The Ultimate Guide To Vegan B12 Sources

10:01
Konniche wah, GojiMan here. Its good to see all your smiling faces again. In todays vlog I give you the Ultimate Guide To vegan b12 sources all the way from sunny Cornwall. Now a lot of this information you won’t have heard before so you aren’t going to want to miss this. Roll the titles. If this is our first time meeting, hello. I vlog on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on vegan health and nutrition. I am currently just finishing a masters in nutrition and qualifying as a nutritionist and next year I will be doing a Phd in nutritional science. So hit that subscribe button, hit that bell notification and make me a happy smiling vegan! So lets get to the video. Vitamin B12 (also known as cobalamin) is critical in the body. It plays a pivotal role in DNA synthesis, blood and bone health, heart health, detoxification as well as being critical in the maintenance of your nervous system and brain health. Although rare, long term severe b12 deficiency can lead to anemia, paralysis and even death, so you want to ensure that you get enough B12 to ensure optimal health. A common B12 myth is that since b12 is found in meat, dairy and egg products, you have to eat these products or you will run into deficiency. It is also suggested that b12 proves that we were born to eat meat. It is really important for your health though to understand that animals do not make B12. It is made by microorganisms living in the soil and water. So simply put, B12 is made by bacteria. B12 is found in animal products because they eat grass, plants and small amounts of soil that contain B12. This B12 is then swallowed by the animal and then deposited in their muscles. In years gone by, humans got their sources of vitamin B12 in the same way. Our ancestors would spend hours every day foraging for fruits and vegetables that were pulled from the ground and contained sufficient levels of B12. If they were thirsty then they would drink well water that contained B12. Fast forward to today and these same fruits and vegetable are sprayed with every type of pesticide/herbicide possible and washed within an inch of their lives. Tap water is also heavily chlorinated. So the traditional and optimal sources of B12 have been obliterated. Vegans therefore need to find alternative sources. Before supplementing, everyone should look at getting tested for B12 levels. But it doesn’t just stop there. You need to test for B12 in conjunction with homocysteine and serum folate. And let me explain why. Firstly you need to ensure you have B12 levels are in the range of 600ng/l or above. The reason for this is there is not enough circulating B12 in your tissues, or enough serum folate, then a troublesome molecule called homocysteine is able to build up. And this is something you really want to avoid at all costs. Homocysteine damages artery walls and allows plaque formation. The net result of this is heart attacks and strokes. So please please please never listen to anyone who says that heart attacks are simply cause by eating meat, dairy and eggs. This is why I always recommend that people test for b12, homocysteine and serum folate at the same time because it gives you a true picture of what’s actually happening in your body. Your homocysteine score will tell you if your B12 and folate levels are adequate and vice versa. Testing for just B12 will not give you a true picture. Ideally homocysteine should be below 12 micromols/L. If it is above this coupled with low b12 levels then you know your body is not getting adequate sources of b12. You will therefore need to increase b12 supplentation intake. If your folate levels are also low then consume dark leafy greens on a daily basis and then retest all levels after three months. I would suggest that you retest after 3 months after starting to optimise your b12, homocysteine and folate levels to ensure your body is absorbing ok. If not then you could have an absorption problem…… but that is a topic for another video. Once you have everything optimised then I would advise testing b12, homocysteine and folate levels on a yearly basis. The best source will be dependent on your needs and your genetics. There is no one size that fits all. I personally take a supplement every day. Before I tell you which one and why let me break down your options. There are 4 types of b12: cyanocobalamin, hydroxycabalamin, methylcobalamin adenosylcobalamin Cyanocobalamin is least expensive and most stable (so doesn’t degrade as quick on the shelf), but there are concerns around that fact that it releases a small amount of cyanide as it is metabolised in the body. Cyanocobalamin and hydroxycobalamin are forms of b12 that can also be difficult for people to convert into the active forms of B12 if they have the homozygous MTHFR mutation. You need MTHFR enzymes to produce the active form.

Ben Fuchs: Nutrients Vegans & Vegetarians Tend To Miss

None the less, if you are a vegetarian or vegan, you've got to keep in mind that you are going to be missing key nutrients. Unless, you go out of your way to get them. ...Vitamin b12 is only found in animal foods, but it's not really made by animals. Bacteria, which are neither animal nor plant, make vitamin b12." "...If you're only eating vegetables, it's very likely you're going to be deficient in Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important for nerves, it's important for blood. It's an incredibly important vitamin. In fact, Vitamin B12 is the most potent of all the vitamins. It's the only vitamin that is dosed in these tiny "micro-gram" doses." "...Our gut bacteria makes some Vitamin B12, but because Vitamin B12 is absorbed in the small intestine, by the time the bacteria make it, it's downstream from where the absorption takes place." "...So the best way to get Vitamin B12 is from your food. If you're a vegetarian, then your stuck with supplementing or you can use fortified nutritional yeast. ...There's another really good source for Vitamin B12 for vegetarians, this is one that all vegetarians should be eating, and that's seaweed, specifically Nori seaweed." What Happens When You Overdose On Vitamins?

04:17
Meal Planning Mastery: http://mealplanningmastery.com Free Meal Plan: http://nutritionandfitness.net/free-meal-plan/ Books: http://www.amazon.com/author/felixharder -----BLOG & SOCIAL MEDIA----- Blog: http://nutritionandfitness.net Facebook Group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/1144573178965883/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/simplemuscle Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nutritionandfitnessnet/ DESCRIPTION We all know that the right intake of vitamins is crucial for health and fitness. But if you have ever taken a vitamin supplement you might have asked yourself: Can you take too much of them or even overdose? The answer is a clear yes, but since they are not all equally processed by the body you are more likely to overdose on some than others. There are some vitamins that are easily stored in the body, and if you consume too much of them you will notice the effects. On the other hand, some vitamins are not stored that easily, and you will just pee out any excess intake. Which vitamins are you most likely to overdose? All vitamins are either fat-soluble or water-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins are processed and stored along with fat, which is also why it makes sense to take them along with a meal. Your body will then use these stores when it needs them. Vitamins A, D, E, and K are fat-soluble, and if you get more of them than you need your body will accumulate them in your fat tissue. Water-soluble vitamins, which include vitamin C and all the B vitamins, are not so easily stored in the body and therefore if you consume a large amount of them you will usually pee out everything your body doesn’t need. That’s why it’s a lot more common to overdose on fat-soluble vitamins than on water-soluble vitamins (with a few exceptions, which I will get into in a second). So, what are the symptoms of a vitamin overdose? This really depends on the individual vitamin, which is why I want to present you the most important ones now. Let’s start with vitamin A. Vitamin A Overdose Usually, a vitamin A overdose happen slowly and over time. Some initial signs include dry skin, hair loss and cracked lips. If you keep going, you would experience irritability, headache and your liver would start to suffer. Now, if for some weird reason you took a huge amount of vitamin A, there is such a thing as an acute vitamin A overdose. Here, symptoms would be very severe and you would start puking, your head would hurt like crazy and you could potentially die. But don’t worry, the only time this could happen besides excessive supplementation, would be if you ate the liver of certain animals – including the polar bear or walrus – which you probably won’t eat unless you are an Eskimo. Vitamin B Overdose Next on the list are the B vitamins. Even though they are water soluble, a few of them can be problematic in large amounts. For example, a vitamin B6 overdose can cause nerve damage, too much B3 can lead to nausea and too much folic acid (or vitamin b9) can cause breathing problems. Vitamin D Overdose Then we have vitamin D. Overdoses on vitamin D are extremely rare, especially because most of us are actually deficient in it, but it’s still possible. Too much vitamin D can cause acute vomiting and diarrhea and if taken over longer periods of time you can run into kidneys and heart problems. But we are talking about doses of around 50,000 IU per day here. This is more than 20 times what your usual vitamin D supplement will have. The Real Danger – Iron Overdose Now that we went through the most important overdoses of vitamins, there is one mineral I have to talk about because unlike most vitamin overdoses this one is actually pretty common. Probably the most widely known and the most dangerous overdose is an iron overdose. Of course, the body needs iron for the production of red blood cells, but an iron overdose can actually kill you. It doesn’t happen often in adults, but for young children and infants it’s a problem. That’s because iron is one of the few minerals we cannot eliminate unless we lose blood. So excessive supplementation will lead to accumulations in the body. Of course, all this is not meant to scare you. As with everything in nutrition, there is a fine line between the ideal dose and too much or too little. Supplements can really increase your quality of life and are an important part of a well-rounded diet. But since there is a fine line between taking the right amount for your health and taking too much, your best bet is to go see a doctor and get your levels checked. Don’t just buy something and take massive amounts of it, before talking to a specialist. Vitamin B12 Deficiency Explained

03:05
Vitamin B12, also called cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that is involved in the metabolism of every cell of the human body: it is a cofactor in DNA synthesis, and in both fatty acid and amino acid metabolism. It is particularly important in the normal functioning of the nervous system via its role in the synthesis of myelin (myelinogenesis), and in the maturation of developing red blood cells in the bone marrow. Vitamin B12 is one of eight B vitamins; it is the largest and most structurally complicated vitamin. It consists of a class of chemically related compounds (vitamers), all of which show physiological activity. It contains the biochemically rare element cobalt (chemical symbol Co) positioned in the center of a planar tetra-pyrrole called a corrin ring. Only certain bacteria, notably such as the normal gut bacteria in ruminates, and archaea, synthesize hydroxocobalamin: not fungi, plants, or animals, including humans. Conversion to the other three forms of the vitamin occurs in the ruminates after absorption and transport to inside cells.

Is Your Fiber Making You Fat?

04:49
Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis SIBO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQESlxQKIm8 Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 In this video, Dr. Berg answers the question is your fiber making you fat. Fiber is a carbohydrate, however it doesn’t have a direct effect on the blood sugars and you can’t even digest it. The benefit of the vegetable fiber is turning the microbes into a healthy fat called butyrate. Butyrate reduces insulin resistance that can help you lose weight. Low amounts of microbes causes you to gain weight and the combination of low microbes in the gut and fiber could cause bloating, gas and other issues. He also talks about several causes of low microbes and the condition called SIBO or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Vegetable Fibers Benefits: • Vitamins • Minerals • Trace minerals • Butyrate • B Vitamins • Buffer pH • Phytonutrients Functions of Bile: • Helps prevent fatty liver • Helps with lowering blood sugars and improving insulin resistance So I have another question, is your fiber making you fat? Realize that fiber is a carbohydrate however it doesn't have enough direct effect on blood sugars and can't even digest it it's not even for you, it's for your microbes so the benefit of vegetable fiber when that's what I recommend, is that the microbes turn lit into this natural healthy fat called butyrate and butyrate actually reduces insulin resistance and which means it's gonna lower insulin which means it's gonna help you lose weight just from that one effect right here. Also, microbes will make B vitamins which will help in other ways. The vegetable fibers that you consume from your salad give you vitamins, minerals and trace minerals, and those are all absorbed in the small intestine, the butyrate in the large intestine from the microbes, B vitamins, also the vegetable fiber buffers the pH from the like the meats that you consume that are acidic so we have that buffer effect and also you get phytonutrients from vegetables as well. In theory, the fiber should help you lose weight. However, here's the problem, if you have low amounts of microbes that is the thing that is going to cause you to gain weight because even people when they go on antibiotic and they kill off their microbes they start gaining weight as a side effect. They give antibiotics to animals to make them get fat and get bigger so the combination of low microbes in the gut and then adding more fiber when basically we don't have enough microbes to eat all the fiber, you're gonna get bloating, gas and all sorts of issues. So when you start consuming 7 to 10 cups of vegetables a day and you just feel bloated well this is the reason why right here. So the fiber is actually making things worse, so you might have to cut back a little bit and start building up your micro flora is that bile from your gallbladder is recycled from the microbes and if you don't have enough microbes there to recycle the bile which by the way it recycles it 4 to 12 times in day. Then what's gonna happen is you're not gonna have enough bile. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 52 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. 6 Supplements That Might Actually Help You

More than half of Americans take a dietary supplement, but the truth is, most people don't need them. There are, however, a handful of supplements that can be helpful in some situations! SELCO BLOCK : Licking block containing the necessary minerals and vitamins fo young animals' growth

00:18
SELCO BLOCK is developed especially to supply the requirement of growing animals and adult sheeps. It contains a high level of vitamin D, calcium and phosphor that boosts bone development and prevents from rachitis. It also contains selenium and vitamin E that boosts muscular development and prevents from white muscular decease. Due to its high level of Zinc, SELCO BLOCK prevents the congestion in intestines caused by ingesting wool which it can be fatal. Animals that consume “MINERAL BLOCKS” regularly will not ingest non-edible substances such as soil, stone, bone, plastic bags, clothes etc. Usage recommendations Allow one block for every, 20 sheep or goats so that each animal can easily gain access to a block. Optimize the SELCO BLOCK consumption by providing a permanent supply of water and by supplying just one type of blocks every time. Renew the supply of SELCO BLOCK according to consumption requirements: 7 g per sheep or goat Consumption may be higher for a short time for animals with a nutritional deficiency but their intake will be stabilized quickly. http://www.royalilac.com info@royalilac.com

10 Questions for Vegans: ANSWERED

05:21
BLOG: https://blog.watershed.net/2018/09/08/10-questions-for-vegans/ Some on Quora asked: How long will it take to recover from veganism? Louis answered with this questions for vegans. Where do you get your protein? Spirulina and chlorella. What about plants and their feelings? Plant don’t have feelings. They’re plants. You eat them. You don’t really think they have feelings, do you? No, you were just joking. Genesis 1:29 Where do you get your B12? Spirulina and chlorella. Just had my blood work done. My B12 was excellent. B6 was off the charts. Where are your B-vitamin numbers? What do we do with all the freed animals? Won’t we be overrun? I am not for freeing them. Just don’t want to eat them. Yeah, sure, we’d be overrun. If you say so. What about the circle of life? It’s been working pretty well for thousands of years. And – it’s round as far as I know. What happens when you get stuck on a desert island and there’s only meat to eat? Then I will eat meat. Veganism is not a suicide pact. It’s just a healthier way to eat. Ps: Humans are more important than animals. Did you know Hitler was vegan? He was a vegetarian, not a vegan. And your point? Did you know Stalin was not a vegan, nor was Mao Zedong? They murdered 80,000,000 between the 2 of them. Was there a correlation you were trying to make with the Hitler was a vegan question? BTW, do you even know the difference between a vegan and a vegetarian? I would imagine you ought to since you seem to not like vegans and you have a penchant for comparing them to murderous dictators. The Bible says you should eat meat! What are you : a “commie” or gasp … an atheist? I am none of those. Where does it say to eat meat exactly? Not sure I’ve ever come across those verses. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:29. Seems pretty clear to me Why are vegans so sanctimonious and obnoxious? I am not sanctimonious, but I can definitely be obnoxious. But that’s not because I’m a vegan. I just become an obnoxious person when someone is asking stupid questions, kind of like you’re doing here. Do you know vegans are weak and have inferior brains to? I am 61 and run a 6 minute mile and can bench 185lb. Sorry, that’s not weak. Thinking you’re smarter than someone because you eat different foods than they do is weak – really weak. Inferior brains? I’m not the one asking all the completely ridiculous questions and expecting to get straight answers. So who’s got the inferior brain here? Maybe it’s all the meat you’re eating. You might want to consider cutting back a little. It’s making you do dumb things like asking stupid questions that are really meant to troll and have a laugh at someone else’s expense. How Vitamins B15 & B17 Help In Cancer Prevention, Drug Addiction & Alcoholism Recovery

08:02
How Vitamins Pangamic Acid, Vitamin B15 And Amygdalin, Vitamin B17 Help In Cancer Prevention, Drug Addiction & Alcoholism Recovery. Common Food Sources These days, vitamin B-15 and vitamin B-17 are presented for help in recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction and for cancer prevention. These vitamins are present in food eaten by animals and man, but not in dosages enough for use as medicines. Until now, it was not possible to have them as food supplements because many doctors and food-regulating authorities consider them to be poisonous. In the United States, for example, it used to be a medical sin to prescribe lacterile or vitamin B-17 for the treatment of cancer. One of the doctors who braved it, prescribing laetrile, for his cancer patients was literally hounded out of the country to Mexico. He was Dr. Contreras Sr. I once advised a cancer patient to see him. But, unfortunately, his bone cancer had become too far advanced and worsened by chemotherapy by the time he arrived in Mexico. His brother who accompanied him on the medical trip said they had a wonderful experience with new principles of healing. Vitamin B-15 is known as Pangamic Acid. The Americans do not like it, and so, the food and drugs Administration (FDA) more than 20 years ago forbade producers of B- Complex vitamins to add it to the package. But the Russians have no serious phobia for vitamin B-15, according to www.detoxprogramme.net which says doctors in that country have been using it for many conditions, including … “alcoholism, drug addiction, aging and cenility, minimal brain damage in children, autism, schizophrenia, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, skin disease, liver disease, chemical poisoning”. Why Are Mosquitoes Attracted To You?!

12:10
Mosquitoes are attracted to me and it's likely due to my genes. This video is sponsored by 23andMe https://23andme.com/veritasium Huge thanks to Prof. Immo Hansen and team: http://ve42.co/hansen References: Genome Wide Association Study for self-reported mosquito attractiveness: http://ve42.co/MossieGWAS The twin study showing correlated attractiveness is stronger for identical twins: http://ve42.co/MossieTwins Some things we know make mosquitoes more attracted to you: Exercising, higher metabolism, higher body temperature, more body odor, being pregnant, type O blood, infrequent bathing, lactic acid, ammonia, acetone. There are a number of folk remedies people believe protect them from mosquito bites like drinking alcohol, eating garlic, or taking vitamin B. These do not appear to provide any benefit in lab studies and in fact drinking alcohol is associated with increased mosquito activity because it causes blood vessels near the surface of the skin to dilate. And apparently some of your attractiveness to mosquitos is simply genetic. This may be mediated through your immune system, which is what a lot of the genes identified were associated with. Top 5 Foods Highest in Vitamin K2

03:41
Buy Raw Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil: https://amzn.to/2tuM45K **We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. Number 1: Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil Cod Liver Oil is an amazing super food with extremely high amounts of Vitamin K2. In fact, extra virgin cod liver oil is one of the highest sources of vitamin K2 in the world. Research has shown that vitamin K2 plays an extremely important role in preventing calcification of the body and directing calcium into the bones where it belongs. Also, cod liver oil is a powerful anti-inflammatory due to its high amounts of omega 3’s such as DHA and EPA. Both these omega 3’s play an extremely important role in balancing the nervous system and can help prevent degenerative disease in the body. Number 2: Aged Cheeses Aged Cheeses from grass fed animals are extremely high in vitamin K2. In fact, the longer the cheese is aged, the more vitamin K2 will be present in it. This is because the aging process naturally produces more bacteria which in return produce vitamin K2 while feeding on the milk sugars. Eating small amounts of aged cheeses daily is an excellent way to boost vitamin K2 content in the body and prevent deficiency. Aged Cheese also contains high amounts of calcium which works synergistically with vitamin K2 to build strong bones. Number 3: Chicken Liver Pastured chicken liver is an amazing source of vitamin K2. Eating Chicken liver once a week is a great way to obtain bioavailable forms of vitamin K2 and also boost mineral and vitamin content in the body. However, it’s important that the chicken liver comes from animals which are fed an organic diet and cage free. Consuming liver from animals which are given antibiotics, raised in confined spaces, and fed a non-organic diet is never a good idea. Chicken liver is also a great source of vitamin A which is crucial for healthy skin and bone health. Number 4: Egg Yolks Egg yolks are one of nature’s most perfect foods. Egg yolks naturally contain extremely high amounts of vitamins and minerals which can help improve the function of the body and can help promote optimal health. Egg yolks are very high in the essential vitamin K2. Eating a few eggs with the yolks each week is a great way to naturally boost vitamin K2 levels in the body. Egg yolks are extremely bioavailable and contain no anti-nutrients which can hinder the absorption of the vitamins and minerals. For best results, it’s best to consume eggs that have been poached. Poaching is an extremely gentle way to cook eggs and ensure that delicate vitamins and minerals are not destroyed. Number 5: Fermented Vegetables Raw fermented vegetables are an excellent source of trace amounts of vitamin K2. Although vitamin K2 is typically only found in select animal foods, raw fermented vegetables will contain small amounts due to the live bacteria. These live bacteria feed on the vegetable sugars and in return produce small amounts of vitamin K2. As a result, fermented vegetables, such as sauerkraut, goes great with almost any meal and makes for the perfect side dish. Consuming small amount of fermented vegetables daily is a great way to naturally boost K2 levels in the body.

Vitamin B12

11:21
Vitamin B12 Vitamin B12, vitamin B12 or vitamin B-12, also called cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that has a key role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and the formation of red blood cells It is one of eight B vitamins It is involved in the metabolism of every cell of the human body, especially affecting DNA synthesis, fatty acid and amino acid metabolism1 No fungi, plants, nor animals including humans are capable of producing vitamin B12 Only bacteria and archaea have the enzymes needed for its synthesis Proved sources of B12 are animal products meat, fish, dairy products and supplements Some research states that certain non-animal products possibly can be a natural source of B12 because of bacterial symbiosis B12 is the largest and most structurally complicated vitamin and can be produced industrially only through a bacterial fermentation-synthesis This synthetic B12 is used to fortify foods and sold as a dietary supplement Vitamin B12 consists of a class of chemically related compounds vitamers, all of which show pharmacological activity It contains the bioche Vitamin B12 Click for more; https://www.turkaramamotoru.com/en/vitamin-b12-6015.html There are excerpts from wikipedia on this article and video

Eating Brain, Liver, Heart, and Tripe for Wellness?

08:07
The organ MEATS that I am talking about eating for wellness and nutrition are the brain, tripe, heart, the kidneys, and the liver. Sure there are some other nutritious organs in there but these are the ones that are going to give you the biggest bang for your buck. First let's talk about the heart and the kidneys. When it comes to micronutrients and macronutrient makeup from a dietary perspective these organ meats are very similar. These organ meats are rich in amino acids and provide the body with a host of vitamins and minerals as well. The funny thing is when you eat these organ meats, they actually have a lot of the nutrients that are necessary to heal that part of your body as well. So for instance if you were to eat beef (which is the ideal source) heart and kidneys then you would be fueling your body with the nutrients it needs to be able to heal those organs in your own body. One of the most pronounced benefits are that of the amino acids that make up these organs. They are packed full of pro-metabolic amino acids such as glycine, proline, lysine, and so much more. Glycine has been shown to be one of the most anabolic healing amino acids that exists. With it being able to help with glutathione production and work synergistically with glutathione, this amino acid without a doubt has to be in your diet (4). Along with all of the pro-metabolic amino acids in these organ meats they are also full of almost all of the key vitamins and minerals that are necessary for human survival. The most prevalent of these being magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, vitamin c, vitamins b3, b5, b12, and folate. Now for the liver, the liver is the processing plant of the body. Anything that goes into your body is processed by the liver no matter how clean it is, the liver has to metabolize it in order for the body to be able to utilize the nutrients, and get rid of the toxins that could potentially harm the body. When thinking about this you might think that when trying to eat the liver it would be the nasty toxin ladened hunk of meat that should be thrown straight into the garbage, but it is quite the opposite. The liver is the most nutrient dense packed food that is known to man. This superfood is full of sodium, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, magnesium, copper, glutathione, l-carnitine, glycine, proline, lysine, vitamin A, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, folate, and more. Liver quite possibly could even have more nutrients in it that we haven't even discovered yet. It is also a very rich source of the pro-metabolic amino acids glycine, proline, lysine, and all of the essential amino acids as well. Organ meats, specifically the brain, heart, kidneys, and liver are phenomenal for your overall health. With each of them being a great superfood that is packed with vital vitamins and minerals, and an amino acid makeup that is great for healing the body. These meats are without a doubt a necessity to the diet. Try to consume one of these organ meats about once a week to get a good dose of all that they have to offer. When looking to buy organ meats you want to make sure that you are buying organic grass fed organ meats. This ensures that you are avoiding all of the harmful chemicals that are found in conventionally raised animals. Being that these organs process and come into contact with those chemicals they can contain a large amount of them if you are not careful. Another great way to get the benefits of these superfoods is to get them in supplement form. This makes them a lot more convenient to consume on a regular basis. The best way to do this is to find a good grass fed dessicated liver supplement, this will give you the best results. If you want to get an even greater amount of all the beneficial amino acids that these organs offer they are also found in collagen and bone broth which is even more rich in these amazing amino acids. The best collagen on the market right now is without a doubt Truth Nutras Total Collagen. This collagen is hydrolyzed and has types I, II, III, V, and X from bovine (cows), fish, chicken, and eggshell ensuring that you get maximum absorption and benefits from it. All of the collagen types are made from sustainably raised and caught animals such as grass fed beef, free range organic chickens, and wild caught fish to get the best possible collagen on the face of the planet. Eggs Health Benefits For Nutrition, Protein, Cholesterol, Choline

07:19
Egg Benefits Whole eggs, specifically egg yolks, are one of the most nutrient dense food sources that we have in today’s society coming in a close second behind or-gan meats. The yolk itself is literally made to be able to produce life, having all of the nutrients available for the development of a little baby chick. These nutrients include a whole host of B vitamins, vitamins A, E, D, choline (vitamin J), and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, selenium, zinc, copper, potassium, and more. Along with these essential vitamins and mineral the egg has a very diverse set of amino acids that are beneficial for the metabolism, and fatty acids that contribute to the beneficial effects they have. Eggs are also potent sources of the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin. Eggs have been shown to help improve eye health through a couple different mechanisms. The first way is by increasing active vitamin A in the human body, which when deficient in can lead to blindness and a bunch of other detrimental health effects. The second mechanism is by having the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants tend to favor the retina and have been shown in many cases to help protect the retina from free radical damage, which can lead to cataracts, age related decline in eyesight, and blindness. Eggs have been shown in many cases to help raise HDL cholesterol which is the lipoprotein that transports excess cholesterol in the body back to the liver to be excreted by the body. This type of cholesterol when it is in the right balance can be tremendously beneficial to human health. It has even been seen in studies that for every 1% increase in HDL cholesterol there is a 3% reduction in mortality , so I don’t know about you but I am gonna try to keep that bad boy up rather than suppress it to low levels. Eggs are a great source of vitamin D which has been shown in numerous occasions to contribute to optimal bon health in terms of calcium absorption (that is why your milk is fortified with this vitamin) as well as contribute to proper homeostasis of protective hormones like testosterone. Eggs are also a great source of choline a vitamin that around 95% of Americans are deficient in. Choline has been shown in studies to help increase proper functioning and heal the liver, as well as increase athletic performance. It’s also shown that when in ample amounts it can be converted into the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and can increase cognitive performance, specifically allowing for better focus and memory formation. Free Range vs Conventional Obviously as a person who likes to eat meat I am seen by many people to be a heartless savage who doesn’t mind taking the life of innocent creatures, but that is not the case at all. I take a look at the way that my food is raised and taken care of. I make sure I obtain my food from humane sources that take care of their animals right up to the day of . I view eating meat as a part of life. These animals have been put here in order for us to survive off of them. We have evolved as rapidly as we have and have been given the ability to eat these animals for a reason. Conventional eggs are the opposite of what I look for , the chickens are raised in cages, fed horrible inhumane diets (possibly other chickens), and are pumped full of antibiotics and hormones to keep them producing eggs year round, the antibiotics are used because the animals are packed so tightly together without the ability to move that they can’t stay healthy and get chronic infections. Free range eggs on the other hand are different. The chickens are allowed to roam freely on open land, they get to enjoy the sunshine, and they are not pumped full of harmful chemicals that get into the eggs and meat and then back to the consumer. They are healthy and happy up until the day that they are taken to. This different process of raising the eggs can be seen not only by the eye by the yolk but also in the nutritional composition of the egg as well. Just looking at a free range healthy egg versus a conventional egg you tell there is something different going on. Mainly by the yolk. In a free range egg the yolk is a dark rich yellow, almost an orange color that looks packed with all the good stuff. Conventional eggs have a light yellow, almost partly clear yolk in many cases that makes them look completely void of anything. Free range eggs have been shown to naturally have more vitamin D in them, which makes sense because the chickens that laid those eggs were able to get more from being out in the sun. They also have been shown to have more vitamin E in them, which in term makes the omega-3 content in the egg a lot safer to consume. This is because vitamin E helps the polyunsaturated fatty acid keep from breaking down into free radicals.

What Causes Burning Tongue?

Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 In this video, Dr. Berg answers the question from someone that wanted to know what causes burning tongue. It is actually a B12 Deficiency. Anyone that has liver damage will going to have hard time absorbing B12. B12 Deficiency: • Low Stomach Acid • Gastric Bypass (You don’t have the full capacity of the digestive system) • IBS (Crohn’s and Inflammatory Problem of the Bowel) • Vegan – add B12 in the form of Methylcobalamin (Natural Form) • Anti-Acids • Alcohol – Can deplete B12. Foods high on B12: • Eggs • Animal Meats • Dairy Hey guys, I recently have a question from someone that wanted to know what causes burning tongue and this is the same with burning mouth or sore mouth. It is actually a B12 deficiency, now the question is how do you become B12 deficient? There are several ways that could happen, no. 1, Low Stomach Acid, Gastric Bypass and therefore you don’t have the full capacity of the digestive systems and you can’t absorb B12, some type of problems in your digestive system like IBS, or Crohn’s and Inflammatory Problem of the Bowel could do it as well, being a Vegan could do it as well because most of the B12 comes from either eggs, animals meats or animal organs, dairy so if you’re a vegan you might want to add B12 in the form of Methylcobalamin, this is the Natural Form do not get the cyanocobalamin, and drinking Alcohol can deplete B12, that’s why alcoholics are actually deficient in B12. For that matter anyone that has liver damage could have a hard time absorbing B12. Alright? There you have it. Thanks for watching! What is the BEST NATURAL FLEA TREATMENT for Dogs & Cats

10:09
https://www.epicnaturalhealth.com/what-is-the-best-natural-flea-treatment-for-my-cat-or-dog/ What is the best natural flea treatment for dogs & Cats flea's bite will cause painful, itchy irritation in dogs and cats and people are not immune to flea bites as well. Fleas (like bedbugs) can reproduce pretty quickly, making your home quite uncomfortable. Most people want to Get rid of fleas as quickly as possible will ensure they don't spread from your pet (or yard) to people. The problem with many flea killers is that they contain nasty chemicals. commercial flea collars are often not popular especially when your kids and other family members play with the pet, they’re also being exposed to toxic pesticides and other chemicals. Here are some natural remedies to ensure that your pets, and your home, are itch-free! 1. Make your own non-toxic flea killer-with 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of essential orange oil. Combine the oil and baking soda into a jar. Shake well to combine and then sprinkle your pet and rub the powder mixture into their skin. 2. make an anti flea shampoo - by using 1/2 cup of dog shampoo mixed with 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and two cups of water. Wash your dog weekly to the kill the critters. Many natural flea sprays contain a citrus extract called D-limonene, which repels and kills these biting bugs. PUBLIC DOMAIN 3. Keep fleas away from your yard with landscaping The easiest way to get rid of fleas is to not get them in the first place. Deter fleas (and other annoying bugs) by choosing your landscaping wisely. Planting lemon balm, sage, catnip, mint, basil, and lemongrass throughout your garden and keeping pots of the same herbs near outside living areas. . Make your own flea color Keep your pup safe while he plays in the backyard by making your own flea collar from a bandana. Mix 3 to 5 drops of lavender oil with 1 to 3 tablespoons of water. Use an eye dropper to apply a few drops of the solution to the bandana and tie it loosely around your pet's neck Bathe Your Pets And Pet Bedding Each Week While bathing your pets may seem obvious, many people overlook the importance of proper pet hygiene to keep fleas and ticks at bay. Fleas are less attracted to clean pets, which is another reason why frequent bathing of your dog and cat is so important. Use a natural shampoo or peppermint shampoo, and add 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to the warm bath water, which will provide even more flea protection. And don’t neglect to clean your pets’ bedding! Washing their bedding regularly in hot water with a mild detergent will eliminate flea eggs and larvae. Use a Flea Comb Each Day Using a fine flea comb not only helps to prevent flea infestation, but also removes existing pests. Dead pet hair lands on mats, which provide the perfect hiding spot for ticks and a lush breeding ground for fleas. For the best results, comb your furry friends’ stomach, tail and face, which is where pests typically hang out in the largest numbers. Combing also provides you with the ability to find and remove any recent ticks Apple Cider Vinegar Flea Deterrents Another wonderful do-it-yourself natural flea repellent spray is made with apple cider vinegar which I mentioned earlier. It’s easy to prepare and poses no risk to your pets’ health. Simply mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water. Add the mixture to a spray bottle and frequently spritz it on your dog or cat pet. It’s recommended that you also spray the mixture on their bedding. You can make this apple cider spray even more powerful by adding a few drops of essential oils that are distasteful to fleas, such as lemongrass, neem and catnip oil. The Flea-Busting Power of Coconut Oil Why is coconut oil such an effective flea repellent? It’s packed with lauric acid, which is coconut oil’s “secret ingredient” that deters both fleas and ticks. It’s also great for providing your cat or dog with healthy skin and coat! If your pet already has fleas, you can dip your hands in coconut oil and massage them deep into your pet’s coat, working all the way down to the skin. Next, take a fine flea comb and comb it through the fur. The coconut oil will cause the fleas to stick to the comb, and the rest will be repelled by the coconut oil and jump off! Brewer’s Yeast Both fleas and ticks have an aversion to the vitamin thiamine, which is abundant in brewer’s yeast. Thiamine is a member of the B vitamin group, and is a non-toxic way to repel fleas and ticks, and also boost your cat or dog’s immune system. How does it work? When your pet consumes brewer’s yeast, it ingests thiamine and later exudes it through its skin. Fleas are repelled by the taste and odor. Use 1mg per 5 lbs. of body weight in your pet’s food. You can also help keep fleas away from your dog or cat by rubbing brewer's ye Diatomaceous Earth is another popular natural flue treatment https://www.epicnaturalhealth.com/what-is-the-best-natural-flea-treatment-for-my-cat-or-dog/

Vegan B12

02:55
B12 B12 is not a vegan problem, its a modern world problem. B12 is a germ that is in organic soil. We use to get it from water but now we have sterilized our water and our soil. Now it's popular belief that you get b12 from animal products. That's not wrong per say its possible people do it. I’m not going to say it's impossible. However it's good to keep in mind that animals get their b12 from eating the from the ground but animals in factory farms don't eat from the ground nor do they eat organically so they are not eating b12. Sometimes they will be injected with b12 vitamin. Which begs the question why don't we just take the vitamin. But not all animals are even injected with the vitamin they are just b12 deficient that means your not getting it.

What vitamins do vegans need to take? Today’s video is all about the vegan supplements that we take and why. We truly hope that this will demystify things for you, give you ideas, and help you on your path of radiant health and well-being. {Nos amis francophones, cliquez sur le petit CC à droite pour les sous-titres.} In a perfect world, we'd be eating a plantiful rainbow, plus some vegan blueberry corncakes thrown in for good measure, and all our nutrients would be covered. But in this imperfect world, there are toxins... everywhere. There are excitotoxins and pharmaceutical residues. There's unsavories in most cosmetics, environmental toxins, and partially hydrogenated oils thrown around willy-nilly into packaged “foods.” (And yes, they need to be detoxified if we desire radiant health. Chloe's protocol will get you started on this. http://bit.ly/2BzJmmZ ) So, unless you live on a self-sufficient, off-grid organic farmland paradise with fertile soil, un-messed-with seeds and no pesticides (and you’ve done a blood test and checked your stats)... You probably would do well to supplement. (If you have found the aforementioned farmland paradise, send me an email, I’ll come join you. Pronunciation /ˈviːɡənɪzəm/ VEE-gə-niz-əm Vegan /ˈviːɡən/ VEE-gən Description Elimination of the use of animal products, particularly in diet Earliest proponents Al-Maʿarri (c. 973 – c. 1057)[a] Roger Crab (1621–1680)[2] Johann Conrad Beissel (1691–1768)[3] James Pierrepont Greaves (1777–1842)[4] Amos Bronson Alcott (1799–1888)[5] Sarah Bernhardt (1844–1923)[6] Donald Watson (1910–2005)[7] Term coined by Donald Watson, November 1944[8] Notable vegans List of vegans Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals.[b] A follower of the diet or the philosophy is known as a vegan (/ˈviːɡən/ VEE-gən).[c] Distinctions may be made between several categories of veganism. Dietary vegans (or strict vegetarians) refrain from consuming animal products, not only meat but also eggs, dairy products and other animal-derived substances.[d] The term ethical vegan is often applied to those who not only follow a vegan diet but extend the philosophy into other areas of their lives, and oppose the use of animals for any purpose.[e] Another term is environmental veganism, which refers to the avoidance of animal products on the premise that the industrial farming of animals is environmentally damaging and unsustainable.[22] Some reviews have shown that some people who eat a vegan diet have less chronic disease, including heart disease, than people who do not follow a restrictive diet.[23] They are regarded as appropriate for all stages of life including during infancy and pregnancy by the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics,[f] Dietitians of Canada,[25] and the British Dietetic Association.[26] The German Society for Nutrition does not recommend vegan diets for children or adolescents, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.[g] Vegan diets tend to be higher in dietary fiber, magnesium, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, and phytochemicals; and lower in dietary energy, saturated fat, cholesterol, long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, calcium, zinc, and vitamin B12.[h] Unbalanced vegan diets may lead to nutritional deficiencies that nullify any beneficial effects and may cause serious health issues.[28][29][30] Some of these deficiencies can only be prevented through the choice of fortified foods or the regular intake of dietary supplements.[28][31] Vitamin B12 supplementation is especially important because its deficiency causes blood disorders and potentially irreversible neurological damage.[30][32][33] Donald Watson coined the term vegan in 1944 when he co-founded the Vegan Society in England. At first he used it to mean "non-dairy vegetarian", but from 1951 the Society defined it as "the doctrine that man should live without exploiting animals".[34] Interest in veganism increased in the 2010s,[35][36] especially in the latter half.[36] More vegan stores opened and vegan options became increasingly available in supermarkets and restaurants in many countries. The term "vegetarian" has been in use since around 1839 to refer to what was previously described as a vegetable regimen or diet.[37] Modern dictionaries based on scientific linguistic principles explain its origin as an irregular compound of vegetable[38] and the suffix -arian (in the sense of "supporter, believer" as in humanitarian).[39] The earliest-known written use is attributed to the actress Fanny Kemble around 1839 in Georgia in the United States.[i]

AMAZING DISCOVERY: THIS VITAMIN TREATS LUNG INFLAMMATION WITHIN 3 HOURS!😱😱

AMAZING DISCOVERY: THIS VITAMIN TREATS LUNG INFLAMMATION WITHIN 3 HOURS! In 1940, Doctor of medicine Frederick Klener documented that adequate intake of vitamin C has the ability to treat over 30 different diseases, including pneumonia. If you experience chills and cough, it is most likely a virus to be a cause of pneumonia. This can cause an accumulation of fluid in the lungs, which in most cases leads to death. Unfortunately, antibiotics do not help when it comes to dealing with a viral infection, and a weakened immune system and neglected lymphatic system is the basis for creating bronchitis, which like most other diseases, requires great caution in treatment. Inositol

13:27
In this video you'll discover the nootropic benefits of Inositol (Vitamin B8). Including why we use Inositol as a nootropic, recommended dosage, side effects and clinical research. Inositol (Vitamin B8, cyclohexanehexol) is a sugar alcohol and isomer of glucose found in nearly all animals and plants. Inositol is a group of 9 molecules called stereoisomers. In this video we're talking primarily about myo-inositol which accounts for up to 95% of the inositol in your body. Vitamin B8 is no longer considered a 'true' vitamin because our body makes inositol. And we can get it from most types of food. Inositol is used in your brain as a "secondary messenger". It facilitates communication between brain cells. All of your major neurotransmitters need inositol to relay messages. As a secondary messenger, inositol is an integral part of neuroplasticity and neurotransmitter signaling. Affecting anxiety, alertness, concentration, cognition, depression and all forms of memory. Inositol also helps boost serotonin and dopamine receptor density. Improving the effectiveness of serotonin, GABA, glutamate and dopamine neurotransmitters in your brain. As a nootropic, Vitamin B8 (Inositol) can be used to treat panic attacks and anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), bulimia, depression in bipolar disorder and mood swings. Inositol makes it easier to fall asleep. Unlike other sleep-inducing nootropics or sleep meds, it doesn't "knock you out". Falling asleep is just effortless. Inositol is great for social occasions because anxiety levels decrease. In fact, inositol outperformed fluoxetine at reducing panic attacks and can become effective in just a few days. With no side effects. And inositol is an effective method of taming panic attacks. Recommended dosage for inositol is up to 3 grams per day. Typically split into 3-doses of 1 gram each. One in the morning, one at noon, and your final dose before bedtime. This indepth Inositol review covers: 00:24 Inositol as a nootropic 01:49 How does Inositol work in the brain? 03:50 Inositol benefits 07:25 How does Inositol feel? 08:49 Inositol clinical studies 09:22 Inositol recommended dosage 10:32 Inositol side effects 11:23 Type of Inositol to buy For more on Inositol (Vitamin B8) including a full transcript of this video and links to clinical studies, go to: https://nootropicsexpert.com/vitamin-b8-inositol/ For a full list of all the popular nootropics used today, go to: https://nootropicsexpert.com/nootropics-list/ And to get a copy of my new book "Head First - The Complete Guide to Healing and Optimizing Your Brain with Nootropic Supplements", go to: https://nootropicsexpert.com/head-first/ I upload new videos every week providing individual nootropic reviews, and tips on the best nootropic stacks no matter what your brain optimization goals. Ep003: Arguments Against Going Vegan And Rebuttals!

32:50
http://plantbasedhero.co ^^Free Plant Based Roadmap^^ Protein All plants have protein, even lemons. The amount might be smaller, but it’s simple to get enough protein on a plant based diet if you eat enough calories. Besides, we don’t need as much protein as we once thought. Too much protein can cause kidney damage and other issues. But I though Plants don’t have a full amino acid profile… It is commonly thought that plants do not have a full amino acid profile. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. This is just another way of saying that there’s not enough protein in a plant based diet. Vitamin B12 is not in a vegan diet Another thing that many people say to avoid going plant based is that there is no B12 in a plant based diet. Joe Rogan, comedian and famous podcast personality has been commonly known for claiming that vegans will be malnourished and should be careful mainly because of this b12 controversy. Vitamin B12 is part of the earth’s microbiome and found on dirt and plants in nature. Animals eat those plants and have the b12 in their body. Calcium comes from milk, which vegans don’t drink… The dairy industry has been claiming that we need milk for strong bones for decades. They claim that the calcium in the milk helps our bones to get stronger and avoid damage down the road in old age. The same industry plasters Got Milk? posters everywhere and makes sure theres plenty of milk in school cafeterias for children to drink. Wouldn’t want them to break bones would we? The animals are being killed anyway I remember having this mentality before I switched. It was a notion of “If you can’t beat them, join them.” What’s little old me going to do about it anyway? The animals will be killed if I eat them or if I don’t eat them. If you’ve ever had that same thought, don’t worry. We are not here to shame you, I’ve done the same thing many times. But here’s what I learned… If we didn’t eat meat, the animals would overpopulate the planet and starve Many naysayers of a vegan lifestyle quickly point to the fact that we would not know what to do with all the animals if we did not eat them. Where would they go? How would we move forward? I think it’s important to talk about how we got here; what happened in the first place? Well, we’ve been mass producing animals for decades so that we could pump out meat like a factory for people to eat. The slaughters have been going up for years as we end lives over and over and over again to feed people. We must act from a place of helping the world at large. I’m not saying it’s always going to be easy, but it’s the right thing to do. So come hang out, stick around, and get to know us so we can help you every step of the way with going plant based and unleashing your Hero!
