Spooner the Dog with Breast Cancer
I'm a Jack Russell Terrier named Spooner. On June 23, 2010, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The cancer had spread rapidly and surgery was not an option. I told my owner I would like to make a video to help other owner's learn to detect the cancer early in their puppies life. Today I felt really good and made the video (it's not the quality but the information that counts). I hope I have helped to save at least one puppy. If my mom decides to make a foundation to help treat breast cancer animals, I would love for her to use Kentucky blue with a white paw print for the logo :)

It all Started when my 13 years old white Maltese (Bilu) collapse on the flour and couldn't breathe. I picked up his lifeless little body as fast as I could, his tongues was blue and had curled all the way into his throat and he couldn't breathe. I yelled his name in a panic sound, and began to gently pull his tongue out not allowing it to block his airway. although this horrible scene only lasted about 40 seconds it seemed like an eternity. At first we thought he had chocked on a chicken bone or something (since I found a bone near by). But this fiasco happened again. We rush him to the vet, lo and behold they had an X ray done and found out he had a cancer tumor larger then his heart located around the heart and lungs. The tumor was so big the vet said all his organs were failing and that he would not be able to breathe. The vet told us that the loving thing to do was to put him to sleep. We came home devastated that day, everyone were crying (specially because we lost Sandy our loving yorkie about six months ago for the very same problem lungs cancer). We seriously contemplated putting him to sleep, specially because he fainted again. But something in me wouldn't give up hope. I began praying for healing and asking God for a solution. That's when a documentary I watched a few years ago came to my mind "THE GERSON MIRACLE" also "HEALING CANCER FROM THE INSIDE OUT"... So I immediately got Bilu off his nasty Walmart food (Purina) which in my opinion was responsible for giving him cancer. I began cooking organic chicken breast and organic brown rice and vegetables. besides I began juicing organic carrots, celery, kale, broccoli, mint and injecting in his mouth via syringe every 4-5 hours... Also I began giving him omega oils 3-9. I began feeding him multi vitamin and I forgot to share on the video. I began giving him organic apple-cider vinegar raw, besides lemon water to make his body alkaline. Also I am giving him Kombucha. Less than 3 weeks Bilu has appeared to have been fully healed, all the symptoms left. He is happy, he eats twice a day, he has been chasing cats around the backyard. This is amazing because Bilu was not able to walk but now he is fully healed from cancer. Bilu has not fainted or shown any signs of sickness.... all my praises goes to my wonderful heavenly father above Jesus Christ, who created us in His image and gave us everything we need to stay healthy (fruits and vegetables). I am compelled to share this video because I know so many people this very moment (As I write) are devastated to know that their wonderful pet friend has cancer. If this is you my friend, DO NOT GIVE UP, BILU HAS BEEN HEALED FROM CANCER, BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU!!! IF BILU WAS HEALED YOUR DOG CAN BE HEALED AS WELL... PLEASE IF you have any questions, don'y hesitate to contact me. my direct email is mq4bibletruth@yahoo.com PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE THAT ARE HURTING BECAUSE OF THEIR PETS, PLEASE FORWARD THIS VIDEO TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.... ALSO, THIS TREATMENT WORKS ALSO FOR HUMAN BEINGS... PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW.... IF YOU HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS CANCER RESEARCH "GERSON MIRACLE.... ALSO WWW.MODERNMANNA.ORG THESE TREATMENTS WORK VERY WELL FOR CANCER PATIENTS AS WELL AS ANIMALS... I REALLY HOPE AND PRAY THAT MY EFFORTS WILL HELP AT LEAST ONE PERSON OUT THERE... PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHARE YOUR SUCCESS STORY WITH ME... MAY GOD BLESS YOU MARDOQUEU SILVA

The dogs trained to spot cancer- BBC News
Trials in the UK are currently assessing if dogs could be used to detect prostate cancer at an early stage. One study shows that specially trained dogs can pick up the presence of such cancer in urine samples in 93% of cases. Politician Iain Duncan Smith's wife Betsy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, and became involved with the charity Medical Detection Dogs. In an exclusive film for the Victoria Derbyshire programme, he says he wants to see it rolled out across the UK’s health service. Scientists turn to dogs to help detect breast cancer
Dogs could help screen for breast cancer: that's what a collaboration between a dog training business near Limoges and the Curie Cancer Institute is hoping to find. The K-Dog project trains dogs to use their sense of smell to pick up on the tumours. The non-invasive method could revolutionise testing for the cancer, which affects nearly one in ten women in France.

Breast cancer in dogs
My sweet tinkerbell has breast cancer. She is an older dog and I have elected not to put her through surgery or chemo/radiation. I have chosen to take it day by day until she shows signs of needing pain meds and give her the best quality of life I can while she feels well. Getting your dogs fixed before first cycle can reduce chances and f this happening! Tinkerbell was never fixed. My heart is incredibly broken but I want to educate others on this.

Woman believes dog detected breast cancer
ROCHESTER, Minn. (WKRC) -- Most dog owners will tell you their dog can do some impressive tricks but one dog might have just saved her owner's life. Tara Leonard said she was lying in bed when her dog, Willow, acted out of character. She said the dog jumped up on the bed and put her nose to her left side. Tara told the dog to stop but Willow was persistent and eventually sneezed on the woman. When she went to wipe it off she felt a lump in her breast. She went to see a doctor right away and was diagnosed with breast cancer. The best part of the story: Tara is now cancer free with a whole new love for her dog! Strudel - Canine Mammary Cancer Survivor
Strudel is one of the dogs involved in the Shelter Canine Mammary Tumor Program at the University of Pennsylvania. The purpose of the program is to provide care to shelter dogs with mammary tumors that are homeless and without access to the care they need to survive. Mammary tumors in dogs and breast cancer in women have many similarities, both in terms of risk factors and biology. By providing care to these dogs veterinarians - - such as Dr. Karin Sorenmo, an ACVIM Board-certified Oncologist - - can also help advance the knowledge of breast cancer biology by studying the early molecular alterations associated with tumor development and progression. Such research can improve our understanding of breast cancer in general, and thus benefit both dogs and humans.

The owner claimed that the cat is 2 years old. As the front teeth were all gone, the cat could be as old as 6 years. The cat could not eat because she had a fractured infected left lower canine tooth. I extracted the tooth and gave anibiotics. The cat recoveed her health. This cat now was consulted for a breast tumour. This tumour was excised by Dr Danie. The histology results showed it was a malignant tumour - ductal carcinoma. This cat is much loved.

How my dog saved my life from breast cancer
This is missy my amazing and beautiful fox red Labrador who is now 6 years old. 3 years ago she saved my life by sniffing and pawing at my left breast for about 8 months . I owe her my life she persisted to tell me for months she lost weight ,she went depressed ,and kept on nuzzling and pawing at me but I thought she was just playing at first then as the months went on she became so sad and would hardly eat so I took her to the vet as I was convince she was ill but they came back and said they couldn't find anything wrong with her so one day as she nudged me again in my left breast just as I was getting into the shower I decided out of the blue I was just do a quick breast exam. I felt a tiny lump on my breast and thought oh this is where missy keeps nuzzling it's the same place . A few days later I decided to get it checked but was convinced it must be a cyst or something anyway my gp sent me to the hospital and a few weeks later the results came back with three tumours luckily they caught it early so had both breast removed with reconstruction. The drs told me if I hadn't been for my dog keeping on at me the cancer would of spread as it was invasive breast cancer but with no symptoms I would never of known. When I arrived home after the op missy sniffed me up and down and her tail spun round like a helicopter, she went right back to her happy go lucky self she now checks me every morning as soon as we wake up. I owe missy my life as she saved me

My Breast Cancer Story: Lori Scroggins
Dogs are known to be extremely loyal, and in some cases sniff out breast cancer. While hanging out with her dog Lamont, Lori Scroggins noticed that he was acting strange, scratching and biting her breast. She checked the area and found a lump. She checked with her doctor. “He said 'you have a cancer'. When he said that, my world stopped.” Hoping to have children one day, she worked with her doctor to save her eggs before having a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. Five years later, her dream to have a family came true. "I now have twin baby girls. And life is good.” Lori has a tattoo on wrist of a ribbon; she uses it to remind her customers of her story and to check themselves for any signs of cancer, even if they need a little help from their dog.
