“How to recover from antibiotics.” – What does that mean? If you’ve been treated with a course of antibiotics for a long or a short time, or if you’ve been using food that has antibiotics in it, without you knowing, or if you’ve been misusing antibiotics in any way, you might start to have health problems. You might suffer from certain complaints that will make your life a little bit more difficult. Side Effects of Antibiotics Let me discuss the complaints that you might have from use of antibiotics. The most affected organs would probably be your intestines. That’s because the antibiotics are going to kill the bacterial flora, which is the friendly bacteria in your intestines that is responsible for digestion and making vitamin K, which is important for you. So, you will notice that you’re having trouble in your gut, so, you will start to have bloating, gas, irregular bowel movement, so, you will have constipation, then diarrhea and then bloating again and so on. You might also suffer from heartburn and feeling generally unwell. You might also start to notice bleeding from the gums or from the nose. That’s also related to the lack of vitamin K. You might also suffer from yeast infections, which is a fungal infection that can be anywhere on your body, either on your skin or in your mouth or in the genital area. All that is because your bacteria flora – the friendly bacteria in the gut – has been affected by the antibiotics. So, what we need to do now is correct the level of bacterial flora in your gut. How do we do that? First of, you will need to lead a healthy lifestyle. So, you drink a lot of water. Avoid bad foods. Bad foods are rich in sugar, carbohydrates that are unhealthy, like pasta, packed foods, processed foods – these are all unhealthy foods. Instead of that you should eat vegetables, fruits, grains, healthy fats (that’s vegetable oils mainly). Probiotics and Prebiotics You can also use probiotics. These are very healthy foods that are fermented, so that helps the growth of the good bacteria in the gut. Probiotics are mainly: yogurt, kefir and yeast. If you are suffering from any problems with kefir or yeast, I would suggest that you take it slowly. So you start with very small amounts, like one spoon a day, and then increase it gradually. If you go to the shop and want to buy probiotics, look for the name lactobacillus on it – that’s the good bacteria for you. You can also use foods that are called prebiotics. Prebiotics are foods that help the growth of bacteria, because they don’t get absorbed in the body, they stay for a long time in the intestines. Like, leeks (garlic, onions), honey, bananas, these are all very good foods for your bacteria flora. You can also try fermented fresh vegetables. That means, pickles that are pickled in a healthy way. So, you can try to pickle at home. So, try for example the ginger, to pickle it at home, or maybe cucumbers, also are healthy. But don’t add too much salt. So, pickled vegetables are very good for your gut flora. If you’re a fan of soups you can try bone broth or gelatin soups. You can buy bones from the butcher, and what’s inside – the broth – you can make soups with it, and that’s very good for your gut flora. You can also add onions to it, or any vegetables of your choice. It’s very important to know that your gut flora affects the function of your intestines, and healthy intestines affect the whole body. So it’s very important to replace the gut flora that has been affected by your antibiotic abuse. I wish you all the best! No More UTI, No More Antibiotics - I Found A Solution

I can relate to your frustration. As someone who suffered from UTIs almost every month, I finally found a solution. I haven't had a UTI in over a year! Urinary Tract Infections, also known as UTI. I wanted to share this video with those of you who suffer from UTIs. When I would get the UTI, I would have to go on antibiotics because the infection processed through my body so fast that drinking lots of water or cranberry juice did not help make it go away. For me, once I get a UTI, the only way to make it go away is to go on antibiotics. For some people, they can drink a lot of water or cranberry juice and it goes away. That just never worked with me. Prevention was my only hope. I had tried many things to prevent from getting the UTI (baking soda, cinnamon, concentrated cranberry pills, purest cranberry juice) and I would still get UTI and have to go on antibiotics over and over again. I believe taking antibiotics whether from UTI or whatever type of infections (ear infections, etc) is not good for you. It slowly breaks down your immune system and ruins your stomach. I believe it is the cause of my allergies and also causes my stomach to react unnaturally to certain foods, which I hadn't had a problem previously. I've heard that if taking antibiotics for a long time, your body becomes immune to it and one day when you need it, it won't work anymore. Sounds so scary. Therefore, I wanted to find a solution to never getting another UTI again. I have been UTI free for over 1 year now. I'm so excited to share this with especially those that are similar and also want to find a solution. This product that I use is called D-Mannose Powder and the brand is NOW. Who would have thought a simple sugar powder could help so much to the point I no longer get UTIs. Believe me, I was so skeptical at first. But I had another round of antibiotics waiting for me if it didn't work. First I followed what the suggested usage on the back of the bottle mentioned. That did not work. When I mention flushing with 5 cups in my video, that means drinking 4 - 5 cups of water in 1 hour after waiting 45 minute for the teaspoon of D-Mannose to set in. This bottle is not cheap. So I wanted to make sure I only use it when needed. Not sure which way would work best for you. I'm only sharing my experience and how I have made it work for me. According to a 2009 study, licorice root doesn’t directly kill the bacteria, though it can help prevent it from sticking to cell walls. Broccoli sprouts A compound in broccoli sprouts called sulphoraphane may be effective against H. pylori. Research on mice and humans suggests that it reduces gastric inflammation. It also may lower bacteria colonization and its effects. A study on people with both type 2 diabetes and H. pylori showed that broccoli sprout powder fights the bacteria. It also improved cardiovascular risk factors. Phototherapy Studies show that H. pylori are vulnerable to light. Phototherapy uses ultraviolet light to help eliminate H. pylori in the stomach. Researchers believe phototherapy used within the stomach is safe. It may be most beneficial when antibiotics are not an option.

SAN DIEGO — Researchers at the University of California San Diego have developed micromotors loaded with antibiotics that can treat stomach infections without the use of proton pump inhibitors, a substance used to suppress gastric acid production. Drugs used to treat bacterial infections and other diseases in the stomach are normally taken with proton pump inhibitors. However, the substance can cause adverse side effects such as diarrhea and fatigue or even depression when taken over longer period of in high doses. "It's a one-step treatment with these micromotors, combining acid neutralization with therapeutic action," said Berta Esteban-Fernández de Ávila, a postdoctoral scholar at UC San Diego and a co-first author of the study. According to the study, each micromotor has a magnesium core coated with a layer of titanium dioxide, antibiotic and an outer layer of chitosan, which is a polymer that enables the motors to stick to the stomach wall. The size of each micromotor is about half the width of human hair. Once inside the stomach, the magnesium core reacts with gastric acid which generates a stream of hydrogen microbubbles. The microbubbles propel the vehicles inside the stomach, as well as temporarily increase the pH level to a desired level to release the cargo of antibiotics. The micromotors can be dissolved by gastric acid without leaving harmful residues. Leaky gut syndrome is a condition that millions of people have, and don’t even know it. From the sound of it, you might think leaky gut syndrome only hurts the digestive system, but it can lead to many other health conditions. Think of the lining of your digestive tract like a net with very small holes in it that only lets some things pass through. Your gut lining works as a wall to keep out the bigger pieces that can harm your system. When someone has leaky gut, the “net” in the digestive tract gets damaged, which causes bigger holes to form in the net, so things that usually can’t pass through are now able to. Some of the things that can now pass through are proteins like gluten, bad bacteria, and undigested food pieces. Toxic waste can also leak from the inside of your intestinal wall into your bloodstream, causing an immune reaction. This leads to swelling throughout your system and causes things like: Bloating Food sensitivities Thyroid conditions Fatigue Joint pain Headaches Skin issues Digestive problems Weight gain Syndrome X If left unfixed, it can lead to worse health problems like inflammatory bowel disease (IBS), arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, depression, anxiety, migraine headaches, muscle pain, and chronic fatigue. Leaky gut syndrome has been linked to other psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. So, in many cases, if you can heal the gut, you can heal the brain. Studies show that the cause of your food allergies, low energy, joint pain, thyroid disease, autoimmune conditions, and slow metabolism could be leaky gut symptom spreading through your body. Another problem with leaky gut is that it can stop important minerals and nutrients, like zinc, iron, and vitamin B12, from being taken in. There are four main causes of leaky gut, including: 1. Dysbiosis One of the main causes of leaky gut is a condition called dysbiosis, which means uneven levels of good and bad bacteria in your gut. It would appear that nutrients could simply slip right on into the gut. Sadly the opposite is true. For in order for the body to absorb a mineral, a carrier protein must be attached. This protein must hook onto the mineral that actively carries it across the gut wall into the bloodstream. But when the bowel lining is damaged through inflammation the nutrient carrier proteins get damaged. In addition, the finger-like projections that line the gut and allow us to absorb food gets damaged. When these get destroyed, the result is malabsorption. So in addition to new food and chemical allergies and auto-immune diseases, the leaky gut victim may develop mineral and vitamin deficiencies, even in spite of taking adequate levels of them.
