The dogs being trained to smell cancer and disease
These dogs are being trained to sniff out cancers and other diseases as part of an ongoing trial into the early diagnosis of life-threatening illnesses. The detection dogs are able to notice tiny changes in smell caused by cancers, malaria and Parkinson's disease. Early results have been so impressive that the NHS has granted permission for a clinical trial into detection dogs which could see them one day become a normal part of medical diagnosis - but critics say more evidence is needed and the costs are still too high. Adrenal Gland Cancer (Pheochromocytoma) / Disease in Dogs
A pheochromocytoma is a tumor of the adrenal gland, which causes the glands to make too much of certain hormones. This can cause an increase in heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate. These symptoms are intermittent (not present all of the time) because the hormones that cause them are not made all of the time or are made in low amounts. Pheochromocytomas are rare in dogs. They usually occur in dogs that are older than seven years but can occur in younger dogs as well. Because this tumor affects an endocrine gland that functions to spread hormones, pheochromocytomas commonly spread to organs that are near them and can rapidly metastasize to other areas of the body.

Questions & Answers 305 - Deathbed Visions, Polycystic Kidney Disease, Cancer/Dog
Questions & Answers 305 19:08 – Janet – What exact does this entail? Does Dr. Morse have us take an herbal cleansing of the liver and different organs before we do anything else or what does this protocol mean? 23:05 – Marc – Wasn’t this the same diet that Steve Jobs had? 30:40 – Paul - Can you please comment on your experience or opinion about Deathbed Visions of a person who near death. Vision are usually of Loved one who’ve past-on or a religious figures or “angels” etc. I’ve been reading stories shares by Hospice Nurses that gave me goose bumps and made me cry. I’ve recently lost my wife to the treatment of lung cancer and I feel that she may have experienced this. 43:35 – Natasha – I am writing you today about some friends of mine. They have a 6 month old girl who was recently diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, the ‘adult’ form though, that isn’t likely to be an apparent problem till she is older, say in her 30’s perhaps, the doctors say… 01:22:30 – Kathy – I have been treating my dog for cancer for 3 years. Took her completely off grains and kibble and onto a raw diet with meat and pulverized veggies. She gets tincture that have burdock root and other things to boost her immune system and go after cancer cells. She is thriving. She did develop a big lipoma which I believe was holding toxins…had to have that removed but no chemo or radiation for us. 01:36:15 – Chad - Thank you for allowing me to join your group. My friend Chad has gotten me on to Dr. Morse and his therapys. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was 12 years old as my parents were going through a brutal divorce (possibly neurological block). I have had many hypoglycemic seizures and it ultimately cost me a roster spot in the NFL. I have always been very athletic but my diabetes has cause me to have countless night time seizures. I was trained to eat a certain way to gain muscle and size and now that I am done playing I find it very difficult to control my sugars and stop my cravings (complex carbs, meat, and fats). As athletic as I was and am I find my body is now breaking down. My 6'4" 265 lbs stature is now causing me to ache, have high BP, and stop me from competitvely playing basketball (my hobby). If I could control or even cure my diabetes I would be open to doing anything. The average life expectancy for someone with Type 1 for so long and a family history of heart disease is approx 60. If anyone could tell me how to at least cure my diabetes i would be forever greatful. I am willing to appeoach this new lifestyle change with the passion and verocity that has allowed me to excel so well in sports. Any sample meal plans or ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you. 01:55:35 – Marion - I am a 58 years old Danish female, I have to high bloodpresure and Diabetic 2 and mabye also adrenal fatigue, but my doctor say that der is nothing call adrenal fatique.I am so tired, and overweight but i dont now how to start to get at much more healthy life. I have just got my first grand child and i would like to se her grown up.Can you give some advise?. My daughter has been help by you so I will try too. 02:04:30 – Candy – Submitted questions about her health. (Please see video for details.) 02:34:44 – Mel – I am 17 and male and play soccer and I am trying to become a pro soccer player, but I have a setback. Dr. Morse I have been having this leg pain in my upper thigh and groin area for over 6 months and happens every time after a ga,e and last for about three days and then goes away and during the game I have pain under the bottom of my feet.

Dogs As Cancer Therapists
http://AskDrYou.com The fear of cancer evokes a universal cry of the spirit. The disease knows no psycho-social, economic or cultural boundaries. It attacks with equality in this regard. Yet fear eats away at priceless energy that we could otherwise use to heal our bodies. So it is imperative to find a way to release the myriad emotions you are feeling. For strong emotions will only get bigger and more ominous, if you don't acknowledge them. And I believe there is nothing like the comfort of a dog to uncage you from the fear of giving yourself permission to unload, when life gets to heavy. Dogs are such resilient, ever loving creatures.

Pyometra + Mammary Cancer vs Bone Cancer + Joint Disease (should you spay a dog?)
Spaying your dog has many recognized benefits including reducing the risk mammary cancer and eliminating the potential for your dog to develop pyometra (which is an emergency and can be fatal). On the other hand there may be a number of risks of spaying a dog. These depend on a dogs breed and size but can include bone cancer and joint disease, especially cruciate ligament rupture in the knee. The problem with some of these risks and benefits is that you will hear advice from people who are not aware that these risks are actually not as clear cut as they might have heard and they give no thought as to the benefits if you do decide to spay your dog. In this video I discuss how you might go about deciding which decision is right for you and this video follows on from my complete rundown on the risks and benefits of spaying a dog and when you should have the procedure carried out: https://youtu.be/cKWpUu-GNo0 One important thing to consider when your are deciding if you want to spay your dog or not is that there is no clear-cut right answer. What is wright for you might be wrong for someone else. Take your time to consider all of the benefits and risks and make a decision that you are comfortable with. If you need to discuss anything in more detail or have questions related to your dog in particular then you should talk to your veterinarian #dogspay #pyometra #doghealth Sign up for my free pet arthritis mini-course: http://bit.ly/arthritis-course Connect with me: Twitter: https://twitter.com/OurPetsHealth Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/OurPetsHealthTV Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ourpetshealth Email: https://ourpetshealth.com/contact Disclaimers: all opinions are my own, sponsors are acknowledged. Can Dogs Really Sniff out Cancer? | Dogs Trained for Disease Detection
Ok, so we know dogs are intelligent. We also know that they have a nifty sense of smell that makes them perfect for tracking and detection, as well as sniffing out things like narcotics. But what about disease? Is it possible a dog can tell when someone’s sick by just being in the same room as them? Let’s find out! The idea that dogs are able to sniff out cancer has been around for a while. Although many anecdotes as well as a few studies came out beforehand, the subject was thrown further into the limelight after a BBC documentary. It turns out, in short, dogs can be trained to identify certain diseases, including cancer.

Elaine Ostrander (NIH) 1: Canine Genetics: Dog Genes Tell Surprising Tales
https://www.ibiology.org/genetics-and-gene-regulation/canine-genetics Elaine Ostrander provides an overview of canine genetics, and explains how scientists are using genetics to decipher the molecular basis of different traits such as height and cancer risk. Talk Overview: Although all domestic dogs belong to the same species, different breeds display unique morphological traits and different disease susceptibility. Dr. Elaine Ostrander provides an overview of canine genetics, and explains how scientists are using genetics to decipher the molecular basis of different traits such as height and cancer risk. In her second lecture, Ostrander explains that canine genetics can be used to understand disease susceptibility and cancer risk. By analyzing the pedigree of dogs, her laboratory identified a series of genes involved in the elevated cancer risk of particular dog breeds. Specifically, her laboratory studied invasive transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder, a disease for which breeds like Scottish Terriers have a high susceptibility.  In human cases of this disease, the cause is unknown in 50% of patients. Ostrander’s laboratory identified genetic mutations that explain the elevated cancer risk in these dogs. This information may improve diagnosis and targeted therapy in dogs and humans. Speaker Biography: Dr. Elaine Ostrander is the Chief and Distinguished Investigator at the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She received her B.S. degree from the University of Washington (1981), and her Ph.D. from the Oregon Health & Science University (1987). Ostrander continued her postdoctoral training at Harvard University. A few years later, she joined the Lawrence Berkeley National Labs at University of California, Berkeley, where she began the canine genome project. In 2004, she joined the NIH and her laboratory studies the domestic dog as a model organism to understand the heritability of traits and disease susceptibility. For her scientific contributions, she was named NIH Distinguished Investigator (2011). Visit her lab website and learn more about Ostrander’s research: https://www.genome.gov/12513335

Appropriate pH levels in the body are key to maintaining good health. In order to function at its optimum level, our body needs a pH of about 7.4, which is a slightly alkaline range. Unfortunately, the increased industrialization has led to an elevated CO2 deposition, which in turn lowered the ocean`s pH from 8.2 to 8.1, leading to a negative effect on the marine life. In addition to this, the pH of the soil also affects the mineral profile of the food we consume. In brief, an alkaline diet is a diet which is based on the nutrients obtained from vegetables and natural foods. This type of diet is beneficial for everyone and this is the reason why this article presents a list of alkaline foods which can be incorporated in your diet. Flax Seeds Besides being abundant in vitamin E and fiber, flax seeds are highly alkaline and anti-inflammatory. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Extra virgin olive oil is a great addition to any diet plan due to its vitamin E content and monounsaturated fats. Berries Berries are one of the healthiest fruits due to their antioxidant and fiber content. Melon Melons are highly alkaline fruits which are also abundant in fiber and water content. Therefore, they have the ability to hydrate the body and detoxify the digestive tract. Swiss Chard Besides being highly alkaline, Swiss chard is abundant in antioxidants, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. OTHER FOODS TO INCLUDE IN AN ALKALINE DIET In addition to the aforementioned five alkaline foods, you should consider the following foods as well: ALKALIZING VEGETABLES Mushrooms Mustard Greens Nightshade Veggies Onions Parsnips (high glycemic) Sweet Potatoes Tomatoes Watercress Beet Greens Broccoli Cabbage Carrot Cauliflower Celery Wheat Grass Wild Greens Alfalfa Barley Grass Beets Peas Peppers Pumpkin Radishes Rutabaga Sea Veggies Dandelions Edible Flowers Eggplant Fermented Veggies Garlic Green Beans Green Peas Chard Greens Chlorella Collard Greens Cucumber Spinach, green Spirulina Sprouts ALKALIZING FRUITS Tangerine Tomato Tropical Fruits Umeboshi Plums Watermelon Dates, dried Figs, dried Grapes Grapefruit Honeydew Melon Lemon Lime Apple Apricot Avocado Banana (high glycemic) Cantaloupe Cherries, sour Coconut, fresh Orange* Peach Pear Pineapple Rhubarb ALKALIZING PROTEIN Tempeh (fermented) Tofu (fermented) Almonds Millet Chestnuts ALKALIZING SPICES & SEASONINGS Sea Salt Miso Tamari All Herbs Mustard Ginger Cinnamon Curry Chili pepper ALKALIZING OTHERS Mineral water Apple cider vinegar Green Juices Veggie Juices Fresh Fruit Juice Molasses Probiotic Cultures Bee pollen

Cancer as a Metabolic Disease - What You Need to Know: Professor Thomas Seyfried
Have you heard about the metabolic theory of cancer but still need some clarification on exactly what it is and what it means for your path to wellness and healing cancer? If so you are most certainly in the right place as today on the show we have the scientist, professor and dare I say Godfather of the modern day understanding of cancer as a metabolic disease who has revived this simple truth first laid out in the middle of the last century. In This Episode: Professor Seyfried explains how there is no consistency in genetic mutations across cancer types or even much across individual cancers but the one hallmark trait that ALL cancer cells share is that they ferment glucose and glutamine to produce energy and why this is so important to our understanding of cancer. How genetic mutations and negative epigenetic changes in gene expression like oncogenes turning on and tumor suppressor genes turning off are not the main drivers of cancer but really the byproducts of damaged cellular respiration along with defective mitochondria, and the many experiments and studies Professor Seyfried has gathered that have been done over the years to prove this. From an implementation perspective Dr. Seyfried got into how lowering blood glucose and raising ketones along with other metabolic therapies will kill many cancer cells outright and leave the rest much more vulnerable to other therapies and how one would get started on this approach through fasting and the ketogenic diet. Professor Seyfried also explained two terms that every cancer patient and preventer alike need to know, autophagy and mitochondrial biogenesis which are the cleaning out of defective mitochondria and the growth of new healthy mitochondrial populations. This is absolutely foundational stuff that you really need to have a firm grasp on if you’re serious about having all of your bases covered in the healing process! Or in prevention for that matter!! For more cancer healing and preventing: www.mykidcurescancer.com www.youtube.com/mykidcurescancer www.facebook.com/mykidcurescancer To support our work: www.mykidcurescancer.com/crowdsponsor Dr. Thomas Seyfried PhD is professor of biology at Boston College in Massachusetts and published a groundbreaking treatise entitled, Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer in 2012. The treatise provides extensive information showing that cancer can be best defined as a mitochondrial metabolic disease rather than as a genetic disease. This new concept has implications for the development of new non-toxic cancer therapies including the ketogenic diet. Experts in the cancer research field have praised this comprehensive study as one of science's hottest topics. Dr. Seyfried has been a featured speaker at numerous scientific symposia and conferences relating to cancer, including the 2nd Annual Ancestral Health Symposium, The Educational Session Lecture, and American Association Cancer Research. Biggest Mistake In Treating Cancer, Gerson, DMSO, MMS Switching Protocols
Treating for a disease at home with DMSO, MMS, CDS - other natural substances - it takes commitment and a plan that is stuck https://youtu.be/zbmKDBhauCU http://bit.ly/2jnDPGm http://bit.ly/2iMTQCx http://bit.ly/2gfANhf http://bit.ly/2i19XNV to. Not changing the game plan is something that Dr. Gerson's daughter talked about. She said that most people's mistake is that they pick a plan - and then change it up. They stop one routine and go to another. I had that happen for two individuals I know - just from my few short years on YouTube. Also a friend's mother who tried to use baking soda for her cancer and it didn't work. Then they assume that none of this works. Thomas Seyfried: Cancer: A Metabolic Disease With Metabolic Solutions
Emerging evidence indicates that cancer is primarily a metabolic disease involving disturbances in energy production through respiration and fermentation. Cancer is suppressed following transfer of the nucleus from the tumor cell to cytoplasm of normal cells containing normal mitochondria. These findings indicate that nuclear genetic abnormalities cannot be responsible for cancer despite commonly held beliefs in the cancer field. The genomic instability observed in tumor cells and all other recognized hallmarks of cancer are considered downstream epiphenomena of the initial disturbance of cellular energy metabolism. The disturbances in tumor cell energy metabolism can be linked to abnormalities in the structure and function of the mitochondria. Cancer growth and progression can be managed following a whole-body transition from fermentable metabolites, primarily glucose and glutamine, to respiratory metabolites, primarily ketone bodies. This transition will reduce tumor vascularity and inflammation while enhancing tumor cell death. A novel “press-pulse” therapeutic strategy is in development for the non-toxic metabolic management of cancer. Malignant brain cancer in preclinical models and humans will be used to illustrate general concepts. As each individual is a unique metabolic entity, personalization of metabolic therapy as a broadbased cancer treatment strategy will require fine-tuning to match the therapy to an individual’s unique physiology. Thomas N. Seyfried received his Ph.D. in Genetics and Biochemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana, in 1976. He did his undergraduate work at the University of New England, where he recently received the distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. He also holds a Master’s degree in Genetics from Illinois State University. Thomas Seyfried served with distinction in the United States Army’s First Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War and received numerous medals and commendations. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Neurology at the Yale University School of Medicine and then served on the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Neurology. Other awards and honors have come from such diverse organizations as the American Oil Chemists Society, the National Institutes of Health, The American Society for Neurochemistry, and the Ketogenic Diet Special Interest Group of the American Epilepsy Society. Dr. Seyfried previously served as Chair, Scientific Advisory Committee for the National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association and presently serves on several editorial boards, including those for Nutrition & Metabolism, Neurochemical Research, the Journal of Lipid Research, and ASN Neuro, where he is a Senior Editor. Dr. Seyfried has over 150 peer-reviewed publications and is the author of the book “Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer (Wiley Press).”

Biggest tick ever!!! and How to Remove Ticks From Pets Step-by-Step
Biggest tick on dog I ever have seen!!! How to Remove Ticks From Pets Step-by-Step Ticks can transmit deadly diseases to a pet within 24 hours of a bite, so swift removal is key. Here’s the best way to remove a tick from your dog or cat so you’re prepared to get rid of these dangerous parasites. Before you start the actual removal process, gather everything that you need to remove the offending tick from your pet first. It's harder to try and manage a squirming animal while looking for your tweezers or rubbing alcohol than it is having everything you need within arm's reach. What You’ll Need Gloves Tweezers (pointy ones work best) Latex or rubber gloves Rubbing alcohol Antiseptic wipes (optional) Jar or container with lid Steps for Removing a Tick Step 1: Put on your gloves. Ticks carry infectious agents that can seep into a human’s bloodstream through breaks in the skin. It’s better to play it safe and wear protective gear. Step 2: Steady your pet and keep him calm. When you’re getting ready to remove the tick you’ve got to keep your pet calm. Any unusual poking or prodding tends to make dogs and cats nervous. If there is another person available, have that person hold your pet and keep him relaxed Step 3: Position your tweezers. Take a pair of tweezers—pointy ones work best—and grab hold of the tick as close to your dog’s skin as possible. Be careful not to pinch your dog’s skin. Step 4: Pull out the tick. Using steady pressure, pull the tick out using a straight motion. Do not twist or jerk the tick because you want to avoid leaving the tick’s mouthparts behind. Also, make sure not to squeeze or crush the tick, since its fluids may contain infectious material. After removing the tick, examine it to make sure the head and mouth parts were removed. If not, take your pet to veterinarian to remove what's left in the pet's skin. Step 5: Kill the tick. Kill the tick by placing it in a container with rubbing alcohol. Once the tick is dead, most veterinarians recommend keeping it in the container with a lid incase your pet begins displaying symptoms of disease. Step 6: Disinfect the bite site. Use antiseptic spray or wipes to disinfect the bite site and keep an eye on it for signs of infection. If the bite site remains red or becomes inflamed, make an appointment with your veterinarian. Step 7: Reward your pet. After you’ve removed the tick from your dog or cat, praise your pet for being good. Give him or her a treat and add in some extra playtime as a special reward. Keep an Eye on Your Pet Make sure to keep a close eye on your dog or cat over the next few weeks and be on the lookout for any strange symptoms including a reluctance to move, fever, fatigue, loss of appetite and swollen lymph nodes. If your dog displays any of these symptoms, make an appointment with your vet immediately. http://www.petmd.com/dog/parasites/how-to-remove-a-tick-from-dog-cat Find more information on PetMD http://www.petmd.com/ and see also: 2017 Flea & Tick Survival Guide! http://www.petmd.com/flea-tick-survival-guide See also: Dog with embedded larvae ticks in her belly, about 100 of them - WCCO 09-07-2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BX4OFBAdtY See also: Lyme disease in dogs - WCSH 21-04-2016 https://youtu.be/Za65GqQLGJQ See also: Dog saved from euthanasia when vet finds paralyzing tick - GlobalNews 25-06-2016 https://youtu.be/6Nd870B-PCs See also: Dog's mystery illness solved by extern - CNN 23-05-2016 https://youtu.be/QvKgRezs_38 See also: Enhanced surveillance of ticks to combat Lyme disease in southern N.B. - GlobalNews 16-06-2017 https://youtu.be/pni4_Q5JShk See also: 'I’m here as a sign of hope': Nationwide effort aims for Lyme disease education https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFWmIOQyE7k See also: Vets encourage vaccinations as early cases of Lyme disease confirmed in pets https://youtu.be/tCQ2s1hA2rc See also: Lyme and Reason: Preventing pets from Lyme Disease - WSAW 23-05-2017 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-QtQqNlfNI See also: An uptick in ticks How Nova Scotians can protect themselves - GlobalNews 02-06-2017 https://youtu.be/gRx5lXpiKWo Read also: LYME SCI: Dog maps provide important clue to human disease risk https://www.lymedisease.org/lyme-sci-dog-maps/ Read also: Pet Ownership Increases Risk of Contracting Lyme Disease http://www.prohealth.com/library/showarticle.cfm?libid=30464 Read also: Federal government spends $4M to fight Lyme disease New framework aims to improve diagnosis and treatment of tick-related disease http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/politics/federal-lyme-disease-framework-1.4137379 See more video's and information about Lyme Disease here on Lyme Channel: http://bit.ly/2qLgv9g and here on Facebook: http://bit.ly/2rBchR0 Lyme disease is one of the fastest spreading infectious diseases in the world. Dogs trained to help detect cancer!
DOGS:Now the dog (your best friend) can save your life! SUBSCRIBE : https://www.youtube.com/user/TopTipss?sub_confirmation=1 Dogs are awesome, dogs trained to help detecting cancer! -Cancer-sniffing dogs are saving lives study showed that trained explosive-detection sniffer dogs can detect prostate cancer in urine in 93% of cases -Cancer-sniffing dogs are saving lives- researchers trained two sniffer dogs to identify urine samples from men with prostate cancer. They then allowed the dogs to sniff urine samples from men with or without prostate cancer and indicate which ones had the prostate cancer smell. One dog correctly identified all the samples from men with prostate cancer, and the other dog identified 98.6% of them. This study suggests dogs can be trained to differentiate between urine samples from men known to have prostate cancer and people without the condition. But further testing should be carried out to test whether the dogs can accurately detect men with prostate cancer who are not yet known to have the disease although The researchers concluded that a trained sniffer dog can identifychemicals specific to prostate cancer in urine with a high level of accuracy,it seems unlikely that dogs would be routinely used on a widespread basis to detect prostate cancer instead of the traditional testing methods such as (PSA) test. PSA -prostate specific antigen-is a protein produced by the prostate. The PSA test is a blood test that measures the amount of prostate specific antigen in the blood. This type of study is suitable for an early-stage assessment of the promise of a new test. If successful, researchers would need to go on to test samples of men who are currently undergoing assessment for suspected prostate cancer, rather than those already known to have the disease. This would better assess how the dogs would perform in a real-world clinical situation. -Now your best friend can save your life- although There's no proper research to show that untrained dogs can detect cancer, some dog owners reported that they were lucky because their beloved dogs alerted them to cancer by nuzzling Certain body part insistently. -dogs can smell cancer on your breath- other studies have also found that dogs are able to sniff lung cancer on humans' breath and there are probably other medical conditions that dogs may be able to train to assist with and help people stay healthy. information source : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/behindtheheadlines/news/2015-04-13-how-dogs-could-sniff-out-prostate-cancer/
