Five good reasons why - We love Trevor Phillips

03:49
Trevor, is the most disgusting, filthy, evil, degenerate of a man that we've have ever witnessed. And we love him for that. Here are five good reasons why the CEO of Trevor Phillips Industries is our favorite character in GTA 5. 5. He's funny Trevor is one of the funniest characters in GTA 5. His completely crazy view of the world makes every scene he's in entertaining. And he has a habit of showing up in the strangest places. 4. He's unpredictable Trevor is so unpredictable you never know what he's going to do next. His explosive nature is just a joy to watch. What a loose cannon. 3. His personality fits the gameplay Trevor's rage-fuelled personality fits the gameplay of GTA perfectly. Unlike the gold hearted gangster Nico, Trevor is exactly the sort of person who would run over people without thinking twice about it. 2. He's terrifying Rockstar managed to make Trevor a character that is actually frightening rather than merely violent. His bipolar nature and bad temper make him one scary guy. We wouldn't want to get on his wrong side. 1. He doesn't give a damn Trevor is batshit crazy and doesn't give a damn about all the things most normal people find important. It's very refreshing to play as a character that does whatever the hell he wants even if it can make you feel uneasy at times. We wouldn't want him as our friend but Trevor Phillips is just awesome. Five good reasons why - Violent games won't make you a killer

03:19
Violent video games have always been a hot issue in the media. After each shooting you read how Doom and Counter-strike turned someone into a psycho. We think the connection between video game and real life violence is bullshit and here are five good reasons why! Music by CMA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT3wQBi3_Po Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Epzonix Soundcloud: http://www.soundcloud.com/ezx-dubstep Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/cmachillstep 1. There's no evidence Many academics have published papers on the link between playing violent games and short-term increases in 'aggression', 'hostility', or 'anti-social behavior'. But these studies are not actually providing evidence for a link between playing violent games and violent behavior. The evidence simply doesn't exist. 2 Gaming is a great scapegoat In the 1950s, lots of people blamed comic books for kids' bad behavior. Music, movies and television have also been called the devil in their early days. Since games haven't been around that long it's only natural for politicians and the media to be afraid of this new evil. Fifty years from now it's highly likely people will laugh at today's violent video game controversy. 3. The killers are mentally unstable In almost every single shooting where violent video games were blamed, the individual involved was mentally unstable or ill. But of course it's way more appealing for the media to blame violent video games and pay no attention to the fact that most of these tragedies are linked to mental instability and poor parenting. 4. The vast majority of gamers are non violent people We've never met anyone who was scared of a gamer. Or heard stories of drinkers sneaking out of the bar because a bunch of gamers walked in. Even if violent games made a tiny percentage of all gamers aggressive we would surely see that reflected in the public reception of gamers. Yet we don't. 5. Millions of people play violent games yet violent crime is in steep decline Video games have never been more popular yet violent crime in the US and Europe has been in steep decline since the mid-1990. Some researchers actually see video games and the internet as a possible reason for the decline. According to them games are affordable forms of entertainment that keep people inside and away from real crime and drugs. Now that should give crusading politicians and newspapers some food for thought. Five good reasons why - Manhunt is still the most violent game ever

03:08
If there is one game you don't want your underage kid to play it's Manhunt by Rockstar. Its viciousness makes Grand Theft Auto look like a family friendly Nintendo game. Here are five good reasons why Manhunt and Manhunt 2 are still the most violent games ever created. 1. The violence is dead serious Manhunt's graphic violence is made even more disturbing by the serious tone of the game. There is no humor to the grisly stealth kills. Manhunt never backs down from its mission of pushing the envelope of video game violence. 2. The kills look realistic What makes Manhunt so intensely disturbing is the accuracy of the kill animations. You almost feel sorry for the criminals you are murdering. Just look at this stuff. Even with dated graphics it still makes us feel uncomfortable. 3. The story is sick The story of the first game is completely sick. You play James Earl Cash a death row prisoner recently executed by lethal injection. But the injection turned out to be a sedative after which someone called "The Director" wants you to kill for your freedom. Hearing this guy enjoy your kills a little too much makes it that much more unnerving. 4. It's an interactive snuff movie The main theme of the game is a phenomenon called snuff films. In these movies people get raped, tortured and killed for the sake of entertaining the viewer. Even though a lot of people have heard of snuff films it has never been proven that they actually exist. Making a game look like snuff movie by adding all sorts of video effects is still pretty disturbing however. 5. We're glad Manhunt exists It might look like we despise Manhunt but we're actually glad it exists. It's the Clockwork Orange of video games holding your eyes open so you don't miss a single drop of blood. It's almost as if the game asks you "is this really something you enjoy doing?" Rockstar has made the most violent game ever and they did it in the most respectful way possible. Five good reasons why - We love Platinum Games

03:25
Famous developers like Irrational Games, Bioware, Sony Santa Monica, Bungie and EA Canada have created awesome titles. But there's one new kid on the block that has taken a special place in our heart: Platinum Games. Here are five good reasons why this game studio is AWESOME! 1. All round developers Platinum Games has proven themselves as a true multi platform developer creating seven different games for the Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. With these games they have an overall Metacritic of 8.2, never scoring lower than a 7.8. But of course we are NOT counting their mediocre DLC packages... 2. Artistic Some developers always focus on a certain degree of realism, others have a clear preference for a more cartoony look. Platinum Games chooses a different art style of each video game, ranging from the black and white environment of Madworlds decorated with blood spatters to the futuristic worlds from games like Metal Gear Rising and Vanquish. They all look special, unique and awesome! 3. Single player focus Platinum Games really shines at its brightest when it's creating single player games. The ridiculous combat of Bayonetta, the bloody mess that's called Madworld and the outstanding space simulation Infinite Space are ALL marvelous games that are worth your money. They don't jeopardize their single player mode by adding multi player because "that's what market research tells them to do". Except with Anarchy Reigns, which is clearly their weakest game after all! 4. Crazy characters Without being condescending we can say Japanse game developers can sure create some crazy stuff. The guys from Platinum Games are no exception. Who creates a flirtatious witch who's wearing a cat suit made from her own hair while shooting bullets from her heels? Or what about a futuristic soldier with rockets on his legs to boost and slide through military bases? Platinum Games sure creates some crazy stuff and WE love it! 5. Excellence in combat Even though Platinum Games didn't only make action games, it's clearly their specialty. These guys show excellence in combat and combine sweet button action with marvelous Quick Time Events. Play Vanquish, play Bayonetta and of course Metal Gear Rising. These games are top notch and deserve your love! Five ways to get your girlfriend into gaming

02:33
So you have a girlfriend but you also like to play games. What if we told you could combine the two? Here are five ways to get your girlfriend into gaming. 5. Make a trade In the initial stages of trying to get her to play video games, you might have to compromise. Offer to take her out to dinner or watch one of her favorite romantic comedies in exchange. And recognize that she probably doesn't want to play for eight hours at a time. At least not at first. 4. Start with easy co-op games You can slowly introduce her into the world of gaming with some easy co-op games. Play some of the Lego games together or fire up New Super Mario Bros. It might be boring for you but remember this is only a gateway drug to bigger better games. 3. Pick out games with a good story Start playing games with a good story in front of your girlfriend and she'll be hooked before you know it. The Walking Dead and Heavy Rain are great examples of games with an exciting story line. Before you know it she'll be the one saying 'don't you want to play your game tonight?' 2. Present it as quality time Remind your girlfriend that if you both play video games, you'll be able to spend even more quality time together. However, be aware that it will only count as quality time if she actually does enjoy it, so try not to force an argument about this. 1. Have fun when you play with her If you make it a good time she will enjoy it, even if she's not that into games. Crack jokes, make her laugh and focus primarily on spending time with her, not on winning the game at hand. This is easily the best way to turn your girlfriend into a gamer. Good luck guys! Five good reasons why - We need Warcraft 4

03:52
In recent years new stories about the Warcraft universe have been published as comics, as books and as a part of quests in the online role playing game World of Warcraft. The Warcraft universe is in desperate need for a new strategy game, and we give you and the good people at Blizzard Entertainment five good reason why we need Warcraft 4. 01 -- It's been too long After the release of the expansion Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne in 2003 it became quiet regarding the strategy series. It's been more than ten years since Arthas found the treacherous soul of Ner'zul in Icecrown. After playing Starcraft 2 we can't wait to finally see more story driven strategy games in the Warcraft universe! 02 -- The World after Warcraft After the release of Warcraft 3 so many things have changed in Azeroth due to events in World of Warcraft. The Draenei sought refouge on Azeroth, there's been a huge war against the Lich King and his undead Scourge army, the world of Azeroth was shattered by Deathwing and the Pandaren were discovered as one of the old races on Azeroth. After these events new races come to the world, new conflicts were born... conflicts we can play with in a strategy game! 03 -- Heroes of the Storm Right now Blizzard is working on the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game Heroes of the Storm. The game is build upon the engine for Starcraft 2, but it gives us a glimpse of things to come for Warcraft 4. The graphics improvements are enormous when compared with The Frozen Throne. Counting polygons is SO 2003. 04 -- Story telling RTS Even though Blizzard admitted that cutscenes are still the best way for strategy games to tell a story, the company, and other companies with them, has developed new methods for story progression. These range from triggered in-game sequences and voice-overs, to fully rendered animations. We can't wait to see what Blizzard comes up with to make the new Warcraft strategy game even more emotionally involving. 05 -- Fuck your Alliance! I AM the Alliance There's no better way to fight a war then being the general, the master mind behind it all. Instead of being a lone soldier in Alterac Valley you are commanding your forces and building your base as a true leader. There's no need to swear at your Pick Up Group team that they are noobs who are going to wrong way and are morons for losing a tower. We'll play as the honorable arch mage Jaina Proudmoore, the rebellious Horde commander Garrosh Hellscream or maybe demanding leader of Stormwind, Varian Wrynn. It's time to rise in ranks and become a general instead of a soldier! You are no part of the Alliance, you ARE the Alliance! If you share our ideas or want to join us in our crusade for a new Warcraft, please like the video and share it on social media with your friends and the good people of Blizzard Entertainment. It's likely Warcraft 4 will not become before World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2 are finished, but at least it's good to let them know what we want! ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Or like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Tara on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/modeltarababcock ► Zoomin.TV Games Live - http://www.youtube.com/zoomingameslive Music provided by Monstercat: http://youtube.com/MonstercatMedia ♫ - Teqq - The Road Ahead Zoomin.TV Games is a Youtube Channel Network with lots of videos about gaming. 7 crazy ways developers got back at cheaters

04:11
If there's one thing we all hate when playing an online game, it's cheaters! These guys ruin the experience for the rest of us. Thankfully we have the developers and other gamers on our side. Here are 7 crazy ways cheaters in which got punished! 1. Everquest 2 The online role playing game Everquest 2 recently announced the idea of prison servers. People who cheat or use a glitch to their advantage will be exiled to a prison server. In this online jail cheaters can cheat all they want since they only play with other cheaters. We wonder if they also make prison wine and shank each other. 2. Guild Wars 2 The developers of Guild Wars 2 took things a bit personal when a cheater was clearly cheating by respawning all over the place. They took control of his character, undressed him and made him publically commit suicide. They also deleted all his other characters and blocked his account. That's one way of setting an example! 3. GTA Online The criminal world of GTA Online is not safe for cheaters. Some gamers discovered how to import overpowered cars from the singleplayer into the online world. When Rockstar Games discovered this, they made all the illegally imported cars blow up the moment a player would get in. For a while the streets of GTA Online lit up like it was the fourth of July. 4. Gears of War 2 When Gears of War 2 launched on the Xbox 360 some gamers discovered a way to unlock all achievement points. This greatly enlarged their online bragging rights. But not for long. Microsoft found out, set their gamer score to zero and marked them cheater for life. Ouch! 5. Titanfall The developers of Titanfall have taken a stance similar to Everquest 2. Everybody who cheats will be banned to a special server. Here cheaters can fight each other with their auto aim bots and wall hacks enabled. Have fun cheating against other cheaters, suckers. 6. Counter-Strike Go Valve has been very smart with its anti cheat policy. Dedicated gamers from the Counter-Strike Global Offensive community can get the Overwatch status, which allows them to point out cheaters. This way CS:GO is one of the first to have its in-game policies manned by gamers themselves. And it works pretty well according to the community. 7. Gaming vigilantes And of course there are plenty of examples where gamers took matters into their own hands. In games like GTA Online and DayZ gamers have been forming vigilante groups to take down cheaters. This includes making their online lives as miserable as possible and publicly shaming them on Youtube. How often do you run into cheaters? And what do you do about it? 10 games that break the fourth wall in great ways

10:09
We take a look at 10 times video games surprised us by breaking the fourth wall! And no, we are not mentioning Deadpool, because he breaks the fourth wall all the time and is a way to predictable addition to this video. So get ready for 10 games that break the fourth wall. Tomb Raider 2 The first Tomb Raider was a huge success and spawned all kinds of fantasies about Lara Croft going naked. That’s probably one of the reasons why the ending of Tomb Raider 2 is so well done. After all your efforts defeating evil and finding treasures, Lara Croft kicks back, relaxes and takes a well deserved shower. Conker’s Bad Fur Day Conker’s Bad Fur Day is not shy on jokes and fourth wall breaks. But in this game even the final boss has a hilarious twist. You can clearly see that the developers are big fans of the movie Alien. The Alien is also way too strong. At one point you think you beat it, but it makes a surprise comeback… Eternal Darkness Sanity’s Requiem Eternal Darkness is a psychological horror game. And breaking the fourth wall is an essential part of the gameplay. One of the key elements of this game is a Sanity Meter. It depletes when the main character witnesses horrors and it fills up by casting a spell for example. Kid Icarus Uprising Ever since Kid Icarus was released on the NES, there has been a demand for new games in the series. This finally came with Kid Icarus Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS. The game is surprisingly lighthearted and this is shown in the game’s dialog. The dialog between characters is not only funny, they also contain hints to help you out during the game and extra information about the story. Batman Arkham Asylum With Batman Arkham Asylum we add one of the most memorable gaming moments in recent years. At one point in the game the screen suddenly freezes and crashes like a console that suffered from the Ring of Death. This fourth wall breaking moment sure gave gamers a heart attack. Pony Island Pony Island is one of those very unique indie games. The game itself changes all the time, but really messes with your mind when it starts sending you Steam messages. These messages pop up during the encounter with Asmodeus. And Asmodeus even makes the game freeze, including Windows error pop ups. Metal Gear Solid Hideo Kojima has done amazing work with the Metal Gear Solid series. The very first Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation 1 has two amazing fourth wall breaking moments we couldn’t leave out. One of them is the most famous fourth wall breaking boss battle ever. Psycho Mantis reads your memory card and makes fun of the games you played. Another Code: Two Memories One of the earliest games for the Nintendo DS was Another Code. In the game the main character Ashley also has a Nintendo DS. Yes, it’s the old fat DS. During the game you solve all kinds of puzzles, but one of the fourth wall breaking moments is when the game asks you to actually close your Nintendo DS. X-Men 1993 X-Men was a game made by Sega for the Sega Genesis, or MegaDrive as it’s called in Europe. In one of the final levels of the game you find a computer that needs to be reset. However, there are no buttons to press. Nothing can be done. The only computer you can reset, is your actual gaming system! Boktai In Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand you play a vampire hunter who uses a solar gun to take on his enemies. The game has a built-in light sensor that measures the sunlight it is exposed to. To charge your weapon you need to take your Gameboy Advance into the sun. Did you play any of the games mentioned in this video? What’s your favorite moment or did you play other games that broke the fourth wall? Five good reasons why - EA failed this year

03:14
2013 has been a disastrous year for EA. The publisher had to write more apology letters than Tiger Woods after a Bangkok vacation. Here are five good reasons why EA completely screwed up this year. - Music by: [Nu Disco] - Televisor - The Chase [Monstercat Release] Licensed by Monstercat: http://youtube.com/MonstercatMedia 5. Simcity disaster SimCity has had one of the worst releases in recent memory. Problems with EA's servers meant gamers were unable to play this online only game for days after launch. The publisher apologized and offered a free game to make up for the DRM disaster. 4. Battlefield 4 epic fail EA pushed Battlefield 4 out the door early in order to beat Call of Duty to the market and boy did it backfire. The many glitches, bugs and crashes made the online mode basically unplayable. EA says its working hard on patches to resolve the issues. 3. Command and Cancelled Command and Conquer fans were in for an unpleasant surprise when Electronic Arts suddenly cancelled the free-to-play reboot months before release. We spoke with developer Victory Games at the E3 this year and the game actually looked kind of promising. What a shame. 2. NBA Live 14 embarrassment NBA Live made its return this year after a lengthy period on the bench but it wasn't the triumphant comeback EA had hoped for. Critics described the graphics as "PS2-like" with gameplay that felt just as dated. The difference between Lebron James in NBA Live 14 and NBA 2K14 says it all. Ouch. 1. Worst Company in America EA won the Consumerist poll for being the "Worst Company in America" for the second year in a row in 2013. And judging by all the screw ups on this list they kind of deserve the title. Lets hope they learn from their mistakes and won't win it a third time next year. Get ready for the top 5 sidekicks in gaming! 5. Cole Train - Gears of War series His larger-than-life personality makes Augustus Cole the most memorable of Gears of War's four main characters. He's a great sidekick to the more serious Marcus Fenix providing gamers with comic relief in the grim post-apocalyptic setting of the original trilogy. 4. Alyx Vance - Half Life 2 Half Life 2 would not have been the same without Alyx Vance. Unlike many sidekicks, she is extremely useful in almost any situation. We look forward to seeing more of her when Valve finally gets around to releasing the near-mythical Half-Life 3. 3. Victor "Sully" Sullivan - Uncharted series Victor Sullivan from the Uncharted serious is a sidekick you can count on to pick you up no matter how hairy a situation may get. As Nathan Drake's treasure hunting partner and mentor, "Sully" has seen it all. He is the cigar smoking adventuring uncle that we all wished we could have. 2. Clank - Ratchet & Clank series Clank from the Ratchet and Clank series is one of the best sidekicks in gaming. This little robot provides the perfect counterbalance to adventurer Ratchet. He's not only useful giving you with all sorts of gadgets but also really funny for a guy made from titanium. 1. Elizabeth - Bioshock Infinite Elizabeth starts out as a typical damsel in distress in Bioshock Infinite but she quickly turns into the most capable and valuable sidekick in gaming. She's useful on a gameplay level throwing you ammo and finding valuables. But she also works on an emotional level being one of the most human-like character to ever appear in a video game. 6 cruel things we've all done in video games

04:01
Gaming let's you do all sorts of things you can never do in real life. It's the perfect medium to act out your fantasies even if they are a little dark. Here are 6 cruel things we've all done in games! 1. Torturing Sims Everybody who has ever played the Sims has at one point tortured them. Whether you tried to set them on fire or drown them in the pool, we've all been there. The more heartless bastards would simply build walls around their Sim and let them starve to death. Burn, drown or starve? The choice is yours. 2. Making rollercoasters crash What is more fun than building a rollercoaster? Building a rollercoaster and then letting it crash of course. We've all built horrible rides that go way too fast and only serve as death traps for the people brave enough to ride them. That will teach them for complaining about the price of fries. 3. Blowing Up Megaton Few things are more evil than dropping a nuke on innocent people. Yet lots of us did exactly that in Fallout 3. We didn't mind destroying Megaton due to the whims of a rich guy who thinks it gets in the way of his view. And afterwards you can talk to the people that got exposed to radiation because of you. Talk about an awkward conversation. 4. Shooting enemies in the balls Doling out headshots has become second nature for most gamers. But the more cruel kind of gamer will go for the much more painful ball shot. Shooting an enemy in the balls is always good for a laugh even if it's only to see if the developers have made an animation for it. I feel your pain guys. 5. Locking the butler in the freezer We all loved running around in Lara's huge mansion in Tomb Raider 2. And locking her butler in the fridge was one the most fun and cruel things you could do. There were countless rumours that if you left him inside long enough he would actually freeze to death. That wasn't the case but still we feel bad for poor old Winston. 6. Tying people up Call us cruel but we love tying people up in Red Dead Redemption. You can drag your victims behind your horse or just straight up kill them if you're done playing with them. The game even rewards you with an achievement for hogtying a helpless woman and leaving her on a railroad track. Now that's just cruel. What are some of the cruellest things you've ever done in a video game? Top 5 - Games that reward you for doing nothing

04:24
There are some developers out there that reward lazy gamers. However the games on this list take things to a Homer Simpson level of laziness. Get ready for the top 5 games that reward you for doing absolutely nothing! 5. Fable 2 Playing Fable 2 is already not that much of a challenge, but you can make things even easier by buying a lot of houses and shops. They earn you money even when you are not playing the game. Come back a week later and you’ll be filthy rich. This way you can simply buy all the gear you need to finish this game! 4. The Stanley Parable The Stanley Parable is full of amazing achievements like trying to jump or clicking a door 430 times. But nothing beats the “Go Outside” achievement. This one wants you the gamer to actually go outside. Just shut down the game, wait for 5 years, come back and start playing again. BAM! Achievement unlocked. But of course, instead of waiting for 5 years, you can also just change the date on your computer. But where is the fun in that? 3. Final Fantasy 5 Fighting Gogo in Final Fantasy 5 is one of the most annoying things ever. His moves can wipe your party very easily in just three turns. The fight will only start to make sense when you realize he is a mimic that copies your moves. So why not do nothing? Gogo will also do nothing and after a while he will get restless and leave the area. Not all fights are won with violence. 2. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater The fight against The End in Metal Gear Solid 3 is legendary. You need to fight this 100 year old sniper in a huge area full of great hiding places. And we all know how annoying snipers can be. It’s not impossible to beat him the normal way, but you can also just save your game mid-fight and don’t play the game for a week. The End will have died of old age when you come back and you can continue your mission. 1. Far Cry 4 At the beginning of Far Cry 4 you are asked to wait until the bad guy comes back. Of course the game expects you to escape but you can also just stand still and relax. After 15 minutes you are escorted to a place where you can scatter your mother’s ashes and the game ends. This has to be one of easiest and most lazy ways to complete a campaign in the history of gaming. Did you try any of the tactics on this list? Let us know in the comments. And don’t be lazy and leave us a like before you go. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ GET OUR APP ► iOS - bit.ly/ZGCommunityApp ► Android - bit.ly/ZGCommunityAndroid ZOOMINGAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA ► Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Snapchat - zoomintvgames ► Instagram - zoomingames.ig ► Twitch - http://www.twitch.tv/zoomintvgames ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ MUSIC AND AUDIO Music provided by Epidemic Sound. http://www.epidemicsound.com/youtube-creator-subscription/ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ABOUT US Zoomin.TV Games is the number one source for game related top five videos, list videos, game information and everything with some comedy. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ PARTNERSHIPS Information about Youtube partnerships can be found here: http://corporate.zoomin.tv/youtube/become-a-partner/

Top 5 - Weird Nintendo inventions

04:00
In a recent Top 5 video we praised Nintendo for its great inventions, but the Japanese company has also made a lot of weird stuff over the years. Get ready for the five craziest inventions by Nintendo.! 5. DK Bongo Drums - GameCube Out of all the weird inventions listed here, the DK Bongo Drums actually served their purpose pretty well. You had to hit the bongos to make Donkey Kong run and once in a while you would need to clap your hands. It was all about rhythm really. It was all pretty good fun until someone would walk into the room to ask what the hell you were doing. 4. VR Virtual Boy Wearing a helmet device to see a threedimensional world. That doesn't sound so weird now that there's stuff like the Oculus Rift, right? Well, twenty years ago Nintendo tried it already. The Virtual Boy was the biggest failure in the companies history. The device was really heavy and the red display gave people headaches. In the end if was only on the market for a few months and less than a dozen games have been published for it. 3. The Power Glove - NES The Power Glove ... It's so bad. Well at least they weren't lying about this piece of crap. Controlling a video game by moving your arms sounds pretty much like the Nintendo Wii. However, the first time Nintendo thought about it was in the late 80s. The Power Glove was a device you would wear like a glove and it would enable you to control games by movement. Unfortunately it didn't work at all and failed miserably. 2. Gameboy Printer - Gameboy Before we were all taking selfies on our smartphones there was the Gameboy camera. Using the Game Boy Camera you could take a photo and that photo could be printed using the Gameboy Printer! Sure, it required special paper and many batteries, but just look at these commercials, Nintendo is actually the inventor of the selfie! 1. R.O.B. - NES The weirdest invention by Nintendo ever has to be R.O.B. The Robot. You might recognize him from playing Mario Kart DS or Super Smash Bros. But originally R.O.B. The Robot was a hardware add-on for the Nintendo Entertainment System. He was designed as a little robot buddy for you to play games with. Unfortunately only two games were compatible with the robot, Gyromite and Stack-Up. And R.O.B. was so slow and clumsy that it wasn't much fun to play with him at all. Don't cry R.O.B. you are still the number one on our list! ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Or like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Tara's channel - http://www.youtube.com/modeltarababcock ► Zoomin.TV Creators - https://www.youtube.com/user/ZoominTVCreators Download our live app Zive ► Android - http://bit.ly/1ktZbLP ► iOS - http://bit.ly/1gOrLlx Music provided by ♫ - Audiomicro - part of our partnership with the Zoomin.TV Network Zoomin.TV Games is a Youtube Channel Network with lots of videos about gaming, from top 5 videos to interesting interviews and coverage of all the big gaming events. Top 5 - Epic E3 fails of all time

06:56
The E3 is the biggest gaming event of the year. And like any big event it has had it's fair share of embarrassing moments. Get ready for the top 5 epic E3 fails of all time. 5. Every Kinect presentation We all now know the Kinect has no place in gaming. But boy did Microsoft fail to convince us otherwise with their E3 presentations. There's the famous avatar shoe fail from Kudo… Cringeworthy child actors being way too into it… and adults acting like complete morons. Let's be thankful that we no longer have to endure this painful crap. 4. Mr Caffeine - Ubisoft E3 2011 press conference It's sad really that most hardcore gamers know exactly what you mean when you say Mr. Caffeine. This host made sure that Ubisoft's 2011 press conference was full of uncomfortable silences by his horrible attempts at humor. Mr. Caffeine! Your lame Wayne World's reference is only making this audience contemplate suicide. 3. Sony's E3 2006 Press Conference The Sony E3 presentation of 2006 was absolutely hilarious for all the wrong reasons. They revealed that the PS3 would have an expensive launch price of $599 dollars … Kaz Hirai got completely overexcited while emulating Ridge Racer … And who can forget the giant enemy crab in Genji 2 after the producer stated that the game was based on actual Japanese history. 2. Jamie Kennedy - Activision E3 press conference 2007 Remember the time when Jamie Kennedy showed up drunk and high as hell to host Activision’s E3 press conference in 2007? We hope you don't cause the amount of awkwardness on display makes the whole thing hard to watch. We're embarrassed for him and somehow surprised he didn't get shot after bombing this hard. 1. Konami 2010 Press Conference The Konami 2010 Press Conference is probably the worst conference in the history of E3. I mean we could fill this entire top 5 with this beautiful disaster of a show. There is an abundance of memes that came from this conference. Thanks Konami for giving us this extreeeeeeme piece of E3 history. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ZOOMIN.TV GAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Or check out our Tumblr - http://zoomintvgames.tumblr.com/ ► We are on Twitch too!! http://www.twitch.tv/zoomintvgames ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ DOWNLOAD OUR APP NOW FOR FREE ■ iOS ► http://goo.gl/VFNxgj ■ Android ► http://goo.gl/8JQn05 ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ MUSIC AND AUDIO Music provided by Audiomicro, thanks to our partnership with the Zoomin.TV Network. 10 things that will make you love the Persona series

10:03
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 was one of the best, if not THE best role playing games on the PS2. But this release happened almost a decade ago and with Persona 5 just around the corner, we would like to remind you how great the Persona series is. Started as a spin-off The Persona series is actually a spin-off from the Megami Tensei series. The 1996 Playstation 1 release of Revelations: Persona took place at a school that was also seen in Shin Megami Tensei If… But from that point forward each of the games has had a story of its own, Modern day Japan Where most RPGs use a fantasy setting, the Persona series takes place in modern day Japan. But this version of our world is infused with mythology and the occult. Each of the stories take place in a different part of the country, but the central location is always a school. Serious themes The stories in Persona are pretty deep and can get dark at times. Each of the characters are flawed in some way and during the game their dark story will slowly unravel. Many social issues are brought up, ranging from loss, fear and trauma to LGBT issues and depression. The social elements in the game world really play an important role. School kid during the day Every game in the Persona series is about school kids and their troubles and the story takes place over the period of one school year. Life at school is just as an important part of the games as combat is. You need to complete tests and learn some skills that way, but you also need to form social bonds with other kids Dungeon crawler at night The other major element of the series is dungeon crawling. When it comes to its gameplay, the Persona series has always been quite traditional. Ever since the first release over 20 years ago, combat has been a turn based affair. The first two games in the series used random encounters, which was replaced by models representing enemy groups in the later games. Personamon The aspect that really makes the Persona series stand out from the crowd, are the Persona. These spirits can be leveled up and help you in a fight. You can also fuse Persona together, resulting in a more powerful persona that also gets new powers. Summoning Persona The way you summon Persona is always a bit twisted. In Persona 3 you had to fake a suicide by putting a gun against your head. In Persona 4 you would summon the Persona using tarot cards as if they are some sort of demons. And in Persona 5 you rip your own face off like Nicholas Cage and reveal your Persona that way. Lighthearted Persona is not all serious business though. The series offers enough room for funny situations. For example when the boys walked into the girl at the hot springs in Persona 4 Golden. Or the time the group got together in a club and played the King’s Game. Or that time when Teddie crowd surfed and the rest failed miserably. Velvet Room A central part of each of the Persona games, is the so called Velvet Room. This room does not exist in the real world version of Tokyo, but it’s a location that is between the conscious and the unconscious… almost like it only exists in your mind. This Velvet Room serves has a Quest Hub, but it looks different in every game. Great music Even though the music in the Persona series is created by multiple composers, Shoji Meguro is the one who is most associated with the series. Persona 2 is the only game he wasn’t involved with. But he did become the music director on the PSP releases of Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment. Persona 5 is the newest game in the series and it’s available on the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. We have left a referral link down in the video description. Splinter Cell Retrospective - History of Splinter Cell

05:26
It's been a decade since gamers met Sam Fisher for the first time. The Third Echelon agent has had the lead role in six Tom Clancy adventures with him being both a heroic undercover agent and a renegade. Let's zoom in on the history of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. In 2002 players met Sam Fisher on the first Xbox and pc. He's a highly trained operative working in secret for an anti terrorism unit. For this first game Tom Clancy objected to the use of trifocal goggles, but in the end he approved. This gave Fisher his most recognizable feature: three green lights. The first Splinter Cell was a blueprint for the rest of the series. Gameplay relied for a big part on sneaking in the dark, taking down enemies silently and only using your ammunition when necessary. After winning several prizes and selling more then three million copies the adventures of Sam Fisher needed to continue. Two years later Ubisoft published Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Even without changing the formula of the game, it still was a success... selling approximately three million units. Laser sight was added to the gun so shooting accuracy would be improved. The biggest addition to the game was a multiplayer mode in which mercenaries competed against sneaking spies. Ubisoft was on a roll and gamers wanted more adventures of secret agent Sam Fisher. With the release of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory in 2005 it was the first time players needed to remain silent while sneaking in the dark. sssssssssssst Chaos Theory also meant the debut of a co-operative game mode in which players could work together to fight terrorism. For many gamers this was the best Splinter Cell yet. In 2005 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent made its debut on the next generation Xbox 360. After hearing about the death of his daughter... Fisher went undercover in a terrorist organization. Decisions in the game influenced your reputation with the American government and the terrorists. In early 2006 Ubisoft released the one Splinter Cell game that shall not be named. Ok, it's Splinter Cell: Essentials for the Playstation Portable. The worst received game in the series so far. The game didn't run smooth on the PSP and the controls were clunky. Essentials tells the story of Sam Fisher being caught near the grave of his dead daughter The game makes players relive the memories of Sam Fisher in flashbacks. It took the series almost four years to make a comeback. Four years to make the next step in the Splinter Cell series. That next step was not a story of an anti terrorism hero. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction makes Sam Fisher an enemy of the state. In Conviction the former secret agent discovers somebody killed his daughter and he is out for vengeance. Meanwhile agents from Third Echelon and NSA are trying to stop Sam. Without access to high tech gadgets this was the first game in the series that relies for a big part on hand to hand combat. Smart features like the Last Known Location that could be used to trick enemies were really cool! A special Mark And Execute feature allowed a fast and easy way to gun down multible baddies. Splinter Cell: Conviction has sold more than 2 million copies, but -- for some business reason -- was not released on Playstation 3. With the launch of the Nintendo 3DS a remake of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was released as Splinter Cell 3D. But as heroic as Sam Fisher is, he couldn't save this game from being a mediocre. At the end of 2011 the Splinter Cell series finally made its debut on Playstation 3. But it was not a new game. Ubisoft published a high definition remake of the first three games in the series. Maybe this will lead to future Splinter Cell games being released on Playstation 3. Jade Raymond and her team at Ubisoft Toronto are working on a new Splinter Cell game. It's rumored title is Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Retribution but Ubisoft has not announced the game yet. Nobody knows for which consoles the game will be made. Let's hope Fisher will be back with a vengeance!

04:32
Being human is all right but wouldn't you rather have X-Ray eyes, insanely fast legs and super strong arms? We take a look at the five coolest enhanced people in gaming. So relax your normal body and get ready for the top 5 - enhanced humans! 5. Nathan Spencer - Bionic Commando series Back in the late eighties you might not have been aware of Nathan Spencer's awesome enhancements. But in the past few years Capcom has made several Bionic Commando games that proof that it's cool to have a robot arm when you are fighting terrorists for a government that despises you. 4. Raiden - Metal Gear series Being a soldier for hire and trying to protect the innocent isn't the easiest job in the world. But when you are a half robot half human like Raiden in the Metal Gear series it suddenly becomes a lot more doable. Fast movements, extreme sword fighting, Raiden is quite the bad ass! 3. Agent 47 - Hitman series Agent 47 was born on September 5th in 1964 as a fourth generation clone with an enhanced DNA structure. He is the ultimate assassin with awesome physical and mental strength. 47 can kill anyone in the world making him a perfect example of the dangers of human enhancement. 2. Master Chief - Halo series Master Chief is a cybernetically enhanced super soldier destined to save the universe from an evil threat. With nearly 30 years of active duty, he is one of the most decorated war veterans in the United Nations Space Command. John one one seven is simply awesome. 1. Adam Jensen - Deus Ex Human Revolution We've put Adam Jensen on top of our list because he is a bad ass enhanced human and because this topic plays a central role in his game. Deus Ex: Human Revolution questions the ethics of advancing humanity with superior artificial body parts. Which kinda makes you wonder if smartphones and Google Glass are the first step towards amazing cyber prosthetics. But when things go wrong it's ... well actually, sometimes way, way better! These are the top 5 funny glitches in gaming! 5. Fallout New Vegas - Bethesda This glitch in Fallout: New Vegas is funny, but also incredibly creepy. In the midst of some dialogue, Doc Mitchell's head begins to rotate in very odd ways. But that is just the beginning. Somebody better call a priest fast. 4. Skyrim - Bethesda This video starts out bizarre with a character running while hovering over the horse. But look what happens when the rider comes across a hungry bear. Now that's one hell of defence mechanism. Get to the chopper! 3. Red Dead Redemption - Rockstar Games In this video, we see carriages in Red Dead Redemption bouncing around like they are in a 1990s Snoop Dog video. Let's see if we can make a real gangsta out of good ol' John. Yeah look at that player riding dirty. You go John! 2. FIFA 12 - Electronic Arts We're all for celebrating a good goal but the players in FIFA 12 take things a little too far. Seriously guys get a room. The broken leg glitch is also pretty funny. It looks like he's riding an invisible magic carpet. 1. Skate 3 - Electronic Arts Skate 3 is the ultimate game for fans of funny glitches. Just look at this amazing compilation of epic bails and other funny stuff. Skate 3 proves that a game full of glitches can be absolutely hilarious. Top 5 - Worst video game launches

06:12
You are hyped for a game, spend weeks following it and when it finally comes out it all turns to shit. In this top 5 we talk about the worst video game launches in the history of gaming. Get ready for some epic fails! 5. Assassin's Creed: Unity Ubisoft actually had to mention the terrible launch of Assassin’s Creed: Unity in a video just to get fans back on board for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. Unity was so broken at launch it required a 40 gigabyte patch which basically replaced the entire game. This patch came after a month of apologies and quick-fixes. However the hilarious bugs of Assassin's Creed: Unity will probably haunt Ubisoft forever. 4. Godus Game developer Peter Molyneux is known for making promises he can’t keep but he really outdid himself with the launch of Godus. His so called epic return to the God game genre had almost none of the features that were promised to Kickstarter backers. It was even worse for the winner of the Godus app contest. He was promised ‘a life changing experience’ and after months of waiting the developers finally invited him over to play the game for three hours before taking him to the local pub. Life changing indeed. 3. Diablo III The whole world was waiting on the epic return of the Diablo series and when Diablo 3 finally came out almost nobody got to play it. The now-infamous 'Error 3007' meant that Blizzard’s servers were crapping out. You couldn’t even play the singleplayer campaign because of the ‘always online’ piracy protection. All players could do was read the instruction manual and fantasize about actually being able to play the game. It doesn’t get any more anticlimactic than that. 2. SimCity (2013) Always online was also the thing that completely ruined the launch of SimCity back in 2013. It took EA one entire week before players were finally able to get into the game. They messed up so bad that they later apologized by giving away free copies of their other big titles. It didn’t help that SimCity itself was pretty disappointing and got completely blown away by the budget title Cities: Skyline in 2015. Honorable mentions: Driveclub Mighty No. 9 Halo: The Master Chief Collection Tony Hawk 5 1. Batman: Arkham Knight (PC Version) The launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC is one of the worst things that ever happened to gamers. The game released so broken that thousands of negative reviews forced Warner Bros. to remove it from sale almost immediately. They offered refunds and even recalled physical versions from stores as if they tried to remove evidence from a crime scene. It took four months of patching before they dared to start selling the game again and even then they gave gamers the option to get a full refund at any time. That’s how much they realised they messed up. Were you the victim of any of these terrible video game launches? Top 5 - Funny Engrish in games

04:15
Nowadays Japanese games are correctly translated... well, most of them anyway. But back in the day Japanese developers didn't have the budget or manpower for a good translation. This resulted in truly hilarious cases of Engrish. Here is our Top 5 Engrish in games! 5 - Metal Gear - NES So imagine you're a native English speaker playing Metal Gear on the N.E.S. You're having a great time until.... Modern Metal Gear is still not easy to understand but at least it's not because of bad spelling. 4 - X-Men - Arcade game Did he just say welcome to die? ... Guess grammar isn't important if you're Magneto... 3 - Ghostbusters - NES The ending of Ghostbusters on the NES is a perfect example of Engrish. The serious Japanese message about honor just becomes comical when translated into English. And the spelling, o god the spelling... 2 - Ghosts N' Goblins - NES To beat Ghosts N' Goblins you have to beat Satan and the entire rest of the game twice. And both times you get a message in broken English... "This story is happy end." Well, that's good to know. 1 - Zero Wing - Mega Drive The Mega Drive or Genesis game Zero Wing is the number one in our top 5. Almost all the lines in the intro of this game are absolute classics. The famous line 'All your base are belong to us' became a popular meme on its own transcending the world of gaming. Badly translated games just don't get any better than this. What are some your favorite examples of badly translated Japanese games? Let us know in the comments below! Top 5 - Worst voice acting in gaming

04:26
We've already made a top 5 about the best male and female voice-actors in gaming. So now it's time to look at the worst voice acting in gaming. The voice work in the games in this top 5 is so bad that it's good. No that's not really the case but at least it's funny as hell. Now get ready for the five worst voice-acting jobs in gaming! 5. Resident Evil - Capcom The voice acting in the original Resident Evil is extremely cheesy. The poor translation from Japanese to English combined with some amazing overacting from Barry Burton resulted in some truly hilarious lines. 4. Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 - Take-Two Interactive The lads in Grand Theft Auto London were supposed to sound harder than a coffin nail. But they were on thin fucking ice reading their lines like they didn't give a monkey's. Are you taking the piss? Now, fuck off! 3. Chaos Wars - O3 Entertainment The voice acting in Chaos Wars is comedy gold. The sarcastic way in which the 'voice actors' read their lines makes it seem like their are mocking the script. I mean seriously guys could you at least pretend like you actually give a fuck? 2. Nintendo CD-i games - Philips The CD-i's library is full of games with awful voice acting but nothing hurt more than seeing Philips' terrifying take on Nintendo games. Mario tawwks like he's from New Yawk. While Link couldn't be more of an effeminate jerk if he tried. 1. Animal Soccer World - Phoenix Games Animal Soccer World for the Playstation 2 has the worst voice-acting in gaming. The horrendous voice acting of all the animals is done by ONLY ONE voice actor who's clearly from Holland, isn't that vierd? Listening to this game is an experience we wouldn't wish upon our worst enemy. Top 5 - Delayed games of 2012

03:29
We are not even halfway through 2012 and already lots of games have been postponed. Many of them will be released next year. Let's have a look at the five most anticipated games of 2013 that were originally planned for 2012. 5. Metro: Last Light (THQ) The sequel to the 2010 release Metro 2033 has quietly been postponed to the first quarter of next year. We guess cold February is a better to be fighting for survival in the post apocalyptic wastes of Moscow. At least we know the game will be cool... you get it? Cool. 4. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (Namco Bandai) Every gamer with a little love for Japanese movies knows Studio Ghibli movies like Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky. This movie studio teamed up with the Dragon Quest masters of Level-5 to create Ni No Kuni. It's a traditional Japanese RPG and it looks gorgeous, but you have to wait till the beginning of next year before you can play it. 3. Tomb Raider (Square Enix) The longer we wait the younger Lara Croft will be. Or at least that's the way we try to explain the sudden postponement of the new Tomb Raider adventure. The next treasure hunt of Lara Croft was promised to be finished in October but its secrets will not be revealed in the beginning of 2013. 2. Aliens Colonial Marines (Sega) With Prometheus in the cinema we couldn't be more excited about fighting Xenomorphs once again. Especially considering this will be a Wii U game as well, where you can use the tablet controller as a Xenomorph scanner. Aliens will be hunting you in February. 1. Bioshock Infinite (2K Games) The true successor to the first Bioshock is highly anticipated. We can't wait to be shooting and navigating through the utopian flying city of Columbia. The game missed its October release and will now be in shops in February. Let's just hope the Infinite subtitle is not an indication for its development cycle.

10 great cult games nobody bothered to buy

05:40
If you read lots of game magazines and websites, from time to time you will catch them talking about cult classics. These are games for the true gaming connoisseur. And quite often they just didn’t do so well commercially. Here are 10 cult games that hardly anyone bothered to buy. 1. Tokyo Jungle (0,26 million) In Tokyo Jungle you play an animal trying to survive in a deserted city. You can be a Pomeranian forced to give up its domestic life, or a lion seeking a home. This rough gem only sold a little over 250 thousands copies but is one of the most special games available for the Playstation 3. 2. Psychonauts (1.5 million) Tim Schafer is one of the greatest game developers out there, but that doesn’t mean his games always sell. Psychonauts is one of the most interesting and deep adventure games out there, but basically everything that could go wrong went wrong while publishing this game. In the end only 1.5 million gamers bought the game. 3. Grim Fandango (0,35 million) An even more acclaimed title is Grim Fandango. This adventure game was also made by Tim Schafer. It won many awards and is considered one of the best adventure games of all time. But it sold only a couple of hundred thousand copies. In the end LucasArts decided to close its adventure game division because of this commercial failure. 4. Spec Ops: The Line (1.14 million) People have been talking about Spec Ops: The Line ever since it was released 4 years ago. Its story is one of the best ever written for a shooter. However, not many people actually played the game. Estimates indicate it sold around 800 thousand copies in its first year. And thanks to bundles and Steam sales it’s now just over 1.1 million copies. 5. Conker’s Bad Fur Day (0,77 million) The Nintendo 64 has enough amazing, kid friendly platform games. But Conker’s Bad Fur Day was aimed at an adult audience. This meant Nintendo did not help out promoting the game, resulting in hardly any media exposure. Suffice to say, with only 770 thousand copies sold Conker’s Bad Fur Day fell victim to its own foul mouth and the Nintendo ad-blocker. 6. Alpha Protocol (1,2 million) An action role playing game about a secret agent sounds like a dream come true. Unfortunately Alpha Protocol was flawed and buggy. Once again it was the story that really stood out thanks to its Mass Effect-style of dialogue choices. With only 1.2 million copies sold, publisher SEGA didn’t want a sequel. However developer Obsidian expressed their wishes for a follow-up a few years ago. So who knows? 7. Beyond Good and Evil (0.5 million) For years we have been waiting on Beyond Good and Evil 2. This would be a sequel to a game that was a big commercial flop. With just half a million copies sold the first game was a big disappointment, even though it was praised by critics. Beyond Good and Evil is now one of the biggest cult classics out there… and we are still hoping for that sequel. 8. Jet Set Radio (“relatively low”) Jet Set Radio is perhaps one of the best skating games ever made and its soundtrack was amazing. It was a good reason to get a Dreamcast. But in the end that also was the problem, you needed a Dreamcast for this game and not many people had those. Official numbers are lacking, but Sega has stated that the sales numbers of Jet Set Radio were “relatively low”. And yet, critics still praise this game up until this day. 9. The Saboteur (1,03 million) With just over one million sold, The Saboteur was a commercial failure. It even resulted in the closure of the once so beloved game studio Pandemic. In The Saboteur you had to liberate areas of Paris from German occupation and bring color and hope back into the life of the citizens. All in order the avenge your friends death. It’s a shame not more people played this hidden gem. 10. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (1,2 million) Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is based on a classic piece of literature and features the acting of Andy Serkis. What you get is a fascinating story about a group of friends saving the world from evil, but not knowing whether they really did the right thing. This really was a great third person action game. After a year it only sold 730 thousand copies, putting a planned sequel back into the freezer. Did you buy any of these games? Or are you now planning to look them up on Ebay and Steam and try them out yourself? Five good reasons why - We still don't like movie games

04:15
Who doesn't love watching a good movie while eating microwave popcorn? But even though there's so much love for awesome movies, there's still a negative vibe surrounding the so called movie games. Here are five reasons why! 1. Bad reputation Movie games have a bad reputation. There was a time, not so long ago, that every big Hollywood movie got a game with the same title. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Iron Man and Avatar were all great movies but we cannot say the same about the games. They are all steaming piles of garbage. 2. Short development time Usually it takes about three or four years to develop a good game. But with movie games the development time is cut short. Expensive license agreements, limited resources and a release date set in stone lead to a rushed development cycle. It's almost impossible to make a good game under those circumstances. That's one of the reasons many movie games are now smartphone apps instead. 3. Limited creative freedom When developers make their own game, they can do whatever they want. But when they make a game based on a movie, they are limited by the things the movie company allows them to do. Things like story, level design and character development have to be approved by many different people. In many cases game developers can only work with the limited tools they are given by the movie studio. 4. Marketing tool In the end a game based on a Hollywood blockbuster is only being made as a marketing tool. Which basically means the game will hardly get any support after its release. There's a very small chance for DLC and even patching a game to fix bugs can be difficult due to financial constrains. It's riding on the back of the movie and obviously that's not in our benefit. 5. The same story When a game is based on a movie, it usually retells the plot from the movie. So watching or playing one, will spoil the other experience. And if the game does have an alternative storyline within the same universe, you can bet that it's not even half as good as the movie plot. In general movie games are just something gamers should be very weary of. Is there no hope left for movie games? Yes there is, as long as developers make games based on an entire movie franchises. Shadow of Mordor and Alien Isolation are recent examples of movie games done right. So there IS hope for the movie game, as long as its release is not supposed to coincide with the theatrical release of a blockbuster. Top 5 - Devils in games

Evil comes in all shapes and sizes. But the true face of evil is of course the devil himself. Here are the five best portrayals of true evil in gaming! 5. - The Darkness - Darkness series Demonic arms might not be the most classical representation of the devil. But when an evil voice wants you to do terrible things, you must admit The Darkness sure smells a lot like Lucifer. 4. - Satan - The Binding of Isaac In The Binding of Isaac you lock yourself in a basement because your own mom wants to kill you. As if that isn't messed up enough you found a whole bunch monsters there including good old Satan. He voices lines from your Mom played backwards. Boy that's creepy. 3. - Lucius - Lucius Lucius might just be the son of the devil but that doesn't make him any less evil. All sorts of 'accidents' happen around this kid. Lucius was born on June 6th in 1966 and on his sixth birthday, he started showing signs of his true origin. I'm sure his father would be very proud. 2. - Lucifer - Dante's Inferno In Dante's Inferno you literally travel through the nine circles of hell to kill the ultimate evil, Lucifer. It doesn't take long before he reveals his true form ... which is kind of impressive. Who knew the devil was hung like a horse? 1. - Diablo - Diablo series The best and most classic portrayal of the face of evil is of course Diablo from the Diablo series. This ultimate evil is the Lord of Hatred and he has only one purpose: The destruction and enslavement of all mankind. And if you're lucky he will also drop some epic loot. Retro game of the week - Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix (PSX)

03:29
This week we're playing Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix on the original Playstation. This game from 2001 is known for its shock value in the form of bloody death scenes ...... and the lesbian relationship between two of the game's leads. Fear Effect 2 was a prequel to the first game which showed how the three main characters met. It also introduced Hana's love interest, Rain. Their mission in the game was to stop an epidemic of a highly dangerous disease. The game looked a lot like a cel shaded Resident Evil thanks to its pre rendered background and cinematic camera angles. It made the futuristic cyberpunk world of Hong Kong a very interesting place to explore. You would play as each of the four main characters at different times throughout the game. The gameplay was primarily focused on solving puzzles to progress rather than combating enemies. It made every enemy encounter that much more exciting especially since it was very easy to die in Fear Effect 2. One wrong move and your ass was toast. But that was also part of the fun as the game had some great death scenes. The game had more mature content in the form of the lesbian relationship between Hana and Rain. Even though it was only a very small part of the story, it still caused a lot of controversy at the time. Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix sense of style, interesting characters and beautiful cel shaded graphics make it a truly unique game. Revisit this classic if you're in the mood for a mature cyberpunk adventure. You'll see that it offers so much more than just the blood and cleavage its know for. Five good reasons why - Battlefield 4 is going to be awesome

02:58
The first Battlefield on next generation hardware might just be the complete package we've been waiting on since the launch of 1942 more than ten years ago. Here are five good reasons why Battlefield 4 is going to blow us away. Music by Protiac: http://www.youtube.com/user/Protiac 1. Frostbite 3 The game looks absolutely stunning thanks to the new Frostbite 3 engine. But we're not just getting more eye candy. The gameplay will also be much more interesting thanks the powerful engine's ability to generate spectacular set-pieces and even bigger environments for us to explore. 2. Improved single player The single player of Battlefield 3 felt very guided and restrictive but that's no longer the case in Battlefield 4. This time you enter big 'action area's' where you can choose you own approach. You can jump in vehicles, snipe enemies from a distance or run in guns blazing. You can even direct squad mates and spot enemies like you do in the multiplayer mode. 3. 60 fps across the board PC gamers have had the joy of running Battlefield at 60 frames per second for some time now. But Battlefield 4 will be the first time a Battlefield title has run at 60 frames per second on console. This brings the game inline with rival Call of Duty: Ghosts. We can't wait to experience the awesome open map gameplay with such a smooth frame rate. 4. Destructible environments Battlefield 4 has destructible environments giving you the ability to blow holes in walls and crumble entire buildings. If you know someone is camping in a small building in Battlefield 4, it's no problem. Just get some sort of explosive device and blow the building to smithereens. Great stuff. 5. Commander mode is back Battlefield 4 is bringing back the popular Commander Mode from Battlefield 2. The strategic leadership role grants one player an overhead view of the battle and access to various support abilities. The addition of Commander mode could genuinely open up a new level of teamwork and tactics we missed in Battlefield 3. And it even works on tablets which is extremely cool. Top 5 - Easter eggs from the early 90s

03:30
It's Easter Monday so that's a perfect time to look at the best Easter eggs in gaming. Back in the good old days there was no internet and you had to rely on stories from friends or magazines to unlock secrets in games. To relive those times we take a look at the five coolest Easter eggs from the 80s and early 90s. Pilotwings – N64 – 1996 – Mario becomes Wario on mountain Who didn't love the open world flying action of Pilotwings. In the Nintendo 64 game you could see Mario's head as part of Mount Rushmore. Hit the mountain often enough and Mario will change into Wario. How's that for a cool little Easteregg? Zombies Ate My Neighbours – PC/SNES – 1993 – Meet George Lucas! When you finish the Super Nintendo game Zombies Ate My Neighbours and sit through the entire three minute credit role you unlock a sweet Easteregg. The main character of the game can walk into a virtual studio where he's greeted by the one and only George Lucas himself. Yup, the Force is strong with this one. Duke Nukem 3D – PC 1996 – Indiana Jones Speak of George Lucas... this one is interesting too. Duke Nukem 3D is full of Easter eggs, ranging from the Doom space marine to references to the OJ Simpson trial. However, finding Indiana Jones spiked to a wall in a cave that's about to collapse, is what we call an awesome Easter egg! Doom 2 – PC – 1992 – Hate John Romero Back in the early nineties it was quite easy for developers to hide stuff in their games. Apparently the team working on Doom 2 hated John Romero so much that they decided to put his head on a spike in a secret room. Suck it down Romero! The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past – SNES – 1992 – Chris Houlihan room Back in 1990 Chris Houlihan won a contest to get his own room in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. But the communication between the US and Japanese departments of Nintendo was so bad, that the Japanese kept sealing the room thinking it was a bug. Now the Chris Houlihan room can only be reached by glitching through some walls. Tell us your favourite secrets in gaming and don't forget to have a great Easter! ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ CHECK OUT THESE PLAYLISTS ► Random List Wednesday - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8ojpNOXs0q-w9J1We0qYShQ4jZL_0WzR ► Looking back at classic games and legendary consoles in Best Memories - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8ojpNOXs0q-7l0iKKf3OECSKX3J1s-iJ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ZOOMIN.TV GAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Or check out our Tumblr - http://zoomintvgames.tumblr.com/ ► We are on Twitch too!! http://www.twitch.tv/zoomintvgames ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ DOWNLOAD OUR APP NOW FOR FREE ■ iOS ► http://goo.gl/VFNxgj ■ Android ► http://goo.gl/8JQn05 ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ MUSIC AND AUDIO Music provided by Audiomicro, thanks to our partnership with the Zoomin.TV Network. 8 worst video game quotes of all time

05:21
Gaming scripts are usually full of cheesy dialog. However the games in this video are the absolute worst offenders when it comes to awkward lines. Here 8 of the worst video games quotes ever unleashed upon this world. 1. “That wizard came from the moon.” - Destiny Peter Dinklage must have been pretty surprised when he had to read that ridiculous line. The quote quickly became infamous and developer Bungie decided to roll with it by splashing it onto t-shirts. They have since taken Dinklebot out of the game but we’ll always remember his most famous line. 2. Resident Evil: “Here’s a lockpick. It might come in handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.” The first Resident Evil is full of cheesy dialog and bad translations from the Japanese original. There are so many gems to choose from but we think Barry Burton’s lockpicking quote has to be the worst offender. Master of unlocking just sounds so crazy. 3. Dynasty Warriors 3: “Fool. You challenge me with trickery. I don't believe in magic… onward!” The Dynasty Warriors series is more known for its hack-and-slash gameplay than its Oscar-winning scripts. However this quote from Dynasty Warriors 3 is ridiculous even by the series standards. The delivery makes it even more cringeworthy. 4. Tenchu: Stealth Assassin: “You shall die by my arrow!” / “Your arrows are like you, weak and twisted, I fear them NOT.” We love the script and story of the stealth series Tenchu…. NOT!!. Seriously the games have great gameplay but the scriptwriters should be punished for this terrible piece of dialog right before a boss fight. 5. "I'm the Lightbringer, I'm the Fucking Universe" - Alone in the Dark 2008 The ending of Alone in the Dark is responsible for giving us one of the worst quotes in gaming. It also doesn’t help that the voice-actor sounds like he drank a bottle of Vodka before pressing the record button. 6. "No. I like girls, but now... it's about justice." - Castle Shikigami 2 Castle Shikigami 2 had the terrible combo of Google Translate and programmers reading their own script. The entire exchange is so bizarre that even the greatest Otaku will burst out laughing. What an insane piece of dialog. 7. "What the foxtrot is happening here?" - Jurassic: The Hunted We get that the developers were trying to keep their T-rating for Jurassic: The Hunted. But replacing the f-word with Foxtrot is not good script writing. What the Foxtrot were they thinking? 8. "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIGHTTTT!!” - Devil May Cry To be fair, there's no dignified way to say a line like "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with light." However the voice crack at the end makes this terrible line somehow even funnier. What are some of the worst lines in gaming you’ve ever heard? 7 bizarre video game banning controversies

04:28
Sometimes video games get banned in certain countries. And while it usually concerns violent video games that cross the line, sometimes the reasons for banning a videogame aren’t that obvious and even downright ridiculous. Get ready for 7 bizarre video game banning controversies 1. Football Manager 2005 - China Football Manager 2005 isn’t an offensive or violent game at all, but it still got banned in China. This all happened because the game recognizes Tibet, Hong Kong and Taiwan as independent countries. The Chinese government claimed that the game threatened their “sovereignty and territorial integrity”. SEGA reacted by stating that it was never its intention to upset the Chinese government and that they would remove the countries from the Chinese version of the game. 2. EA Sports MMA - Denmark EA Sports used to make a pretty good fighting game called: EA Sports MMA. However the game wasn’t released in Denmark, because it contains marketing for energy drinks. In Denmark energy drinks like Red Bull and Monster are considered to be dangerous and it's forbidden to advertise them. EA reacted on the ban by stating that the energy drink sponsor deal is part of the perception of the sport and thus the game. With EA not patching the game, Denmark missed out on this one. 3. Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents under pressure - Australia Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure is a video game for PC, PS2 and Xbox in which you take down rival gangs by spraying paint all over the place. The game wasn’t given a rating in Australia, and therefore technically banned since it glorified the use of graffiti. Multimillionaire US fashion designer Marc Ecko responded by saying gaming is a misunderstood cultural movement that is not about “teaching illegal activities”. 4. Bully - Brazil Rockstar’s Bully gave many gamers a great virtual trip to their high school years, but unfortunately not in Brazil. The game got banned because of the fact that it takes place in a school and therefore could be potentially harmful for children and adults. Anyone caught selling the game has to pay a fine of a 1000 Brazilian real which is about 270 American dollars. 5. Spec Ops the Line - UAE Spec Ops The Line is a great game that takes the military shooter genre to new emotional heights since it also highlights the horrific side of war. At a certain point in the game a large part of the city of Dubai is destroyed. The United Arab Emirates probably didn’t like that aspect of the game since they banned it. They even blocked access to a pre-release demo 2K put out prior to the game’s release. Too bad cause it was a great game! 6. Medal of Honor - United States military bases The in 2010 released Medal of Honor was banned from 49 GameStop stores located on various US military bases around the world. However military personnel were allowed to play the game inside the base they just couldn’t buy it there. The controversy started because it was possible to play the role of the Taliban in the multiplayer mode. The US military said it didn’t want to sell the game out of respect for the men and women serving and their families. 7. Fallout 3 in Australia Right before release Fallout 3 was refused classification in Australia because it was accused of glorifying drug use. Back then the game had morphine as a health pick-up and that didn’t go over well with the Australian Ratings Board. Bethesda quickly changed the name to the more generic ‘Med-X’ and all was fine again in the land of the kangaroo. It would have been a shame if Australian gamers missed out on such an awesome game. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ZOOMIN.TV GAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Check out our Snapchat - zoomintvgames ► And our Instagram - zoomingames.ig ► We are on Twitch too!! http://www.twitch.tv/zoomintvgames ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ MUSIC AND AUDIO Music provided by Epidemic Sound. http://www.epidemicsound.com/youtube-creator-subscription/ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ PARTNERSHIPS Zoomin.TV offers Youtube partnerships to gamers who have an opinion about gaming or want to show their skills. Top 5 - Mario references in other games

04:20
Super Mario Bros. turned 30 yesterday and the plumber hasn't aged one bit. He has appeared in so many games over the last thirty years and some weren't even made by Nintendo! Here are our top 5 Mario references in other games! 5. Assassin's Creed 2 Do you remember the first words Mario ever uttered on the Nintendo 64? Ubisoft certainly remembers judging by this scene in Assassin's Creed 2. They made another reference with an achievement called "Principessa in Another Castello." Guess they just couldn't resist with a game that takes place in Mario's homeland. 4. Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission: Las Vegum is full of references to other games. And of course they also had to include a reference to everybody's favorite plumber. This poor Mario Sunshine knock-off is too ugly to live so we were glad they made him an enemy you could stomp. 3. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has a room themed after Mario, complete with a retro graphical style and warp pipes. The designers even put an Easter egg within the Easter egg! Just like the second level of the original Super Mario Bros. you can hop onto the ceiling to access the secret Warp Zone. And it has three treasure chests to boot! 2. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes The Gamecube game Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes had Amiibo way before Nintendo ever did. Snake could spot small figurines of Mario and Yoshi on top of a computer in a laboratory. Shoot Mario and you regain health. Shoot Yoshi and he just says his name. This just makes us wish that Amiibo would make sounds too! 1. Dying Light It looks like the Techland team is fond of a certain Nintendo property starring a moustached plumber. This Easter egg hidden within Dying Light whisks you away to a magical kingdom where you have to tackle a Mario Bros-themed level. First-person-Mario looks pretty awesome to be honest. Maybe this could be a launch game for the upcoming Nintendo NX? ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ZOOMIN.TV GAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Check out our Snapchat - zoomintvgames ► And our Instagram - zoomingames.ig ► We are on Twitch too!! http://www.twitch.tv/zoomintvgames ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ DOWNLOAD OUR APP NOW FOR FREE ■ iOS ► http://goo.gl/VFNxgj ■ Android ► http://goo.gl/8JQn05 ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ MUSIC AND AUDIO Music provided by Epidemic Sound. http://www.epidemicsound.com/youtube-creator-subscription/ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ABOUT US Zoomin.TV Games is the number one source for game related top five videos, but we do a lot more. Top 5 - Gaming controversies of 2015

04:33
The videogame business has had its fair share of controversies and commotion over the years. Everybody remembers PETA freaking out about Pokemon and the uproar about the San Andreas’ Hot Coffee Mod. In that perspective 2015 was relatively calm but there still was some nasty business. Here is our top 5 - Gaming controversies of the year! 5. Silent Hills and P.T. cancelled Once upon a time Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro would make a game called Silent Hills. Kojima and Del Toro even made a Playable Teaser with ‘Walking Dead’ actor Norman Reedus starring as the main character. Then all of a sudden publisher Konami decided to cancel the entire project. It was a big shock to horror fans and many gamers asked the question what the hell was going on over at Konami. 4. Deus Ex Pre-order Tiers Square-Enix had an original idea for the Deus Ex Pre-order campaign. A system where you could only pick one reward from each "tier", and more tiers would only be unlocked by more people preordering the game. The final tier even promised to release the game four days early. It made it impossible for gamers to get every rewards which led to many angry fans. Luckily Square-Enix quickly came to their senses and scrapped the whole thing. “We never asked for this” never felt more appropriated. 3. Batman Arkham Knight PC Almost everybody looked forward to Batman: Arkham Knight and upon release it seemed to be a pretty good game. Except for the PC-version, because that turned out to be a train-wreck riddled with bugs. It suffered from frame-dips and stutters, making the game almost unplayable. Rocksteady and Warner Bros. pulled the game from digital stores and later released a patch to repair the issues, but this didn’t help that much. The PC version is still such a mess that Warner Bros. is giving full refunds on both the game and the season pass. 2. Nintendo censoring their Western releases (Boobslider Xenoblade Chronicles X EU, NA & Fatal Frame outfits) Naughty Nintendo! The Japanese videogame giant secretly changed a couple of Western versions of games to make them less controversial. They minimalized the boobslider in the Western release of Xenoblade Chronicles X. They also removed the slutty outfits from the Western version of Fatal Frame on the Wii U. This definitely proves that Nintendo sees a big difference between what’s OK in Japan and what’s OK over here. 1.Konami vs Hideo Kojima Konami. It’s an understatement to say that 2015 wasn’t the best year for the Japanese software company. It almost fully withdrew itself from the console video game business and completely alienated superstar developer Hideo Kojima. Metal Gear Solid 5 is probably the best game Kojima has ever made and Konami thanked him for it by removing his name from the box. They even banned him from attending the Game Awards so he couldn’t pick up his award! That’s not how you treat a former employee and company legend, Konami! Shame on you! ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ZOOMIN.TV GAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Check out our Snapchat - zoomintvgames ► And our Instagram - zoomingames.ig ► We are on Twitch too!! http://www.twitch.tv/zoomintvgames ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ MUSIC AND AUDIO Music provided by Epidemic Sound. http://www.epidemicsound.com/youtube-creator-subscription/ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ ABOUT US Zoomin.TV Games is the number one source for game related top five videos, but we do a lot more. 6 great fan made games that got shot down by publishers

05:13
Fandom comes in all shapes and sizes. It starts with a poster on your wall, buying figurines and memorizing every quote from a game. Sometimes it ends with building your own games based on the original I.P. Of course this does not always fare well with the license holders. So, here are 6 fan made games that got shot down by game publishers and their lawyers thanks to a cease and desist letter. 1. Zelda 30 Tribute Earlier this year amateur developers made a three dimensional voxel version of the original The Legend of Zelda. This was all playable in your browser thanks to the power of Javascript, but of course it was just a fragment of the original game. It wasn’t done yet. The fans made the game as a tribute to its 30 year anniversary, but a few days after its release Nintendo sent the feared Cease and Desist letter. It didn’t take long before the game was pulled offline. 2. Chrono Trigger 2 Chrono Trigger is one of the most beloved JRPGs ever made. Despite the game getting official ports on many platforms, Square Enix never actually released a direct sequel. Fan driven Kajar Laboratories build a game to would cover the story between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. After five years of development, creating 35 hours of gameplay and 10 different endings, Square Enix notified its lawyers in May 2009. The sequel you always wanted, was no more. And over the years Square Enix has been sending lots of the Cease and Desist letters to protect their Chrono Trigger brand. Chrono Trigger Resurrection, Chrono Trigger: Prophet’s Guile and Retranslation of Chrono Trigger are just a few examples of non profit fan made games that got shot down by Square Enix. 3. Fighting is Magic (My Little Pony) The community surrounding My Little Pony is one of the most creative communities out there. There has even been a well made documentary about Bronies. So it should come as no surprise that a fan made game popped up as well. Fighting is Magic was a 2D fighting game that helped raise 200 thousand dollars for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This didn’t stop Hasbro from taking it down though. However the game lives on and is now called Them’s Fightin’ Herds. It should be out in April 2017. 4. Streets of Rage Remake After eight years of work on a massive remake of the original Streets of Rage, it contained 100 stages, 19 playable characters and a massive soundtrack. It would have been an amazing tribute to the great brawler that is Street of Rage. But Sega did not agree. Not only did SEGA send a cease and desist to the Spanish studio Bomber Link, they also canceled their own remake of the classic action game. What a bummer. 5. Metal Gear remake The story of this fan made Metal Gear remake is even more dramatic. A group was making a remake to the 1987 original and got a blessing from Konami to move forward with development. David Hayter even jumped in and did some voice work for their trailer. Even though the game was never made for profit, Konami had a sudden change of mind and a few months later canned the entire project. 6. PokeNet The Pokemon community has been asking for a solid Pokemon MMO for years now. Leave it to the fans to fill this void. And to Nintendo to immediately take them down. PokeNet was shut down by Nintendo’s lawyers several years ago. The same goes for other Pokemon projects like Pokemon Global and Pokemonium. Right now your go-to game for online Pokemon adventures would be PokeMMO, until they shut this one down too of course. Do you guys like fan made games? 6 hidden hot moments in modern games

04:30
In this video we'll show how many developers like to hide naughty easter egss inside their games. Get ready for 6 hidden hot moments in modern games! 1. Real Life Phone Line In The Last Of Us You wouldn’t expect a easter egg in the dark and gritty The Last of Us. However some of the phone numbers in the game turned out to be active phone lines in real life. Developer Naughty Dog called it a mistake and quickly patched it out of a the game. We bet somebody got there ass kicked over this ‘mistake’. 2. Metal Gear Solid 4's Photo Shoots Metal Gear Solid 4 has a very hot easter egg when it comes to fighting the different 'Beauty and the Beast' bosses. If you run away from them while they are in their human form you will be teleported to a white room. Here you can take a bunch of photos as they strike different poses for you. It’s like you’re playing Metal Gear Solid’s Next Top Model. 3. Ratchet & Clank 2 Boob Growth You wouldn’t expect to find a easter egg hidden inside a kid’s game but here we are. Ratchet & Clank 2 has a female alien that really likes to see Ratchet doing sideflips. She likes it so much that certain body parts grow bigger each time he does one. Can you believe the developers got away with this? 4. Assassin’s Creed III MILF talk If you visit Ben Franklin in Assassin’s Creed 3 you can get into a conversation about his obsession with mature women. There is about 5 minutes of dialog of him explaining how much one of America’s Founding Fathers loves older ladies. We can’t wait to play the spinoff game Ben Franklin: Hunter! 5. Amanda GTA 5 Grand Theft Auto 5 has a very funny easter egg that reminds players while it’s always a good idea to lock their bedroom door. As Michael you can walk in on your wife as she’s doing something rather private. Awkward to say the least. 6. Borderlands 2 Mad Moxxi's gun controller vibration There is a gun in Borderlands 2 called Miss Moxxi’s Good Touch that you can get by tipping up to fifteen thousand bucks at her bar. With the Good Touch equipped your controller will vibrate at a low level even when you’re not firing it. You can even control the vibration strength by zooming in and out. Just remember to lock your door if you decide to use it! Did you know more hidden hot moments in games? Let us know in the comments. Top 5 - Horrible ads in gaming

04:10
Don't you just hate media that is packed to the brim with obvious adverts and shameful paid-for product placements? It's annoying enough in television and film. But when video games do it? Urgh, it's the worst! So we're making it our job to shame the very worst offenders of this grim practice, like UPS in the new South Park game. But before we crack on... fancy a cola? 5. CSI: Fatal Conspiracy - Trend Micro and ASUS Of all the product placement shaming in this list, this one is perhaps the most irritating. And that's because of how absurd and desperate the promotion comes across. The ASUS stuff is icky enough, but booting up the lab computer starts a five-second virus scan with Trend Micro plastered all over it. They even have the audacity to name drop the wretched thing at one point. Urgh. 4. Alan Wake - Mustang and Verizon This one is shocking on so many different levels. But worst of all is that it completely wrecks the game's narrative. Alan's world is falling apart and the electrics are going nuts. Yet they can still put two full-length commercials on an in-game television? Oh, c'mon! You'd think they'd have at least branded the torch. Hmm. Probably best to not give them any ideas for Alan Wake 2. 3. Pepsi Invaders - Coca-Cola You're probably wondering why this particular entry isn't in first place, what with the game itself being one big product placement. And that's because it was a huge epic fail and backfiring on their part. Coke wanted to show which brown beverage was best, but they effectively ended up advertising rival Pepsi as a force even more dominant than themselves. Oh dear. 2. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - AXE, Doritos, Mountain Dew and more (?!) The Metal Gear Solid series is no stranger to featuring real-life objects in its games. But we can't help but do a double-take in disbelief at the very sight of the absurdity of this. Never did we think we'd ever see Metal Gear Solid doing a Geoff Keighley, but boy were we wrong. For a series with such solid integrity, we can't help but be disappointed with Kojima Productions for this. 1. Fight Night Round 3 - The Burger King Some product placements live in the background, hoping for players to catch a quick glimpse. Some are overt, but not always annoyingly so. But the Burger King? This plastic ponse bops around like a wannabe gangster because you're forced to take notice. And he wants you to eat Burger King, just like all the world-class boxers obviously do. This one is immensely unsettling. ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Or like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Tara's channel - http://www.youtube.com/modeltarababcock Download our live app Zive ► Android - http://bit.ly/1ktZbLP ► iOS - http://bit.ly/1gOrLlx Zoomin.TV Games is a Youtube Channel Network with lots of videos about gaming. Top 5 - Old dudes in gaming

05:09
There are not many senior citizens in the world of gaming. But the guys on this list prove that being a badass doesn't always have to be a young man's game. Put your rocking chair in a comfortable position and get ready for the top 5 old dudes! 5. Sam Fisher - Splinter Cell: Conviction It took five Splinter Cell titles to turn Sam Fisher into an old badass and there’s no turning back now. Sam Fisher has never been a more interesting character than in Splinter Cell: Conviction. His daughter is dead, he’s extremely pissed, and it’s time to see if he can get his revenge on everyone whose wronged him. We bet on him succeeding. 4. Max Payne - Max Payne 3 Max Payne is also no stranger to misery in Max Payne 3. The years of drinking and popping pills have made him more world-weary and cynical than ever before. But he can still pump rounds into paramilitary faces and that's really all that matters . Besides this older version of Max delivers every line with the just the right amount of self loathing. 3. Joel - The Last of Us Without going into spoilers it's safe to say that Joel has also seen his fair share of sadness in The Last of Us. Boy does it suck to grow old in gaming… Anyway, he has become a ruthless grizzled man in his late forties that will do anything to protect young Ellie in a world full of fungal zombies. He's the ass kicking father figure we all wish we had. 2. Ezio Auditore da Firenze - Assassin's Creed: Revelations Ezio is the first old guy on this list that's actually happy. Like a renaissance George Clooney the years have made him even more charming to the ladies in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. And after three games, this aging assassin has nothing left to prove as he gets stuff done and still gets the girl in the end. Ezio might be old but he's still our favourite assassin in the entire series. 1. Old Snake - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots It wasn‘t until Metal Gear Solid 4 that Solid Snake’s glorious mullet turned gray and he grew a moustache that would make even Burt Reynold’s jealous. But MGS 4 was also when Solid Snake matured into being the ultimate badass. Old Snake goes through some unbelievable abuse trying to save the world with his rapidly aging body failing him all the time. But he never ever complains about it and that alone makes him our number one old dude in gaming. Top 5 - Shocking character redesigns

05:11
Some people never change their looks. Even after 30 years Super Mario still looks fashionable in his red overalls and his 80s porn mustache. But not all game characters keep the same look forever. Let’s have a look at the Top 5 most shocking character redesigns in video game history. 5. Prince of Persia - Prince of Persia: Warrior Within The Prince of Persia was an adventurous young guy trying to save a princess. In all the games up until The Sands of Time he was a pretty happy looking prince. And then Ubisoft changed his whole attitude and turned him into a dark, grim douche bag. The tone of Warrior Within was such a big U-turn, it really struck a nerve with the most dedicated fans. 4. Sonic - Sonic Boom The Sonic the Hedgehog series has been a troubled one ever since SEGA stopped producing its own consoles. Our blue hedgehog with an attitude has had many different looks over the years. But one of the worst makeovers came with Sonic Boom. Tape around his shoes? A scarf around his neck? And… BLUE ARMS? Hey Sega, does he also listen to One Direction? No wonder the game blew. 3. Lara Croft - Tomb Raider 2013 A shocking character redesign doesn’t always have to be for the worst. For years Lara Croft was this busty, sexy, adventure chick. She was the personification of sexiness in gaming. But with the Tomb Raider reboot we got a completely new Lara. Younger, more vulnerable, less endowed in the chest region, more emotional, but still pretty as ever. 2. Bomberman - Bomberman Act Zero Bomberman used to be a great character. His expressionless face and big happy eyes are just super cute. And suddenly there was Konami’s need to appeal to the western market, which resulted in the abomination called Bomberman Act Zero. This is perhaps the WORST redesign ever on this list… but it was not the most shocking one. Before we reach the most shocking character redesign, first some honorable mentions. - Rad Spencer was a real 80s game hero in Bionic Commando, but became very generic in the most recent remake. - Capcom seems to abandon Mega Man, and his representation in Street Fighter X Tekken is surely helping to achieve that. - Pac-Man has seen so many redesigns to appeal to a new audience. But a Pac-Man with teeth and an attitude like in Pac-Man Ghostly Adventures was just a bad idea. And now to the most shocking character redesign ever… 1. Dante - DmC: Devil May Cry During the PS2 era Dante was a character known for his bad ass attitude. His white hair added an extra flavor to the already stylised game character. But all this changed when Capcom and game studio Ninja Theory gave him a makeover. Dante now has short dark hair and looks like a member of One Direction. The internet exploded. Friendships were broken. Gamers vowed never to buy a Capcom game ever again. Do you like any of the character redesigns on this list? Five good reasons why - We are hyped for Oculus Rift

03:39
The Oculus Rift is easily one of the most exciting things that has happened to gaming in recent years. The fact that Sony is working on a similar headset under the code name project Morpheus really shows that VR is about to become mainstream very soon. Here are five good reasons why we are hyped for the Oculus Rift. 5. It's affordable Right now you can buy an Oculus Rift dev kit for around three hundred dollars. That's dirt cheap for a futuristic headset that can display stereoscopic 3D and offers head tracking. If the consumer model manages to stay under three hundred dollars it would make VR affordable for a large number of people. 4. Strong third party support What good is a new gaming platform without games? Luckily it seems that the Oculus Rift will hit the ground running with strong third party support. Industry giants like Valve and Epic Games are backing the device and integrated support with Unreal Engine opens the doors for many other developers. And now that Facebook has bought Oculus VR it will get the exposure and funding this new technology needs to succeed. 3. It works, it actually works! We all had are hearts broken by virtual reality in the nineties. It was considered to be the next big thing thanks to movies like The Lawnmower Man and hardware like Nintendo's Virtual Boy. It was complete crap. But the super low latency, crisp display and stereoscopic 3D of the Oculus Rift will instantly heal those emotional scars. Technology has finally come far enough to deliver on the VR promise that was set in the nineties. 2. VR gaming is the ultimate immersion The Oculus Rift is able to take 3D gaming to the next level by letting players immerse themselves into their favorite video games like never before. We can't wait to put on the headset and actually feel like we are part of the game world. Oculus Rift has the ability to give you a level of immersion games on TV's will never be able to do. 1. The possibilities are endless Games are going to be awesome on the Oculus Rift but that's just the beginning. Imagine watching a movie like Gravity and being able to actually look around in those amazing point of view shots. Or imagine a virtual concert where you standing next to your favorite artist. And of course porn will never be same but let's not go into that right now. The thing is that the Oculus Rift has to possibility to change the way we experience media forever and that's pretty exciting. ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Or like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Tara's channel - http://www.youtube.com/modeltarababcock ► TamTu's channel - http://www.youtube.com/blogtu ► Give us some feedback and influence our E3 coverage!! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1BJJjRVSmPcU7aQ5Vv5htee4fthQMo5MCwPWNzuz9fn4/viewform Download our live app Zive ► Android - http://bit.ly/1ktZbLP ► iOS - http://bit.ly/1gOrLlx Partner Videos Used ✔ - jacksepticeye - https://www.youtube.com/user/jacksepticeye Music provided by ♫ - [Electro] - Pegboard Nerds - Disconnected [Monstercat Release] Licensed by Monstercat: http://youtube.com/MonstercatMedia Zoomin.TV Games is a Youtube Channel Network with lots of videos about gaming. Five good reasons why - We love cheats in gaming

03:37
Cheats hardly exist anymore these days thanks to the invention of Achievements and Trophies. But back in the day almost every game had a few awesome cheats. Here are five good reasons why we love cheats. 1. Cheats let you break a game Nothing is more fun than to completely break a game with some truly ridiculous cheats. We especially love opening up the console menu in shooters. Sometimes you just want to turn on invincibility, equip the biggest gun, get unlimited ammo and blast your way through hordes of enemies. Cheats let you do just that. 2. Cheats make life a little easier Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. If that sequence brings back memories, consider yourself a true gamer. The Konami Code made life a lot easier by giving you 30 lives in a lot of games. But we love more modern time saving cheats too. We used the ROSEBUD money code in The Sims to build our dream house. And instantly unlocked all songs in a Guitar Hero. Who has the time to actually earn all that stuff legitimately? 3. Cheats extend the life of a game Cheats are a great way to extend the life of a game. After you've beat the game and have nothing left to do, you can use cheats and just mess around for hours. Who hasn't used cheats in GTA for all the best vehicles and weapons with all the cops chasing you? And Skyrim won't be anywhere near as fun without cheats. 4. Cheats add mystery to gaming Like we've shown you in your top 5 myths in gaming, cheats add a lot of mystery to our favourite pastime. Back in the nineties school lunch breaks were used to discuss the existence of a blood code for Mortal Kombat and the infamous nude cheat for Tomb Raider. Sure the internet has made fact checking a lot easier these days but we still like the mysterious element cheats add to gaming. 5. Cheats reveal funny secrets Cheats let you unlock all sorts of funny secrets developers have put in their games. Like the badass assassin turkey you can get by punching in a code in AC3. Or the cheat in Goldeneye that let's you shoot paintball bullets. Or the cheat in Saint's Row The Third that turns everybody into pimps and ho's. Or all the weird cheats for the NBA Jam games. You get it: cheats let you do all sorts of crazy stuff and that's why we think they are awesome. ► Follow us on Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/zoomingames ► Or like us on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/zoomingames ► Tara's channel - http://www.youtube.com/modeltarababcock ► Zoomin.TV Creators - https://www.youtube.com/user/ZoominTVCreators Download our live app Zive ► Android - http://bit.ly/1ktZbLP ► iOS - http://bit.ly/1gOrLlx Music provided by ♫ - Rootkit - Real Love (feat. Top 5 - Female voice actors

04:58
The voice of a game hero can make or break a character. That's why developers are always looking for exceptional voice talent to make their creations even more awesome. In this Top 5 we take a look at the five best female voice actors. 5. Grey DeLisle - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Grey DeLisle is a seasoned voice actress who landed a gig in Diablo 3 as the Female Wizard.... She also played the brash Dalish elven mage Velanna in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. Her role in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is our favourite however. The way she voices Therese and Jeanette is one of the most memorable parts of the game. 4. Tara Strong - Batman: Arkham City Tara Strong has done voice-work for a lot of different games. Ranging from Rikku in Final Fantasy X ... to Paz Ortega in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.... But we love her most as Harley Quinn in Batman: Arkham City.... and who can forget her role as the cute airhead Juliet Starling in Lollipop Chainsaw.... The woman is a voice acting veteran. 3. Jen Taylor - Halo series We all love the voice of Master Chief in Halo but let's not forget his female sidekick Cortana. Jen Taylor has been the voice of Master Chief's A.I. since the first game. Every conversation between the Chief and Cortana has been music to our ears. Taylor plays an especially big role in Halo 4 as Cortana slowly descends into madness.... Great stuff. 2. Ellen McLain - Portal & Portal 2 The Portal series wouldn't be the same without the steely-voiced supercomputer GLaDOS. The rogue A.I. is voiced by opera singer and voice actress Ellen McLain. She does an amazing job with her deadpan delivery of some really funny lines... And who can forget the credit song? McLain even helped a gamer who build a custom level to propose to his girlfriend... She said yes by the way. 1. Jennifer Hale - Mass Effect 2 & 3 With over a hundred roles in games so far Jennifer Hale is easily the most recognizable female voice actor out there. Hale has voiced characters like Bastila Shan in Knights of the Old Republic ... and Naomi Hunter in Metal Gear.... We love the work she did in the Mass Effect series the most however. She made playing a Femshep extremely awesome with her low, commanding and sultry voice... We love it! Top 5 - Gangstas in gaming

04:56
There's has been some confusion surrounding our Top 5 Gangsters video from last week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW0PwDrRNuc This list was based on more traditional gangsters. The True O.G. so to say. But we are not blind or deaf. You guys want drug dealing, gang banging street thugs? We're giving them to you! This is the Top 5 Modern Gangstas! 05. 50 Cent The days that In Da Club and Candy Shop were big hits are long behind us. But back in 2009 Fiddy was still smoking hot and that's when blood hit the sand. In his game mister cent had to ice the terrorists that took his crystal skull. Cause that's what happens when you mess with a P.I.M P, dog. 04. Kazuma Kiryu Being part of the Japanese yakuza makes Kazuma an instant bad-ass. But he's also a "nice guy" who raises orphans [...] and flirts with the ladies. Kazuma took the blame for the assassination on his boss to protect his friend. He's released from jail ten years later only to be hunted by the Dojima Family. Luckily this gangster knows how to deal with assholes. 03. Tommy Vercetti Tommy Vercetti left prison at the age of 35 after being convicted for murder. He moves to Vice City and starts working for his former employers, the Forelli family. Tommy slowly moves away from the family to build his own criminal empire. Like a real gangster this guy goes from being a small fish to the kingpin of Vice City. 02. Johnny Gat Johnny Gat voluntarily joined the Third Street Saints to bring peace to Stillwater but turned out to have an obsession with blood shed. Johnny destroyed the Vice Kings gang and almost got the electric chair for the murder of 387 people. He also buried the leader of the Ronin gang alive and robbed a bank wearing a mask with the portrait of his own face. Johnny, you're straight up gangsta. 01. Carl "C.J." Johnson Of course we had to pick C.J. from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as the number one gangster. The story of Carl Johnson is about an underdog who rises to the top. It's full of ups and downs, drugs, violence and betrayal. CJ came from the gutter but in the end turned out to be the biggest modern gangster in gaming. Grove Street For Life, son!
