Welcome to my guide for how to kill Plantera. I defeated Plantera with this method on expert mode so it works just as well on normal. The best gear for this fight is Chlorophyte armor and a megashark, if you have a different class setup then go ahead and use what you want. Twitter: https://twitter.com/Chrome_Hex *Script* What's up guys, Chrome Hex here. So, Plantera is a bit harder than the mechanical bosses were and you don't really get any new higher level gear from killing them, so you're stuck using pretty much the same stuff. However there's no need to worry, I'll be showing you guys the method I used to kill Plantera. I won't be listing the gear you'll be using in this video because I already listed it in my mechanical boss guides. If you feel like you're underprepared for Plantera go ahead and watch my other guides and make sure you have the gear that I mentioned in those videos like hallowed armor and a megashark. Otherwise you should be good to go. To summon Plantera you need to smash a pink bulb that spawns in the jungle after you've beaten all three mechanical bosses. However there are some things you should know when you summon it. First off, you need to stay below ground, you cannot spawn Plantera and then go to an above/ground arena. Once you get above a certain level Plantera will go into some sort of super-saiyan mode and will one shot you, so that's no good. You need to make your arena underground. Second, when you spawn plantera you need to stay in the area you spawned it in until you see it. If you get too far from Plantera it will despawn, which actually happened to me a couple times before I was able to fight it. This means you'll either want to build your arena on top of a pink bulb, or you'll need to make some sort of tunnel from the bulb, to your arena. Plantera isn't too quick but you definitely don't want to get caught by it. When you make your arena you should know by now that you need a large open area with platforms to jump on. You'll want to knock out the background with a hammer so that Plantera can't grab onto the walls in its second form. You should also have a campfire, a heart lantern, and Heart statues are great too. So once you spawn Plantera make sure you buff. The best way to dodge plantera is by going in circles around it. It continuously spits leafs at you so you need to keep moving. Plantera's second phase makes it a lot harder to circle so you need to just dodge as well as you can and deal as much damage as you can because you'll start taking quite a bit of damage. Using an obsidian shield that prevents knockback is useful for this stage, especially on expert mode. Well now that you've killed Plantera you can go ahead and open the jungle temple and think about killing the golem or you can head over to the dungeon and check out the new, harder enemies like the Paladin. I hope this guide helps you guys out, if you found this helpful or enjoyed it at all, leave a like, sub, and share the video with your friends so they can get better and you guys can win a ton of games! Twitter: https://twitter.com/Chrome_Hex *Script* What's up guys Chrome Hex here. In this video I'll be going over the 5 things that I think are most important to playing Fortnite just like the pros. Tip number 1: Build high and build fast. You've seen Myth do it, you've seen Summit do it, and you've seen Ninja do it. Getting the height advantage over your opponent quickly is pretty much the key to winning your battles in Fortnite. Having the height advantage allows you to control pretty much everything about the fight. You can control the pace and range. If you need to slow down the fight to heal all you need to do is stop peeking, it takes them much longer to climb up to you than it takes you to jump down to them. Staying high will also allow you to keep it long-range, but you can also jump in and go for a short-range shotgun battle. You'll also want to make sure that you build fast. This is important for when someone catches you off guard. The faster you react and build, the less damage you'll take initially when you get jumped. Tip number 2: Pick your fights carefully. When you play Fortnite you might think you should just kill everyone you see, but this isn't always the best idea. You should never try to pick a fight with someone where you will already be at a disadvantage. For example, when the enemy already has the high ground. Also you shouldn't pick fights without the appropriate weapons. Don't take a long-range fight when you have short-range weapons and vice-versa, it wont go well for you. To do well in Fortnite make sure to only take fights that you're confident that you can win. Tip number 3: Jump spotting. You've probably seen the good Fortnite players doing this as well. This is when you're running and you jump, and while in the air you look around, then turn back to the direction you were running before you land. When you do this you keep all of your speed, but you're able to look at your surroundings. Also, doing this makes it much harder for someone to hit you if they happen to see you before you see them. Once you start doing this it will become something that you just automatically always do. Tip number 4: Know where to land. If you want to survive through the early game you obviously wouldn't want to land Tilted Towers. This is because of how risky it is to land there. Places that are large and closer to the center of the map are risky. So places like Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, Salty Springs are all pretty risky, but if you're confident you can come out on top then theres a lot of potential loot. Smaller places or places on the edge of the map are less risky like Junk Junction and Tomato Town, but they also have less loot. Places with a lot of loot on the edge of the map will still be high-risk areas such as Snobby Shores and Lucky Landing. Learning the high-risk places to land can be very important to your late game survival. Tip number 5: Practice your aim. Probably the most obvious aspect to good Fortnite players is their really good aim. Long-range snipes, medium-range spray downs, shotgun flicks, you name it. Now don't get me wrong when I say this, because I'm not saying that its impossible to be a good console player, but your aim really suffers when you play on a controller. It's just a fact that its harder to have fast aim with a controller than with a mouse and keyboard. Using a controller bottlenecks your aim, but it really is up to you. To improve your aim you really just need to play a lot. Experience with aim on other games can help you out, like my aim comes from the 1900 hours I have on CSGO. Just play a lot and your aim will get better over time. Alright that's gonna wrap it up, I really hope you guys enjoyed this video, I spent a lot of time making this list so if it did help you out, please leave a like and share the video to your friends so they can get better and you guys can win some games. I'll see you guys in my next video, peace.
