Water Retention: Try these 3 Foods to Reduce Bloating: Thomas DeLauer
Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week! http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Water Retention: 3 Foods to Reduce Bloating- Thomas DeLauer… What is a Diuretic? Diuretics are sometimes called ‘water tablets’ and are designed to increase the amount of water and salt expelled from the body as urine (termed diuresis) They help get rid of excess fluid by removing sodium and chloride from the body in the urine - the sodium and chloride in turn draw excess water from the body. Too much salt can cause extra fluid to build up in your blood vessels, raising your blood pressure. There are different types of prescribed diuretics acting on different levels of a nephron (the smallest unit of kidney) The basic mechanism seen in most of them is that they act on pumps of a nephron, which means that they decrease the absorption of sodium from urine, and thus more water remains in the urine. (1) Use of Diuretics: Doctors prescribe diuretics when the body is retaining too much fluid. The following conditions may require the regulation of fluid in the body or result in fluid retention: High blood pressure, congestive heart failure, kidney dysfunction, edema (tissue swelling, such as in swollen legs and feet) Diuretics lower your blood pressure by flushing salt out of your body, which causes the walls of your blood vessel to relax and widen - easier for your blood to flow through. Congestive heart failure keeps your heart from pumping blood effectively throughout your body: this leads to a buildup of fluids in your body, which is called edema. Diuretics help reduce this fluid buildup. Prescription diuretics may cause some side effects. These include fatigue, muscle cramps, lightheadedness, rash, and headaches. (1,2,3) Natural Diuretics: Some herbs and dietary supplements have diuretic properties that may be helpful to you and won’t provide any negative side effects. Asparagus: It contains high levels of the amino acid asparagine, which serves as a natural diuretic, and increased urination not only releases fluid but helps rid the body of excess salts. Asparagine also benefits our central nervous system by helping with the maintenance of balance or equilibrium – keeps you from being overly calm or nervous. Also essential for the proper functioning and health of our nerves and other cells of the body, It controls their metabolism in the brain. Dandelion Leaves: Full of vitamins A, B, C, and D, as well as minerals, such as iron, potassium, and zinc. Dandelion leaves are used to add flavor to salads, sandwiches, and teas. Dandelion leaves act as a diuretic, increasing the amount of urine your body makes. The leaves are used to stimulate the appetite and help digestion. Dandelion flower has antioxidant properties. In one study (Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine) dandelion leaves were ingested by volunteers to investigate whether an increased urinary frequency and volume would result. Volume of urinary output and fluid intake were recorded by subjects. For the entire population, 17 subjects, there was a significant increase (5%) in the frequency of urination in just 5 hours after the first dose. You can find dandelion herbs and roots fresh or dried in a variety of forms, including tinctures, liquid extract, teas, tablets, and capsules (4) Parsley: Parsley is one of the best natural diuretics for edema treatment and fluid retention. Parsley increases urine output by acting as an aquaretic, meaning it acts to increase water excretion from the body without affecting electrolytes such as sodium and potassium the way most conventional diuretic drugs do. Parsley’s effect on your body’s electrolytes is largely neutral. Parsley herb extracts have been studied as natural diuretics in combination with another aquaretic, asparagus. In uncontrolled trials, this combination caused significant weight loss in overweight patients and significantly lowered blood pressure in patients with hypertension, without changing other laboratory values or physiological processes (5) References: 1) The Top 7 Natural Diuretics. Adios Slimming Pills Reviews - Do Adios Max Tablets Work?
Garcinia Extra official website: http://www.slimmingpillsinfo.co.uk/go/garciniaextra.php - Visit it now to get more info about losing weight with no effort and side effects. Adios and Adios Max are the UK's well known brands for herbal slimming aid that is claiming to help you lose weight naturally. The problem is - when you examine their website and check ingredient list, you find that they don't make any bold claims about rapid and substantial weight loss, rather recommend to use Adios along with a healthy diet and exercising regime. Why that? It's really simple! The ingredients in Adios are really cheap (just as the pills itself), and weight loss (if any) is reached through the loss of water, which is caused by diuretics effect of Dandelion root and other ingredients. Adios Max, instead of diuretics, now contains increased dosage of Seaweed (Fucus dry extract), boosting the thyroid hormones production, so the activated thyroid increases the metabolic rate, which in turn, should help with burning off more fat. Adios has several side effects, so it's not recommended to use, due to low effectiveness. As the alternative, we'd recommend more powerful slimming solutions, like Garcinia Cambogia Extra. This pharmaceutical drug is used to treat congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and many other medical conditions. Research and clinical studies prove it to be a very effective drug class for many, as it works by causing the blood vessels to become enlarged or dilated, and thus causing a reduction in the blood pressure. This lowering of the blood pressure makes it easier for the heart to pump blood and it can improve the function of a failing heart. In the United States, 10 ACE inhibitors are in use: Ramipril (Altace) Enalapril (Vasotec, Epaned) Quinapril (Accupril) Captopril (Capoten) Benazepril (Lotensin) Lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril) Fosinopril (Monopril) Moexipril (Univasc) Trandolapril (Mavik) Perindopril (Aceon) NOTE...that the brand names of all of these above end with the suffix “pril”. NOW.. let’s take a closer look at this drug class, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, these drugs are helpful in treating heart, blood vessel, and kidney problems... Mechanism of Action: The human body is an amazing organism…In order to regulate water and blood pressure, our body follows special mechanisms. For example when the blood pressure drops too low, the kidneys release renin into the bloodstream. Renin then reacts with a protein called angiotensinogen that is produced by the liver. As a result, they form angiotensin I. Then another reaction converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II, with the help of angiotensin-converting enzyme found in the respiratory system. This whole mechanism is known as Renin-angiotensin system (RAS). Angiotensin II is a powerful substance. It circulates around the body in the bloodstream and induces several changes on the cardiovascular system. Such as stimulating adrenal cortex to release adolsterone and Constricting or narrowing down the blood vessels around the body. Aldosterone increases the reabsorption of water and sodium in the tubules of the kidneys. As a result, The volume of the blood and the concentration of salt in the blood increase leading to high blood pressure. The constriction of blood vessels results in high pressure inside the vessels, which also means an increase in blood pressure. Both of these events cause the heart to exert more pressure while pumping blood into the main arteries. Hence, it reverses the low blood pressure but it can also lead to other cardiovascular disorders if it persists for a long time. ACE inhibitors reduce the impact of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) on the blood pressure by inhibiting the angiotensin converting enzyme. As a result, The conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II is slowed down which brings about several changes in the cardiovascular system. The rate of water reabsorption in the kidneys drops and so volume of blood decreases. And the blood vessels relax and become dilated. Both of these factors “reduce the work load on the heart,” (this phrase is a simple explanation that the nurse might give to her patient to explain how the ACE inhibitor

Ascites : Important Points to Remember Other Hepatology Lectures: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfBFwAwues0mECQ6y63vV-2OZIVSfbt2K Subscribe to this channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKDwY2bhQtcMUZ3UFdN3Mng?sub_confirmation=1 Image by Cancer Research UK (Original email from CRUK) CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0), via Wikimedia Commons Ascites is the abnormal buildup of fluid in the abdomen. Technically, it is more than 25 mL of fluid in the peritoneal cavity. Symptoms may include increased abdominal size, increased weight, abdominal discomfort, and shortness of breath. Complications can include spontaneous bacterial peritonitis. In the developed world, the most common cause is liver cirrhosis. Other causes include cancer, heart failure, tuberculosis, pancreatitis, and blockage of the hepatic vein. In cirrhosis, the underlying mechanism involves high blood pressure in the portal system and dysfunction of blood vessels. Diagnosis is typically based on a examination together with ultrasound or a CT scan. Testing the fluid can help in determining the underlying cause. Treatment often involves a low salt diet, medication such as diuretics, and draining the fluid. A transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) may be placed but is associated with complications. Effects to treat the underlying cause, such as by a liver transplant may be considered. Of those with cirrhosis, more than half develop ascites in the ten years following diagnosis. Once ascites has developed in this group, average life expectancy is less than three years. Mild ascites is hard to notice, but severe ascites leads to abdominal distension. Patients with ascites generally will complain of progressive abdominal heaviness and pressure as well as shortness of breath due to mechanical impingement on the diaphragm. Ascites is detected on physical examination of the abdomen by visible bulging of the flanks in the reclining patient ("flank bulging"), "shifting dullness" (difference in percussion note in the flanks that shifts when the patient is turned on the side) or in massive ascites with a "fluid thrill" or "fluid wave" (tapping or pushing on one side will generate a wave-like effect through the fluid that can be felt in the opposite side of the abdomen). Other signs of ascites may be present due to its underlying cause. For instance, in portal hypertension (perhaps due to cirrhosis or fibrosis of the liver) patients may also complain of leg swelling, bruising, gynecomastia, hematemesis, or mental changes due to encephalopathy. Those with ascites due to cancer (peritoneal carcinomatosis) may complain of chronic fatigue or weight loss. Those with ascites due to heart failure may also complain of shortness of breath as well as wheezing and exercise intolerance. Routine complete blood count (CBC), basic metabolic profile, liver enzymes, and coagulation should be performed. Most experts recommend a diagnostic paracentesis be performed if the ascites is new or if the patient with ascites is being admitted to the hospital. The fluid is then reviewed for its gross appearance, protein level, albumin, and cell counts (red and white). Additional tests will be performed if indicated such as microbiological culture, Gram stain and cytopathology. The serum-ascites albumin gradient (SAAG) is probably a better discriminant than older measures (transudate versus exudate) for the causes of ascites. A high gradient indicates the ascites is due to portal hypertension. A low gradient indicates ascites of non-portal hypertensive as a cause. Ultrasound investigation is often performed prior to attempts to remove fluid from the abdomen. This may reveal the size and shape of the abdominal organs, and Doppler studies may show the direction of flow in the portal vein, as well as detecting Budd-Chiari syndrome (thrombosis of the hepatic vein) and portal vein thrombosis. Additionally, the sonographer can make an estimation of the amount of ascitic fluid, and difficult-to-drain ascites may be drained under ultrasound guidance. An abdominal CT scan is a more accurate alternate to reveal abdominal organ structure and morphology. Complications involve portal vein thrombosis and splenic vein thrombosis: clotting of blood affects the hepatic portal vein or varices associated with splenic vein. This can lead to portal hypertension and reduction in blood flow. When a liver cirrhosis patient is suffering from thrombosis, it is not possible to perform a liver transplant, unless the thrombosis is very minor. In case of minor thrombosis, there are some chances of survival using cadaveric liver transplant. More: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascites

Metabolic disorders that are associated with a high blood sugar and glucose are collectively known as Diabetes Mellitus which you will see abbreviated as: DM. Reasons for high sugar level can be too little insulin produced by the body or the body cells can not respond to insulin properly or it can be both. Most of the ingested food is broken down into a sugar known as glucose which then goes to the bloodstream and acts as the major source of energy in the body. It allows the body cells to grow and sustain. But in order to enter the cells, glucose needs a hormone known as insulin which is produced by the pancreas. Every time we eat and food is broken down into glucose, pancreas react by producing insulin according to the level of glucose in the blood. Insulin then carries the glucose from the blood into different cells around the body, reducing the level of glucose in the bloodstream. Generally, concentration of glucose in the blood fluctuates between 70-110 mg/dL in a normal individual. Diabetes mellitus occurs when the pancreas does not produce sufficient insulin, or the cells do not respond to insulin; in both cases glucose stays in the bloodstream due to which not only the level of blood glucose stays high but also cells do not receive sufficient glucose. These conditions manifest symptoms of Diabetes mellitus. Initially, cells lack sufficient fuel to sustain but prolonged high blood sugar results in organ failure, in which major organs such as heart, kidneys, eyes, nerve cells and blood vessels stop functioning. There are 3 types of Diabetes Mellitus: 1. Type 1 Diabetes: is when pancreas cannot produce sufficient insulin. This type of DM is considered an autoimmune condition, as the patient’s body destroys its own beta cells in the pancreas that are responsible for the production of insulin. As pancreas is unable to produce insulin, type 1 DM is managed by injecting insulin to maintain a normal blood sugar level; which is why in the past it was known as insulin-dependent diabetes. About 15% of diabetic patients have type 1 DM. 2. Type 2 Diabetes: is when the cells do not respond to insulin properly, leading to what is called insulin resistance.

6 Risky Foods To Avoid With Gout
See the original article here http://www.dietvsdisease.org/foods-to-avoid-with-gout/ To subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/c/DietvsDiseaseOrg?sub_confirmation=1 A gout attack is not pleasant. The pain is so bad that sufferers are often hospitalised for days, if not weeks. More importantly, gout is typically indicative of other more serious health issues behind the scenes… Like a window into the state of an individual’s metabolic health. Unfortunately the occurrence, or recurrence of gout is only getting worse. Rates are on the rise from China to the UK, and it is now the most common inflammatory arthritis in the US (1, 2). Information online about gout treatment can be particularly confusing, and even contradictory at times. This is because we don’t yet completely understand the mechanism behind gout… But we do have a lot of big clues. The following is a list of the top 6 foods to avoid with gout, explaining what we know and how it applies to you. What is Gout and What Causes It? 1. Alcohol is the biggest risk factor for gout 2. Chicken, beef and other meats appear to be foods to avoid with gout 3. Organ meats are extremely high in purines and should also be avoided 4. A good diet for gout should not include soft drinks or fruit juice 5. Frequent consumption of certain fruits may trigger recurrent gout attacks 6. Aspirin and diuretics significantly increase gout risk Dietitian: Joe Leech (MSc Nutrition)
Hydrate ~Alkalize the Body~Cucumber Benefits ~Kidney Stones~Connective Tissues~Cooling~
Cucumber has an impressive amount of water (about 96%) that is naturally distilled, which makes it superior to ordinary water. Its skin contains a high percentage of vitamin A, so should not be peeled off. The cucumber contains alkaline-forming minerals and is an excellent source of vitamin C and A (anti-oxidants), folate, manganese, molybdenum, potassium, silica, sulfur, and lesser amounts of vitamin B complex, sodium, calcium, and phosphorus. You have seen beauty practitioners use slices of cucumber on their eyes. It is found that the caffeic acid in this vegetable helps to prevent water retention and when applied topically, helps reduce puffy and swollen eyes. Health Benefits Most people are unaware of the immense health benefits of cucumber and would avoid eating cucumber where possible. Fresh cucumber may taste “bland” to some but its thirst-quenching and cooling properties are refreshing. It acts as an anti-oxidant when taken together with I like to mix cucumber with lemon, apple! Here’s a list of health benefits of cool cucumber: Acidity: The alkalinity of the minerals in cucumber juice effectively helps in regulating the body’s blood pH, neutralizing acidity. The juice is also soothing for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Blood pressure: Like celery, this colorless drink can help regulate blood pressure because of its minerals and traces of sodium. Connective tissues, building: The excellent source of silica contributes to the proper construction of connective tissues in our body as in the bones, muscles, cartilage, ligaments and tendons. Cooling: During dry and hot weather, drink a glass of cucumber + celery juice. It wonderfully helps to normalize body temperature. Diuretic: Cucumber juice is diuretic, encouraging waste removal through urination. This also helps in the dissolution of kidney stones. Fever: The temperature regulating properties in cucumber juice makes it a suitable drink when you have a fever. Inflammation: The Chinese think that cucumbers are too “cooling” and not suitable for people with rheumatism. But we know now that cucumber can help counter uric acids that are causing inflammation in joints. When cucumber is taken it does its cleaning work at the joints, thus stirring up pain as it eliminates the uric acid. This means it also help other inflamed conditions like arthritis, asthma, and gout. Hair growth: The silicon and sulfur content in cucumber juice makes it especially helpful in promoting hair growth. Drink it mixed with carrot, lettuce or spinach juice. Puffy eyes: Some people wake up in the morning with puffy eyes, probably due to too much water retention in the body (or having cried to sleep). To reduce the puffiness, lie down and put two slices of cucumber on the eyes for a good ten minutes. Skin conditions: The high amount of vitamin C and anti-oxidants in cucumber makes it an important ingredient in many beauty creams for treating eczema, psoriasis, acne, etc. Sunburn: When there is a sunburn, make cucumber juice and rub it on the affected area for a cooling and healing effect. Water retention: It supplies the necessary electrolytes an is an excellent way to replenish all the electrolytes needed for proper cell function in the body! Get Your Cucumber on!!! My 5 Favorite Cancer-Fighting Essential Oils & 5 Ways to Use Them I am definitely of the belief that one of the most powerful forms of plant-based medicines in the world is essential oils. From promoting relaxation to soothing skin scrapes, to supporting healing and the fight of disease, essential oils offer countless benefits to your life. Let me be clear – the use of these oils is no “fad.” Essential oils have thousands of years of history in traditional medicine, in the most ancient of cultures. The Egyptians, the Chinese, the Greeks… they all used essential oils. From the times of Biblical medicine on through to today, essential oils are used throughout the world. Until fairly recently they’ve been better accepted and popular outside of the United States… but I’m happy to see that so many Americans are catching on to the immense benefits of these healing oils. One of my favorite examples of the long history and effectiveness of essential oils is about a group of thieves in England who, despite daily contact with corpses who had succumbed to the Black Death (the plague), didn’t get sick. The story goes that the King heard about these men who would enter the homes of those taken by the plague, rob them of all their valuables, yet did not fall ill from the highly contagious disease. The King had these thieves captured and when they were brought in front of him, he demanded they reveal their secret. They confessed to being from a family of a long line of apothecaries. They were familiar with the immune protection provided by certain blends of oils, which they would rub all over their bodies, before going thieving. They say the King forced the men to reveal their recipe and then subsequently used the oils to protect himself and his family from the ravages of the Black Death. They also say the recipe is still in the Royal archives to this day. Now I don’t know if all this is all true or not, but the moral of the story is certainly sound. My own personal appreciation of the wide variety of benefits of essential oils (including their ability to protect the body from harm) began during my initial travels for The Quest For The Cures and A Global Quest docu-series. It was then that I realized how truly overlooked essential oils are as a component of the puzzle that is health and healing from disease. These days, my family and I use essential oils in a variety of ways on a daily basis. Our uses for these therapeutic powerhouses are wide-ranging. I’ll list out more further down, but a few ways we personally use essential oils include as medicines, for personal care products, as our cleansing agents, and more. Why do we believe everyone should follow in our footsteps and rely on essential oils, too? It’s simple. My family has opted to use safe, natural remedies that have thousands of years of history proving their benefits, over a dependence on prescriptions of synthetic drugs that have a long list of side effects which are nothing short of dangerous. Likewise, we prefer to use personal care products and household cleaners that are superior alternatives to those containing toxic ingredients. We get the same, or even better results, while losing the risk of damaging our bodies. Charlene and I are frequently asked about what essential oils we favor, and also how we use them. So, I thought I’d share with you some of our favorite anti-cancer oils and some tips for uses. Before I list my favorite essential oils for preventing and healing from cancer, just a reminder that when you are choosing essential oils to always look for the highest quality. You want oils that are certified organic, with 100% purity. My Favorite Anti-Cancer Oils (in alphabetical order) 1. Frankincense Frankincense may well be my number one favorite essential oil for its anti-cancer properties. It is anti-inflammatory, for one, which is vital in the quest to heal from all cancers. Specifically, frankincense has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase, an enzyme responsible for inflammation in the body. Frankincense essential oil also helps boost immune function and prevent illness by dangerous pathogens by multiplying white blood cells and modulating immune reactions. It also helps improve circulation, and reduce stress (it has sedative properties), as well as being a known pain reliever. Oil of frankincense has been shown to contract and tone tissues, which helps to speed regeneration. Frankincense is also shown to provide neurological support, including the ability to destroy toxins that may lead to neurological damage. However, this essential oil has several benefits beyond cancer treatment, including easing arthritis pain, balancing hormones, encouraging skin health, and aiding digestion. 2. Lavender As we’ve written elsewhere on The Truth About Cancer site, lavender essential oil contains the phytochemicals perillyl alcohol and linalool, both found to support cancer healing. Not only is lavender a known pain...

High blood pressure diet: Avoid this frozen treat to reduce symptoms of hypertension
High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, affects more than one in four adults in the UK.Certain foods in your diet can have a negative impact on high blood pressure, such as those that contain high levels of salt.Blood Pressure UK states eating too much salt is the biggest cause of high blood pressure and an adults should eat no more than 6g of salt a day. Most of the salt we eat every day is hidden’ which means it’s already in processed foods like bread, biscuits and breakfast cereals, and prepared ready meals or takeaways, and frozen pizzas are another surprising food people with high blood pressure should avoid. According to the charity, this hidden salt accounts for around 75 per cent of the salt we eat - only 25 per cent comes from the salt we add while cooking or at the table.Nutritionists at Healthline say frozen pizza should be avoided if you have hypertension. The site explains: “All pizzas can be bad for people watching their sodium intake. The combination of cheese, cured meats, tomato sauce, and crust adds up to a lot of sodium. But frozen pizza is especially dangerous for people with hypertension.“To maintain flavour in the pizza once it’s been cooked, manufacturers often add a lot of salt. One serving of a frozen cheese or meat-and-cheese pizza can contain as much as 982 mg of sodium, sometimes even more. The thicker the crust and the most toppings you have, the higher your sodium number will climb.” Natural ways to lower blood pressure Tue, January 2, 2018 Blood pressure: How to lower your blood pressure naturally. R - T Tropical Plant List : Rambutan - Tamarillo (pics)
1.Rambutan Climate:  The rambutan flourishes in tropical, humid regions having well-distributed rainfall. The dry season should not last much over 3 months. 2.Rosemary Climate:  Rosemary prefers warm shaded conditions. Once established it will survive the coldest of UK winters, however, the silver and gold striped varieties are less hardy. Avoid waterlogging. Soil:  Rosemary does best in a light, rather dry soil, and in a sheltered area, such as the base of a low wall with a south aspect. On a chalk soil it grows smaller, but is more fragrant. 3.Sapodilla Health:  Because of the tannin content, young fruits are boiled and the decoction taken to stop diarrhea. An infusion of the young fruits and the flowers is drunk to relieve pulmonary complaints. A decoction of old, yellowed leaves is drunk as a remedy for coughs, colds and diarrhea. A 'tea' of the bark is regarded as a febrifuge and is said to halt diarrhea and dysentery. The crushed seeds have a diuretic action and are claimed to expel bladder and kidney stones. Climate:  The sapodilla is not strictly tropical for mature trees can withstand temperatures of -3C for several hours. Young trees are more tender and apt to be killed by 0C unless the stem is banked with sand or wrapped with straw and burlap during the cold spell. Sapodilla does need plenty of warmth and light to grow successfully. 4.Sesame Health:  Sesame seeds are a very good source of manganese, copper, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorous, vitamin B1, zinc and dietary fiber. 5.Sittu Climate:  The tree requires a tropical or sub-tropical climate. Soil:  Sittu will grow well in all types of well drained soils. It will do equally well in both acid or alkaline soils. It can tolerate atmospheric pollution. 6.Star Anise Health:  Star anise has been used in a tea as a remedy for colic and rheumatism, and the seeds are sometimes chewed after meals to aid digestion. It is also used as a sedative, especially for nervousness and to induce sleep. Climate:  Will grow well both in full sun or part shade. Soil:  Does best in very well in light, well-drained moist soil. 7.Strawberry Guava Climate:  The red strawberry guava is hardier than the common guava and can survive temperatures as low as -5 . It will grow wherever the orange is grown without artificial heating. The yellow strawberry guava is more tender and its climatic requirements are similar to those of the lemon. Both kinds flourish in full sun. Soil:  Strawberry guava does well in limestone and poor soils that would barely support other fruit trees. It is shallow-rooted but the red type is fairly drought tolerant. The yellow is able to endure flooding for short periods. 8.Sugar Apple Climate:  The sugar apple tree requires a tropical or near-tropical climate. Generally, it does best in dry areas and it has high drought tolerance. During the blooming season, drought interferes with pollination and it is, therefore, concluded that the sugar apple should have high atmospheric humidity but no rain when flowering. In severe droughts, the tree sheds its leaves and the fruit rind hardens and will split when it rains. Soil:  The sugar apple is not particular as to soil and has performed well on sand, oolitic limestone and heavy loam with good drainage. Water-logging is intolerable. The tree is shallow-rooted and doesn't need deep soil. 9.Sugarcane Climate:  Sugarcane cultivation requires a tropical or subtropical climate, with a minimum of 600 mm (24 in) of annual moisture. It is one of the most efficient photosynthesizers in the plant kingdom, able to convert up to 2 percent of incident solar energy into biomass. In prime growing regions sugarcane can produce 20 kg for each square meter exposed to the sun. 10.Tamarillo Climate:  Tamarillo is subtropical. It does best where the temperature remains above 10C. Frost at -2C kills the small branches and foliage of mature trees but not the largest branches and main stem. The tree will recover if such frosts are not prolonged or frequent. However, seedlings and cuttings are readily killed by frost during their first year. Protection from wind is necessary as the tree is shallow-rooted and easily blown over. It is also brittle and its branches are easily broken by gusts, especially when laden with fruit. visit also : http://tropicalfruitandveg.com/tfvlista-z.php
