03:04 - Dollmom – My daughter had a baby one week ago and her BP is still up. The diastolic is in the 90 range. What should she do? 04:20 - Brianna – Dr.Morse asked me to send him a picture of my eyes, this is the best I could get with camera. He said because of what’s happening with my teeth and other things I probably have a very weak pituitary and parathyroid. 10:03 - Stacy - Dr. Morse My husband, Bill, gets cluster headaches every two years or so that last anywhere from 1-3 months and varies with intensity. What is the cause? Why does it happen every 2 years? What is your protocol to "cure" it? He has high pressure and crohns disease. On medication to treat both. Has a history of fatty liver and slightly elevated liver enzymes. His doctor treats his cluster headaches by going up on his verapamil medication and adds imitrex. It helps the pain but obviously doesn't make them go away forever or he would be out of business :) Looking forward to your guidance and wisdom King Morse! Ha! 17:41 - Donna - I have terrible digestion. I have tried switching to a fruit based diet and am still trying to. I have found it very hard to accomplish in high school. If I eat certain foods I have terrible pain so that makes it a little easier to stay away from certain foods. I have constant sinus problems and they NEVER go away. Thank you for helping people. I appreciate everything you do.

The practice of Aakash mudra, Vaayan mudra, Apaan-Vayu mudra and Pran mudra are useful to control high blood pressure, how to do it, duration and precautions. To know more visit http://www.completenaturecure.com/four-simple-mudras-controls-high-blood-pressure/ Four simple mudras for high blood pressure High blood pressure or hypertension is one of the most dangerous health disorder. This disease is a result of our modern lifestyle. The fast pace of life and the urban environments give rise to psychological tensions. Mental worries and stress increase the adrenaline in the bloodstream, and this results in a pressure of the blood to rise. You can go ahead and check my other post on remedies for high blood pressure High blood pressure or Hypertension Hypertension (known in Ayurveda as Rakta Gata Vata) is arterial hypertension in the arteries. The increase in blood pressure depends on age, gender, physical and mental activity, family history and diet. The normal blood pressure of a healthy adult is 120 mmHg systolic and 80 mmHg diastolic. Causes of high blood pressure Unhealthy diet and lack of exercise are the leading causes of hypertension today. Most foods we eat, fast food or items packed with preservatives and chemicals cause digestive problems in the body. Damaged digestion leads to the accumulation of ama (toxins), leading to hypertension. The food we eat is digested by our digestive fire (Jatharagni) to produce nutritious plasma. This plasma nourishes all other dhatus (body tissues) and helps produce healthy blood that circulates through multiple channels (srotas) in the body. However, as digestion worsens, the nutritive plasma stops producing digestive impurities or cravings. This mistress mingles with the plasma and turns it into sama (combined with ama) or massive. As a result, the blood thus produced becomes so heavy or sticky. This heavy blood (laden with impurities) flows through multiple channels and toxins begin to accumulate in the weakest channels of the body. When they gather in the heart tubes, these toxins cause the narrowing of the channels. Therefore, the blood must exert more pressure to flow through these channels, resulting in the condition of hypertension. Stress, anxiety and negative mental feelings also cause a rise in blood pressure. Other causes include the history of blood pressure in the family, obesity, physical inactivity, eating a high-fat and low-fiber diet, over-consumption of tea, coffee, and refined foods, etc. SYMPTOMS Neck pain (occipital headache) palpitations Dizziness or dizziness fatigue Ayurveda approach towards High blood pressure The Ayurvedic treatment line for hypertension aims to identify the cause of the disease and then administer herbs that can eradicate the root problem. To achieve this, digestion must be improved, and the digestive fire strengthened. Second, the toxins that have already accumulated in the channels of the heart must be eliminated. Finally, mental relaxation techniques, including meditation, yoga, and pranayama, are recommended to ensure that the mind remains calm and stable. Diet and lifestyle tips Avoid meat, eggs, table salt, cucumbers, tea, and coffee. Avoid smoking because it increases your heart rate. Increase the use of garlic, lemon, parsley, Indian gooseberry (Amla), watermelon, grapefruit, skim milk and cottage cheese. Regular exercise is the best ways to lower blood pressure; Fast walking, jogging, swimming, and athletics are good options. Laughter is the best solution because it relieves the stress and anxiety that is the primary cause of high blood pressure in today’s lifestyle.

12 Ways Your Body Tries To Tell You That Your Liver Is Being Damaged The liver is the largest solid organ in your body. It is located in the right upper quadrant of your abdomen and partly protected by the ribs. You need your liver for many important bodily functions and cannot live without your liver. For this reason, you should know the early signs of liver damage and take care of your liver as much as you possibly can. There are more than a hundred different kinds of diseases of the liver. Each has its own set of symptoms. Some of these diseases include alcoholic liver disease, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis of the liver. The early signs of liver disease tend to be easily overlooked and are non-specific, related to any number of different conditions. Here are some common early signs. 1. Upset Stomach You are likely to get nausea and vomiting. They can mimic other diseases, such as migraines, food poisoning, vertigo, motion sickness, early pregnancy, depression and vomiting. It can mimic kidney problems as well. Those who suffer from early liver damage often feel persistently nauseous, because the liver has a decreased ability to rid the body of toxins. The nausea can also be due to ongoing metabolism and changes in digestion. If you have these symptoms for several days and don’t know why, seek the attention of your doctor. 2. Fatigue and Overall Weakness One of the early and obvious signs of liver damage is constantly feeling tired and weak. When the liver is not in great condition, the body must work harder and you will need more rest. This is due to an increase in toxins in the bloodstream that can’t be cleared out because the liver can’t get rid of the toxins properly. If the symptoms persist, especially with other early signs of liver damage, seek medical advice as soon as you can. 3. Lack of Appetite This happens due to a lack of production of bile that helps digest fat in the diet. When food isn’t properly digested, it can lead to a lack of appetite and a severe loss of weight. See your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time. 4. Digestion Problems The liver is important in digestion because it makes bile that helps the nutrients be better processed and absorbed by the small intestines. If the liver is failing, you can develop an increase in indigestion and diarrhea. If the bile is not produced properly, you can also experience irritable bowel syndrome, fatty food intolerance, alcohol intolerance, abdominal bloating, constipation and gallstones. If this becomes severe, you need to seek the medical attention of a doctor. 5. Alterations in the Color of Urine If you think you are drinking enough but still have a dark color of your urine, this may be one of the early signs of liver damage. The urine may look brown, amber, or orange in color because of elevated levels of bilirubin in the bloodstream. The bilirubin is elevated because the liver cannot get rid of the bilirubin and it is excreted through the kidneys. Dark urine may also be due to dehydration, side effects of taking antibiotics, taking B vitamin supplements, urinary tract infections, enzyme deficiencies or kidney abnormalities. The doctor can help sort out the cause of dark urine. 6. Changes in Stool Coloration Because the bile is not made enough by a malfunctioning liver, the color of the stool changes. Instead of being brown, it can become pale yellow, clay colored, or gray in appearance. If this happens periodically, it is not dangerous, but if it happens often, seek the advice of your doctor to check out your liver. https://youtu.be/VOx8ikPmaos

Although there are many benefits to learning how to use all the muscles of breathing, and to learn to breathe in many ways, in the more advanced stages of yoga it is the art of breathing less than normal (hypoventilation) that gives the most physiological benefits. The less you breathe in and out the more you will build up carbon dioxide inside your body. Contrary to popular belief carbon dioxide and the carbonic acid it becomes in your blood has many benefits inside the body. Carbon dioxide and carbonic acid build up inside you from breathing less than normal (mild hypoventilation): *** brings more blood to your brain and heart (vasodilation) *** allows more air to enter your lungs (bronchdilitation) *** calms your nervous system *** reduces your need and craving for heavy, processed and acid food For a beginner the best way to do get the benefits of a build up of carbon dioxide is to try to maintain relaxed abdominal breathing as much as possible and in as many activities as you can. A great activity is to go for a brisk walk and try to keep your breath as natural and relaxed as possible. You will find this easier to do if allow your abdomen to relax more than you may normally do and allow you hips and spine to move more freely like and olympic walker. However, for more advanced practitioners there are several other things you can do with your breath that can increase carbon dioxide once your body is adequately prepared. In this 5 minute video clip, which is an extract from the Yoga Synergy Yogic Nutrition DVD https://yogasynergy.com/product/nutrition-diet-eat-less-to-live-longer/ the benefits of holding your breath both in and out as an advanced yoga practitioner are elaborated and demonstrated. In the first part of this video physiotherapist and research scientist Simon Borg-Olivier demonstrates how to use the Valsalva manoeuvre to lift into a handstand do a backward flip (without warming up). Simon explains that the Valsalva manoeuvre is essentially the act of breathing in almost fully then holding your breath in and performing a moderately forceful attempt at exhalation (without actually exhaling) against your closed airway. Although this is a relatively commonly used technique for increasing strength via increasing intraabdominal and intrathoracic pressure in sports such a weightlifting, it is not recommended for most people as it can dangerously increase blood pressure and if done incorrectly can cause stroke in some people. Simon uses the Valsalva manoeuvre to slowly lift his body into the air into a handstand and then using what is essentially a chest lock (a compressive uddiyana bandha) and an abdominal lock (expansive mula bandha) protects his lower back enough to drop into a full backward arch posture and then complete a backward flip to standing (viparita chakrasana). Here the Valsalva manoeuvre helps improve both strength and flexibility while protecting the lower back as well as other joints in the body. WARNING: The Valsalva manoeuvre is potentially dangerous done in normal positions, but it is especially potentially dangerous when done in the exercise and movements shown in this video unless your body is highly trained in physical yoga and pranayama or at least similar Western exercise techniques. DO NOT do this exercise if you are prone to irregular blood pressure (high or low), headaches, nausea and/or circulatory system problem. You must not let any pressure come to your head during the lifting movements of handstand and the backward flip. Pressing and keeping the tip of your tongue on the roof of the mouth can help to prevent excessive pressure going to the brain and helps to replace the standard chin-lock (ha-jalandhara bandha in pranayama), which is hard to do while lifting into handstands. In the second part of the video Simon talks about the benefits of holding your breath out. Here he demonstrates holding his breath completely out and practicing nauli (rectus abdominis isolation) and lauliki (abdominal churning using rectus abdominis as well as the oblique muscles) while expanding the chest as if inhaling to the chest but not actually inhaling. This practice, which is sometimes likened to the Mueller manoeuvre in Western medical science builds up carbon dioxide even more rapidly than the Valsalva manoeuvre and is less dangerous to attempt. It is really great for improving digestion by massaging the internal organs. How to Prevent Heart Disease. About 610,000 people die from heart disease each year in the U.S. alone. There are tons of factors that can cause a person to develop heart problems, but most of them come down to poor lifestyle choices. Your body gives you warning signs early on so that you can catch an illness in its early stages or even prevent it altogether and save your life. Here are 10 of the most common red flags that indicate bad heart health. #heartproblems #healthyheart #bodysigns A cough that won't quit 1:38 A persistent cough can be a symptom of all kinds of health issues, and cardiovascular disease is one of them. For instance, a chronic cough that produces a pinkish bloody liquid is very common in people with heart failure. Despite what it sounds like, heart failure doesn't mean that the heart completely stops beating. It just means that a person’s heart isn’t pumping blood as well as it should be. As a result, the body doesn't get enough oxygen since it’s carried to all the tissues by the blood. Nausea and loss of appetite 3:07 A lot of heart disease patients show a lack of appetite, nausea, or both, even if they've had just a couple bites of food. The reason for that is built-up fluid around the liver and intestines that interferes with proper digestion. These symptoms are usually accompanied by abdominal pain, upset stomach, or feeling bloated. In fact, abdominal cramps that come and go in short spurts are extremely common right before a heart attack. Your skin becomes paler or takes on a bluish tint 5:28 Being naturally pale doesn’t necessarily mean you have a heart condition. But sudden paleness can be a result of reduced blood flow due to a heart that’s not pumping blood as effectively as it should be. Shock, which can be caused by any condition that prevents the blood in your body from circulating properly, is the main reason why people who are suffering from a heart attack or heart failure turn pale all of a sudden. Chronic or sudden fatigue 7:02 Fatigue can be one of the main symptoms indicating an impending heart attack. Women are more likely to experience heart-related fatigue than men, with 70% of female heart attack patients reporting that they’d felt extremely tired before their episode. Physical or mental activity isn't the reason for such exhaustion, and it increases by the end of the day if it’s due to a failing heart. It’s really hard for this symptom to go unnoticed. Sometimes it's exhausting just to perform even the simplest tasks, like making the bed or taking a shower. Music: The 126ers - Darkness of My Sun Density & Time - City of Jewels https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS 10. Pain that spreads to the arm 1:01 9. A cough that won't quit 1:38 8. Swollen legs, ankles, and feet 2:25 7. Nausea and loss of appetite 3:07 6. Extreme levels of anxiety 3:47 5. Lightheadedness or fainting 4:26 4. Your skin becomes paler or takes on a bluish tint 5:28 3. Skin rashes or unusual spots 6:20 2. Chronic or sudden fatigue 7:02 1. Increased perspiration 7:45 SUMMARY -If their heart isn’t working properly, a lot of men feel pain in their left arm, while women experience the same pain in either or both arms. -A persistent cough can be a symptom of all kinds of health issues, and cardiovascular disease is one of them. -When your heart isn’t pumping enough blood through the body, fluid from your blood vessels leaks into surrounding tissues. Your lower extremities are the most affected simply due to gravity. -A lot of heart disease patients show a lack of appetite, nausea, or both, even if they've had just a couple bites of food. -People who suffer from extreme anxiety from a very early age or most of their life are more prone to developing coronary heart disease. -Feeling lightheaded and experiencing temporary loss of consciousness, also known in the scientific community as “syncope”, is super common among heart patients. -Sudden paleness can be a result of reduced blood flow due to a heart that’s not pumping blood as effectively as it should be. -People with eczema were found to have a 48% chance of suffering from high blood pressure and a 29% possibility of having high cholesterol. -Sometimes it's exhausting just to perform even the simplest tasks, like making the bed or taking a shower before a heart attack. -People experience flu-like symptoms, have clammy skin, and sweat regardless of the air temperature or physical exertion. Signs You Are Not Getting Enough Potassium. Potassium is one of the body’s most important minerals. It is present in every cell of the human body. In fact, it is one of the body’s four main electrolytes, along with sodium, magnesium and calcium. Being an electrolyte, potassium helps maintain a proper water balance in the body as well as regulate blood pressure. It also plays a role in the digestion of proteins and carbohydrates. Here are the top 10 signs and symptoms that you are not getting enough potassium. 1, Muscle Cramps. 01:02 Frequent muscle cramps, whether during the day or night, is a very common sign of a potassium deficiency. Cramping in the legs, feet and arms is common. Potassium is one of the electrolytes found in all body cells, including muscle and nerve cells. It works with sodium to maintain your cells’ electrical charges, which control muscle contractions and functioning. When this mineral is low in the body, the cells do not send or receive the proper electrical signals to control muscle contractions. This in turn increases the chance of suffering from frequent muscle cramps. The cramps can last from a few seconds to minutes. As significant fluid loss from profuse sweating may cause low levels of potassium, it is important to replenish your body’s potassium after exercise. 2, Muscle Weakness and Damage. 02:02 A low potassium level can have a huge impact on your muscle health. It can impair the function of muscle cells as well as damage the muscles. This leads to profound weakness and muscle stiffness, aching and tenderness. Also, potassium is needed for healing the muscles on a cellular level. Hence, there may also be an increase in muscle tearing or straining with little or no effort. If your muscles feel weak and tired for no apparent reason, you need to get your potassium level checked. 3, General Fatigue. 02:55 Another common symptom of low potassium is a general feeling of fatigue. This kind of fatigue is not due to overexertion or overworking. In fact, the feeling of fatigue and tiredness has no explainable reason. Every cell in the body needs the right amount of potassium to function, and an inadequate amount of this mineral can affect the functioning of cells as well as organs. Thus, a deficiency of this mineral can lead to fatigue and general weakness. 4, Tingling Sensations. 03:45 Potassium is important for the health of your nerves. A low level of this mineral can affect the electrical impulses that pass from the skin and muscles to the spinal cord and brain. This can lead to a loss of sensation along the outer extremities, resulting in the tingling sensations. Usually, this tingling sensation is noticed in the fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms and legs. Low potassium may also contribute to muscle twitching. If you experience tingling sensations in your arms and legs, along with other symptoms mentioned here, there is a strong possibility that you are low in potassium. A simple blood test can confirm this. 5, Heart Palpitations. 04:36 A potassium deficiency can also affect your heart health. It can cause an irregular heartbeat rhythm and heart palpitations for no apparent reason at all. Low potassium can disrupt the rhythmic, coordinated contractions of the heart that are controlled by electrical impulses. On the other hand, an adequate amount of potassium in the body helps protect your heart from heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. No matter what, if you are experiencing heart palpitations, it is important to see a doctor. 6, Mental or Emotional Issues. 05:25 Potassium is important for mental health and brain function. It helps maintain the electrical conductivity of the brain and nerve transmissions. Plus, it plays a key role in transporting serotonin, a neurotransmitter that promotes feelings of well-being and happiness. This is why a low potassium level can contribute to confusion, mood swings, depression, hallucinations and delirium. A 1992 article published in Neuropsychobiology reported a relationship between sodium, magnesium and potassium in depressed patients. 7, Constipation. 06:36 The mineral potassium is important for the digestive system, which is made of smooth muscles that contract rhythmically to aid digestion of food. Low blood levels of potassium can disrupt the functions of the involuntary muscles of the stomach and intestines. Proper functioning of these muscles is needed for digestion, absorption and metabolism to occur. Poor functioning can lead to constipation. 8, High Blood Pressure. 07:21 Potassium helps relax blood vessels, and without enough of it, they can become constricted, which causes blood pressure to rise. Potassium also balances out the negative effects of sodium. When potassium is low, the balance of sodium in the body gets disturbed. This can also affect your blood pressure. WHAT IS THE BENEFITS OF EATING DATES PROMOTING HEART, BRAIN, AND DIGESTIVE HEALTH !! A product of the date palm and cultivated since approximately 6000 B.C, the date fruit is one of the sweetest fruits around and also happens to come in many different varieties. Although dates can be eaten fresh, the fruit is very often dried, resembling raisins or plums. But whether fresh or dry, the health benefits of dates are still just as plentiful. FOLLOW OUR FOOTLOOSE HERE, google plus: https://goo.gl/Duc6BX blogger: dfootloose.blogspot.com twitter: https://twitter.com/FOOTdLOOSE tumblr: dfootloose.tumblr.com pinterest: www.pinterest.com/dfootloose Here are some benefits of eating Dates, 1. Promoting Digestive Health, Relieving Constipation: – Fiber is essential for promoting colon health and making for regular bowel movements. The insoluble and soluble fiber found in dates help to clean out the gastrointestinal system, allowing the colon to work at greater levels of efficiency. Some other benefits relating to fiber and colon health are reduced risks of colitis, colon cancer, and hemorrhoids. (Dates could even be coupled with other home remedies for hemorrhoids) 2. Boosting Heart Health: In addition to promoting colon health, fiber is also known to boost heart health. 3. Anti-Inflammatory: Dates are rich in magnesium – a mineral known for its anti-inflammatory benefits. One study found that “inflammatory indicators in the body such as CRP (C-reactive protein), TNF (tumor necrosis factor alpha), and IL6 (interleukin 6) were all reduced when magnesium intake was increased.” Further, inflammation in the arterial walls was also reduced with magnesium intake. Based on magnesium’s anti-inflammatory properties and the findings of this study, magnesium can effectively reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease, and other inflammation-related health ailments. 4. Reduced Blood Pressure: Magnesium has been shown to help lower blood pressure – and again, dates are full of the mineral. Additionally, potassium is another mineral in dates that has several functions within the body, aiding with the proper workings of the heart and helping to reduce blood pressure. 5. Reduced Stroke Risk : After evaluating 7 studies published over a 14 year time period, researchers found stroke risk was reduced by 9% for every every 100 milligrams of magnesium a person consumes per day. The research can be found in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. A Summary Of Dates Health Benefits: • Weight loss • Relieving constipation, supporting regular bowel movements • Promoting heart health, reducing heart disease risk • Diarrhea • Iron-deficiency anemia • Reducing blood pressure • Impotence • Promoting respiratory and digestive health • Pregnancy deliveries • Hemorrhoid prevention • Chronic conditions such as arthritis • Reducing colitis risk • Preventing colon cancer Don't forget to our channel. https://goo.gl/FncNar

Get it here: https://bit.ly/2PFBcAb Asparagus Benefit In Lowering Blood Pressure - Drop BP Naturally There are many reasons to feast on asparagus, like its impressive concentration of vitamin K and B vitamins, including folate. Folate helps your body make dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine, which is why asparagus is a "feel-good" veggie that may support your mood. Asparagus is also high in glutathione, an important anti-carcinogen, and contains rutin, which protects small blood vessels from rupturing and may protect against the damaging effects of radiation. Asparagus is also a good source of vitamins A, C and E, potassium, and zinc. In addition, asparagus is a veritable superfood for digestive health, featuring both insoluble and soluble fiber along with inulin, a prebiotic that acts as food for beneficial bacteria in your gut. But even beyond adding valuable nutrition to your diet, another reason to eat asparagus regularly has to do with its effect on your heart health, and specifically its beneficial role in fighting high blood pressure. Asparagus May Help Lower High Blood Pressure Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors are commonly prescribed to treat high blood pressure. They work by blocking an enzyme needed to produce a substance that narrows blood vessels. In turn, ACE inhibitor drugs help your blood vessels relax and widen, which allows blood to flow through easier and lowers blood pressure. The problem with ACE inhibitors is their potential for serious side effects, which includes sudden kidney failure that's fatal in 30 percent of those affected. Increased potassium levels, which may lead to serious heart problems, can also occur, as can decrease in sexual function, dizziness, headache, fatigue, liver damage, and depression. Recently, however, researchers uncovered a natural ACE inhibitor in asparagus, and it appears useful for lowering blood pressure. The study revealed a new sulfur-containing metabolite known as asparaptine in asparagus spears. The compound acted as a "new ACE inhibitor," according to the study. In addition, previous research published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry showed that when rats were fed a diet containing 5 percent asparagus for 10 weeks, their systolic blood pressure (the top number) dropped significantly compared to rats fed a non-asparagus diet. The researchers also noted decreased activity of the ACE enzyme, and believe another compound in asparagus, hydroxynicotianamine, may act as an ACE inhibitor as well. The asparagus group also had an increased creatinine clearance rate, which is a measure of how well the kidneys are working. A study in humans also revealed that consuming powdered asparagus (six grams daily for 10 weeks) resulted in significant reductions in blood pressure among 28 healthy volunteers.7 As noted in the Epoch Times: "The research suggests that asparagus has an overall effect of benefitting the kidneys and lowering blood pressure for cases of hypertension." It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg takes about the relationship between insulin resistance, potassium and blood pressure. Blood pressure is a potassium deficiency, not a a sodium excess. However, if someone has a problem with insulin, potassium is even more deficient. Potassium is controlled by insulin. When there is insulin resistance, potassium becomes deficient. By spiking potassium in a pre-diabetic or a diabetic state, the need for insulin can reduce. This Natural Combination Can Clear Your Colon And Lower Your Blood Pressure! The process of digestion culminates in the colon or the large intestine. It is this organ where nutrients, salt and water is absorbed before the food remains are prepared for excretion. The colon has 4 different parts. The cecum is the first part and it is joined tot the small intestine. The anus is the last part. The colon houses good bacteria that help in the digestive process. It is extremely important that this organ be healthy for good digestion and overall health. Why you Should Cleanse your Colon? If there is deposition of toxins in this organ, it will adversely affect the presence of ‘good’ bacteria. this will result in increased population of ‘bad’ bacteria and pathogens. These bacteria will then prevent the colon from absorbing the essential nutrients from food. Lying on your back with your legs extended up the wall, known as Viparita Karani or Legs-Up the Wall by yoga practitioners, is thought to offer benefits for the body and mind. In this restorative pose, you can support your pelvis and lower-back with a bolster or a couple of folded blankets, or you can do it with no props. This pose is suitable for beginners, and you can relax in the position for quite a while, even up to 15-minutes at a time. check out these 5-amazing health-benefits of doing something so simple everyday. 1.Circulation Any time you stand or sit, your body has to work hard to pump blood from your legs back to your heart. In Legs-Up the Wall, your legs are higher than your heart, and gravity can help the circulation of both blood and lymphatic-fluid. This improved circulation can help you recover from your workouts, and it can help control blood-pressure and improve the condition of varicose-veins. 2.It can decrease stress and anxiety Adults and Teens are in a constant flux of stress and anxiety: academics, social pressure and emotional confusion due to changing hormones and a developing brain all cause constant activation of the sympathetic nervous-system or “fight or flight” response. When our bodies are in this state, blood-pressure rises, the digestive-system slows and we tire more quickly. By combining Legs-Up the Wall with mindful breathing, you will start to activate the parasympathetic nervous-system or the “rest and digest” system of the body. Digestion will improve, stress will decrease, anxiety will lower, and the body will have a chance to heal and repair. 3.Improves the immune-system One of the health benefits of legs up the wall pose is its ability to enhance your immune-system. By putting your feet in a vertical position, the lymphatic-system will be stimulated. The movement of lymph in our body plays a vital role in our immune-system because it can remove toxins from our body. A well regulated lymphatic-system also helps balance hormones. 4.It calms the nervous system This posture is designed to relax your whole body. When you combine this pose with rhythmic breathing, you will be able to relax your nervous-system. When you eat food, your stomach will digest it and use it to repair and heal your body. One of the health benefits of legs-up the wall pose is its ability to make your body healthier and you will have a calmer state of mind. 5.Stretch By straightening your legs against the wall, you gently stretch your hamstrings, the muscles on the backs of your thighs. When you perform Legs-Up the Wall with a bolster or blanket supporting your pelvis, you also stretch the front of your torso. You can benefit from this stretch by performing it after a leg-intensive workout such as running. There are many yoga practitioners who greatly benefit by doing the legs up wall pose. Some of the yoga practitioners report that they feel relieved from insomnia, backaches, headaches and digestive-problems.

3 Weeks Take Only Cloves And Say Goodbye To High Blood Pressure ! Natural Remedies This spice has a pronounced spasmolytic effect on the blood vessels and also stimulates the digestive tract. For example, the water made from cloves is taken to improve the digestion of digestive enzymes. Treatment lasts three weeks. The first week of treatment: Pour hot water over 22 cloves and leave overnight. Take one tablespoon three times a day before eating. You can store the water in the refrigerator for two days, then make a new dose. The next week, pour 27 cloves and the third week 32 cloves. After two or three months, you can repeat the treatment. You should not stop taking anti-hypertensive drugs during that time. As a result: arterial pressure gradually diminishes. This way of combating hypertension is effective, but of course, I advise you to consult your doctor. It is important to take into account the course of the disease, the accompanying diseases and the individual characteristics of the organism.

Magnesium is a mineral found in many types of foods, it plays an essential role in human DNA production, repair and in maintaining healthy bones, nerves and muscles. Though it is readily available, most Americans do not meet their need for magnesium through their diet. you should consider getting your magnesium level checked if you suffer the following 11 symptoms. 1. Low energy. Magnesium is involved in at least 300 different chemical reactions in our body, and a lot have to do with energy production. A sign of low magnesium can be low energy. 2.Insomnia. If you're having a hard time falling or staying asleep, it may be due to low levels of magnesium, particularly if you are experiencing a lot of stress. Stress hormones increase blood pressure and heart rate, this is partly accomplished by depleting the body of its magnesium If there isn't enough magnesium available for the body to replenish itself, sleeping becomes a problem. 3.Constipation. Bowel movements often slow down without enough magnesium in the body. note that magnesium is the main ingredient in many over-the-counter laxatives. 4.Frequent headaches. Magnesium deficiency lowers serotonin levels, causes blood vessels to constrict and affects neurotransmitter function, all related to headaches -- especially migraines. 50% of migraine sufferers have a magnesium deficiency. 5.Twitching or cramping. Because magnesium plays an important role in muscle relaxation, insufficient intake can result in unintended muscle movement. Without magnesium, our muscles would be in a constant state of contraction 6.Low bone density. Magnesium plays a major role in bone formation, and the majority of the body's magnesium is stored in the bones. People with higher intakes of magnesium have a higher bone mineral density. 7.High blood pressure. Magnesium is very important in maintaining a healthy blood pressure, a deficiency can definitely cause pressure to be too high. Eating foods high in magnesium and other minerals can help prevent high blood pressure in people with prehypertension. 8.Type 2 diabetes. Breaking down blood sugars is another of magnesium's jobs in the human body. People with higher amounts of magnesium in their diets tend to have a lower risk of developing diabetes. Research is ongoing to determine whether magnesium therapy can be used in diabetes treatment. 9.Irregular heartbeat. With low magnesium levels, the heart can have trouble staying in its regular rhythm. doctors will often prescribe magnesium supplements for patients who complain of an irregular heartbeat. 10.Increased sensitivity to noise. Not having enough magnesium curtails its role in stabilizing the nervous system, This often results in hyperflexia, an enhanced startle reflex. And 11. Depression and anxiety. Low levels of magnesium in the brain can affect neurological functions that result in all sorts of problems. Studies have shown that some phobias -- such as agoraphobia -- have developed as a result of low magnesium levels. Turmeric has become a popular health food in recent years, with some touting it as an anti-oxidant or way to lower blood pressure. Now, new Taiwanese research suggests it might bring relief to digestive problems. But nutritionists have cast doubt on the validity of the study, saying the sample is too small and the results inconclusive.A delicious turmeric curry. In a study, 11 men with digestive problems took 1200 milligrams of turmeric a day. An hour after their 3 capsule dose, they drank down a large bowl of thick soup. Participants’ stomachs were found to empty 25% faster during the study. But some nutritionists are cautious about the validity of the data.Hsia Tzu-wenNutritionistThe dose is really rather large, but the sample is not that big. It may not be conclusive evidence concerning turmeric’s ability to boost digestion or gastric emptying. I think generally people should remember to eat plenty of fruit and veg, and if you are really prone to flatulence, you might want to avoid certain types of foods. Things like sugar-free yoghurt can help the probiotics in your gut. This nutritionist says more research may be needed. She also has these tips on how to consume turmeric.Hsia Tzu-wenNutritionistIf you add turmeric to your meal, put it with something lipid soluble, which will make it easier to digest and absorb. It’s like beta-Carotene, which people are always mentioning, which is fat-soluble. Eat it together with oil and more will get absorbed. She also advises that because turmeric is so dry, it can exacerbate gastric ulcers and acid reflux.

It sounds logical that adding fat to the body will increase more fat in the arteries and on the body, however, that’s not how it works. Hormones turn calories into different things. The main hormone insulin is responsible for changing carbs into clogged arteries and fat on your body. If you keep insulin low by keeping carbs low - the dietary fat will not clog the arteries nor will it end up making you fat. Insulin is very inflammatory and can also start the progressive inflammatory process of your arteries. Hey guys, dr. berg here and in this video we are going to talk about will doing a high fat ketogenic diet clog your arteries. Just from the pure observation of eating more fat and a fatty clogged artery, it sounds logical that if you were to eat fat you are going to get a clogged artery. It sounds logical that you would eat more fat and then get more fat in your body but it is not how it works in the body because in the body there is a various hormones that tell certain types of calories what to convert into and the hormone that tells the body whether to clog or clean out the artery really is called insulin. Insulin is like the switch that converts fat into the body storage and also clogs arteries. Insulin is a very inflammatory hormone if you have too much of it you could get a lot of inflammation which can set you up for a whole series of events from the body starts healing the inflammation in the arteries with a combination of the cholesterols, calcium and fibrous kind of a connective tissue to form a little bit of a clot. What started that would be the high levels of insulin, not necessarily consuming cholesterol. Cholesterol is made by almost every single cell in the body. Your body makes about 3,000mg of cholesterol every single day. 3,000mg of cholesterol is equal to 300 strips of bacon, about a pound of butter or 14 eggs. Your body makes a lot of cholesterol. When you consume more fat, your body just makes less. That’s how it works. What really creates this clogged arteries is high levels of insulin by consuming too many carbohydrates. If you were to cut your carbohydrates down, like the breads, pasta, cereal, crackers, things like that, and sugar. If you would cut that down, you would notice your cholesterol would go way down. Also your triglycerides and your bad cholesterol will go way down. If you were to increase the sugar and the insulin, your cholesterol goes up and you should even experiment yourself to see if this is true for you. But what I want to give you is I have a little mini course that is very quick and you can probably get it done in maybe 20 minutes on ketosis to give you the basics. I show you how it works, what to eat, the tweaks that I am going to recommend and the side effects. DR. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE | HYPERTENSION | HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT IN URDU/HINDI HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE: High blood pressure is also known as hypertension, caused by the increase in blood circulation in the body. If it is not treated on time, it can cause brain haemorrhage, coma and even death. For this reason it is vital that it be taken proper care of. The most important thing to know about high blood pressure control what it exactly it, what causes and what are the ways to treat this health condition. Heart Pumping and Blood Pressure: Human body contains 5-6 liters of blood depending on the sex and age. Almost 5 liters of blood passes through the heart and is purified every second. Heart separates deoxygenated blood from oxygenated blood, send the deoxygenated blood to the lungs for getting oxygen and the oxygenated blood to all part of the body. This process is done by the contraction & relaxation of the heart muscles, each cycle called a heart beat. After purifying the blood, it delivers the blood to all body parts through veins and arteries. The amount of heart beats depends on the flow of blood from the heart. If the pressure of blood flow is high, the heart beat rate will also be higher. Same is the other way around. This increased or decreased blood pressure causes the veins & valves to contract and expand accordingly putting pressure on the blood vessels and the heart. Symptoms: Headache Vomit Low energy level Weak eye sight Improper working of digestive system How to measure the blood pressure & its diagnosis: The first step in high blood pressure treatment is diagnosing whether a patient has high BP of low. If the blood circulation is 140 / 90 torr or higher, then it will be categorized as high blood pressure. 139 / 89 torr pressure is known as pre-hyper tension, which indicates that it is the starting point of blood pressure. Diagnosis process needs to be carried according to following parameters: Sample should be examined three times in a week. If the blood pressure of the patient is very high then one should wait for half hour then check the blood pressure again. The blood pressure is measured with a strip and from upper part of arm. BP is measured in “mmhg”, which is known as Cardiac Output or heart rate; increased heart rate indicates high blood pressure. According to the American Heart Association blood pressure in measured in two parameters; Dialectic mmhg and Systolic mmhg. In a healthy human being, the level of systolic & dialectic blood mmhg should be according to the following figures. Systolic mmhg: hypertension 90, 90 – 119 Dialectic mmhg: hypertension 60, 60 – 79 High Blood Pressure Treatment: It important to avoid the things that cause high blood pressure in the first place. Hypertension is divided into five stages, first two stages are not very dangerous and by self precautions, you can prevent severe hypertension. At this stage patient should avoid foods with high fats, smoking & exercise regularly. Salt is the main cause of high blood pressure and drug therapy & Beta blockers are suggested for the patients. Eating a healthy diet and emphasizing on natural diet like fruits and vegetables can help control blood pressure a lot. If you have developed High BP, it is very important that you get checkup every now and then. Lastly, it depends on you that how much you are willing to control hypertension. Take things lightly, take exercise, take some time out for yourself away from routine life, go out with friends and add fun to your life. You won’t even know when you came out of it. BP and Gastric problems cured in Nadipathy Hypertension (B.P) Treatment in Nadipathy Hypertension (B.P) is the pressure of the blood against the walls of the arteries. Your heart pumps blood through a network of arteries, veins, and capillaries. The moving blood pushes against the arterial walls, and this force is measured as blood pressure. Blood pressure results from two forces. The heart creates one force as it pumps blood into the arteries and through the circulatory system. The other is the force of the arteries as they resist the blood flow. The higher, systolic number represents the pressure while the heart contracts to pump blood to the body. The lower, diastolic number represents the pressure when the heart relaxes between beats. The systolic pressure is always stated first and the diastolic pressure second. The blood pressure below 120 over 80 mmHg (millimeters of mercury) is considered ideal for adults. A systolic pressure of 120 to 139 mmHg or a diastolic pressure of 80 to 89 mmHg is considered "pre–hypertension" and needs to be watched carefully. A blood pressure reading of 140 over 90 or higher is considered elevated or high. High blood pressure usually has no symptoms. In fact, many people have high blood pressure for years without knowing it. That's why it's called the "silent killer." Affects of Hypertension: Enlarged heart Eye damage Liver damage Kidney damage Paralysis Hardening of arteries Tremors (Shivering fingers) For more information: Blog:http://hypertensiontreatmentinnadipathy.blogspot.in/ Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo6P3QEBwN8&list=PLmYxb4HnTMmHIAKF_JBxXug8C4yD34KBX Gastric problem treatment in Nadipathy The formation of unwanted gases in the digestive and intestinal tract, that suffers the whole body is called gastric problem. Gas is air in the digestive tract. Everyone has gas. However, many people think they pass gas too often and that they have too much gas. Having too much gas is rare. Gas is primarily composed of carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and sometimes methane. Flatus, gas passed through the anus, may also contain small amounts of gasses that contain sulphur. Flatus that contains more sulphur gasses has more odours. Gas in the digestive tract is usually caused by swallowing air and by the breakdown of certain foods in the large intestine by bacteria. Most foods that contain carbohydrates can cause gas. In contrast, fats and proteins cause little gas. Foods that produce gas in one person may not cause gas for someone else. Watch more Healthy Eating videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/432350-How-to-Reduce-Bad-Cholesterol A little attention to detail never hurt anyone and may have benefits if it involves monitoring what you put in your body. Reduce your bad cholesterol through simple disciplined measures that are proven to help. Step 1: Disrupt fat with exercise Use exercise to naturally disrupt the metabolism of fat. Eating less helps, but excess body fat will keep cholesterol up until you actually lose pounds by breaking a sweat. Moderate walking and workouts five days a week can raise good cholesterol by 10 percent. Tip The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health suggests everyone 20 and over should check their levels of bad cholesterol every five years. Step 2: Relax and reflect Relax and reflect periodically, rather than give in to the high tension that constricts arteries and raises blood pressure. If you're constantly stressing out, consider making some long-term changes that will eliminate some of your stres for good. Step 3: Get good greens Drink green tea, full of compounds that can help lower bad cholesterol. Eat leafy greens as well, for soluble fiber that sponges up cholesterol in the digestive tract. Step 4: Consume nuts Consume nuts instead of cheese, meat, or croutons in salads. According to the Food and Drug Administration, a daily handful of 42.5 grams of nuts may reduce cholesterol and the risk of heart disease. Step 5: Substitute fish Substitute meat with fish twice or three times weekly. Consuming fish can profoundly lower cholesterol and triglycerides. Step 6: Choose smart fats Select smart fats for your diet, substituting canola or olive oils for vegetable oil, butter, margarine, lard, or shortening. It's not merely fats, but the kind of fats you eat, that make the difference. Tip Eggs do not drastically increase cholesterol. Step 7: Take drugs to lower cholesterol Take a cholesterol-lowering drug if you have evident cardiovascular risks. Beforehand, consider alternatives like niacin, bile acid resins, and fibrates. Step 8: Commit to win Resolve to make changes, and live a healthy lifestyle. It's your life -- only you can make the changes to lower your bad cholesterol. Did You Know? In 2010, researchers identified nearly 100 gene variants possibly linked to as much as one third of hereditary factors influencing cholesterol production.

The breathing techniques that start off this Yogea routine are a blend of Qi-Gong and Pranayama and involve the utilization of "Mudras" to help seal life force in the body. By activating pressure points, used in acupuncture, while breathing deeply and consciously practitioners can reduce high blood pressure on their own, improving symptoms of heart failure. The adequately strung poses that include pacifying forward bends, supine twists, grounding and standing poses and semi-inversions help ease palpitations, enhance cardiac rehabilitation and aid in lowering cardiovascular risk factors such as cholesterol levels, blood sugar and stress hormones. The routine improves breathing and sleep pattern, normalizes weight, and decreases the pulse rate, while increasing energy levels. The slow-pace invites practitioners to execute the poses cautiously with balance and concentration. As a result the postural alignment is fixed, the poise and steadiness grow, the attention focus comes back, the memory is enhanced and the mood swings stabilized. Furthermore, the spine and the joints become supple. At the end of the practice inner peace ensues. This enables the practitioner to tread life with purpose and direction. If you are experiencing a high rise or drop in blood pressure or any related condition, consult your doctor prior to engaging in this practice.

Also, the antibacterial properties it contains makes it harder for viruses to thrive, which has the benefit of boosting our immunity. 2. It can also help to improve digestion. This is achieved since coconut oil can help our bodies to absorb fat-soluble vitamins, including magnesium and calcium. Gut health is also improved since it can destroy bad bacteria while improving good bacteria. This can be beneficial for those individuals who are struggling with symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome or stomach ulcers. As well, the saturated fats found in this healthy oil have antimicrobial properties, which can help deal with different fungi and parasites that can lead to indigestion. Digestion is also improved as the absorption of nutrients and amino acids is increased. 3. Consuming coconut oil can also have tremendous benefits for our skin. It is used as an effective face cleanser and moisturizer. This can allow your skin to look more radiant and appear less dry while dos preventing dryness and flaking. When applied topically, it can also be effecting in treating various skin problems and ailments, including eczema, psoriases and less complication skin infections. The high amount of antioxidants found in coconut oil means that it can benefit the skin when consumed as well. These antioxidants can prevent and delay the appearance of wrinkles and age-spots. 4. Another benefits of consuming coconut oil is that it can help with weight loss. As studies have shown, the short and medium-chain fatty acids it contains can help to lose excessive weight since it can boost the body’s metabolic rate by boosting the function of the pancreas. This allows for more calories to be burnt through out the day and lead to greater weight loss. As well, these fats are digested and converted into energy more easily then other fats or dietary sources. 5. Coconut oil is great for our heart and overall cardiovascular health. Coconut oil contains a good amount of natural saturated fats. These fats differ from other saturated fats however in the fact that they are are medium-chain fatty acids consisting of different types of healthy fatty acids. These fats in coconut oil are processed differently from long-chain fatty acids from plant-based sources, and are more quickly digested and turned into energy. As well, these natural saturated fats can help to increase “good” HDL cholesterol in the body, while also converting “bad” LDL cholesterol into good cholesterols. This lowers the risk of heart disease and promotes overall heart health. If that wasn’t enough, coconut oil can also lower high triglyceride levels and decrease high blood pressure. 6. Lastly, consuming coconut oil consistently can be beneficial for those individuals who struggle with type 2 diabetes. The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil can help to balance the insulin reaction in our cells and promote healthy digestion. This again will promote the health of our pancreas and decrease the amount of strain put on it while giving the body a consistent energy source not dependent on glucose reactions. This has the benefit of preventing type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance. DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational and informational purposes only. Walking is a totally free, easy exercise that requires little effort, and benefits not only your physical but also your mental well-being. If you’re looking for a simple yet very effective way of losing weight and improving your overall health, walking is something just for you. People who are physically active throughout their life are much less prone to this disease than those who have a more sedentary lifestyle. And that’s because they have more volume in their hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for verbal memory and learning. A daily half-hour walk helps avoid serious problems, like coronary heart disease to name one, by lowering high blood pressure and cholesterol levels and improving blood circulation. Because of better-quality and deeper breathing, some symptoms associated with lung disease can show significant improvement thanks to walking. Muscle tone and weight loss is also totally achievable through simple walking. Find your optimal pace, but don’t break out into a jog. This sort of speed walking is low impact and doesn’t require any recovery time, which means no sore muscles to keep you from getting out and walking the next day. The Arthritis Foundation recommends at least 30 minutes of moderate walking a day to reduce pain, stiffness, and inflammation in the joints. Building strong bones will help you prevent osteoporosis and reduce bone loss. Walking contributes to better blood circulation within the spinal structures, pumping important nutrients into the soft tissues and improving posture and flexibility, both of which are vital for a healthy spine. A group of researchers at Iowa State University worked with hundreds of college students. Walking changed their mood for the better, even though no one warned them it could do so. If you still don’t feel motivated enough to start walking for your health, try joining a class or find a buddy who also wouldn’t mind getting all the benefits of walking. Another idea could be to hire a personal trainer. At Sai Sanjivani, diet chart is given depending on your stage of kidney disease, lifestyle, weight, and blood test results. - Right amount of protein in your diet Protein is needed to build and repair tissues. During digestion of protein, waste products (creatinine and urea) are made. When kidneys stops working, the kidneys have trouble in removing these waste products from the body. To keep urea and creatinine building up in the body, you need to reduce protein intake in your body. - A low- potassium diet High potassium levels can be dangerous for kidney patients. Potassium is a very significant body mineral and people with kidney disease need to restrict their potassium intake as failed kidneys will not be able to remove enough potassium from your body. Potassium levels higher than 7.0 mmol/L may cause heart attack. Limiting potassium in your diet is very essential, many fruits and vegetables are rich in potassium. Process of "leaching" can reduce potassium in vegetables. HIGH POTASSIUM VEGETABLES TO AVOID LOW POTASSIUM VEGETABLES TO EAT Potato Brinjal Sweet potato Ladyfinger Turnip Bottle gourd Arbi Round gourd Beetroot Peas Spinach Parwal Cauliflower Karela Methi Tomato Cabbage Coriander Broccili Fruits to avoid : Banana, Kiwi, dry fruits and khajoor - No need to reduce the consumption of roti - Vegetables should be low in potassium. - People with high blood pressure should cut back on salt lower blood pressure. - Kidney patients can consume rice but if the patient is diabetic then he/she should avoid it. - Sweets are not allowed for diabetic patients. - 1 cup of fruit in a day is sufficient for all kidney failure patients. 9 Food items That Damages Kidney https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuZO75MPw3U&t=4s 10 Herbs For Kidney Detox https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZCZmOgqdEs&t=44s Yoga & Breathing Exercise in Kidney Failure (CKD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBNHT6rF8Gs&t=112s Kidney failure treatment Testimonial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocC5cY1wONs&t=1s Kidney Shrinkage Causes & Treatment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IHV3uG7D2Y&t=278s Reduce creatinine at home without dialysis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIyXsbRVQxE&t=22s Diabetic Nephropathy Treatment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My97bmpsCpU&t=21s IgA Nephropathy Treatment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEYHVWbJeQA&t=309s Creatinine and its management https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTs6Ym71X_M&t=234s Dialysis and kidney failure treatment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AHKH4Cs3lY&t=36s Analgesic nephropathy treatment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZ2lFOgvW8s&t=34s Nephrotic syndrome treatment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPMwbU6XyJM&t=30s 7 Tips to Control Creatinine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBbAWk8imMY 16 कारण किडनी ख़राब होने के 16 Reasons for Kidney Failure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF7EXgye3hw&t=90s Kidney Performance Test किडनी टेस्ट https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ4MU1R5Wx8&t=17s Repair Kidney with Baking Soda Naturally https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovzAXrbLsiE&t=59s Tips to Control Proteinuria in CKD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTDJIRAprps Signs of Kidney Damage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aNazYJcWNw&t=1s Diet In Kidney Failure simplified https://youtu.be/H2b4St_obNM 8 tips to Avoid Kidney Dialysis & Transplant https://youtu.be/roAE-wm7U1o Kidney Failure Treatment किडनी फेल का प्राकृतिक इलाज https://youtu.be/BmmQn2BVUoI Diet In Kidney Failure simplified https://youtu.be/H2b4St_obNM 8 tips to Avoid Kidney Dialysis & Transplant https://youtu.be/roAE-wm7U1o Low Potassium Diet in Kidney Failure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5wleaHM-aE&t=21s

Glycemic Index: The “glycemic index” is a term used to describe the blood glucose response to a particular food. The glycemic index is a method of ranking the effects of carb-based foods based on their effects on blood sugar - refers to how quickly sugar reaches the bloodstream after food consumption. High-GI foods pass rapidly through your digestive system and into your bloodstream, driving up your blood glucose levels and causing insulin to spike. Low-GI foods, on the other hand, pass more slowly through the digestive system and enter the bloodstream gradually, which keeps insulin levels low (1,2) Slow Carb: Your gut quickly absorbs high-GI carbs and spikes your blood sugar, resulting in high insulin that can increase storage of belly fat, increases inflammation, raises triglycerides and lowers HDL, raises blood pressure, lowers testosterone in men, and contributes to infertility in women. High-fiber, low-sugar carbs, are slowly digested and don’t lead to blood sugar and insulin spikes. These slow carbs reduce cancer risk and increase your body’s ability to detoxify (3) Blood Glucose and Insulin: When your blood glucose and insulin move up and down rapidly or stay high it disrupts your natural blood glucose balance. This can lead to your body having trouble responding to your blood glucose levels, which may contribute to insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is associated with many health problems - type 2 Diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease (4) Study: A study published in August 2015 in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition analyzed data from about 70,000 postmenopausal women. They found that women who had higher dietary glycemic index intake had increased odds of developing depression within the three-year study. They also found that higher consumption of added sugars was associated with depression risk. On the other hand, women who ate more fiber, fruits, and vegetables (which often have lower glycemic indexes) were shown to have a lower chance of developing depression, per the study’s findings. Researchers suggested that the association may be due to many different mechanisms. Refined carbohydrates contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular disease, which are all associated with depression (5) Low GI Food Benefits Summed - Increase the body's sensitivity to insulin, improve diabetes control, reduce hunger and keep you fuller for longer, minimize carb cravings, and minimize energy crashes References: 1) Glycemic Index and Glycemic Load | Linus Pauling Institute | Oregon State University. What happens at 26 weeks pregnant? It is really common for the kid to give you gas and bloating as the hormones affect digestion, hemorrhoids and constipation because of pressure on the digestive tract, and water the baby pulls out of your system – While I pee for two. The baby should be able to hear you now, more than just noise above the heartbeat and stomach growling, and make out a variety of tones. Do I need to break out the headphones on my stomach? The kid is hardly going to be able to distinguish your voice from anyone else’s, but Mozart or rap that loud in the kid’s world won’t help his development, but might hurt his developing ears. Now I have an excuse to sell that thing my mother in law gave me. Keep the soft music tapes to help the kid go to sleep. The baby is breathing the amniotic fluid, and the layers of surfactant are forming so it could actually act as an interface with the air. Except it gets all the oxygen from me. He can suck his thumb, too, if he gets it to his mouth, though he cannot eat. The baby is around fourteen inches, head to heels, and almost two pounds. I do not know if it is a boy or a girl. If you’re having a boy, the boy part has been visible in sonograms for several weeks, but the testicles should start descending, though that may not be visible until the eighth or ninth month. I’ve heard that sometimes does not happen right. Doctors know how to take care of that. What you need to take care of is getting enough rest, getting enough water and not getting your heart rate or blood pressure too high. I know I need water and fiber to not get hemorrhoids, though I don’t believe that is as painful as childbirth. Why is blood pressure a concern? Your blood pressure will probably start rising, but you need to rush to the ER if you start having blurred vision, pounding headaches and really high blood pressure. You just said it should be going up. Pre-eclampsia is a condition where the blood pressure rises so fast and so high that it becomes dangerous. You may turn puffy, have sudden swelling of your ankles and feet, sensitivity to light or pass out – and that’s a precursor to early labor or other complications. What’s the treatment? Delivery. I never thought I’d say this, but hemorrhoids do not sound that bad.

Carbohydrates and Blood Sugar. When people eat a food containing carbohydrates, the digestive system breaks down the digestible ones into sugar, which enters the blood. As blood sugar levels rise, the pancreas produces insulin, a hormone that prompts cells to absorb blood sugar for energy or storage. Specific Digestive Disorders Linked to Increase in Cardiovascular disease http://healthnewswires.com/digestive-disorders-increase-heart-attacks/ People experiencing inflammatory bowel condition, especially Crohns and Colitis, showed to be at an enhanced risk of cardiac arrest and stroke. Information from a study of over 150,000 people with inflamed bowel condition (IBD) showed in between a 10 % and 25 % boost in cardiovascular disease and stroke danger. Surprisingly, females with IBD were more at risk than guys. Knowing this info, IBD sufferers have to be specifically sure they are decreasing various other risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke, including maintaining healthy weight, controlling blood pressure, stopping metabolic syndrome and diabetes. IBD affects over 1.5 million individuals in the United States; Crohns and Colitis are most prevalent. Signs of IBD include swelling in the intestinal tracts, diarrhea, bloating, crowding and gas. Signs could be managed with a healthy diet regimen, by managing or reducing stress, and taking part in regular exercise. Nutritional supplementation with probiotics have likewise shown to be reliable in reducing the signs associated with many forms of IBD. Supplementing with probiotics make certain that great bacteria make up the advised 85 % of bacteria in the intestinal system.

During digestion, carbohydrates in food are broken down into glucose which is carried by the bloodstream to various organs of the body. Glucose is taken up by the cells and is either consumed as an energy source or stored for later use. Insulin is a hormone produced by beta cells of the pancreas and is necessary for driving glucose into cells. Binding of insulin to its receptor on target cells triggers a signaling cascade that brings glucose transporters to the cell membrane. When insulin is deficient, glucose cannot enter the cells; it stays in the blood, causing high blood sugar levels while the cells are deprived of nutrition. This results in unexplained weight loss and increased hunger. As blood sugar level exceeds the ability of the kidneys to reabsorb, it overflows into urine, taking water along with it, resulting in large volumes of urine, dehydration and excessive thirst. In the long run, too much sugar in the blood may cause damages to blood vessels, resulting in increased risks of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack and stroke. Damaged vessels in the eyes may lead to loss of vision; while in the kidneys, renal failure may result. High blood sugar is also toxic to the nerves, resulting in numbness, tingling and reduced pain perception. This, together with impaired wound healing can lead to development of skin ulcers, most commonly in the feet. Acute hyperglycemic crises may develop when diabetic patients undergo additional stress such as infections, other illness or inadequate treatment. These complications involve severe disturbances of blood homeostasis and are potentially life-threatening. There are two major types of diabetes mellitus. In type 1, beta cells of the pancreas are destroyed by the body’s own immune system by mistake. The exact mechanism remains unclear, but genetic factors are believed to play a major role, with at least 50 genes involved in predisposition to the disease. Insulin production is reduced; less insulin binds to its receptor on target cells; less glucose is taken into the cells; more glucose stays in the blood. Type 1 is characterized by early onset, symptoms usually start suddenly, before the age of 20. Type 1 diabetes is “insulin dependent” and can be successfully managed with insulin replacement. In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas produces enough insulin but something goes wrong either with receptor binding or the signaling cascade in the target cells. The cells are not responsive to insulin and therefore cannot import glucose. Type 2 diabetics are said to be “insulin resistant”. Here again, genetic factors predispose susceptibility to the disease, but lifestyle plays a major role. Type 2 is characterized by adult onset; symptoms appear gradually, usually after the age of 30. Management focuses on weight loss and includes a low-carb diet.

Gastric problem treatment in Nadipathy The formation of unwanted gases in the digestive and intestinal tract, that suffers the whole body is called gastric problem. Symptoms of gastric problem: Excessive Gas Indigestion Abdominal pain Acid Indigestion Heartburn Bloating Distension For more information: Blog: http://gastricproblemtreatmentinnadipathy.blogspot.in/ Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmYxb4HnTMmHBiJaqu97lql7NAvbJoFt7 Hypertension (B.P) Treatment in Nadipathy Hypertension (B.P) is the pressure of the blood against the walls of the arteries. That's why it's called the "silent killer." Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week! http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Water Retention: 3 Foods to Reduce Bloating- Thomas DeLauer… What is a Diuretic? Diuretics are sometimes called ‘water tablets’ and are designed to increase the amount of water and salt expelled from the body as urine (termed diuresis) They help get rid of excess fluid by removing sodium and chloride from the body in the urine - the sodium and chloride in turn draw excess water from the body. Too much salt can cause extra fluid to build up in your blood vessels, raising your blood pressure. There are different types of prescribed diuretics acting on different levels of a nephron (the smallest unit of kidney) The basic mechanism seen in most of them is that they act on pumps of a nephron, which means that they decrease the absorption of sodium from urine, and thus more water remains in the urine. (1) Use of Diuretics: Doctors prescribe diuretics when the body is retaining too much fluid. The following conditions may require the regulation of fluid in the body or result in fluid retention: High blood pressure, congestive heart failure, kidney dysfunction, edema (tissue swelling, such as in swollen legs and feet) Diuretics lower your blood pressure by flushing salt out of your body, which causes the walls of your blood vessel to relax and widen - easier for your blood to flow through. Congestive heart failure keeps your heart from pumping blood effectively throughout your body: this leads to a buildup of fluids in your body, which is called edema. Diuretics help reduce this fluid buildup. Prescription diuretics may cause some side effects. These include fatigue, muscle cramps, lightheadedness, rash, and headaches. (1,2,3) Natural Diuretics: Some herbs and dietary supplements have diuretic properties that may be helpful to you and won’t provide any negative side effects. Asparagus: It contains high levels of the amino acid asparagine, which serves as a natural diuretic, and increased urination not only releases fluid but helps rid the body of excess salts. Asparagine also benefits our central nervous system by helping with the maintenance of balance or equilibrium – keeps you from being overly calm or nervous. Also essential for the proper functioning and health of our nerves and other cells of the body, It controls their metabolism in the brain. Dandelion Leaves: Full of vitamins A, B, C, and D, as well as minerals, such as iron, potassium, and zinc. Dandelion leaves are used to add flavor to salads, sandwiches, and teas. Dandelion leaves act as a diuretic, increasing the amount of urine your body makes. The leaves are used to stimulate the appetite and help digestion. Dandelion flower has antioxidant properties. In one study (Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine) dandelion leaves were ingested by volunteers to investigate whether an increased urinary frequency and volume would result. Volume of urinary output and fluid intake were recorded by subjects. For the entire population, 17 subjects, there was a significant increase (5%) in the frequency of urination in just 5 hours after the first dose. You can find dandelion herbs and roots fresh or dried in a variety of forms, including tinctures, liquid extract, teas, tablets, and capsules (4) Parsley: Parsley is one of the best natural diuretics for edema treatment and fluid retention. Parsley increases urine output by acting as an aquaretic, meaning it acts to increase water excretion from the body without affecting electrolytes such as sodium and potassium the way most conventional diuretic drugs do. Parsley’s effect on your body’s electrolytes is largely neutral. Parsley herb extracts have been studied as natural diuretics in combination with another aquaretic, asparagus.
