Home Remedies For Your Dog’s Itchy Skin:: Today FactsPlus bring a new home remedy for For Your Dog’s Itchy Skin - Natural Remedies For Dog Allergy, And itching Is your dog unhappy with itchy skin? We have found some of the most effective tools for your dog that you already have at home. We are always sad for our poor little puppies when they constantly itch. These remedies are easy, effective and already at your fingertips. Olive oil Take your favorite vegetable oil and add it to your dog's food! Olive oil is not only useful for cooking, but it is loaded with antioxidants and E & K vitamins that can replenish your dog's fur coat. 1 tablespoon 2-3 times a week in eating your dog can help solve their itching, helping their fur grow thick and shiny. Yogurt Before you start feeding your dog yogurt, make sure it's plain yogurt without sugar or additives. Normal and probiotic yogurt keeps good bacteria in your dog's stomach. This home remedy can help their immune system, which can stop skin infections and yeast infections. We recommend 1 teaspoon for small dogs and 2 teaspoons for large dogs several times a week. You can also mix it with food if you want. Apple vinegar Apple cider vinegar has many benefits for you, but did you know that it can help your dog? This is an easy way to remove the itch of your dog's skin and paws. Mix 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water to put on your dog's skin. A bottle with a spray or a sponge works well, but be careful to avoid getting the solution on any wounds or raw skin, because it will be the sting of your puppy. You can use it daily until the itching disappears. Coconut oil If you do not have coconut oil in your home, get a little more! You and your furry friend will benefit from this. Coconut oil is a great moisturizer for topical application, but can also be given orally to help boost your dog's immune system. To relieve itching, you can apply coconut oil directly to your dog's skin. This will help moisturize and soothe your dog's skin.

For more details send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org*** Hi there, Lyndall Pinchen Canine Naturopath from Canine Vitality back again for this week’s blog on my top 5 supplements to help your dog survive ALLERGY season! Yes, if you live in the Southern hemisphere like I do, our Winter has come to an end (yayyy!!) and Spring has sprung. And while I personally love Spring, I know that there are many of you out there that are starting to get heart palpitations just thinking about how your dog is going to make it through yet another allergy season. If you dog suffers from allergies, they can make him or her feel pretty miserable not to mention the stress it creates for you as the owner. And maybe you can relate to this? Does your dog suffer from recurring allergies and you seem to be on a never ending cycle of steroids and antibiotics come Spring? Your dog might tend to scratch all the time especially during the night, keeping you all awake. Skin rashes, lumps, hotspots and yeast infections are common presentations...Or they may have low energy and seem quite depressed. All of this is pretty common in dogs suffering from any sort of chronic allergy problem. So today I wanted to share with you what I believe are the top 5 supplements that can really help your dog during Spring season or really at anytime of the year to combat those allergy problems. Now while I am giving you my top 5, there are numerous supplements that can assist in the natural treatment of allergies and all of these work far better when you have your dog on an appropriate diet, which for me is raw and organic. This is really the first place to start when treating any allergy issue. Remember that all processed foods can lead to a build up of toxins in the body (particularly the gut) and this can actually mimic allergy symptoms so I always work to get a dog off all the processed foods. So with that being said, let’s look at my top 5: 1. Probiotics- there is so much in the media today about the benefits of probiotics and fermented foods for the health of our guts, and the same definitely applies when it come to our dogs. Probiotics (or live beneficial bacteria) are really essential for the health of the gut and immune systems and this is often at the centre of allergy issues. A good quality probiotic added into your dog’s food can help boost up the level of good bacteria already present in the digestive tract and this not only helps keep other less desirable microbes from proliferating but also assists in the treatment of leaky gut syndrome which is often at the root of yeast infections and the development of many allergies. You can read more about leaky gut by going to my blog. It’s important to give your dog a multistrain and dairy free probiotic and add in one that is at 10-20 billion. ***$10.00 OFF ALL SIZES OF HERBAL DETOX MIX FOR SEPTEMBER. This is a video of me and my Snoo'! Snoopy has seasonal allergies - he gets EXTREMELY itchy! He can't sleep at night because of how intensely itchy he gets. The itchiness is always in his armpit area and on the fronts of his paws. So, while he walks he needs to scratch, so he hops and jumps around while walking. Because of Snoopy's physical barriers, he is unable to actual scratch himself, because his legs can't reach. This may be a blessing in disguise because this impedes him from irritating the itchy spot further, but alas, it's torture in any form. For each summer I've been trying to figure out what works. Last summer I tried oatmeal baths, special doggy shampoo baths, calamine lotion, aloe, anti-itch creams... the Calamine seemed to work best, but it is so messy and sticky! It sticks in his fur and becomes all matted down. I wanted to try something different. So, I've tried this Epsom Salts bath, which I have read about. People seem to say that it can soothe itchy irritations, and can be calming for people and pets alike. Let's hope it works!

Just a few topical treatments for your dog's itchy winter skin. Besides the coconut oil, vitamin E, oatmeal and apple cider vinegar, you can also combat your dog's dry skin from the inside. In addition to feeding your dog yogurt, you could try giving him/her a tablespoon or two (depending on size) of olive or coconut oil in the food 3x a week. Both are nutritious oils that will help the skin maintain its moisture level. I wouldn't give it more often otherwise you dog may gain weight. Each oil contains about 120 calories per tablespoon and while that may not sound like a lot for you or me it can be a significant amount for smaller dogs in particular. Bigger and more energetic dogs could probably tolerate an additional day without weight gain. Also, daily brushing your dog with help to distribute natural oils over the skin. Thanks for watching!! If you are living in the Southern hemisphere, it is starting to get colder as we go into our Winter months. However, I am still regularly seeing itchy dogs coming into clinic regardless of the season. Can you relate to that? Is your dog itching and scratching whether it’s summer of winter....essentially all year round??. So I wanted to look at what is often confused as ‘allergies’ in our dogs- an infection that can often be resistant and difficult to get on top of- and that’s YEAST! In today’s post we’ll look at what yeast infections are, how they develop and how they can often mimic allergies in your dog. And I’ll give you some tips on how to help overcome these too! So let’s dive in and take a closer look at yeast infections. In my clinic I see so many dogs coming in that have some sort of yeast infection. Commonly this will be a recurrent ear infection, or incessant paw licking. But yeast can affect many other areas of your dogs body. Dogs that suffer from yeast infections may be generally itchy all over or even suffer from hotspots. Their skin may appear blackened or there maybe be black ‘spots’ on the skin that don’t wash off and you may also notice rust like stains on areas where there has been excessive licking. There is often hair loss around the tail and back areas. And then there is that classic yeasty smell – a bit like a combination of mouldy socks and corn chips all rolled into one. Once you have smelled this you never forget it!!In addition, there may be internal gut symptoms like bloating, bowel changes. The symptoms of yeast infections can be minor or become deeply chronic over time if left untreated or if incorrectly diagnosed. So what causes yeast to be such an issue? Well, firstly it’s important to note that every dog (much like every human) has a healthy population of yeasts living in the gut and on the skin including ears, genitals and between the paw pads. Now as long as your dog’s immune system is strong and healthy, the yeast will never cause an issue as it lives in harmony with thousands of other normal microbes that are also present. However, problems arise when the immune system starts to become compromised and stressed, yeast populations start to rise and become out of balance. Dogs Itching Skin Home Remedies: In this video, I am going to share with you dogs itching skin home remedies - dry skin on dog home remedy. Subscribe to our channel for more videos. Watch: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6v44tToGcE) If your dog is scratching constantly, it’s not a good sign! In fact, itchy skin, medically known as pruritus, is one of the main reasons dogs are taken to the vet. People tend to assume that constant scratching is a sign that their dog has fleas. Oftentimes they are correct, but there are other reasons that a dog may be scratching to no end. 1. Apple Cider Vinegar Raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar is one of the best remedies for a dog suffering from itchy skin. 1.Pour raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and an equal amount of water into a spray bottle. 2.Give it a shake to mix up the ingredients. 3.Spray the solution all over your dog’s haircoat. 4.Allow it to dry on its own. 5.Use this remedy 1 or 2 times a day, depending upon the severity of itchiness. 2. Vitamin E If your dog is scratching their skin a lot due to dry skin, the solution to the problem is vitamin E. * Break open 1 or 2 vitamin E capsules and extract the oil. The quantity needed depends upon the size of your pet. * Rub the oil directly on your dog’s skin, so that it gets fully absorbed into the skin. * Repeat 2 or 3 times a day until the itchiness has stopped. 3. Coconut Oil Whether used orally or topically, coconut oil may be the answer to your dog’s itchy skin. * To apply topically, add ½ cup of extra-virgin coconut oil with 2 drops of oil of oregano and mix thoroughly. Rub the mixture on your dog’s itchy spots. Do it twice daily. * To administer orally, mix between 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin coconut oil (depending on the size of your dog) into your dog’s meal. Do it once a day while your dog has itchy skin. 4. Yogurt For itching skin due to a yeast infection, yogurt is a good remedy. * To apply topically, gently rub some plain yogurt on your dog’s skin. Leave it on for a few hours, then rinse it out with lukewarm water. Repeat once daily. * To administer orally, feed your dog plain yogurt once daily for a few weeks. The quantity depends upon the size of your dog. Use 1 teaspoon for small dogs and up to 3 tablespoons for big dogs. 5. Lemon Being highly acidic, lemon can heal microscopic parasites that lead to itchy skin in dogs. It also helps heal the irritated or damaged skin. * Thinly slice a whole lemon, including the rind. * Steep it overnight in a pot of warm water (use 3 to 4 cups of water). * Use it to give your pet a sponge bath. * Allow the it to air-dry. * Do this once daily. Thanks for watching you dogs itching skin home remedies - dry skin on dog home remedy video and don't forget to like, comment and share.

Click Here: http://go1.in/942686 Stop Dog Food Allergies Now Receive a Free Mini Dog Food Report If your dog shows signs of allergies and you are certain it is not from inhalants in the environment, fleas in his coat or other health problems, your dog could suffer from dog food allergies. Has your dog been eating one particular food or a favorite treat for several months or even years? He may have developed an allergy to ingredients in that food. Your dog can go for months or even years eating the same food with no problem, but over time his immune system will accumulate enough antibodies to finally result in an allergic reaction. If your dog has a bad reaction to a food the first time he eats it, this is a food intolerance caused by a toxin in the food. Its unfortunate that there more toxins out there than we know about. Eliminate that food immediately from his diet. While it’s natural to think that if your dog has a food allergy, he may exhibit indigestion, nausea or diarrhea. A toxin in his system would cause this reaction. Almost all canine food allergies cause severe itching skin. You dog may chew incessantly on his legs and paws. If your dog has intestinal distress after a meal, you are almost certainly looking at food intolerance and not an allergy. The difficulty in diagnosing food allergies in dogs is that most dogs who are allergic will suffer from more than one allergy. So even if you were to attempt to diagnose your dog’s food allergy by changing his diet, and your dog began experiencing the itching skin of a flea allergy, you might mistakenly think the change of diet was ineffective in treating the food allergy. The only way to determine the problem is its a toxin or allergy, is to change in diet. This will effectively eliminate all other possible causes for your dog’s symptoms. Place your dog on an “elimination trial “ diet for two to three months. Your vet may either recommend a commercial food which will suit the purposes of an elimination trial diet, or he may suggest you prepare your dog’s food at home. While your dog is on the elimination diet, DO NOT allow treats or table scraps. Take away chew toys. If there are other dogs around, keep your pet away from their droppings. Some dogs will nibble on other dogs’ waste. This will invalidate your elimination trial diet. If your dog’s symptoms are improved after two or three months on the elimination trial diet, you’ll know that a food allergy was causing them. If they haven’t improved, or have worsened, you’ll have to look elsewhere for the cause. You can let your pet return to the old way of eating. One precaution: if you decide to make your dog’s elimination trial diet yourself, it may be lacking the essential vitamins, trace minerals, and fatty acids necessary to maintain your pet’s health. You’ll need to add supplements to ensure the proper balance. . Does your dog have itchy skin? Does he lick himself crazy? Are you wondering if the problem is really allergies? Get the Help that can really make a difference - finally: https://www.nzymes.com/dog-skin-problems-types-treatments/healthy-skin-program/ You take your dog to the vet and they say he has allergies and usually prescribe steroids, antibiotics and/or other medications – and it most likely hasn’t worked. Why? – Veterinarians define an “allergy” as the overreaction of the immune system – so when they see your dog’s immune system over-reacting this way (itching, scratching, hot spots, etc.) they automatically assume allergies. What is often missed is the overgrowth of yeast that is happening within your dog’s digestive tract… And this is what causes the immune system to over-react. The majority of these skin problems in dogs are a direct result of this overgrowth of yeast or leaky gut syndrome…https://www.nzymes.com/canine-health/dog-digestive-problems/systemic-yeast-infection-in-dogs/ To learn the 5 simple steps to helping your dog overcome these skin issues, click here: http://www.nzymes.com/dog-skin-problems-types-treatments/5-steps-to-dogs-healthy-skin/
