7 Healthy Seeds And Nuts You Should Eat Everyday

03:47
Every day, we make choices about what to eat. These 7 nuts and seeds are easy foods to add to our diets either because they make filling snacks or the benefits that these foods offer, especially for hard-to-find minerals and vitamins. 1.Almonds Almonds are a great source of Vitamin-E as a 100-gram serving contains 115% of the daily recommended intake of Vitamin-E. You’ll also find natural Riboflavin, which is known as B2, in Almonds. The B vitamins help the body create energy from food and help regulate metabolic function.  2.Sesame Seeds Sesame seeds are an outstanding source of Iron with 81% of the daily iron intake per 100-gram serving. They also help build strong bones as they contain 98% of the daily intake of Calcium. As such, sesame-seeds are good for anyone who wants to improve the quality of the red blood cells that their body produces. Red-blood-cells are a critical part of delivering oxygen to cells and for removing cell waste. 3.Ham-seeds Hemp seeds are a very healthy seed with 110mg of folate found in 100 gram serving. Our body uses folate as one of the ingredients in creating DNA, making folate an important vitamin for anyone who plans to reproduce. Strong DNA makes healthier sex cells and that means the better pairing of genes and chromosomes. Hemp seeds are also a good source of Vitamin A, polyunsaturated fats, Phosphorus, and Vitamin K. 4.Sunflower seeds Sunflower seeds are a huge source of Vitamin E. They contain 170% of the daily recommended intake of Vitamin E in a 100-gram serving. Vitamin-E is a powerful antioxidant helping to reduce the damage of free radicals. If you are exercising or trying to lose weight, sunflower seeds help boost your metabolism too. 5.Flax seeds Flax seeds are an awesome source of dietary fiber. They contain 109% of the daily recommended intake of fiber per 100-gram serving. Flax seeds also offer blood and bone building minerals such as 32% of the daily intake of iron and 26% for calcium. 6.Pumpkin seeds Pumpkin Seeds are an outstanding source of protein with 18.6-grams of protein per 100-gram serving. Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com Along with chia and pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds are growing in popularity with those individuals looking to improve their overall health. They offer many different unique and wonderful health benefits for those who consume then. As well, they are incredibly easy to add to your diet since they can be added to your favourite smoothie recipe, salads or eaten raw. When consuming these seeds, try to find raw, organic varieties if you can and consume them in moderation to control calorie intake. Lets discuss some of the amazing health benefits associated with eating sunflower seeds regularly. 1. First, sunflower seeds are loaded with important nutrients and are very nutrient dense. Just a little bit of these seeds will go a long way in providing you with many different vitamins and minerals. These include vitamin E, copper, phosphorus, selenium, vitamin B1 and magnesium to name just a few. They also contain good levels of protein and fibre. If that wasn’t enough, sunflower seeds are a great source of healthy fats, specifically polyunsaturated fat. 2. Sunflower seeds can also help to reduce the risks associated with heart disease and promote overall heart health many different ways. Regular consumption of these seeds can help to balance cholesterol levels, lower high blood pressure and reduce hypertension. As mentioned previously, they are great sources of vitamin E, an important antioxidants that can reduce inflammation throughout the body, reducing the risk of heart disease and oxidative stress. 3. Since sunflower seeds are tremendous sources of vitamin E, they are also especially beneficial for anyone looking to improve the overall quality and look of their skin. Studies have demonstrated that vitamin E can help to maintain strong, healthy and young looking skin. Sunflower seeds are amazing sources of vitamin E, but that’s not all. They also contain essential fatty acid lipids that work to keep the skin hydrated and looking radiant. As well, the antioxidants in sunflower seeds will help to eliminate free radicals in the body that can cause damage to the skin. 4. These seeds may also help to support thyroid function since they contain great levels of selenium. In fact, just one quarter cup of sunflower seeds will provide us with about 34% of our recommended daily dose of this important mineral. One of the most common causes of thyroid disorders is a deficiency in selenium. This allows sunflower seeds to help control symptoms such as weight gain and fatigue. Always discuss with your medical practitioner other treatment and prevention methods related to thyroid health. 5. Lastly, sunflower seeds may help to prevent certain types of cancer when they are consumed regularly. This is often associated to their high amounts of important vitamins, minerals and nutrients which are important for a number of bodily functions and promote our overall health. As well, they are high in many different types of antioxidants which reduce oxidative stress and eliminate damaging free radicals from the body. Gamma-tocopherol, which is found in sunflower seeds, has also been shown to have benefits in this regard. Again, discuss with your medical practitioner for further cancer treatment and prevention methods. Thank you for watching the video! Please like, comment and share. Chia Seeds Benefits For Losing Weight, Skin & Hair Health

03:36
Find out what are the health benefits of chia seeds, especially for weight loss and hair and skin health. Originally grown in Mexico, the seeds are highly valued for their medicinal properties and nutritional value. HERE ARE 9 GOOD REASONS TO START EATING CHIA SEEDS #1 The chia seed is a great plant source of protein, containing 4.7 grams of protein per ounce. They contain all essential amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks that make up the protein. Your body puts them together like Legos to create muscle. #2 The fiber content of chia seeds and their ability to hold onto water might contribute to satiety and consequently you eat less food. Foods that are high in dietary fiber help you to feel full for longer, and they are usually lower in calories. Furthermore, increased fiber intake and a high fiber diet have been shown in studies to help with weight loss. #3 Gram for gram, chia seeds contain more calcium than most dairy products providing 18 percent DV for adults in a single ounce. Your heart, muscles, and nerves need calcium to function properly. More importantly, your body needs calcium to build and maintain strong bones. #4 Chia seeds are high in antioxidants that help fight free-radical damage in the human body and also prevent the healthy omega-3 fats from going rancid in the seeds. They last almost two years without refrigeration. #5 Chia seeds can play an important role in regulating insulin levels. They can lower insulin resistance and decrease abnormally high levels of insulin in the blood. #6 Our hair, just like chia, is full of protein, that is necessary to keep it strong and thick. Chia seeds are a nutritional powerhouse containing more protein than soybeans, plus added Omega-3’s that are vital to help prevent hair loss. #7 They are a good source of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant for the maintenance of healthy skin. Vitamin E also helps to prevent and repair fine lines, wrinkles, and dry skin, while amping up collagen production as well as it neutralizes free radicals that cause premature aging. #8 One serving of chia seeds has 30% of your recommended intake of manganese, an essential mineral which isn't a well-known nutrient, but it's important for our health. For example, manganese is good for your bones and helps your body use other essential nutrients like thiamin and biotin. #9 Chia seeds contain no gluten. Hence, all of the nutritional benefits of chia seeds can be obtained on a gluten-free diet. Note Chia seeds can absorb many times their own weight in liquid, therefore, when you soak them in water overnight, you get a dish that's a lot like tapioca pudding in texture.

What is Vitamin E?

ADD YOUR SUCCESS STORY: https://www.drberg.com/add-client-success-story Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 In this video, Dr. Berg talks about Vitamin E. Vitamin E is essential for heart health and the way that you become deficient in vitamin E mostly is by consuming refined carbohydrates in the form of breads, pasta, cereal, crackers, etc. Vitamin E is unique as it can travel right through the cell. Make sure to get the whole vitamin E complex and not just the individual. He also talks about the different parts of vitamin E complex. Different Parts of Vitamin E Complex: • Alpha Tocopherol – this is mainly used by the liver. This antioxidant travels with LDL or the low density lipoprotein. LDL is protein that is carrying cholesterol, triglycerides, vitamin E and other fat soluble vitamins. LDL then helps protect the arteries, to help the cholesterol from being oxidized, it can also help decrease the risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer because it is an antioxidant. • Gamma Tocopherol – This antioxidant has protective factors against smoke. Gamma Tocopherol helps protect the risk of cancer. But when you smoke, this deplete this antioxidant at the same time. This antioxidant also helps decrease certain risk of cancer and supports arteries. • Tocotrienols – This helps support cholesterol or lipids, it also helps decrease breast cancer and is very important to the skin health. Source of Vitamin E: • Wheat Germ Oil • Seeds • Nuts • Vegetables I wanna touch on vitamin E. Vitamin E is really essential to heart health. The way you become deficient in vitamin E is mostly by consuming refined carbohydrates in the form of breads, pasta, cereal, crackers, biscuits, waffles, pancakes, things like that. Vitamin E is unique as it can travel right through the cell, other antioxidants can't quite do that. Now there are different parts of vitamin E complex and I always recommend when you get vitamin E make sure you get it in the complex and not as one fraction apart of vitamin E complex. I will not just get Alpha Tocopherol, I wanna get the whole complex. Alpha Tocopherol is mainly used by the liver and this antioxidant could not just travel on its own, it needs a shuttle. It actually hops on board with the LDL. low density lipoprotein, this are called bad cholesterol. Well guess what? This antioxidant is inside this shuttle bus, LDL is basically a protein that is carrying cholesterol, triglycerides, vitamin E and other fat soluble vitamins. It is not cholesterol by itself, it is a protein carrier. So what happens is this (Alpha Tocopherol ) antioxidants is inside this shuttle bus to help protect the arteries, to help the cholesterol from being oxidized, it can also help decrease the risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer because it is an antioxidant and all of these three types of conditions start out with all these oxidation or break down or free radical damage. Then you have something called Gamma Tocopherol. This antioxidant has protective factors against smoke but Gamma Tocopherol helps protect or decrease the risk of cancer somewhat. The other thing is when you smoke, this deplete this antioxidant at the same time. Top 10 Healthiest Nuts And Seeds You Should Eat Every Day

05:48
Top 10 Healthiest Nuts And Seeds You Should Eat Every Day Nuts and seeds are super healthy and most of us aren’t eating enough of them! They are important additions to our daily food consumption. You can incorporate small amounts of a combination of the following 10 nuts and seeds in your diet to enjoy their health benefits. 1. Almonds Many people consider almonds to be nuts, but they are technically the seeds of the almond tree. A small handful of almonds are all you need to eat daily. These oval-shaped nuts contain fiber, protein, calcium, zinc, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, copper, iron and some B vitamins. 2. Brazil Nuts Brazil nuts are technically seeds, but people call them nuts due to their brown nut-like outer covering. These nuts help in the prevention of breast and other cancers, cirrhosis of the liver, heart disease and premature aging. They can also improve cardiovascular health, manage Type 2 diabetes, reduce arthritis symptoms, protect skin from sun damage, lower bad cholesterol, and fight anemia. 3. Cashews Cashews are not actually nuts. They are the kidney-shaped seeds that adhere to the bottom of the cashew apple, the fruit of the cashew tree. The several nutrients in cashews can provide energy, improve cardiovascular health, lower cholesterol, help in the production of hemoglobin, manage Type 2 diabetes, reduce PMS symptoms, and help maintain healthy eyes, hair and skin. 4. Chia Seeds Consumption of chia seeds on a regular basis can help reduce joint pain, keep the digestive system healthy, aid weight loss, deliver an energy boost, improve brain health, reduce depression, fight arthritis and protect against diabetes, liver disease and heart disease. 5. Flaxseeds The high fiber in flaxseeds promotes healthy bowel functioning, suppresses appetite and helps support weight loss. Flaxseeds can even help ease the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), lower cholesterol, protect against heart disease, stabilize blood sugar and reduce the risk of cancer. They are equally good for maintaining healthy skin and hair. 6. Pine Nuts Although used as nuts in the culinary world, in the botanical world, pine nuts (also known as cedar nuts) are the edible seeds of pine trees. The recommended serving is 2 to 3 tablespoons daily. These nuts help improve heart health, reduce bad cholesterol, protect the arteries from damage, suppress appetite, boost energy and improve vision health. They also help increase the blood’s hemoglobin level and relieve fatigue and tension. 7. Pumpkin Seeds Pumpkin seeds, also known as pepitas, are flat and asymmetrically oval. Regular consumption of these seeds helps boost immunity, lower bad cholesterol, control blood sugar, fight anxiety and depression, reduce arthritis pain, support prostate health, improve heart health, and reduce the risk of developing some types of cancer. 8. Sesame Seeds Sesame seeds are highly valued for their oil, which is exceptionally resistant to rancidity. They can lower blood pressure and cholesterol, protect against liver damage and prevent diseases like arthritis, asthma, migraine headaches, osteoporosis and certain cancers. Note: Excessive consumption of sesame seeds may trigger migraines and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms in people who are sensitive to nuts and seeds. 9. Sunflower Seeds Sunflower seeds are the gift of the beautiful sunflowers. They are an excellent source of vitamin E, a fat-soluble antioxidant. Regular consumption of these seeds can help reduce the severity of asthma, lower high blood pressure, prevent migraine headaches and reduce the risk of heart attacks. The recommended serving size is ¼ cup daily. 10. Walnuts By eating just 1 ounce of walnuts daily (7 shelled walnuts), you can enjoy many of the health benefits. Regular consumption of walnuts can help reduce the risk of prostate and breast cancer, lower high blood pressure, improve cholesterol levels, aid in weight control, boost brain health and manage diabetes. They are equally good for your skin and hair. Chia seeds are loaded with Omega-3s: One of the biggest nutrition benefits of chia seeds comes from the amount of alpha lipoid acid (ALA), which is an omega-3 fatty acid. Today's ratio of inflammation causing omega-6s to omega-3s is typically way out of proportion. Based on the standard American diet, the ratio is close to a 20 to 1 ratio of omega-6s to omega-3s. A healthy ratio is closer to a 2:1 omega-6 to omega-3 ratio. Optimally it would be a 1:1 ratio. That's one of the big nutrition benefits of chia seeds. They contain an excellent 3:1 ratio of healthy omega-3 fats to omega-6 fats. This makes it an excellent food to help balance out the ratio of fats in your diet. Omega-3s are great for brain and heart health. They may help reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease by: - lowering blood pressure - lowering bad cholesterol - reducing inflammation Chia seeds are packed full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This includes vitamin A, B, D, and E. They also contain a wide variety of minerals and antioxidants. These minerals include: manganese, phosphorus, calcium, zinc, copper, and potassium. This potent combination of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants helps improve skin health and reduce aging. Chia seeds are loaded with fiber. High fiber foods are great for gut health and keeping your regular. The combination of fiber and healthy fat, also helps slow the breakdown of carbohydrates in your system. This helps balance blood sugar and insulin levels. Another benefit of the high fiber is it helps keep you feeling full, thus reducing hunger, and helping with weight loss. Seeds like flax seeds and chia seeds also may help reduce belly fat because they promote the metabolism of estrogen from the body. How To Eat Chia SeedsL Chia seeds are a very versatile food which makes it easy to add more of these essential fatty acids to your diet. The best way to absorb all the nutrients is by either soaking them for 30 minutes in water or grinding them up. I love adding them to smoothies as well as fighting off late night cravings by making chia seed pudding. Not only do they add a ton of nutrients to salads, they’re also great to add to smoothies since they are excellent at thickening your shake. You can find chia seeds in most grocery stores in the bulk or baking section. If you can't find them you can replace them with another comparable super healthy seed, flax seeds. That's it for the top 12 fitness superfood series. Chia seeds are an unprocessed, whole-grain food that can be absorbed by the body as seeds (unlike flaxseeds). What are the side effects of eating chia seeds? According to Heal With Food, they explain chia seed side effects, "rang[e] from constipation and hard stools to diarrhea, bloating and excessive intestinal gas." These gastro issues may affect your body, but thankfully there's a way to eat chia seeds that might be able to help you avoid any stomach pain According to him, here's how to use black chia seeds to lose weight easily. Add two tablespoons of raw or whole chia seed grains into a glass of clean water. Stir them well. Allow a few minutes to settle. Drink them down before they become swollen due to rapid water absorption. fter a long time, today I am doing a food post. I have recently come across this amazing “super food” (as people are calling it) called Chia Seeds. The seeds are really tiny, even smaller than Sesame Seeds. Click the link to get more details about the seeds. 1 ounce (28 g) or 2 tablespoons of these seeds give your approximately 137 Calories in energy and most of it upto 72 calories are fat calories. But, don’t be alarmed, it is one of the best known sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids for a vegetarian/vegan and even meat lovers. Because you get 4915 mg meaning approximately 5 g (grams) of Omega-3 Fatty Acids from one serving of Chia Seeds, which is basically 1 ounce (28 g) or 2 tablespoons, whereas the recommendation is only 3 g. So, you get all your daily intake of this nutrient with just 2 tbsp of Chia Seeds. In addition, you get about 4.5 g of Protein along with 10 g of fiber and a bit of Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Sodium, Zinc, Copper and Manganese. Wow, no doubt, they call it “super food”.

9 Surprising Reasons You Should Snack On Sunflower Seeds

03:30
Whether you are topping a salad or eating straight from the bag, sunflower seeds are a great snack. What if we told you that sunflower seeds can do more than curb your hunger? Those little seeds pack a punch when it comes to overall health. You may be surprised at just how helpful sunflower seeds may be. Here's why you should eat more of them. 1.Promote heart health. According to the Global Healing Center, sunflower-seeds can be good for your cardiovascular system. These seeds have two critical nutrients needed for heart health: vitamin E and folate. Vitamin-E has an antioxidant function and if regularly consumed may reduce the chances of heart disease. Elevated levels of homocysteine in the body can be an early indication of heart issues, but folate works to metabolize homocysteine into methionine, which is an essential amino-acid.  2.Stabilize your mood. Who couldn’t use a boost to their mood? Sunflower seeds are high in magnesium, which has been proven to help people who suffer from depression, according to the Global Healing Center. 3.Protect your hair and skin. Sunflower seeds may be able to help you get healthier and more vibrant hair and skin. The essential fatty acids coupled with the high levels of vitamin E help protect your skin and hair from sun damage and promote healing.  4.Increase energy More energy may seem like only a dream, but sunflower seeds can make that dream come true. Vitamin B-1 (thiamine), found in abundance in sunflower seeds, helps you obtain more energy from food sources and activates chemical reactions in your cells that your body needs to function. 5.Promote healthy circulation Healthy circulation is important especially when it comes to blood pressure and cardiovascular health. The high levels of magnesium in sunflower seeds help maintain a healthy circulation, thus helping ward off several potentially serious illnesses and health concerns.  6.Support thyroid function Thyroid issues are all too common. A leading cause of thyroid problems is associated with selenium deficiency. Sunflower seeds are an excellent source of mineral selenium. Eating a few handfuls, a day can help lower your risk of selenium deficiency. 7.Promote bone health As you get older, bone health becomes a serious concern. According to The World's Healthiest Foods, the high levels of magnesium found in sunflower seeds help regulate the calcium/potassium intake, which in turn helps battle against osteoporosis, bone loss and muscle cramps.  8.Have anti-inflammatory properties According to The World’s Healthiest Foods, the vitamin E found in sunflower seeds proves beneficial for battling anti-inflammatory issues such as asthma, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other conditions. Vitamin-E works to stabilize radicals throughout the body and protect cellular and molecular components that are at risk for inflammation.  9.Boost the immune system The high amounts of vitamins and minerals found in sunflower seeds work to bolster the immune system. Feeling a little under the weather? A few seeds can go a long way toward reducing your chances of contracting common colds and other seasonal sicknesses.  DISCLAIMER: The materials and the information contained on Natural ways channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. Because it is structurally similar to human sebum, Meadowfoam Seed Oil penetrates the skin deeper than other oils, and can increase the absorption of other oils in the blend. *Broccoli Oil* Broccoli Oil’s high Omega 9 content makes perform similarly to silicone, adding luster to hair and skin, and providing moisture. Broccoli Oil is rich in Vitamin A (retinol). *Black Cumin Oil* Black Cumin Oil (often referred to as Black Seed Oil) is simply amazing. It would probably take less time to talk about what it can’t do, because it’s just so magnificently functional. Lemon Ironbark Oil has a high content of aldehydes, and possesses antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory benefits. It is an Essential Oil, so those with high EO sensitivities will want to approach this oil with care. *Lemon Myrtle Oil* Like Lemon Ironbark, Lemon Myrtle is not a lemon at all. Lemon Myrtle is harvested from the Ironwood tree. It’s antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, antimicrobial, and antifungal. *Pomegranate Seed Oil* Rich in antioxidants, Pomegranate Seed Oil contains Vitamins C, B1, and B2, and possesses anti-inflammatory benefits. *Rosa Damascena Oil* This oil is extracted from the Damask rose, and tends to be very expensive. It possesses a number a therapeutic benefits, including antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, and astringent properties. It’s also anti-inflammatory, and extremely moisturizing. *Rosehip Seed Oil* Rosehip Seed Oil is one of my favorite single source oils. It’s high in essential fatty acids, and rich in vitamins and antioxidants, including Vitamins C and A, two of my favorite skincare performers. In addition to moisturizing, it can actually help lighten PIH over time. *Chia Seed Oil* Chia seed oil is another multi-functional power oil – it significantly helps reduce trans-epidermal water loss, increases barrier function, and possesses antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. I used Tea tree oil because it moisturizes dry skin, Peppermint oil for the soothing and calming the scent and it’s a great way to balance the scalp’s pH level. Lastly, rosemary essential oil is advantageous for dry and flaky scalps. I recommend Castor oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera Oil for your flaxseed gel. The Seeds contain • Dietary fibre (11g – 42% recommended daily value) • Potassium (44.8 mg – 1% RDV) • Zinc (1.0 mg – 7% RDV) • Phosphorus (265 mg – 27% RDV) • Omega-3 fatty acids (4915 mg) and Omega-6 fatty acids (1620 mg) • Calcium (77 mg – 18% RDV) • Copper (0.1 mg – 3% RDV) • Protein (4.4g – 9% RDV) Chia Seeds also contain essential fatty acids alpha-linolenic and linoleic acid (ALA), mucin, strontium, Vitamins A, B, E, and D, and minerals including iron, iodine, magnesium, sulphur, niacin, manganese, thiamine, and they are a rich source of anti-oxidants. The seeds are an unprocessed, whole-grain food that can be easily absorbed by the body (unlike flaxseeds). One ounce (about 2 tablespoons) contains 139 calories, 4 grams of protein, 9 grams fat, 12 grams carbohydrates and 11 grams of fibre, plus vitamins and minerals. This makes them one of the super foods which are a good option for boosting energy and increasing your metabolism to lose weight. Chia seeds are the richest source of omega-3 fatty acids which are healthy fats. They are very good for heart, brain functioning, hair growth etc. It also provides 18% of the daily recommended calcium per ounce. This aids in digestion and helps to feel full for a long time, which promotes weight loss. The mild nutty flavour of chia seeds makes them easy to add to foods and beverages. They are most often sprinkled on cereal, oats, vegetable salads, rice, yogurt, or mixed into cakes and bars. They can also be mixed with water and made into the gel. These seeds form gel when mixed with water, which provides hydration to the body and improves the overall health. This provides moisture to skin and gives radiant skin. Because of its high energy and hydrating quality, it is preferred by the athletes. The anti oxidants and ALA present in chia seeds help fight free radical in our bodies and prevent cancer. It also repairs cells and promotes growth. Though Chia seeds have so many benefits, it can’t make you lose weight magically. Face Oils - What's Best For Your Skin Type?

11:36
This is the second part to my Skincare Chat about Moisturizers and it’s all about Facial Oils. These are powerful ingredients that really require a good understanding of which work for what skin type. They are supremely nourishing but some facial oils can be drying and straight up astringent, while others are pore clogging or cause skin irritation, sometimes severe. Continue to keep in mind that we all have different skin and the ability to tolerate different ingredients. The categories are SIMPLE guidelines for you. A lot of these oils have multiple uses and fall under more than one category like the oils in the anti-aging one which can also be for dry skin, oily skin etc. Since my skin can only tolerate certain oils that many others cannot, rather than featuring the oils I use, I would rather explain what is out there for all skin types. This video is purely to help you recognise ingredients in other oil blends out there or moisturisers. Hopefully this can give you a simple guideline to the oils we hear about and see the most in formulations. If you’re using severely drying treatments like Retin A, Peels, astringent or prescription acne treatments, the right oils can really return the proper moisture back into your skin. Many oils are also great at reducing inflammation and irritation. I can’t stress enough that when buying oils, you are getting what you pay for. Some oils like Argan are so labor intensive, if you find a cheap bottle out there, it’s over processed and diluted with cheap fillers. These fabulous oils are in a lot of the products I’ve reviewed and mentioned in previous videos so stay tuned, I will do another video with my favourite oil products. Turmeric Atherosclerosis is when the arteries harden which is caused by inflammation. Pomegranate Fruits rich with antioxidants improve the walls of the arteries. Broccoli Broccoli is a good source for proteins for vegetarians. Broccoli contains vitamin K which is beneficial for bone formation. Fatty fish Seafood is beneficial on various levels - mental health, brain, vision, building muscles and also acts as a potent anti-inflammatory. Nuts Almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts are heart-friendly nuts. These nuts contain vitamin E that can protect the walls of the arteries. Monounsaturated Fats (Olive and/or Macadamia Nut oil) Olive oil is known to have several health benefits, but it is one of the best oils to prevent a buildup of cholesterol in the blood. Cinnamon Cinnamon has many benefits. The first is that it lowers fats in your blood, which helps prevent blockages in the vessels. Oranges Oranges are great because they’re high in vitamin C, which helps lower the stress hormone, cortisol. Tea Tea has many health benefits, especially for your heart. One of the best is green tea because it helps improve your metabolism, which can help you lose weight - which is always beneficial for your heart. Watermelon Watermelon contains an amino acid called Citrulline, which helps increase nitric oxide levels. Spinach Spinach contains carotene, which helps prevent cholesterol from getting clogged in the arteries. Tomato Like in pomegranate and tea, tomato too contains antioxidants that protects the arterial walls. Beans Beans contain fiber and folic acid, which prevents arteries from getting clogged. Apples Like oranges, apples also contain the fiber, pectin … which absorbs cholesterol from the blood. Grapefruit The pink grapefruit is rich in antioxidant lycopene, which is also present in tomatoes. Pink grapefruit helps prevent damage to your arteries and doesn’t affect blood sugar levels very much. Asparagus Avocado Chia Seeds The fiber and alpha-linolenic acid contained in just two ounces of Chia seeds, can help keep arteries clear by regulating blood pressure, reducing LDL cholesterol, lowering triglycerides, and increasing HDL cholesterol. Coconut Oil Disregard the old myth that all saturated fats are bad and the leading cause of cardiovascular diseases like atherosclerosis. Whole Grains I know a lot of people think carbohydrates are bad, but they aren’t. Ginger ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. How Much Chia Seed Should you Eat

03:20
Chia seed is obtained most commonly from Salvia hispanica of the Lamiaceae family. Other plants referred to as "chia" include "golden chia" (Salvia columbariae) and the flowering herbaceous perennial Salvia polystachya, which is rarely cultivated and the seeds are not used. The seeds of Salvia columbariae are used medicinally and for food. The sixteenth-century Codex Mendoza provides evidence that it was cultivated by the Aztec in pre-Columbian times and economic historians say it may have been as important as maize as a food crop. It was given as an annual tribute by the people to the rulers in 21 of the 38 Aztec provincial states. Chia seeds served as a staple food of the Nahuatl (Aztec) cultures of Central Mexico. Jesuit chroniclers placed chia as the third most important crop in the Aztec culture, behind only corn, beans, and ahead of amaranth. Offerings to the Aztec priesthood were often paid in chia seed. ----- Revolutionary new diet system that not only guarantees to help you lose weight — it promises to help you lose more weight — all body fat — faster than anything else you’ve ever tried: http://bit.ly/HealthyQure-DietPlan ------ Burn The Fat NOW! - Free E-Book: http://bit.ly/HealthyQure-Free-E-Book ------ Follow us on FaceBook: http://bit.ly/HealthyQure-FB ------ -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Miracle Superfood - Dark Chocolate" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-wfH2M17SA -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
