And there was one thing in particular that I noticed on almost everything around: Hydrogenated oils. You know, I'm sure you've seen it - 5 Studies That Show How Hydrogenated Oils Destroy Your Body (Margarine Especially) What Research Has Found On Them 1. Increases LDL cholesterol In the first study, people over aged 50 were given one of four diets for around 35 days - partially hydrogenated soybean oil, soybean oil, palm oil, or canola oil. Palm and partially hydrogenated soybean oil showed an increase in LDL cholesterol. 2. Causes inflammation and hardening of the arterial walls A second study found that partially hydrogenated vegetable oils cause inflammation and calcification of arterial walls: known risk factors for coronary heart disease. Aka it's bad for your heart. 3. Colorectal cancer risk A third study done in the southern USA wanted to see if trans-fatty acids were linked to colorectal cancer risk at all. And here's what they found: are hydrogenated oils good or bad for you cancer The higher the consumptions of trans fatty acids, the higher the risk of colorectal cancer in white people but not African Americans. 4. Cardiovascular disease In another study, male rats were fed a standard chow or high-fat diet containing different TFA levels ranging from less than 1%, less than 2%, and greater than 2% of total fat in fresh soybean oil, oxidized soybean oil, and margarine, respectively, for 4 weeks. And here's what happened (poor lil suckers): Triglycerides significantly increased Total cholesterol went up LDL (bad) cholesterol went up The worst effect came from margarine, which had the highest levels of trans fatty acids - and the margarine rat group had DOUBLE the level of trans fatty acids (and thus saw a correlated increase in heart disease risk. 5. For every 2% increase in trans-fatty acids consumption, there's a 20-32% increased risk of heart attack or death. A final meta-analysis of multiple studies indicated 24, 20, 27 and 32% higher risk of myocardial infarction - heart attack - or cardiac-related deaths for every 2% energy of TFA consumption. So let's put that in perspective. For every 2% of your calories coming from these trans fatty acids, the risk of DYING goes up between 24-32%. Yes, dying. Your Tiny Habit For Today Hehe... this one is easy. Eat hydrogenated oils, and you will DIE!! Just kidding. Actually, not really. But in all seriousness, it can seem like it's pretty tough to avoid these because they seem ever-present. So where are they, and how do you avoid them? First, these are almost exclusively found in boxed and packaged foods. They're extremely common on shelf-foods because it helps the oils become more stable and thus preserve better. The easiest rule is the simplest - just eat real food, as best you can. That means cooking whatever you can, eating fresh produce whenever you can, and avoiding anything in a box as best you can. If you have to buy boxed or canned food, read the ingredients because there's almost always something added (sugar, fat, salt). Where Have You Spotted Hydrogenated Oils Hiding? 💋 How Poor Blood Flow Causes Erectile Dysfunction & How To Quickly Fix It

06:05
How I quickly improved my dad’s blood flow in only 30 days and avoided the #1 cause of a heart attack or stroke: 👉http://drsam.co/yt/BetterFlow Or go and watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbNyVIqZ36s =============================================== 💋 How Poor Blood Flow Causes Erectile Dysfunction & How To Quickly Fix It =============================================== However, today I want to discuss how poor blood flow can also be a major cause of erectile dysfunction. I’ll also reveal 3 clinically proven ways to quickly fix this problem So if you have any degree of erectile dysfunction, you should watch this video. However, if you’re also not achieving rock-solid erections every time you’re going to have sex... like used to when you were younger… Then you should also watch this video because “weak” erections is an indicator that your health is not optimal…. Both in respect to hormonal imbalances, as well as decreased blood flow and circulation. In fact Rush University Medical Center1 states that bad circulation is one of the most common causes of erectile dysfunction, second to hormonal imbalance. What’s interesting is that the newest research shows that men with erectile dysfunction (ED), typically also have heart problems.2 Thus, ED is a pre-warning sign that you may have a heart attack or stroke in the future because you have a buildup of plaque and calcium in your blood vessels.2 3 Clinically Proven Ways To Increase Blood Flow & Improve Your Erections =-=-=-=-=- 1 - DIET Diet obviously plays a big role in improving your blood flow and reducing plaque buildup. The good news is that it’s never too late to eat a healthier diet. Just as years of bad eating can damage your body, good eating can help heal it and it can happen quickly. Add more “healthy” fats to your diet. These are typically mono and poly unsaturated fats. They’re found in foods like olives, raw seeds and nuts, avocados, and fish. These should be RAW and uncooked. Eliminate “unhealthy” and artificial sources of trans fats. Most artificial trans fats are found in processed, packaged foods like cookies and snack cakes. These have been heated and are hydrogenated. They are also high in omega 6 fats, which causes inflammation. Even regular so-called “healthy” oils like canola, cause inflammation. Increase your fiber intake. Soluble fiber helps prevent and remove plaque buildup. You can find soluble fiber in foods like vegetables, lentils, beans, and oats. I would also add in fiber supplements as well, especially if you have a hard time getting it all from food. Cut back on sugar. The sugar found in processed foods like cookies, ice cream, and sugar-sweetened beverages has no nutritional value. Unfortunately, sugar is hidden in almost all “man-made” foods. They increase your blood sugar levels... Which when combined with the unhealthy fats, clogs your arteries and reduces blood flow. 2 -- Exercise First, we all need to move more. All we tend to do is sit all day long -- computer, phone, driving, eating, work, etc. The reason exercise is important is because it helps improve your youth hormones, which then helps your body naturally get rid of toxins - this includes plaque. You should lift weights and do cardio - both are needed. And in my opinion, “resistance exercise” is more important than cardiovascular. This means lifting weights - which can be with free weights, machines, cables or simply your own bodyweight. And if you workout quickly, it will also give you a very strong cardiovascular workout at the same time. You only need 3x weekly and I would add in daily walking as well. 3 -- Take Specific Supplements Taking specific herbs, vitamins and minerals that are clinically proven to help your improve blood flow and circulation, will give you the biggest and fastest improvements in preventing AND removing plaque buildup. And thus, improving blood flow to your penis for better, fuller and bigger erections. You can get more information about which herbs, minerals and vitamins are the best, by clicking the special link below this video in the description area. Of course, supplements do NOT take the place of a healthy lifestyle. However, when combined together, it’s like being on “steroids”. You’ll get much faster and more dramatic results, with LESS effort. And for many people, like my own parents, it’s made the biggest difference in removing the plaque build up, while also preventing future growth. ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. Is Peanut Butter Bad for You?

05:57
For more info: https://draxe.com/peanut-butter-nutrition-facts/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Jan-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=peanutbutter Is peanut butter bad for you? The answer is yes and no. It depends on how much you consume, the variety of nut you’re eating, and what the rest of your diet looks like. To put it simply, peanut butter can be harmful because peanuts are high in omega-6 fats, which causes inflammation. We do not consume enough omega-3 fats, which reduce inflammation. Secondly, peanuts are grown on the ground and can develop mold, which can be a factor in a lot of kid’s allergy developments today. If you want to eat your peanut butter and still be healthy, here are some tips. When you’re buying peanuts, make sure you’re buying a certified organic brand, usually Valencia or Jungle peanuts, which are grown on bushes higher up from the ground, avoiding mold. Additionally, adding flax seed oil or fish oil supplements to your diet to increase your level of omega-3 fats is important. Consuming peanut butter can be part of a healthy diet if you’re consuming it with the right type of foods. Peanuts are one of the highest forms of plant-based proteins available today, as well. So, if you buy organic, jungle peanuts and you’re consuming a lot of omega-3 fats in your diet, then it can be healthy to consume peanut butter. However, the biggest problem with peanut butter today is that 99% of peanut butters contain hydrogenated oils, are non-organic, and people are consuming too many omega-6 fats. For this reason, peanut butter is not good for you and can cause weight gain and inflammation. If you want to learn more about inflammation, check out this article: http://draxe.com/turmeric-benefits/ Omega 3 fat article: http://draxe.com/omega-3-benefits-plus-top-10-omega-3-foods-list/ Chia seed article: http://draxe.com/ancient-superseed-chia-increases-energy-and-metabolism/ *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. ► 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven]

05:39
See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/StartLoweringYourCholesterolNaturally =============================== 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven] =============================== Cholesterol has many benefits and it’s definitely NOT your “enemy”. In fact, “low” cholesterol is just as bad as “high” cholesterol levels. However, there are certain foods that are really bad for you and can quickly increase your “bad” cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. Under this video I’ve got a special bonus video about how you can quickly lower your cholesterol levels in less than 30 days, naturally - without changing your diet or exercising. So make sure you take a look... However, let’s first start with the 5 worsts, clinically proven - “high cholesterol” foods that you must avoid! Dairy I’ve been saying this for over 2 decades - Milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows! Additionally, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk, increases your cholesterol and stresses your liver. It doesn’t matter if it’s whole, low or nonfat dairy, it’s all the same. Unfortunately, this also includes two of my favorite foods, ice cream and cheese! Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated and saturated fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It’s cheap food. It may be easy and good for your wallet, but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later in life. Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shell-fish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. All the cholesterol and fat is located in the egg YOLK, which is why most “experts” say you should only consume egg whites. However, most of the nutrients, antioxidants and half the essential amino acids (protein) are also found in the yolk. The problem is when you COOK the yolk - such as hard-boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages both the structure of the protein and fat. So the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or lightly cooked, so the yolk is still runny. Don’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats. And make sure it’s organic, free-range eggs. Baked Foods/Carbs (Snacks Too) Baked foods such as muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… The types of foods most people eat in the morning when they’re in a rush, or with their coffee or at work as a snack… These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. “Bad” fats increase cholesterol. “Bad” fats + carbs/sugar REALLY increase your cholesterol and lead to numerous health issues. The combination is super unhealthy. Under this same category -- “Snack Foods” such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items are almost as bad as these bakes foods. Very High Triglycerides "Do Not Eat" List | HealthiNation

04:05
Learn about the primary foods to avoid on the "Do Not Eat List" when you have very high triglycerides. Related Videos: Very High Triglyceride Tip: Diet Swaps | HealthiNation http://youtu.be/8Bf5az1xL3c High Cholesterol Foods to Avoid (Part 1 of 2) | HealthiNation http://youtu.be/o5ejKLECuWs The most positive approach to improving your health, for example when striving for a healthy diet, is to concentrate on what you CAN DO. But sometimes we need to know what NOT to do or eat. And, when you have very high triglycerides...there are certain foods and ingredients that you should avoid. You may know some of them...like sugars and fats. But there are other subtleties regarding what foods to avoid and why they are on the "Do Not Eat List" when you have very high triglycerides. When we have very high triglycerides, we have too much fat in our blood. That fat comes from the foods we eat, and our bodies can also make it from the extra calories in our diet. So it is important to watch what we eat. The first ingredients on our "Do Not Eat" list are certain fats—they are called the "bad fats." Trans fats are one of the worst fats out there, so you should strive to avoid these completely. On labels, they may be hiding under the name "hydrogenated" or "partially hydrogenated" oil. Fried foods, shortenings, and commercially processed junk foods may contain trans fats. The good news is the food industry has cut way back on its use of trans fat. In fact, trans fats are banned in some places. Unfortunately, manufacturers often substitute saturated fat for trans fat. Saturated fat is also a "bad fat"—read labels and limit, for example, foods with tropical oils. These include coconut, palm and palm kernel oils. The American Heart Association recommends that no more than seven percent of your daily caloric intake should come from saturated fat. No problem...there's lots of "fat-free" foods in the grocery store, right? Yes, just be careful—these usually replace fat calories with sugar calories. Why should this matter? Sugar equals calories. And if those calories are not burned immediately for energy, they are converted into triglycerides in the body. So you need to watch your intake. Read labels and limit foods with simple sugars listed in the first few ingredients: sucrose, glucose, fructose, corn syrup, honey, molasses and maltose. You will also need to avoid sugary drinks like sodas, fruit juice and the sugar packets you may like in your coffee and tea. "Refined" or white breads and pastas are all simple carbohydrates—which is a fancy way of saying sugar. These grains have had many of their nutrients stripped away during the refining process. All of these foods are easily broken down into sugars, and then stored as fat. So, that means white breads, white rice, white pastas are also on the "Do Not Eat" list. Now that you have an idea of what not to eat, one last word on what not to drink. Alcohol. Whether it is wine, liquor, or beer, alcohol can contribute to very high triglyceride levels. Alcohol adds extra calories to the diet—which we have already learned can be converted to triglycerides. Alcohol actually packs a lot more calories per gram than carbohydrates (7 calories per gram versus 4 calories per gram). Also, people tend to make poor diet choices when drinking; meaning an already indulgent dinner can easily move right into dessert! If you have very high triglycerides, it is recommended that you avoid alcohol all together. But, as a general guideline, the American Heart Association recommends no more than one drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men. Managing very high triglycerides with diet can be done. But, it requires willpower and dedication. Most of all...reduce excess calories and keep your weight in check. For some people, however, dietary changes will not be enough. That is why it is important to work with your doctor and to find an overall treatment plan that works for you. Sources: Rosenson RS. Approach to the patient with hypertriglyceridemia. Most of the time doctors only put patients on drugs without any kind of recommendations for dietary changes. When I was searching for a cure for my high blood pressure I learned that natural treatments and small diet changes were the only way I was going to cure my hypertension, instead of just masking the symptoms. To cure your hypertension you must first make a few lifestyle changes. You should change your diet by adding high potassium fruits and vegetables and limit super salty foods. Also make it a habit to exercise regularly, like walking 4 days out of the week. If walking is to hard for you start off with walking for 5 minutes a day. Minerals are great at lowering your blood pressure. The following minerals potassium, magnesium glycinate, and calcium all have an effect on blood volume and they relax the vessels. Potassium is good for increasing blood volume and it also helps you excrete sodium. The safest way to get potassium is through foods. Magnesium helps to dilate the vessels and its good to take with diuretics. The mineral calcium is most effective for women to take to lower there blood pressure. Fish oil and flaxseed oil are vital for lowering your blood pressure. The Best Foods To Prevent Clogged Arteries!

05:09
OUR WEBSITE : http://justhealthrelated.com/ The Best Foods To Prevent Clogged Arteries! Arteries are the plumbing system of our body– they carry blood abundant in oxygen and nutrients to every cell. Similar to a house with bust plumbing is doomed, so is the body if we let the arteries get clogged and hardened. Food high in hydrogenated fats, processed sugars and chemicals, smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, and lack of exercise, will reduce the arteries’ circumference, as gunk gets deposited on the walls. This condition is known as arteriosclerosis, and it’s a significant risk factor for heart disease, heart attack and stroke. Can you reverse clogged arteries? According to WebMD, simple life changes, including what you eat, can undo a few of the damage. They mention Dr. Dean Ornish whose studies show that significant lifestyle changes had major effects on heart health. His studies reveal that even severely blocked arteries in the heart became less blocked after a year, and there was even more reversal after 5 years. Just as you can make your arteries deteriorate by what you eat, you can also keep them healthy by picking the best foods. Here is a list of foods that will help to prevent clogged arteries: #1. Kiwifruit and cantaloupe: Antioxidant-rich fruits that lower the LDL cholesterol (called ‘bad cholesterol’) in the blood, and reduce plaque adhered to arterial walls. Eat one kiwifruit a day, or a cup of cantaloupe. #2. Oily fish: Salmon, tuna and herring all contain omega-3 fatty acids, which are a source of good fats and prevent the clogging plaque from forming. Make sure you get sustainably captured fish, and avoid buying farmed salmon, as its meat usually contains harmful chemicals and has less omega-3. #3. Berries and red grapes: Grapes contain flavonoids, which stop the bad cholesterol from oxidizing. Strawberries, cherries, cranberries and other berries contain powerful anti-oxidants and are loaded with vitamins. Purchase them organic to avoid the pesticide overload. #4. Garlic: Garlic has lots of medicinal properties. It lowers blood pressure and bad cholesterol levels. For medicinal effect, consume one to two minced raw garlic cloves. If you use supplements, look for the amount of allicin which is the garlic’s active ingredient. #5. Apples and grapefruits: An apple a day keeps the doctor away. The pectin (soluble fiber) in these fruits, lowers the bad cholesterol, while the minerals potassium and magnesium aid to control blood pressure. #6. Spinach: Rich in vitamins A and C, which help to prevent the clogging plaque from developing. Popeye’s favorite food also contains a lot of potassium and folic acid, therefore reducing high blood pressure. #7. Olive oil: A source of omega-3 fatty acids, olive oil is one of the good oils. Use cold-pressed natural oil and apply moderation in the amounts you eat, as fat is still fat. #8. Tomatoes: Antioxidant-rich food that prevents the oxidization of LDL cholesterol. If you consume them regularly, you can cut your risk of arteriosclerosis by half. #9. Green tea: Flavonoids in green tea are effective anti-oxidants. A good quality green tea will also prevent the development of blood clots and help maintain healthy linings of the arteries. Drink a cup a day. #10. Pomegranate: Another terrific antioxidant-rich fruit. Pomegranate prevents the hardening of the arteries and can even reverse this disease. #11. Oats: Due to the high content of soluble fiber, oats lower bad cholesterol by removing it from the body. Consume ½ cup of oat-bran cereal daily to help lower your bad cholesterol levels. You can eat it for breakfast and add in oatmeal or bran to dishes at other times of the day. #12. Walnuts: Contain polyunsaturated fats that are mainly found in plant-based oils and foods and can improve your cholesterol levels, reduce your heart disease risk, lessen your chance of type 2 diabetes and regulate blood pressure. They also contain omega-3 fats that help clear stopped up arteries. Eating a little, palm-sized portion each day will help to clean up the arteries and keep blood flow strong throughout your body. There are other healthy reasons to eat walnuts every day. #13. Turmeric: This common spice has numerous health benefits, and may protect arteries from fatty accumulation according to a research in mice. The study suggests that curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, may prevent the development of clogged arteries which is a major risk factor for heart attacks and strokes. 9 Foods Diabetics Should Never Eat

04:31
Both type 1 and type 2 diabetes can be debilitating diseases that negatively affect a person’s quality of life. Diabetes is caused by high blood sugar levels in the blood when the pancreas isn’t able to do its job properly or when certain cells don’t use the insulin that the pancreas supplies. Today’s video will reveal 9 foods that people who suffer from diabetes should remove from their diets. With exercise and sensible food choices, a person who has been diagnosed with diabetes can normally keep their blood sugar levels at manageable levels. Here are the foods we recommend diabetics avoid: 1. Fruit Juices Store bought fruit juices are full of extra sugar that will cause glucose levels to spike. Drinking these kinds of juices on a regular basis has been proven to increase the risk of type 2 diabetes. Eating a piece of natural, whole fruit is a great alternative. 2. Sugary Carbonated Drinks Soft drinks and energy drinks are terrible for our bodies. They contain an enormous amount of sugar and calories that are making people obese at an alarming rate. Those who already struggle with weight issues are more likely to run the risk of developing diabetes, if they continue to consume these drinks that are full of preservatives and additives. 3. White Bread There’s an old adage that says, “The whiter the bread, the quicker you’re dead.” Although that may be alarming, for someone with diabetes, this kind of bread that contains bleached flours and refined starches doesn’t do much for us besides drive our blood sugar levels up. Refined carbohydrates are best to avoid. Instead, look for whole grains and oats that contain more fiber and don’t cause spikes in blood sugar levels. 4. White Rice Here’s another refined product that diabetics should avoid. Studies have shown that if you eat white rice once a day, you’re 27% more likely to develop diabetes than if you were to eat whole grains on a daily basis. White rice is digested easily by our bodies and causes our glucose levels to rise quickly after eating it. Grains with a high fiber count are better for us than white rice. 5. Potatoes Though they taste great and are filling, the starchy potato should be avoided by those who suffer from blood sugar problems. The starch in potatoes gets broken down too quickly by our bodies and is absorbed into the blood stream. When that happens, our blood sugar levels are going to rise quickly. This warning also includes French fries and potato chips. Not only are both made from potatoes, they’re also deep fried in hydrogenated oils that lead to an increase in cholesterol levels. So, eating French fries could lead to a greater risk of diabetes and heart disease. 6. Artificial Sweeteners Slick marketing tactics have sold artificial sweeteners to diabetics as a healthy alternative to sugar. They’re not. These industrialized products hurt us more than help us by reducing insulin sensitivity. They also tend to slow down our metabolism and calorie burning ability. For someone with diabetes, it would be better to consume sugar in moderation than these chemically-ridden sweeteners. 7. Raisins Raisins are a quick and tasty snack that’s rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber. But they also cause spikes in blood sugar, and that’s why people with diabetes should try to avoid them. 8. Fat Cuts of Meat Fatty cuts of pork or red meats like beef and lamb are harmful to those with blood sugar issues. They contain saturated fats and increase the risk of heart disease. They also increase inflammation in the body. 9. Whole Milk Dairy products are also loaded with saturated fats—especially whole milk and anything that is labeled as a full-fat dairy product. These kinds of dairy products raise cholesterol levels—most notably the LDL or bad cholesterol. They also have a negative effect on our insulin resistance. Almond milk is a healthier alternative. Top 10 Cancer Causing Foods You Should Avoid

08:56
Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells. There are more than 100 types of cancer, including breast cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lymphoma. Possible signs and symptoms include a lump, abnormal bleeding, prolonged cough, unexplained weight loss and a change in bowel movements. Many cancers can be prevented by not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight, not drinking too much alcohol, eating plenty of vegetables, fruits and whole grains, not eating too much processed and red meat, and by avoiding many cancer causing foods that we have listed below. Microwave popcorn bags are lined with perfluorooctanoic acid, a compound that has been linked to various types of cancer, including liver, testicular and pancreatic cancer. Canned foods allow you to enjoy your favorite vegetables throughout the year. However, if you are concerned about your health, avoid canned food, especially canned tomatoes. The cans used to pack tomatoes and other foods are lined with a product called bisphenol A, BPA, an endocrine disruptor that may mimic or disrupt hormones and increase the risks for breast cancer, prostate cancer, early puberty, metabolic disorders, infertility, and several other problems. Farmed salmon is nowhere near as healthy as wild salmon, and eating farmed salmon puts you at a higher risk of developing cancer. Farm-raised fish are fed unnatural diets and contaminated with chemicals, antibiotics, pesticides and other known carcinogens found in materials like asbestos. Hydrogenated oils are vegetable oils, which cannot be naturally extracted like olive oil, soy or canola oil, they are chemically extracted from vegetables and is again chemically treated to change the smell and taste. This process turns unsaturated fat into a stable solid fat, resulting in trans fatty hydrogenated oil which is considered to be the worst type of fat and is known to cause cancer, heart disease, and immune system problems. Potato chips are deep-fried in temperatures above 120 degrees Celsius, which causes them to create a material called acrylamide, a well-known carcinogen found in cigarettes. Genetically modified foods (GMOs) are a rapidly growing industry and have made their way into the majority of our foods like corn, potatoes, grains and soybeans. Such food products are grown using harmful chemicals and, when consumed, can lead to immune system, brain and liver damage. Refined sugar, artificial sweeteners and fructose-rich sweeteners like high-fructose corn syrup are not good for your health. These products tend to rapidly spike insulin levels and feed the growth of cancer cells. Refined White flour contains excess carbohydrates that are not good for your health and even increase the risk of cancer. During the milling process, white flour is bleached with chlorine gas, which is highly toxic for the body. Processed meats such as ham, sausage and bacon have chemicals and preservatives like sodium nitrates, which make them bad for your health. In addition, processed meat contains excessive salt, which is also not good for you. Pickled and smoked foods are delicious but, at the same time, very harmful to the body. In fact, smoked meats that pick up tar from the smoking process cause extreme harm to your body. Plus, most pickled foods contain nitrates that turn into N-nitroso, which increases your risk of cancer.

Top 5 Worst Cooking Oils for Your Heart, Brain, and Skin

03:19
Top 5 Worst Cooking Oils for Your Heart, Brain, and Skin. Let’s face it: Americans love fried foods. Whether it’s a delicious funnel cake from the county fair or an order of fries at a restaurant, the amount of fried foods we consume each year is significant. Whether we’re frying foods or simply incorporating oil into a recipe, we need to be conscious of the cooking oils we consume. After all, oil can clog arteries and create significant long-term health issues. The worst cooking oils we can incorporate into our diet are processed vegetable oils such as corn, canola, cottonseed, sunflower, and soy. older people and heart patients should never use these oils in their diet. Aside from their extraction from genetically modified crops, these oils are infused with petroleum-based chemical components. At high frying temperatures, this destroys the nutrition we need from foods. When these oils are processed, the smell of the chemicals characterizes the risk they pose for your heart, brain, and skin. However, they are chemically deodorized before being sold to the public on supermarket shelves. Inaccurate research and dishonest marketing sell these oils to the public as “natural” and “healthy,” which couldn’t be further from the truth. The average American consumes 3 or more tablespoons of vegetable oil every day. Because you may be ingesting unhealthy substances without even realizing you are doing so, it’s critical to consider the source and healthiness of the oil used in your cooking. Aside from the five oils i spoke of, you’ll want to avoid anything that’s “partially hydrogenated,” such as vegetable and soybean oil. These fats are extra-saturated and lead to the “bad” cholesterol, which increases the likelihood for heart disease and other health issues. Healthy Oils for Cooking. Even though many oils can damage your heart, brain, and skin, there are many cooking oils that actually help you live a healthy lifestyle. Of course, one of the healthiest oils you can consume is olive oil, though you probably shouldn’t use this in your cooking. Remember, 70-80 percent of the fat found in olive oil is monounsaturated, meaning that it’s relatively high in MUFA content, which lowers reactivity. In other words, it’s not the most ideal oil for higher cooking temperatures, despite its other health benefits. Unlike oils that are processed from seeds, avocado oil is taken from the tree itself and includes many of the benefits that the fresh fruit does. Coconut oil boasts incredible benefits for your hair, skin, and cholesterol levels. In fact, used in moderation, coconut oil can even increase bone strength, improve high blood pressure, and help regulate blood sugar for those suffering with diabetes. Have you eliminated these oils from your diet? What oils have you added? If you’re conscientious about the cooking oils you use, we’d love to hear about it below. If you have any questions ask them in the comments below. Thank you for watching. please like, comment, subscribe and share this video with your friends and family.

9 Foods You Should Never Eat After 30

01:35
Let’s face it! Everyone ages as time passes. Nothing can really turn back the clock- neither denial nor plastic surgery. Just like your choices of clothing, hair styling, entertainment, or even people change as you mature, so should your dietary preferences. No matter how passionately you love certain foods, your body might feel otherwise once you cross a certain age barrier. Here are 9 foods that you should probably stay away from once you turn 30! Caffeinated Drinks: There is a significant association between drinking caffeinated coffee and the decrease of bone mineral density, which leads to osteoporosis. The daily consumption of caffeinated drinks can increase blood sugar levels and cause problems for people with diabetes. Caffeine is a diuretic and can cause dehydration. Caffeine can prevent some from falling asleep and interferes with deep sleep, which can lead to fatigue during the day. Processed Meats: Processed meat has consistently been linked with harmful effects on health. Eating processed meat is associated with increased risk of many chronic diseases like high blood pressure, heart diseases, bowel and stomach cancer. There is no doubt that processed meat contains many harmful chemicals that are not naturally present in fresh meat. Energy Foods: Protein bars contain excess sugar, preservatives, artificial flavors and hydrogenated vegetable oils, which compromises their nutritional quality. Some protein bars lack vitamins and minerals and may not be an adequate meal replacement. Excess consumption of protein may lead to diarrhea, dehydration and nausea. Packaged Foods: Packaged food contains preservatives like aspartame, sulfates, benzoate and yellow dye No. 5 may cause breathing problems like asthma. Saturated fats raise cholesterol levels. Some Preservatives may lead to hyperactive behavior, especially in case of growing kids. They might increase the risk of infertility. Preservatives like sodium and nitrates increase your blood pressure thus damaging the blood vessels and weakening heart tissues. Preservatives like nitrites and nitrates may react with stomach and gastric juices to form carcinogens( cancer-causing agents), which may have adverse effects on your health. Fried Desserts: People who eat a lot of fried foods may have a higher risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease, according to a large, long-term study. Eating fried foods away from home where frying oil may not be fresh—posed the greatest risk. With each reuse, oil becomes more degraded, and more gets absorbed into food, which can contribute to weight gain, higher cholesterol, and higher blood pressure—all risk factors for type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Fatty Foods: Fatty foods can cause immediate side effects such as gas, bloating, acid reflux and heartburn, and long-term effects such as increased risk for heart disease. Unhealthy Carbs: Unhealthy carbohydrates causes the risk of chronic diseases and weight gain. Artificially Flavored Dairy: Studies suggest that the side effects of artificial flavorings range from nervous system depression, dizziness, chest pain, headaches, fatigue, allergies, brain damage, seizures, and nausea. Some of the more popular flavorings can also cause genetic defects, tumors and bladder cancer. Alcoholic Drinks: Alcohol intake will causes depression, liver damage, cancer and reduced sexual performance. Worst Foods For Brain That Can Limit The Development And Functioning

05:27
Worst Foods For Brain That Can Limit The Development And Functioning Worst foods for your brain: The brain is the driver of the body that regulates and supervises body functions like keeping the heart beats sane, lungs breathing and guiding other organs. If brain stops working or it is disrupted, it would have serious consequences on your daily life that is why one must always continue to do necessary chores for keeping brain fully functioned. Obviously, there are some food articles and diet that may affect the smooth functioning of the brain while increasing the risks of dementia and in order to avoid, one should quit such food and simply live healthily. Here is the detail of such foods that may interrupt the brain: Sugary Drinks The primary ingredient of most of the sugary drinks is fructose which has many negative effects on the body as well as on brain. It leads to obesity, type 2 diabetes and increases the risks of dementia. The high amount of sugar in such drinks can lead to severe consequences even for those who might have no diabetes at all. High sugary drinks make insulin less resistant to mind thus reduces brain functioning. Moreover, it can cause high blood pressure, arterial dysfunction and Alzheimer disease that in a way or another affect the brain, therefore, it is suggested to quit or at least avoid taking extra sugary drinks. Refined Carbs The extra carbohydrates intake along with white flour, sugary intakes and highly processed grains usually effect brain by altering the cognitive and thinking process. Medically speaking, these carbs include a high glycaemic index that boosts stomach to digest fast, alter the responsiveness to hunger an increased blood sugar and insulin levels. It can also cause dementia, reduction in intelligence and thinking process, problem-solving and decision making as said earlier owing to inflammation of hippocampus. Mild mental impairment is another disease that may be resulted due to increase in carbs intake which might exceed 58% of daily calories. Certain vegetables, white flour and some fruits can also pose some risks to health. Foods High in Trans Fats Generally, the trans fats are of two types i.e. natural and artificial. The natural trans fats are found in veterinary products like in milk, cheese and butter but they are not major risks while artificial fats industrially produced, can cause problems to health. These are also known as hydrogenated vegetable oils. These are used in cookies, baked cakes, frosting, snacks food and margarine. Some of the reputable scientific studies have found that extra intake of trans fats can cause cognitive decline, reduce the volume of brain and loss or poor memory conditions. In addition to it, people consuming artificial trans fats tend to have Alzheimer symptoms, compromises heart health and causes inflammation. Saturated fats are another dilemma for health that has links with trans fats leading to Alzheimer disease. The relative ratio of their use determines the magnitude but whatever it may be, these are not good for brain health. Highly Processed Food Every region of the globe has its own way of cooking and eating but the West is known for eating highly processed foods. The highly processed food damages the learning ability of the brain, impairs memory, causes inflammation and troubles brain blood relationship because of its composition i.e. sugar, fats and salts. These are found in chips, sweets, store-bought sauces, instant noodles, microwave popcorns and the foremost victims are children. These foods include high calories but very low nutrition that is why it affects the brain activity adversely than any other type of food. A study observing 243 people found that visceral fat is closely associated with brain tissue damage. Aspartame It is composed of aspartic acid, methanol and phenylalanine. Its ingredients are associated with cognitive or behavioural problems of adults. Phenylalanine may cut across the blood-brain barrier and cause disruption in production of neurotransmission. This is a stressor thus it can enhance the vulnerability of the brain to oxidative stress. People tend to use such products to reduce weight or to take less sugar when they suffer from diabetes. A study observing the issue and its effects on body found that human body can consume maximum 25 mg per kg of aspartame but as a result, they were depressed irritable and suffered from the mental disorder. Alcohol The moderate use of alcohol might be enjoyable for drinkers but extra consumption of alcohol has serious effects on brain and its Don't Forget To Follow Us On Other Social Media : YouTube : http://bit.ly/2e1vK3L Facebook : http://bit.ly/2kYKuD0 Twitter : http://bit.ly/2ksd98v Pinterest : http://bit.ly/2gh7g9U Instagram : http://bit.ly/2z2YbZN Daily Motion http://bit.ly/2z389dB Google Plus : http://bit.ly/2kqyrUa Tumblr : http://bit.ly/2xXbehS Subscribe our channel for more!

Natural treatment methods to restoring health are getting to be very popular day after day. That is largely arising from the failing of current medical research and development to meet up people's requirements. A variety of studies have been published showing the bad quality of health-care being given out by doctors. Sad to say the drug companies are the most to blame. They provide only medicine that can be patented in order to turn hefty profits. They also consider all natural home remedy methods to be risky and use their army of paid doctors to scare the people into thinking that pharmaceutical products are the only approach to obtain health. Traditional methods ( home remedies ) of treatment and nutrition are absolutely ignored for even the most basic of diseases. Fortunately the internet has created a great demand for information on just about all aspects of natural health. You can get widely available diet information to guide people make truly informed choices about what they are consuming. Additionally, many websites focus on only one problem and give them widespread information in order to resolve their complications as quickly and naturally as possible. Our goal's target is to point you in the exactly right direction for all of the available natural methods of treatment for a variety of common health conditions. There is hope and many of these diseases can be solved quickly by natural methods. Here are a few different ways that these natural methods works. The first is by changing your diet. By disposing of lots of the common problem "foods," just like sugar and hydrogenated oils, many great improvements can be watched. The next way is by using supplementation. The first way is by using vitamins. Yet somehow, often synthetic vitamins might not clear up a condition on their own except for there is a severe deficiency. Mineral supplements can also be often very helpful. All these supply essential minerals that are lacking across the board in western food. These can often be used for several different arthritis like conditions and then achieving a healthy heart. The last kind of supplement is herbs. Herbs have hundreds of years of history in being great health restoring supplements. The key here is gaining the proper kind of herbs for your problem from an adequate source, and making sure you are using enough of them to make a real difference. The majority of folks take too small of a quantity to make any sizeable health gains. TOP 10 FOODS CAUSING CANCER: Understanding What Causing Cancer

11:16
TOP 10 FOODS CAUSING CANCER : Understanding What Causing Cancer. 1. Hydrogenated Oils Hydrogenated oils, like vegetable oil, contain trans fats. The Mayo Clinic says it’s considered to be the worst type of fat there is. It’s known to cause cancer, heart disease, and immune system problems says Dr. David Brownstein of News Mac Health. In fact, there is no safe amount of trans fats in your diet, so avoiding this cancer causing food altogether would be advised. Even the FDA has made a preliminary determination to say trans fats are not generally regarded as safe, like previously thought. You can avoid hydrogenated oil but instead choosing coconut, palm, or olive oil. Organic butter is a better option as well. 2. French Fries/Potato Chips We know that these foods aren’t good for us, but did you realize that they’re considered cancer causing foods? These fast food staples are fried in hydrogenated vegetable oil and then heavily salted. We’ve already discussed the dangers of hydrogenated oils, but the high salt content is also concerning. It increases the risk of high blood pressure as well as other health problems. In addition, foods heated above a certain temperature have high levels of acrylamide. According to the National Cancer Institute, acrylamide is found in cigarette smoke and industrial building materials, as well some foods. Both french fries and potato chips were found to have higher levels of this chemical, which studies have shown increase the risk of cancer. Potatoes are also part of the Environmental Working Group’s “Dirty Dozen”, meaning they have some of the heaviest pesticide residue of all the fruits and vegetables. Is microwave popcorn putting you at risk for cancer? Cancer causing foods 3. Microwave Popcorn There is more than just kernels in most microwave popcorn. It contains PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) which is a likely carcinogen. Dr. Andrew Weil sets the record straight about microwave popcorn, explaining artificial butter contains another dangerous chemical that can damage the lungs when inhaled. In fact, a couple of years ago a Colorado court awarded a man a $7.2 million settlement for “popcorn lung”, which is a lung condition caused by inhaling too much microwave popcorn. To reduce your risk of exposure to these chemicals, air pop your popcorn and add your own flavoring instead. 4. Processed Meats Bacon, lunch meat, hot dogs, sausages, and other processed meats have been shown to be cancer causing foods, increasing the risk of pancreatic cancer by 67%, a study by the University of Hawaii concluded. More shocking statistics shared by the Organic Consumer’s Association reveal hot dogs commonly contain sodium nitrite, a cancer causing ingredient the USDA has been trying to ban since the 1970s. Leukemia risks soared a staggering 700% with hot dog consumption. Look for meats free of nitrites to help reduce your risk with these cancer causing foods. 5. Red Meat A brand new study confirms the belief that red meat increases cancer risks. In an article from the San Diego Union Tribune detailing the study, a sugar molecule, called Neu5Gc, becomes part of your own cells when it’s consumed. Your body then attacks it, resulting in inflammation and a higher cancer risk. Medscape reveals previous studies also show an increase in breast cancer among women who consumed more red meat. You don’t need to cut out red meat entirely. In fact, CNCA Health says just opt for grass fed organic beef, which contains conjugated linoleic acis that can actually fight against certain cancers. Also, keep red meat consumption to a minimum to further decrease your risk. 6. Farmed Salmon If you are avoiding processed meats and red meat, you might find yourself eating more salmon. Well, avoid the farmed version of this fish because a study at the University at Albany found it is often full of cancer causing contaminants such as pesticides, antibiotics, PCBs, and even flame retardants, making it, in our opinion, one of the cancer causing foods. Opt for the wild version instead to get the benefits of Omega-3 fatty acids that salmon provides, without contaminants. 7. Refined Sugar/Soda Refined sugar is a danger because not only is it typically GMO because it’s genetically modified sugar beets, but it rapidly spikes insulin levels. CNCA health warns this in turn, feeds cancer cells. Fructose, the type of sugar found in soda, is a serious cancer culprit as well. It contains caramel color, a known carcinogen. Soda acidifies the body, which in turn causes cancer cells to multiply. Skip the sodas altogether limited your intake of refined sugars.

A Doctor Requesting You To Stop Eating These 8 Foods That Can Increase Your Cancer Risk

03:52
The excess consumption of foods full of refined sugar and artificial fructose additives, for example high-fructose corn syrup induces the evolution of numerous health issues. These foods raise insulin levels and encourage cancer cell development. White Flour. Numerous processed foods nowadays are high in refined white bread, which is full of carbs, which negatively impact health, increase the blood glucose levels and increase the cancer threat. Various studies have shown that girls who consumed excessive amounts of carbs had an increased chance of breast cancer. Consequently, substitute elegant white flour with healthy alternatives such as whole- vanilla, wheat, quinoa, The regular consumption of pickled and smoked foods hastens health, since the smoking procedure of smoked meats leaves many toxic ingredients from the meat, whereas pickled foods are high in nitrates that are converted into N-nitroso, a component that increases the cancer threat. Plus, these foods are plentiful in preservatives that ensure a longer shelf life and result in cellular damage and cancer growth. Hence, we recommend avoiding them entirely. Processed meats such as ham, ham, and bacon, are abundant in harmful salt and preservatives. Scientists have discovered that the extra intake of processed meat may cause colorectal cancer. The excessive consumption of red meat increases the odds of developing esophageal and prostate cancer also. Thus, ensure that you consume grass-fed meat just. Farmed Salmon. Farmed and wild salmon are just two types with enormous gaps, as the latter provides many health benefits, while the very first poses severe health risks. The use of farmed salmon may, in reality, trigger cancer. Scientists have discovered that farmed salmon contain significantly higher amounts of damaging compounds and cancer-promoting ingredients, such as mercury, dioxins, toxaphene, fire retardants, and polychlorinated biphenyls. Hydrogenated Oils. Hydrogenated oils have been converted to toxins when processed and fabricated. These oils are in fact chemically extracted from vegetables to be able to maintain and extend the shelf life of processed foods. Yet, they're high in polyunsaturated fats and omega--6 fatty acids. Potato Chips. Potato chips are created in very significant temperatures, which leads to the introduction of acrylamide, a favorite carcinogen. Potato chips can also be full of fats and calories that increase the blood pressure and cholesterol levels and cause obesity. Microwave Popcorn. Microwave popcorn bags feature a very toxic chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid, that has been proven to boost the risk of bladder and kidney cancer and result in an impaired fertility in girls. These products are also full of numerous GMO goods and additives, for example propyl gallate. The low quality of the food will make your body have something damaged, and it won’t work properly. Consumption of large amounts of sodium is the key reason for poor health and serious problems. Because of this, you need to avoid these 16 foods and keep your health on point . Table salt: in case you are consuming more salt from that it is necessary, you will have problem with your vision and circulations. When you have a problem with the circulation your heart, kidneys and brain are in danger. Fast food French fries: when you are consuming French fries, you are putting your health on a risk. Pop: a lot of studies showed that sugar is found in sodas and similar products. These drinks will cause hypertension. Liquor: a lot of studies showed that consuming alcohol will decrease the blood supply levels. Red meat: this ingredient will increase the risk of making health problems and impair the veins function. Processed meat: Many health problems for the heart arrive from meat products such as bologna, wieners, bacon, frankfurter and other pre-prepared meats. To avoid hypertension and keep your heart health on point, steer clear from processed meats and try consuming low-salt meat such as chicken, turkey bosom or incline hamburger. Pickles: we know that they are very low in calories, but they are high in sodium. This is something which we may say it is made of sodium. Sugar: sugar is not used at all, especially the ne which is processed. Doughnuts: these are very delicious, but they are full with calories which will make a damage on our organism. Margarine: it is used in everyday cooking, but it is so bad and unhealthy which everyone can see it. Canned Chicken Noodle Soup: Chickens are very bad, especially in the soups. No matter that is the easiest and the fastest meal, it is not healthy and it is not good. Canned biscuits are quite changed before becoming what we see in the stores. This means that they are full of processed substances and seasoned excessively. Check up the names of the ingredients on the label when buying biscuits and make sure they do not contain any hydrogenated oils. Also, keep in mind the sodium content. Ramen noodles: This is shockingly but one bundle of ramen noodles has 14 g fat and 1580 mg sodium. Accommodation foods like frozen pot pies: One sweet pie contains around 1300-1400mg of sodium and around 35 g of fat. This is far beyond the allowed daily limit. So, steer clear of these seemingly healthy desserts for good. Pizza: No matter it is the best meal ever and everyone are in a mood to eat pizza, it is very unhealthy and you need to take care of you. In addition we are going to present you the ingredients which are going to lower your blood cholesterol. Natural products we recommend for reducing hypertension are, beans, peas, veggies, grain oats, rice, pasta, and breads. You also need to eat sweet potatoes (squashed or prepared), spinach, lima beans, bananas, oranges (and squeezed orange!), and tomatoes.

Foods high in saturated or trans fats, salt, sugar, and processed carbohydrates are best avoided for good health. Diet is very important to maintain normal blood pressure. Many dietary factors adversely affect blood pressure. Why Keto (The Ketogenic Diet) Is Considered Dangerous

Dr. Berg's New Book on How to do Healthy Ketosis: https://shop.drberg.com/drbergs-new-body-type-guide Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Dr. Berg talks about why keto (ketosis, the ketogenic diet) is considered dangerous and has gotten a bad rap because it increases your risk for diabetes, metabolic syndrome, spiking your blood sugars and making you fat. There were over 650 publications stating that a high fat diet increases your risk for all sorts of health problems. However, if you evaluate this HIGH FAT DIET they fed rats, you will find it is really a high fat, high carb diet, which IF you combine high fats with high sugar, you can increases your risk for blood sugar problems, high cholesterol, diabetes and lots of other problems. Traditional ketogenic diets used for kids can spike your risk for kidney stones because of the drop in pH making the body very acid (from ketones). However, traditional ketogenic diets involved low quality fats (margarine, soy oil, hydrogenated soy oil, lard, corn oil and even corn sugar and maltodextrin (not to mention synthetic vitamins). These are not healthy ingredients and the lack of vegetables will create all sorts of long term vitamin and mineral deficiencies. So critics will use Traditional Ketosis and their studies to explain why the ketogenic diet is unhealthy and is not good long term. This is why we recommend a healthy version of ketosis -combining low carbs with healthy foods. I like to ask critical people of keto and intermittent fasting what would they recommend as a healthy diet - and this is where conversation ends fast, because they do not have one and don't want to talk about that. 🍗 #1 Food For Lowering Blood Sugar, Preventing & Reversing Diabetes

05:35
How my uncle naturally lowered his blood sugar, lost 34lbs and reversed his diabetes: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerBloodSugarNow Or go and watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1w65TPrd88 =============================================== 🍗 #1 Food For Lowering Blood Sugar, Preventing & Reversing Diabetes =============================================== Now, I mention all of this because a lot of people think that you need to have a low carbohydrate diet, or eat lots of protein, no fats and so forth when it comes to managing your blood sugar. Unfortunately, this is partly true and sadly, most of the information is completely misguided and wrong. WIth that said, let’s get right to the point and discuss today’s topic - the #1 food you should be eating with ALL of your meals, to help reduce your blood sugar, prevent and even reverse diabetes. So let’s get started: What you need to do is eat some FAT with all of your meals. However, the problem here is that people are either Eating NO fats, because they’ve been misled and brainwashed thinking it’s bad for them and it’ll make them fat. They eat the WRONG types of fats and thus, it’s making things worse and is actually the CAUSE for getting them fat and making them diabetic. So let’s discuss both of these quickly. Problem 1 - Eating NO Fats If you don’t have some fat with your meals, the carbohydrates you eat will quickly shoot up your blood sugar and thus, your insulin levels. This is NOT what you want because over time, your insulin receptors become “insensitive” and thus, your body needs to produce even MORE insulin to get the same “blood sugar lowering” effects and you eventually become diabetic. The benefit is that if you eat some healthy fats with all of your meals, you will quickly BLUNT the blood sugar spikes. This is because fat slows digestion. Thus, you’ll lower the glycemic index and load of the meal. The end result is lower blood sugar after your meals better energy levels and healthier insulin receptors Problem 2 - Eating The WRONG Fats The second problem is those who do eat fats with their meals, they eat the WRONG types of fats. So in the movie “Forks over Knives”, Dr. Greger1 states that “fat makes you insulin resistant”. This is based on studies performed in the 1930s where a group of participants ate a “fat-rich diet… in vegetable oils, butter, mayonnaise, and cream.” I’m not going to get into all the details. However, I mention this because these are NOT healthy fats. These are crappy fats. These are manmade fats. They’re fake. Not natural. These fats are treated, heated, hydrogenated and are trans-fats. YES, these fats are bad for you and will cause diabetes, in addition to dozens of other diseases and health problems. What you want to eat is some healthy fats: Raw nuts and seeds (hemp, flax, etc.) Avocados Coconut oil Extra virgin Macadamia nut and Olive oil Omega and fish oils Don’t heat your oils because it changes the structure of the molecule. And if you’re going to cook, stick with Coconut oil and macadamia nut oil. Also, fats create and improve your hormones, which is the KEY to a healthier body. By the way, you don’t need much fat with your meals. Eat between 20%-30% of your total calories from healthy fats. ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. What is Trans Fat? Is Trans Fat Bad for You?

02:53
What is Trans Fat? Is Trans Fat Bad for You? Trans fats are banned at last. But they are still in our foods, so beware! Recently, the FDA issued a ban on all trans fats, deeming them unsafe for human consumption, and it’s about time! For more than 20 years, the science has shown these fake FrankenFats to be hazardous to our health. Thankfully, the government has finally caught on. Trans fat was invented for use in margarine and shortening. But do you know why they call it shortening? Because it shortens your life! It was supposed to be a better butter, but in fact, it’s worse. Did you know that if you put butter and margarine side by side, flies will land on the butter but they won’t land on the margarine? It’s just too toxic for them. The trans fat it’s made from is an oddly shaped fat that: - Slows your metabolism - Causes weight gain - Increases inflammation - Lowers your good cholesterol - Raises your bad cholesterol - Causes diabetes, obesity, heart attacks, strokes, dementia, cancer, and inflammation. Trans fats, or trans-unsaturated fatty acids, trans fatty acids, are a type of unsaturated fats that are uncommon in nature but became commonly produced industrially from vegetable fats for use in margarine, snack food, packaged baked goods and frying fast food starting in the 1950s. Trans fat has been shown to consistently be associated, in an intake-dependent way, with risk of coronary heart disease, the worldwide leading cause of death. Top 10 Cancer Causing Foods You Probably Eat Every Day

09:37
Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Many cancers can be prevented by not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight, not drinking too much alcohol, eating plenty of vegetables, fruits and whole grains and by avoiding many cancer causing foods you probably eat every day. Canned Tomatoes - Canned Tomatoes are not good for your health because the cans which is used to pack tomatoes are lined with a product called bisphenol A, BPA, an endocrine disruptor that may mimic or disrupt hormones and increase the risks for breast cancer, prostate cancer, early puberty, metabolic disorders, infertility, and several other problems. Microwave popcorn - Microwave popcorn is one of the most popular snacks in many parts of the world. But there are two safety issues involving the chemicals added into many brands of microwave popcorn. The first stems from the use of diacetyl in artificial butter flavor. Diacetyl appears to damage lungs when it is repeatedly inhaled in vaporized form. The other issue is with the lining of popcorn bags. Genetically modified foods- GMOs are grown using harmful chemicals and, when consumed, can lead to immune system, brain and liver damage. After GMO’s were introduced in 1996, GM vegetables fed to rats caused development of horrifying tumors. Soda Pop - Sodas are loaded with sugar and an empty source of calories that cause weight gain and contribute to the nationwide epidemic of obesity. Drinking large amounts of this rapidly digested sugar causes your blood sugar to spike which can lead to both inflammation and insulin resistance. Hydrogenated oils - Hydrogenated oils are vegetable oils, which cannot be naturally extracted like olive oil, soy or canola oil, they are chemically extracted from vegetables and is again chemically treated to change the smell and taste. This process turns unsaturated fat into a stable solid fat, resulting in trans fatty hydrogenated oil which is considered to be the worst type of fat and is known to cause cancer, heart disease, and immune system problems. Refined sugar and artificial sweeteners - Refined sugar, artificial sweeteners and fructose-rich sweeteners like high-fructose corn syrup are detrimental for your health. These products tend to rapidly spike insulin levels and feed the growth of cancer cells. Farmed salmon - Farmed salmon is nowhere near as healthy as wild salmon, and eating farmed salmon puts you at a higher risk of developing cancer. Farm-raised fish are fed unnatural diets and contaminated with chemicals, antibiotics, pesticides and other known carcinogens found in materials like asbestos. Processed meats or red meat - Processed meats such as ham, sausage and bacon have chemicals and preservatives like sodium nitrates, which make them bad for your health. In addition, processed meat contains excessive salt, which is also not good for you. In a 2008 study published in the Nutrition and Cancer journal, researchers found that processed meat intake might be involved in the etiology of colorectal cancer. Pickled and smoked foods - Pickled and smoked foods are delicious but, at the same time, very harmful to the body. In fact, smoked meats that pick up tar from the smoking process cause extreme harm to your body. Plus, most pickled foods contain nitrates that turn into N-nitroso, which increases your risk of cancer. Alcohol - Drinking too much alcohol is not good for your health and can put you at certain types of developing cancer risks. Regularly drinking a large glass of wine a day can increase the risk of mouth, upper throat, oesophageal also known as food pipe, breast and bowel cancers. When you drink alcohol, it is converted into a toxic chemical called acetaldehyde in your body. This can damage your DNA and stop your cells from repairing that damage, which can lead to various types of cancer.

High blood pressure diet: Avoid eating the skin on this meat to lower risk of hypertension

07:01
High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, affects more than one in four adults in the UK.Certain foods you eat can affect high blood pressure, such as those that contain high levels of salt.Blood Pressure UK states eating too much salt is the biggest cause of high blood pressure and an adults should eat no more than 6g of salt a day. Most of the salt we eat every day is hidden’ which means it’s already in processed foods like bread, biscuits and breakfast cereals, and prepared ready meals or takeaways, and frozen pizzas are another surprising food people with high blood pressure should avoid.According to the charity, this hidden salt accounts for around 75 per cent of the salt we eat - only 25 per cent comes from the salt we add while cooking or at the table. Nutritionists at Healthline recommend people with hypertension to reduce their saturated fats intake and avoid tans fats (a type of unsaturated fat).Foods that are high in saturated fat include chicken skin, full-fat dairy, red meat and butter. The site explains: “Trans fats are found naturally ins mall amounts of fate meats and dairy products. However, the biggest contributor of trans fats is packaged and prepared foods, which also typically contain high amounts of sugar and other low-fibre carbohydrates.“Trans fats are created in a process called hydrogenation, where liquid oils are infused with air to make a solid oil. Hydrogenated oils increase packaged foods’ shelf life and stability.”Research shows that heart health worsens when fats are substituted for processed carbohydrates and sugar. Natural ways to lower blood pressure Tue, January 2, 2018 Blood pressure: How to lower your blood pressure naturally. Play slideshow Natural ways to lower blood pressure The site adds: “Consuming too many saturated and trans fats increase your low-density lipoproteins (LDL), or bad cholesterol. High LDL levels may make your hypertension worse, and may eventually lead to the development of coronary heart disease.“To moderate these risks, don’t increase your sugar intake.”It is also recommended to replace animal, saturated, and trans fats with plant fats, such as nuts, seeds, olive oil and avocado.Another food that should be avoided if you have hypertension is frozen pizza.Healthline explains: “All pizzas can be bad for people watching their sodium intake. The combination of cheese, cured meats, tomato sauce, and crust adds up to a lot of sodium. But frozen pizza is especially dangerous for people with hypertension.“To maintain flavour in the pizza once it’s been cooked, manufacturers often add a lot of salt. One serving of a frozen cheese or meat-and-cheese pizza can contain as much as 982 mg of sodium, sometimes even more. The thicker the crust and the most toppings you have, the higher your sodium number will climb.”A study presented at an American Heart Association meeting suggested eating well-done meat is linked to high blood pressure.Scientists looked at participants who ate at lea

7 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid

16:27
Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance that’s found in all cells of the body. Our bodies need cholesterol to make hormones that protect the body, vitamin D and bile salts that are necessary for the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Plus, the brain and nervous system depend on cholesterol for the creation of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. Our bodies make the cholesterol that we need, but we get cholesterol from our food too. If you have too much cholesterol, it starts to build up in your arteries and may lead to atherosclerosis, or the hardening of the arteries. Here is a list of 10 foods to avoid if you have a Cholesterol. 01:02 Macaroni And Cheese. 02:05 Egg Yolks. 03:09 Red Meats. 04:07 Milk and Other Conventional Dairy Products. 05:06 ice cream. 06:03 Canola Oil and Other Processed Vegetable Oils. 07:02 Cookies and Other Sugary Treats. 08:01 Bacon and Other Processed Meats. 09:08 Processed Meats. 10:01 Potato Chips and Other Packaged Foods. Macaroni and cheese are necessary to limit among the foods high in cholesterol to avoid. We all know that the main macaroni and cheese ingredients include cheese, butter, and whole milk. Many types of cheese are rich in cholesterol with about from 7 to 11% daily value for cholesterol per ounce. One of the most common foods high in cholesterol to avoid is egg yolks. We know that eggs are always a good choice for breakfast as it contains a lot of nutrients that is necessary for the body. But they are also rich in cholesterol that is not good for the people with heart disease and high cholesterol levels. Red meats are a good food for the health in general. But for the people with high cholesterol levels, they are the foods high in cholesterol to avoid. These meats like pork, lamb, and beef often have more saturated fat and cholesterol than other meats. Milk fat contains a broad range of fatty acids, and some have a negative impact on cholesterol-rich lipoproteins. The saturated fatty acids, such as lauric acid and myristic acid, increase total plasma cholesterol, especially LDL. In a cup of rich chocolate ice-cream, there are 15.36 grams of saturated fat which makes up almost a full day’s supply. This means once you consume one cup of rich chocolate ice cream, other sources of saturated fat such as meat, cheese, milk and other animal products should be avoided. When canola oil undergoes hydrogenation, which it often does to become a partially hydrogenated oil, this increases its level of trans fats. These are a group of fats that you want to avoid as much as possible since they’re scientifically known to increase LDL cholesterol and lower HDL cholesterol levels. Dietary sugars serve as the cause of obesity, several chronic diseases and a range of cardiometabolic risk factors. Today in the U.S., over 75 percent of packaged and processed foods contain some form of added sugar. Recent studies have shown that processed meats are associated with increased cardiovascular disease and stroke mortality. Evidence suggests that processed meat consumption increases the risk of heart health issues, while unprocessed meat consumption has a small or no association with cardiovascular disease. The processed meats like bacon, sausages, ham, beef sticks are high in cholesterol. These foods are very common and eaten with bread and hamburger. They are considered as a good choice for the busy people. But you should avoid these foods. Extensive research evaluates the rise in snacking, snack foods and ultra-processed foods in the American diet. Some studies show that 66 percent of calories consumed by U.S. citizens comes from packaged foods and beverages. ❤️ 3 Clinically Proven Ways To Unclog & Clean Your Arteries, Naturally

06:12
How I naturally improved my dad’s blood flow in only 30 days and avoided the #1 cause of a heart attack or stroke. 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/IncreaseBloodFlow Or go and watch this video series to help improve your blood flow to extremities: http://drsam.co/yt/SeePart1 =============================================== ❤️ 3 Clinically Proven Ways To Unclog & Clean Your Arteries, Naturally =============================================== I received a question from Kimberly and she asked: “I have plaque buildup in my arteries. How can I “unclog” and clean my arteries, naturally? I heard this can’t be done unless I have surgery or take really harmful drugs. You always seem to know a natural way to heal the body, anything for this?” Prevent & Unclog So the first thing we must do is PREVENT future plaque build up and then, we can work on removing the current buildup. Now, this can take 6-12 months or longer, depending on your current situation. However, at end of today’s video I’ll reveal a proven formula that can speed up this process. By the way, this is a very important topic because plaque buildup reduces blood flow and circulation, which can cause a heart attack or stroke obviously. However, it also causes things like - Headaches - Fatigue - impotence/erectile problems - numbness to your extremities (hands and feet) - high blood pressure - inflammation - and a host of other health problems. How To Prevent Future Buildup There’s no point in trying to clean your arteries, if you keep clogging it up daily. So, here are 3 simple tips in preventing future plaque build up… while at the same time, helps UNCLOG current plaque. 1 -- Eat a heart-healthy diet Diet can play a big role in improving your heart health and reducing your risk for a buildup of plaque. It’s never too late to eat a healthier diet. Which when combined with the unhealthy fats, clogs your arteries. 2 -- Exercise First, we all need to move more. All we tend to do is sit all day long -- computer, phone, driving, eating, work, etc. The reason exercise is important is because it helps improve your youth hormones, which then helps your body naturally get rid of toxins - this includes plaque. 3 -- Take Specific Supplements Taking specific herbs, vitamins and minerals that are clinically proven to help improve blood flow and circulation, will give you the biggest and fastest improvements in preventing AND removing plaque buildup. ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. How to Overcome Adrenal Fatigue

06:58
For more info: https://draxe.com/3-steps-to-heal-adrenal-fatigue/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Nov-2014&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=adrenalfatigue In this video, I’m going to walk you through the steps to overcome adrenal fatigue. Most fatigue problems and adrenal insufficiency come from issues with the adrenal glands. About 80% of the population deals with this common problem. There are several warning signs that indicate you may have adrenal fatigue. If you struggle with fatigue, are stressed, anxious, have trouble with concentration, poor memory, thyroid issues, or gained mysterious weight, you may have adrenal fatigue. There are three steps you will want to take to get rid of adrenal fatigue for good. The first starts with your diet. Foods to get out of your diet are caffeine, sugar, and hydrogenated oils. Foods that are high in vitamin B12 and magnesium are going to support your adrenal glands and blood sugar levels, so you will want to add these foods into your diet. Foods like coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut, olives, olive oil, raw dairy products, grass-fed butter, organic meats, loads of vegetables, and seaweed are all crucial to your diet as well. Secondly, you will want to support your adrenals by taking supplements like adaptogenic herbs (such as ashwagandha, holy basil, and licorice root), which will help your body adapt and deal with stress. Additionally, a vitamin B complex, magnesium, vitamin D, selenium will support the healing of your adrenals. Lastly, you should focus on lowering your stress levels. Try getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night, reflect and address your stressors, add fun activities into your routine, and exercise. If you follow these three steps, you will be well on your way to naturally healing adrenal fatigue. The Trans Fat that's actually good for you! CLA!

08:26
Trans fats are in the news as health hazards because they increase risk of heart disease and diabetes. However, a naturally-occurring trans fatty acid, called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), is linked to diverse health benefits! Read about CLA (and where to get it): https://www.thepaleomom.com/conjugated-linoleic-acid-cla-a-rockstar-nutrient/ Read about trans fats in general: https://www.thepaleomom.com/trans-fats-what-are-they-and-why-are-they-bad/ Man-made trans fats (like hydrogenated oils) are so harmful to our health that, in 2015, the FDA enforced a decision to phase out food companies’ use of trans-fat-rich oils altogether. The naturally-occurring trans fats produced by ruminants (like cows and sheep) have a slightly different chemical structure than industrial trans fats, and as a result, behave differently in the human body. In fact, CLA reduces risk of cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity! Yes, that's enough to earn this particular trans fat status as a rockstar nutrient! Also referenced in this video is the link between meat consumption and disease (a nuanced topic and one in which dietary context is very important): https://www.thepaleomom.com/the-link-between-meat-and-cancer/

What Foods Lower Blood Pressure

01:39
More info @: http://ad.trwv.net/t.pl/89071/377594 What is cholesterol? Cholesterol is made by the liver, but also found in fatty foods. There are two types of cholesterol: HDL or "good" cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins) and LDL or "bad" cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins (or LDL). If LDL cholesterol is high it gets deposited on the walls of your arteries, forming a plaque that clogs your blood vessels and stops your blood flowing properly. Eventually the plaque hardens your arteries, a condition called atherosclerosis. HDL cholesterol removes LDL cholesterol from the arteries and the body, via the liver. Statin drug side effects Common statin side effects include: • Headaches • Difficulty sleeping • Skin flushes • Muscle pain, aches, tenderness, or weakness (myalgia) • Drowsiness • Dizziness • Nausea or vomiting • Stomach cramps or pain • Bloating or gas • Diarrhoea • Constipation • Rashes Reduce your cholesterol intake You can immediately improve your diet and cut down on foods that are high in cholesterol, saturated fat, and trans fats. Use olive oil instead of butter or blocks of margarine. Yoghurt instead of cream. Steam or grill instead of frying. Use low fat milk and cheeses. Try fish and tofu instead of red meat. Avoid fried and fatty foods like chips, bacon, burgers and commercial cakes and biscuits made of hydrogenated fats. Avoid crisps and nuts if you're snacking and replace them with dried fruit or pretzels. Eat more fruit and vegetables, especially raw. What is red rice yeast? Red rice yeast (Monascus purpureus) is a food supplement made of a red coloured yeast grown on rice, that is used extensively in Chinese cooking to make such classics as Peking Duck and Char Siu. That is where they get their characteristic red colour from. Red rice yeast contains many natural compounds including a group of fourteen monacolins. One of them, monacolin K, is what the statin drug lovastatin is made from. How much should I take? An overview of multiple studies by Katan et al, 2003, showed that doses above 2000 mg total per day are unnecessary. They also showed that plant sterols and stanols work best when combined with an unsaturated fat diet. Try taking 400 mg capsules 3 times a day (a total of 1200 mg), in combination with an improved diet, to help your LDL levels return to normal without experiencing side effects. If they are very high you could take 5 capsules a day (5 x 400 mg = 2000 mg) for the first week or two, but then lower the amount again, especially if you have been intolerant to statins previously. Choosing the right red rice yeast It is possible to buy red rice yeast on its own. This is the cheapest way but there are some things to take into consideration. Red rice yeast capsules made in the USA does not contain monacolin K. This is because the FDA regulations require it to be removed to avoid people who are taking it with statin drugs receiving too high a level. So it is 'weaker' than red rice yeast produced in the European Union where this is not required. What Foods Lower Blood Pressure: http://ad.trwv.net/t.pl/89071/377594

I have worked with thousands of patients and helped lay out natural treatments to help people overcome this condition, and I know you can overcome it, too. 4 Steps to Treat IBS: 1) What foods to stay away from if you have IBS: • Gluten - This inflammatory protein in grain can cause IBS. I suggest at the start of treatment to stay away from ALL grain products (especially wheat). After about 3-9 months, you can start adding in some sprouted or sourdough grains. • Casein or conventional dairy products - Kefir or fermented dairy can be helpful, but regular dairy can be very destructive for IBS. • Hydrogenated Oils • Raw foods - salads and raw foods can damage the gut if you have IBS, so it’s best to eat only cooked foods. • Cold foods - Ice water, Ice cream and cold foods are hard on the digestive system • Processed or refined/packaged foods 2) Top healing foods for IBS (consume foods that nourish the colon and spleen) • White immune-boosting foods ⁃ Cauliflower, Garlic and Onions - Cooked onions and garlic can kill off bad bacteria in the gut. • Squashes ⁃ Butternut, Acorn and Spaghetti Squashes are nourishing to the spleen and colon • Bone Broth- #1 superfood to consume to heal IBS ⁃ Bone Broth soup contains amino acid to help repair and heal the intestinal lining. ⁃ A perfect meal would be a crockpot with organic meat, bones/broth, and vegetables such as squash and celery. 3) Quality Supplements • Live Probiotic Supplements • L-Glutamin - amino acid that protects and nourishes the gut lining • Frankincense Essential Oil - reduces inflammation • Digestive Enzymes - take at meal to help break down food so it is easier to digest 4) Focus on reducing stress • Schedule 3 things daily ⁃ Long walk in nature ⁃ Read a spiritual growth book, meditate or pray ⁃ Wind down with a detox bath at night ⁃ 1 cup epsom salt and 20 drops oil (Lavendar) and soak away If you want more natural treatments for IBS check out: http://draxe.com/ibs-diet-food-cures/ *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. It comes in the form of processed foods and sugary drinks. Sugar in the form of carbonated sodas not only increases your sugar consumption but also causes you to become bloated. Finally, sugar converts to FAT and causes OBESITY. You have to watch your Sugar intake! Forms Sugar Takes Cakes, cookies, pasta, bread, ice cream, in your morning coffee or breakfast cereals. It is even in your fat free dressing, marinates, tomato sauce in fact it is most foods today. Most process foods contain sugar. Salt Can cause hypertension. Hypertension can cause heart and kidney problems and can damage blood vessel that can lead to strokes. The body needs salt, but too much salt can be bad for your health. Do you need to salt to add flavor to your meals? No not really because the desire for salt in food is an acquired taste. Salt is everywhere, in cookies, waffles, chicken breast, granola bars, syrup, wheat bread, pita bread, salad dressing, cottage cheese. Fat Not all fats are BAD! Polyunsaturated Fat and Monounsaturated Fat can help lower LDL cholesterol. The BAD FAT! Processed fats are created by hydrogenation ( a process that turns unsaturated fatty acids to become partially saturated). These fats can raise the risk of heart trouble. Good Fats= Monounsaturated examples are: Canola Oil, Olive Oil, Olives, Avocado, Polyunsaturated= vegetable oil, wheat germ, oily fish and fish oils Bad Fats= Saturated Fats examples: Fatty meats, chicken skin, butter, cream cheese, Trans Fats= Biscuits, pastries, doughnuts, cakes Saturated FAT will make you FAT!! Regulating your intake of trans-fatty acids: The American Heart Association's Nutrition Committee strongly advises that healthy Americans over age 2 limit their intake of trans fat to less than 1 percent of total calories.Based on current data, the American Heart Association recommends that consumers follow these tips: 1. Choose a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole-grain, high-fiber foods, and fat-free and low-fat dairy most often. 2. Keep total fat intake between 25 and 35 percent of calories, with most fats coming from sources of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats such as fish, nuts, seeds and vegetable oils most often. 3. Use naturally occurring, unhydrogenated vegetable oils such as canola, safflower, sunflower or olive oil most often. 4. Look for processed foods made with unhydrogenated oil rather than partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated vegetable oils or saturated fat. 5. Use soft margarine as a substitute for butter, and choose soft margarines (liquid or tub varieties) over harder stick forms. Look for "0 g trans fat" on the Nutrition Facts label. 6. French fries, doughnuts, cookies, crackers, muffins, pies and cakes are examples of foods that are high in trans fat. Don't eat them often. 7. Limit the saturated fat in your diet. If you don't eat a lot of saturated fat, you won't be consuming a lot of trans fat. 8. Limit commercially fried foods and baked goods made with shortening or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils. Not only are these foods very high in fat, but that fat is also likely to be very hydrogenated, meaning a lot of trans fat. 9. Limited fried fast food. Commercial shortening and deep-frying fats will continue to be made by hydrogenation and will contain saturated fat and trans fat. Thanks for watching!! Foods That Protect Your Liver Healthy The liver is one of the body's internal organs. This liver stores the energy glycogen that stores the body's energy, cleanses the blood and cleanses the blood, cleanses the protein from the nutritious foods, and removes various toxins in the body. Keeping the liver clean and maintaining the health of the body is so important. Even though this movement begins to decline, you may face various health problems. Hence, stop smoking and protecting the liver's health and taking some food to remove toxins that are joined by the liver. This can cause the toxins to reach the liver at small intervals. Garlic: - Garlic contains essential ingredients to clean the liver like selenium and allisin. So, if you add it to daily meals, you can eliminate the toxins in the liver. Beetroot: - Antioxidants are rich in beetroot. Thus the cells in the liver are healthy. If you consume it, the blood red blood cells will also increase. Apple: - Fiber rich in apples is rich. Thus digestion is well-maintained, leaving uninterrupted waste and toxins. So eat the apple everyday and eat it daily. Green leaf vegetables Green leafy vegetables such as broccoli and spinach are also occasionally eaten. The liver is healthy. Onion: - Onions are rich in fiber, potassium, flavonoids and phytonutrients. That's why we eat onions in everyday cooking Trans Fats Trans fat-loaded foods, or foods containing partially hydrogenated oils, are far from a thing of the past, still showing up in processed foods everywhere, like store-bought frosting. Even small amounts of trans fats increase bad cholesterol...fast! In fact, all the extra LDLs from trans fasts get dumped into our liver, increasing the risk of disease. Read your labels! Don't be surprised if you see trans fats in any of these foods: Store-bought Frosting Crackers, Cookies & Biscuits Salad Dressings Microwave Popcorn Fried Foods We all know fried foods, particularly those from fast food restaurants, have a negative effect on our liver, but it turns out eating French fries, extra crispy chicken or deep fried cheese-filled wontons actually have an effect on our liver that's very similar to hepatitis. Eating fried foods has also been shown to elevate bad cholesterol and lower good cholesterol. Watch out for these fried foods: French Fries Fried, Breaded Sandwiches Mozzarella Sticks, and Fried Appetizers Doughnuts Excess Fruit Foods that contain high amounts of fruit sugar, or fructose, like raisins and juices may be tasty and made by Mother Nature herself, but doesn't do your liver any favors. Fructose simply doesn't breakdown in your body the same way other forms of sugar do. In fact, too much fructose can cause dyslipidemia, or abnormal amounts of fat in the blood. According to 2013 study published in Hepatology, fructose is closely tied to fatty liver and inflammation. Small amounts of fruit are good to eat, but too much can cause a problem. Try not to go overboard with these: Raisins Juices Trail Mix Agave Nectar & Honey Get more active. Exercise, paired with diet, can help you lose extra weight and manage your liver disease. Aim to get at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise on most days of the week. Lower cholesterol. Watch your saturated fat and sugar intake to help keep your cholesterol and triglyceride levels under control. If diet and exercise aren’t enough to lower your cholesterol, ask your doctor about taking medication. Control diabetes. Diabetes and fatty liver disease often occur together. Diet and exercise can help you manage both conditions. If your blood sugar is still high, your doctor can prescribe medication to lower it. If you think citrus fruits have the most vitamin C of any fruit or vegetable, think again. Ounce for ounce, red bell peppers contain twice as much vitamin C as citrus. They’re also a rich source of beta carotene. Besides boosting your immune system, vitamin C may help maintain healthy skin. Beta carotene helps keep your eyes and skin healthy. Garlic is found in almost every cuisine in the world. It adds a little zing to food and it's a must-have for your health. Early civilizations recognized its value in fighting infections. According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, garlic may also help lower blood pressure and slow down hardening of the arteries. Garlic’s immune-boosting properties seem to come from a heavy concentration of sulfur-containing compounds, such as allicin. Almonds When it comes to preventing and fighting off colds, vitamin E tends to take a backseat to vitamin C. However, vitamin E is key to a healthy immune system. h as almonds, are packed with the vitamin and also have healthy fats. A half-cup serving, which is about 46 whole, shelled almonds, provides nearly 100 percent of the recommended daily amount of vitamin E.
9 Foods and Drinks to Avoid For Diabetics - Part 2

6. Fatty Cuts of Meat You'll want to avoid high-fat cuts of meat for the same reason as whole-milk dairy - they're high in saturated fats. Saturated fats in meat raise cholesterol and promote inflammation throughout the body, and can also put people with diabetes at even greater risk for heart disease than the average person. Choose lean proteins, including skinless chicken and turkey, fish and shellfish, and lean beef. 7. Packaged Snacks and Baked Goods Aside from all the sugar, junky white flour, sodium, and preservatives they contain, packaged snacks and baked goods - like chips, pretzels, crackers, cookies, doughnuts, and snack cakes. Trans fats increase your “bad” (LDL) cholesterol, lower your “good” (HDL) cholesterol, and raise your risk of heart disease. They're also even more dangerous than saturated fats, especially for people who have type 2 diabetes. In fact, no amount of trans fats is deemed safe for you to incorporate into your diet. 8. Alcohol Before you go for a predinner cocktail, or even a glass of wine with dinner, check with your doctor to make sure that it's safe for you to drink alcohol, since it can interfere with your blood-sugar levels. If you do drink, keep it in moderation. “Moderation” is generally defined as no more than one serving per day if you’re a woman, and no more than two if you’re a man. A typical serving is measured as 5 ounces (oz) of wine, 12 oz of beer, or 1.5 oz of distilled liquor. 9. Fried Foods You may have a weakness for french fries, fried chicken, potato chips, fried dough, and the like, but kicking this craving will be better for your health in the long run. Fried foods typically soak up tons of oil, which equates to lots of extra calories and many are coated in breading first, jacking up the numbers even more. Overdoing the greasy stuff can pack on the pounds and cause blood-sugar chaos. To add insult to injury, some foods are deep-fried in hydrogenated oils that are laden with unhealthy trans fats. 9 Foods and Drinks to Avoid For Diabetics - Part 1 video: https://youtu.be/UKl7VB-V2DY

Top 10 Foods that Cause Inflammation

04:28
1. Dairy, 2. Gluten, 3. Sugar/High Fructose Corn Syrup/Sweetened Beverages, 4. Trans Fats, 5. Animal Fats... Hello, I'm Dr. Fritz Sutter. Let's discuss the top ten foods that can be associated with, and promote inflammation. Number one is dairy - in the nature of milk is food for the very young, not adults. Cow's milk contains growth factors that are intended to grow baby cows, not humans. With the exception of some populations in Northern Europe and few African tribes, most adults do not digest dairy well. Regular consumption of dairy can promote irritable bowel syndrome, exacerbation of asthma, other respiratory and sinus disorders, some skin disorders, and even been linked to type 1 diabetes in children. Skim milk has relatively higher sugar concentration, without the fat, to slow the absorption so this isn't a better form of cow's milk. Number two, gluten. A new syndrome has been identified and called non-celiac gluten sensitivity, this used to be Celiac Disease. And now it's just people are intolerant of glutens but not have full blown Celiac Disease. It's beginning to be studied now and an increasing number of people worldwide are reporting sensitivity to dietary gluten, which can exacerbate a variety of inflammatory disorders from irritable bowel syndrome, autoimmune disorders, weight gain and pain. Take care to avoid high sugar content of gluten-free products. Number three. Sugar, high fructose corn syrup or sweetened beverages, they are known to increase the secretion of insulin for the pancreas which leads to an increase in belly fat, thereby producing inflammatory molecules, the big word for that is cytokines. Also, a link has been recently established between sugar intake, high blood pressure, as well as high triglycerides, which is one of the factors in your cholesterol profile. Number four, transfats. Most of these have been excluded, but they include vegetable oil with the word hydrogenated in it. Plus highly refined oil such as corn, soy, safflower and sunflower. These are also very high in Omega Six fatty acids, too much of which can contribute to inflammation as well. These fats damage the inner lining of blood vessels, or the endothelium, which can contribute to cardiovascular disease. Five, animal fats. These are high in substances called arachidonic acid, which can trigger inflammation when eaten in significant amounts. Egg yolks are high in arachidonic acid, which is why it's best to select omega-3 eggs which are actually anti-inflammatory. So look for the omega-3 labeling on the packaging. Number six, processed, packaged foods and refined flours. These are the trouble makers. Refined or enriched flours, when you read the label, have been stripped of the bran, which provides essential fiber as well as many essential nutrients, hence the name enriched. Processed and packaged foods almost always have undesirable additives, often to increase the shelf life of a product along with sugar and sodium to promote over-consumption. These foods are very rapidly digested, which results in a rapid rise in blood sugar, and these foods are calorie dense but nutritionally poor. Number seven alcohol, yes alcohol when consumed in excess, that is more than two drinks a day for men or more than one one drink per day for women. Alcohol promotes inflammation of the liver, pancreas and fat tissue. It's a simple sugar, alcohol is, that is rapidly absorbed, toxic to nerve tissues and needs detoxified -- needs to be detoxified by the liver to be eliminated. So, once a pickle, never a cucumber. Number eight , monosodium glutamate (MSG). Consumption can lead to fatty liver disease, another inflammatory condition, worsening of symptoms of fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, it has been linked to obesity, headaches and swelling in the extremities. Number nine, artificial sweeteners. Although largely anecdotal at this time, the body of evidence supporting the toxicity of the artificial sweeteners is growing rapidly. Sucralose has been linked to inflammatory bowel disease and the consumption of artificially sweetened beverages has been shown to actually stimulate appetite, leading to weight gain and it's associated inflammatory diseases. Who knew? Number ten, advanced glycation end products or ages - AGES. Compounds of this form are found mostly in proteins that have been cooked at high temperatures in dry heat; for example, grilling or frying as opposed to moist cooking methods. These have been linked to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, can worsen osteoporosis and are especially dangerous for people with diabetes and kidney disease. Moist cooking methods such as poaching, steaming, stewing and boiling or use of an acidic marinade for about an hour before cooking helps to minimize the form of AGES which do promote aging when you're cooking meat. Thanks for listening.

Best Diet For Multiple Sclerosis? What we recommend might surprise you

12:08
Best Diet For Multiple Sclerosis? What we recommend might surprise you! Nutrition matters in Multiple Sclerosis. Unfortunately, there is NO magic diet that fixes MS. OK. Also there is paucity of scientific evidence to support any of the current so-called "MS diets." Now that doesn't mean that they do not work, it just means that I lack adequate objective evidence to recommend them. So where does that leave us? Are there ANY solid medically supported recommendations out there? YES. Yes there are. It turns out that a Heart Healthy diet is recommended for people with Multiple Sclerosis. Uncontrolled cardio-vascular risk factors (things like morbid obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure) actually drive the MS disease process FASTER! This is separate from the cardio-vascular concerns themselves. So, for this reason, it's a reasonable for people with Multiple Sclerosis to consider a heart health diet. This video reviews what a heart healthy diet entails, broken down into 4 sections. Then I included a bonus section on dietary supplements! 1. Watch equation calories in (mouth) vs calories out (exercise). Recommendations for daily physical activity and portion control are reviewed. Also discuss drinking more water! 2. Foods that are "Good to Eat" with a Heart Healthy Diet: These include all variety of fruits and veg, fiber rich Whole grain, Skinless poultry and fish (fish at least twice weekly), non tropical vegetable cooking oils (e.g. canola, corn, olive, peanut, soybean, sunflower), Low fat (1%) or fat free (skim) dairy products and low sodium foods (cook w/o or w/ little added salt). 3. Foods to "Limit/Avoid": These include foods with high saturated fats (fatty beef, lamb, port, poultry w/ skin, beef fat, lard, cream, butter, cheese). If you to have red meat, choose the leanest cut. This section also includes foods high in trans fats: This includes things like doughnuts, cookies, crackers, muffins, pies & cakes, commercially fried foods /baked goods with shortening or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils. It's important to avoid sweets and sugar sweetened beverages. Also important to avoid foods high in sodium. prepare foods with little/no salt. 4. Alcohol and Tobacco: The heart healthy diet recommends limited alcohol intake to 1 drink a day for women and 2 drinks a day for men. It recommends that you DON'T SMOKE. BONUS: I included a bonus section of the video on SUPPLEMENTS: I discuss my opinions, and talk about MVI, vitD3, vit B12, high dose biotin, fiber, water and probiotics. ♥ Poor Blood Flow & Circulation Treatments

05:09
How to quickly improve your blood flow and circulation in 30 days or less, naturally! ►►http://drsam.co/yt/ImproveCirculation ======================================= What are the best treatments for improving blood flow and circulation? I don’t want to take drugs, they have too many negatives. ======================================= This is an important question because poor circulation isn’t a “condition” itself. It’s the result of OTHER health issues. Poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to Hypertension and high blood pressure Hardening and narrowing of your arteries Higher cholesterol and plaque build up The good news is that this can be reversed and avoided naturally, without prescription medications, crazy diets or strenuous exercise programs. In order to get the fastest results, we need to first AVOID some common situations that cause poor circulation and then make small lifestyle changes that will dramatically IMPROVE your blood flow. What To Avoid If you smoke cigarettes, you must stop. You need to eliminate or reduce simple carbohydrates and sugars because they increase your blood sugar and insulin levels and that deteriorates the lining of your blood vessels over time. Reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Avoid long periods of immobility. If you’re sitting behind the computer or desk or sofa all day long, you need to get up and move every hour or so. Avoid hydrogenated and unhealthy fats. These are cooked fats and oils, usually found in processed foods, which cause inflammation and thus, reduced blood flow. What To Improve Drink more water because it dilutes your blood and improves circulation. You should drink at least half your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 150 lbs, drink 75 oz daily. Add in some lemon juice for taste and to also reduce acidity and inflammation. You need to move more often. Any form of daily exercise is great. Lifting weights is the best. Dancing, going in the pool, playing sports, etc. are all great. And the simplest and easiest is daily walking. The goal is 20-30 minutes of daily working. But even starting with 10-15 minutes, 3x a week is a great start. If you can afford getting a massage, that would be great. If you’re in a relationship, maybe you can get your significant other to give you the occasional massage. Elevating your legs and hanging upside down on an inversion board is also very beneficial. Finally, there are specific herbs, vitamins and minerals that are clinically proven to help improve circulation and blood flow. Most people start here because it’s easy, convenient and the results are quick. You can find out more about the best ingredients and the exact formula that my family and I use to improve blood flow, in the description box below this video.
