Get rid of all antidepressants to be healthier, live longer, Peter Gotzsche, MD
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Getting rid of all antidepressants would improve health, lengthen life says Prof. Peter Gotzsche MD “Given their lack of benefit, I estimate we could stop almost all psychotropic drugs without causing harm—by dropping all antidepressants, ADHD drugs, and dementia drugs (as the small effects are probably the result of unblinding bias) and using only a fraction of the antipsychotics and benzodiazepines we currently use,” writes Prof. Peter Gøtzsche, MD. “This would lead to healthier and more long lived populations. “Because psychotropic drugs are immensely harmful when used long term, they should almost exclusively be used in acute situations and always with a firm plan for tapering off, which can be difficult for many patients. “We need new guidelines to reflect this.” About Dr. Gøtzsche Dr. Gøtzsche is the author of several wonderful books including Deadly Psychiatry and Organised Denial in which he talks about the problems with psychiatric drugs. He is also author of the wonderful book Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime: How Big Pharma Has Corrupted Healthcare. Dr. Gøtzsche also cofounded the Cochrane Collaboration in 1993, which is a group of scientists around the world who analyze data to try and figure out the truth about drugs and other health topics. Every day psychiatric drugs kill more than 911 NHS Murderers
People WAKE UP PLEASE They make up syndromes disorders, .. You name it. All for huge PROFITS and PLEASURE. Yes, they love watching you suffer and die, taking all your money on the way. Paxil side effects Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: skin rash or hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Contact your doctor promptly if you have any of the following side effects, especially if they are new symptoms or if they get worse: mood changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, irritability, agitation, aggressiveness, severe restlessness, mania (mental and/or physical hyperactivity), thoughts of suicide or hurting yourself. Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: * seizure (convulsions); * tremors, shivering, muscle stiffness or twitching; * problems with balance or coordination; * agitation, confusion, sweating, fast heartbeat; or * easy bruising or bleeding (such as a nosebleed). Less serious Paxil side effects may include: * feeling nervous, restless, or unable to sit still; * drowsiness, dizziness, weakness; * sleep problems (insomnia); * nausea, constipation, loss of appetite; * weight changes; * decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm; or * dry mouth, yawning, or ringing in your ears. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any unusual or bothersome side effect. Has your child or grandchild suffered severe side effects from psychiatric treatment? (Like the boy put on psychotropic drugs who then lost his appetite, suffered headaches, tired easily and pleaded with his mother, Do I have to take this drug, Mom? Im smart enough on my own!) Have you seen your child or grandchild worsen under psychiatric treatment, or suffer real harm or even death? Psychiatry can destroy a childs education, life and future. If you have witnessed or experienced this, you are not alone. Through psychiatrys false explanations, easy-seizure (commitment) laws and depersonalizing treatments, thousands across the globe unwittingly fall into psychiatrys coercive system every day. If your child or a child you know has been victimized by false psychiatric diagnoses such as attention deficit disorder and then forced to undergo harmful or degrading psychiatric treatment by a psychiatrist, psychologist or other mental health practitioner, CCHR is willing to listen and assist you. To protect yourself and those you love from criminal psychiatric abuse, the abuses must be reported to proper law enforcement agencies so effective action can be taken. QUESTION: WHAT SHOULD BE REPORTED? ANSWER: Report any crime or act which you believe endangers the health, safety and well-being of a child, family member or friend, including neglect, acts of physical or sexual assault, abusive physical or chemical restraints, false imprisonment (wrongful detention in a psychiatric facility), fraud or misdiagnosis. QUESTION: HOW SHOULD THIS BE REPORTED? ANSWER: Write up all known details about the abuse, including dates, places, names of psychiatrists, psychologists or others involved, ensuring patient confidentiality is respected. Send this to the nearest CCHR chapter. Following are some guidelines: 1. Provide answers to these questions: What led to the child or other person being diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder, treated and/or hospitalized by a mental health practitioner? What was the diagnosis given? Was this given after a thorough medical examination for underlying physical problems that could look like mental illness? Was there health insurance involved? Did it seem the diagnosis was based on what insurance coverage was held? Was length of hospitalization increased or decreased based on insurance coverage? Was full, written, informed consent given for the treatment received? If the abuse involved physical or chemical restraints, do you know who ordered the restraints and under what circumstances? What damage, if any, was suffered? 2. Support your information with as much documentation as possible. Remember, do not do anything illegal. Use only evidence that is acquired legally to substantiate the abuse. 3. Call CCHR at 1-(800)-869-2247 to further discuss your case and make an appointment. All information will be held in strict confidence. http://www.cchr.org/land/reportabuse/parents_and_grandparents_abuse_report.html

Treatment Failure? Consider this short, important video playlist: *3 Basic ADHD Medication Challenges* http://corepsych.com/basic-3 Remember this: Prozac and Paxil both significantly block the pathway for the metabolism of Adderall IR and all the amphetamine products for ADHD treatment including Vyvanse, Dexedrine, and Adderall XR. If you take either of these two antidepressants together with an amphetamine, watch out. You can significantly become overdosed on the amphetamine through drug interactions. Often the interaction can unpredictably occur several months later. The patient becomes toxic to the amphetamine, angry, irrational, can't sleep, can't eat, or can become dangerously destructive. The Adderall/Vyvanse/amphetamine often gets blamed. The Prozac and the Paxil are the problems. This specific pathway interaction is relevant also for Concerta and MPH [methylphenidate] products blocking 2D6 when taken with AMP [amphetamine] products. See "Drug Interaction Principles for Medical Practice," Wynn, Cozza, Armstrong, et al. for details. Skor's Review on Modafinil (provigil)
I never did eat any eggs! I took 200mg again today at 8am. I woke up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep tossing and turning. So at 8am said F this and said I give up and drank cup of coffee and popped a Modafinil and now its 4 hours later and dont feel much of anything special. I am sticking with my Kratom. Way more awesome and special. Thanks DV for letting me try this out before going and buying this online. Update April 7th 2014. Took Modafinail when way tired last night and it did make the sleepiness almost vanish with no energy rush or anxiety, just a calm relaxed feel. But in the back of my mind I still dwell of the fact I didnt get good sleep. I like sleep and it makes me feel better! Not getting sleep seems mentally WACK! Meth addict type dumb shit. Your body needs sleep to be healthy! This is one complex drug that is hard to explain. It does different things for you depending on your current mind state or current motivation in life. Like few times I took it, it made me super smart. Update - april 18th: I just started Strattera and gonna give it a month and make a video explaining it soon.

What is Vyvanse – HUGE Dangers with Better Choices!
Click on the link below for a free video guide to dietary supplements and herbal medicine! http://utahtexans.com/ In this video I want to talk about what is Vyvanse as well as give you a few other options when it comes to treatment. One of the largest problem we face as a society is too much convenience. What do you think about that statement? We want the quick fix and drug companies make what we want even though it's probably not the best thing for us. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD for short is when a person has problems paying attention, they have too much activity and have difficulty controlling behavior. It's the most common mental disorder in children. Vyvanse is for ADHD and it's similar to Ritalin except if you take the drug it lasts a long time 13 hours. Some people claim in helps with binge eating. Does it work, sure there are studies that shows it works, but there is a price to pay and I want you to be aware of that price. I'm not talking about money. The side effects of the drug or just as bad if not worse that ADHD. It can increase your heart rate, blood pressure which is huge problem and a silent killer, cause panic attacks, insomnia and changes to your personality. Due to this you or maybe it's for your child may want to get off the drug quickly and this is also a problem. When coming off the drug some people experience depression, thoughts of suicide, mood changes and heavy sweating. It's very easy to become addicted to this drug. There is also many other side effects such as combining this drug with alcohol there are things such as dizziness, stomach pains and diarrhea. There is the free radical dangers of this drug. At this point you might be thinking what are other ideas to solve ADHD. This comes back to the point that as a society are problem is too much convenience because solving ADHD naturally takes more work. You could try changes to your diet. Cut out processed foods and food coloring. According Mayo clinic some studies show there is a link between these foods and ADHD. Another idea is it could be an allergen. Bee pollen works great for allergies. You can get that in a supplement form. You could try eliminating gluten from your diet, some people have a problem with that. You could also make other changes. You can get a message. A 2003 study published in the journal Adolescence  SHOWED THAT Students with ADHD who received massage therapy for 20 minutes twice a week over the course of a month experienced improved mood in the short term and improved classroom behavior in the longer term. Lastly take a quality multivitamin supplement. To learn how to shop for a supplement click on the link below. http://utahtexans.com/

Wearable Cognitive Assistance
Google Tech Talk June 15, 2015 ("show more" for more information) Presented by Mahadev Satyanarayanan, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University ABSTRACT GPS navigation systems have transformed our driving experience. They guide you step-by-step to your destination, offering you helpful just-in-time voice guidance about upcoming actions. Can we generalize this metaphor? Imagine a wearable cognitive assistance system that combines a device like Google Glass with cloud-based processing to guide you through a complex task. You hear a synthesized voice telling you what to do next, and you see visual cues in the Glass display. When you make an error, the system catches it immediately and corrects you before the error cascades. Fortunately, this is not science fiction. To support this genre of applications, we have created a multi-tiered system architecture called Gabriel. This architecture preserves tight end-to-end latency bounds on compute-intensive operations, while addressing concerns such as limited battery capacity and limited processing capability of wearable devices. We have gained initial experience on building Gabriel applications that provide user assistance for narrow and well-defined tasks that require specialized knowledge and/or skills. Specifically, we have built proof-of-concept implementations for four tasks: assembling 2D Lego models, freehand sketching, playing ping-pong, and recommending context-relevant YouTube tutorials. This talk will examine the potential and challenges of wearable cognitive assistance, present the Gabriel architecture, and describe the early proof-of-concept applications that we have built on it. Therapeutic Windows Improve ADHD Medication Precision

Review these tips for more successful ADHD target recognition. Video on DOE, Duration of Effectiveness: http://youtu.be/XkO_glQDWhs Video on Metabolism: http://youtu.be/Z9lHlti70i4 10 Window Tips That Work 1. Each medication or supplement: Every intervention carries it's own Therapeutic Window requirements. 2.. Don't Mix Expectations: Serotonin products don't treat dopamine issues and vice versa. This point is basic -- yet surprisingly neglected. We don't treat heart disease with insulin, serotonin challenges can't be treated by dopaminergic products. Customize treatment objectives in detail clinically. Don't expect the impossible. 3. Unpredictable Outcomes: ADHD Meds or supplements almost always remain unpredictable if underlying metabolic/body variables remain overlooked. 4. Window Structure -- Dosage: Too Much, out the top, Too Little, not working, out the bottom, Too Short or Too Long on the duration/sides, all of these are essential ADHD Medication Dosage challenges. If you keep chasing that window, metabolism is the culprit, creating problems with the dosages through biomedical challenges. This is basic! 5. Roving Therapeutic Window: Don't chase your tail with up and down doses, or multiple different med trials over the years when you see that your Window moves around unpredictably. Using a maybe, Roving, process to find that Sweet Spot, devolves to little more than office experimentation, and creates repeated dosage changes to meet those varying conditions. Remember: that Roving Therapeutic Window [correlates well with] = Metabolic Challenges that require measurement and specific correction -- then you can stop chasing your tail. 6. Narrow Therapeutic Window: ADHD Medications, carefully adjusted by a concerned and observant medical professional, simply can't find the sweet spot, the dosage that works for that medicine. Characteristically: informed, small doses at the start don't dial in to sufficiently cover the Window details, then even very small dosage adjustments upward take the dosage total into the land of side effects, out the Top of the Window, or extend the Sides past bedtime. The Window is Narrow because there are abiding neurotransmitter and metabolic imbalances that require assessment -- more than 80% of the time [setting aside other variables e.g. genetics]. 7. Neurotransmitter Imbalances Can't Correct With Meds: if no neurotransmitter chickens live in the synaptic ranch. Remember: psych meds and supplements both require specific neurotransmitters and healthy glial cell activity to work effectively. 8. Trace Elements and Heavy Metals Matter: neurotransmitter birthing/regeneration requires attention to a different set of multiple variables: e.g., to name but a few -- specific amino acid precursors, effective enzyme systems, effective digestion, sufficient intake/nutrition, and trace element balance for effective enzyme activities. Heavy metals, toxins, also create obvious impediments, -- but only obvious if measured. 9. Window Challenges always require further investigation, genetics, neurotransmitters, hormones, trace elements -- otherwise the ADHD client remains almost untreatable -- even more depressed and shamed than when they started. 10. Additional Treatment Interventions: In many confusing [and many standard] presentations we frequently suggest neurofeedback, EMDR, yoga, meditation, all of which support improved prefrontal cortical function. Meds and supplements aren't, of course, the only answers. Transit Time Test Instructions PDF: http://www.corepsych.com/ttt IgG immunity reactions are the real culprits - see this post: http://www.corepsychblog.com/2012/09/... *New ADHD Medication Rules* discusses the relevance of metabolism and biomedical corruptions in detail - see this link for *pre-pub discounts* if you're looking for details that work: http://www.drcharlesparker.com/new-ru...
