Some people can experience post-withdrawal symptoms of Lexapro (Escitalopram, Cipralexa). Apparently, i am one of them. I think people should know about this, so this substance should not be taken lightly. This article explains what I am talking about based on research: https://www.everydayhealth.com/columns/therese-borchard-sanity-break/is-it-withdrawal-or-depression-relapse/ Also, if you suffer from insomnia, this should really help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjJGfDHCaBU

In this video, author and depression counselor Douglas Bloch talks about akathisia--an intense inner restlessness brought on as a side effect of medication. Symptoms include anxiety, agitation and a compulsion to move or to walk about. He also shows you how you can take medication in a way that greatly reduces the risk of akathisia. All about my experience while stopping Zoloft! So thankful that I've been able to stop taking Sertraline, but the withdrawal symptoms are a bit of a roller coaster. If you are having the same results, just hang in there! It will definitely be worth it in the end!:) Keep in mind that this is my experience only and that you may not have the same results. I am not a doctor and this video is based on my opinions and no medical facts. Ask your doctor about the side effects and do not make any decisions based off of this video.

Facebook Group for victims, not open to the public, but available if you have had a similar event: https://www.facebook.com/groups/241028905999497/ Severe adverse reaction to one 10mg pill of Lexapro (escitalopram) almost 5 years ago. I am attempting to share my experiences, thoughts and opinions about SSRI drugs and what happened to me. I live in Kentucky, United States. Please comment or send an email to discuss this issue. Lexapro, has ruined my life. One 10mg pill severely damaged my brain. 8 hours after taking the pill, I entered into a world of a neurological nightmare. I am afraid this happens more often than we know. I could have very easily been placed in a psyche-ward or accidentally killed myself the first few days after taking that pill. Then, no one would be able to tell my story. What happened........ After suffering a chronic sleep disorder for decades, I couldn't get more than 4 hours of sleep a night so I went to the doctor for some medical help. September 23rd 2006: The doctor prescribed Lexapro (10mg). So I took this pill having been reassured by frequent television adverstisements that it was safe. My doctor also acted as if these pills were harmless. I took the pill and went to sleep about noon. 8 hours later I woke to the most awful, strange, powerful inner sensations. I was also filled with a feeling of dread or horror. I had never experienced anything like this before and I couldn't believe it. It felt as if my brain was dying...... I jumped out of bed and ran around my house.... I couldn't stop moving or the sensations would get worse. Sheer horror! The symptoms: Many are similar to Serotonin Syndrome. Waves of nervous energy flowing through my body like painful electric shocks Inner tremor Mania Extreme pressure in head Couldn't lay down flat Extreme panic and fear...dread Sensations of my brain and body burning or sizzling, buzzing Intense disconnected feeling from reality High Fever (103) Flu-like symptoms Terrible headache Extreme nausea Waves of sensations throughout my body and skin Visual hallucinations Visual impairments Dizzy spells Unable to exercise much unable to tolerate caffeine, alcohol and other vitamins or medicines Akathisia (inability to stop moving) Panic Showering would hurt my skin Unable to lay down Dizziness Loud ringing in the ears (High frequency) Racing and violent thoughts BRAIN ZAPS (Immediate equilibrium interruption or disruption) Racing, uncontrollable thoughts unable to control emotions Inability to focus Unable to listen to music Unable to listen to music High fever Flu-like symptoms (exactly like the flu) Profuse sweating Unable to distinguish TV from reality Felt like being out of reality Anxiety Depression (due to circumstances) Hyper-sensitivity to almost everything Screaming upon waking I really didn't think I was going to survive. It has been over 4 years since then and I have had to deal with some of these symptoms, in varying degrees, since then. I made slow progress over the years but unfortunately I haven't recovered completely. Plus, since then I have been having unexplained strokes.

To listen on iTunes, click here: For iTunes, click here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/lets-talk-withdrawal-truth-about-antidepressant-drugs/id1212789850?mt=2 This week, we talk to Claire who shares her powerful story of being prescribed antidepressants at the age of 16 and her experiences of trying to withdraw. She describes how she tapered gradually over 2 years but went on to experience SSRI discontinuation syndrome. In this episode we discuss: How Claire was prescribed an antidepressant at a very early age. How she was told lies about a chemical imbalance to justify treatment and that she would need the drugs for life. That there was nothing by way of follow up after the antidepressant was prescribed unless Claire initiated a conversation with her doctors. That several antidepressants stopped working, forcing Claire to change medications. That several attempts to withdraw ended in failure because she was advised to withdraw too quickly and that reinstating a full dose was the only solution. That Claire felt trapped and like a prisoner, thinking she was stuck on the drugs for life and was she ever going to be able to get off them. That a very slow taper over two years was the only way for Claire to be able to tolerate the significant, widespread and very unpleasant physical and psychological effects of withdrawal. That Claire had to fight with doctors to get a liquid version of her medication which was the only way she could taper slowly. Claire's experience of SSRI discontinuation syndrome. That Facebook communities provided vital support to fill the gaping hole in mainstream medicines understanding and knowledge of prescribed drug dependance and withdrawal. Being told by doctors that Claire's experiences were not real and that she should be "over it in a few weeks" That mainstream medicine makes incorrect and dangerous assumptions about the length and severity of antidepressant withdrawal. This is a video explaining what happened when I went from 150 mg of Wellbutrin, up to 300mg daily. These experiences occurred when I was not on my anxiety medications. So if you are taking an anxiety medication along with Wellbutrin, it may offset these types of side affects. It's really hard to explain it clearly, so I apologize if my video is confusing. Thanks for watching.

3 simple tips to follow before buying: 1. Always check the CBD purity, it should be 50% and more. 2. Choose products made in the US or Canada. Due to strict regulations this is your quality guarantee. 3. Do not expect to purchase quality and safe to use CBD oil for pennies. High quality CBD oil should cost at least $45-$50. Choose another product if that amount puts you into an uncomfortable situation financially. Brands that I trust and recommend: 1. Verified CBD Oil (http://verifiedcbd.com). This is probably the oldest brand of CBD I know. Tons of success stories and quality I have tested myself - these are the reasons I have been recommending this brand to my friends and family for years. The only downside is that due to their recent TV "fame" they are often out of stock and can be hard to get. Official website: http://verifiedcbd.com Benefits and Side Effects of CBD Oil Cannabidiol, or CBD as it is commonly known, is a very interesting chemical. And it is responsible for many people changing their views on marijuana use for medicinal purposes. While everyone has heard of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), not many are aware of CBD. The two chemicals are both contained in marijuana, but they serve very different purposes. While the THC in marijuana is will get you high, CBD is a chemical with many benefits from a medicinal point of view - and it does not have the same side effects on the body as THC. What are the Health Benefits of CBD Oil? The ingredient CBD has been used for many years to make several products. One of these products is CBD oil. According to many studies which have carried out on this product, there are many different health benefits associated with it. First and foremost, it can help people who are experiencing excessive nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy or some other type of medical treatment. It is also great at reducing the seizures some people get on a regular basis. Another benefit of CBD oil is how it helps combat inflammation and neuro-degenerative disorders. It is also great for anxiety and depression sufferers. So if you are suffering from one of these conditions, you may want to talk to your physician about the possibility of getting on CBD oil for a few months. CBD oil also contain various o nutrients like carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins such as vitamin B1, B2, B6, D and E, trace minerals such as calcium, iron zinc, magnesium potassium, and several other compounds required by the human body for healthy functioning, such as chlorophyll, carotene, ketones, glycosides, nitrogen-based compounds, etc.. Unlike THC, CBD oil doesn't make you high. The CBD in these this product will not make you feel the same as the THC does. This is because THC is a psychoactive chemical whereas CBD is not. It does not act in the same manner when it comes into contact with your brain's pathways. It does not interfere with your psychological or psychomotor functions either. For those who want a simpler explanation: CBD oil is 100% safe and won't get you high! Are there Any Side Effects of CBD Oil? Whereas CBD oil has been proven safe for human consumption, some researches done on it have identified a possibility of side effects in patients taking the oil. One study which was published in 1886 in the International Journal of Neuroscience showed that CBD oil could cause some mild side effects in patients with dystonia. These side effects include dry mouth, hypotension, sedation, psychomotor slowing, and lightheadedness. However, there are no side effects which have been reported when CBD is taken in high doses. As you can see, you should not worry when taking CBD oil as its side effects are very mild. Buy CBD oil today and experience the many benefits associated with it. I've seen a lot of other videos on the topic of quitting the SSRI antidepressant Zoloft (sertraline) but not many on successfully getting through the withdrawals and coming through the other side safely. I hope this video is reassuring to anyone out there who is going through the same dilemma. If you have any question please feel free to ask/ or share your own experience. I'll explain what led me to do this and I hope it isn't too rambling. I have been taking Zoloft since 2011 and just recently have been told that manufacturing of the drug has ceased until Jan 2016. I don't know about the rest of the world but in Australia it has become like something out of Mad Max, with people trying to track down the last supplies. I tried the generic brand which I have been told is exactly the same. But after a month of this I began feeling more depressed/ sad than I ever have and began suffering from insomnia and blurred vision. The last straw for me was when I told my doctor of these changes and all I got in return was a cocky-bullshit answer that I must be imagining these changes. ''Yeah, well doc, I don't really want to imagine wanting to killing myself everyday, so politely go fuck yourself''. So I tried tappering off them from 100mg to 25mg (maybe to steep) and started noticing the withdrawals after a day. After a few days of this I stopped them completely and the dizziness became a constant thing. Week 2 brought with it the numbness and brain zaps. With week 3 came the insomnia/ aching joints. At about a month of stopping nearly all the signs have gone away. I may notice the dizziness if I move or look too quickly but you get used to doing things slow. So this video is just me telling you the withdrawal symptoms I experienced. It is not advised to just completely stop any antidepressant but I figured I was worse on the generic so I wanted to stop more than anything. I want to try and see what I am normal for a few months. The most important thing is being in the right headspace to do such a thing. Only try and go off them if you think you are ready. In my situation I have realised that most of the time if I feel anxious it is because of my surroundings and not what is going on in my head. Also avoid people who make you feel terrible. The world is made up of mainly idiots so it is more likely they have a problem and you don't. At least you have made the steps to help yourself. If I ever relapse into really bad depression/anxiety like I know that I can always go back on Zoloft. By then I think Pfizer would have mined the ''missing ingredients'' they need to make Zoloft from Mars.

💪⚡ Try Online Counseling: http://tryonlinetherapy.com/johnniejune If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other mental illness consider online counseling with a licensed professional at BetterHelp. It’s far cheaper and more convenient than in-person counseling. Believe me, you are worth it. Depression and anxiety are two things that I have dealt with for most of my (almost) 22 years. However, after many tries, I found the right antidepressant for me....Zoloft! Comment below if you have ever used Zoloft [Sertraline] and let me know how it affected you.

I was prescribed Paxil about 6.5-7 months ago. Regardless of what the doctor had told me, there are side effects and they are not pleasant. Since beginning Paxil, I had decided to get off of this drug and so far not so good. I do not feel that my problems warranted this prescription and I was ignorant and naïve and now ... I am so filled with rage over the makers of this poison and the doctors that hand it out like candy.

http://bodyhealthsoul.com/ | Common Methods of Depression Treatment-With their Side-Effects and Possible Withdrawal Symptoms Alright, we previously just went through the “Definition” of depression from the 2 sides of the Medical Fraternity. One side saying it’s a chemical imbalance and a ‘mental disorder’ and the other side saying (which I tend to agree with) that Depression is an emotional encumbrance as a result of external factors. But, let’s go over the common methods of treating depression, from the medical standpoint AND their alleged side effects. Folks, the usual method for dealing with depression is often times prescription meds or drugs, but like I have stated in several of my videos, MOST forms of medication do not deal with the ROOT CAUSE OF AN ISSUE but more so the SYMPTOMS. So what happens is a patient often times has to depend on medication for a long period of time. So, who really is profiting from this whole chain of events? Obviously it’s the maker of the drugs! IN FACT if you go to the website of one of the popular anti-depressant drugs, whose name I’m withholding for legal reasons it says: What is the most important information I should know about THIS PARTICULAR ANTI-DEPRESSANT® The response is-THIS DRUG and other antidepressant medicines may cause serious side effects, including: Suicidal thoughts or actions: THIS DRUG and other antidepressant medicines may increase suicidal thoughts or actions in some children, teenagers, or young adults within the first few months of treatment or when the dose is changed. So, in other words, what I am gathering from this is the side-effects of some of these popular anti-depressants are actually the same symptoms of depression! How contradictory and odd is that. Then, when some people are actually made aware of some of the side effects of these drugs, they panic naturally (like they should) and want to STOP using these drugs. But this leads to withdrawal symptoms. Well, let’s discuss this more in this video shall we? Get it in: http://bit.ly/2JFtJdj Destroy Depression Review - Does It Really Work? Treatments for Depression Depression is a mental disorder which affects about 350 million people worldwide. Its symptoms include, but are not limited to; Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, loss of interest in daily activities, appetite or weight changes, insomnia or oversleeping, anger or irritability, loss of energy, self-loathing, reckless behavior, concentration problems, unexplained aches and pains and also suicidal thoughts.. Current popular treatments for depression include antidepressant medications and talk therapy such as counselling or psychotherapy. Unfortunately, these treatments have many drawbacks. AD medication is associated with a high risk of side effects and a low success rate, while therapy sessions are notoriously expensive, and often unaffordable or unobtainable for most people. Medical Treatments Medication for depression comes in the form of antidepressants. There are typically 4 classes of AD medication, SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), atypical antidepressants, tricyclics antidepressants and MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors). The SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) are the most commonly prescribed class of antidepressants. They act on a chemical in the brain called serotonin. The SSRIs include drugs such as Prozac, Zoloft, and Paxil. SSRIs are preferred over older classes of antidepressants because their adverse effects are less severe, however, like all antidepressants, SSRIs can cause an increase in suicidal thoughts and behaviors. They also carry a risk for increased hostility, agitation, and anxiety. In adults 65 and older, SSRIs increase the risk for falls, fractures, and bone loss. SSRIs can also cause severe withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking them abruptly. Atypical antidepressants are a variety of newer atypical antidepressants which target other neurotransmitters either alone or in addition to serotonin. For example, Wellbutrin blocks the reabsorption of the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine, while trazodone affects both norepinephrine and serotonin. Again, as with all antidepressant medication, there are many possible side effects. Tricyclics are among the oldest antidepressants. They work by inhibiting the brain’s reuptake or serotonin and norepinephrine. They also partially inhibit the reabsorption of dopamine. Because tricyclics have such a broad mechanism of action, they tend to cause more side effects than the other classes of antidepressants. For this reason, the SSRIs and the atypical antidepressants are usually prescribed first. Again, side effects are usual and severe withdrawal symptoms are often the case if you stop taking them abruptly. MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) are the oldest class of antidepressants. MAOIs have severe interactions with certain foods, drinks, and medications. Combining MAO inhibitors with foods or drinks containing tyramine can result in dangerously high blood pressure, which can lead to a stroke or heart attack. Because of this danger, MAOIs are not typically chosen as a first-line depression treatment. As is usually the case with medication, antidepressants cannot cure depression. At best, they will lessen the symptoms of depression. However, success rates are notoriously low, not much better than a placebo in most cases, while the risk of side effects is extremely high. This is the reason many people in the medical industry refer to antidepressants as “sugar pills with side effects”. A Better, Safer Option Although very few doctors or medical professionals will know or tell you about it (there is too much money involved in conventional treatment methods), you can actually cure yourself of depression using only CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) techniques combined with some dietary and lifestyle changes. Indeed in the past, a number of doctors and scientists had reported such successes in medical journals, but this research is now kept hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. 👉Please subscribe: https://goo.gl/MsQLAV ▶ Follow my social media: 👉Facebook: https://goo.gl/iC2S83 👉Blogger: https://goo.gl/6t7GaT 👉Google +: https://goo.gl/dYULVY 👉Twiter: https://goo.gl/skNH4W 👉Pinterest: https://goo.gl/SD6oqD Tags: depression treatment, Destroy Depression review, how to beat depression, how to destroy depression, can depression destroy love, can depression be cured, natural depression cures, how to cure depression, natural cures for depression, how to treat depression, natural cure for depression, how to deal with depression, natural remedies for depression, treating depression naturally, how to fight depression, natural cures, tp68

I was prescribed Seroquel for Anxiety as well as a possible mood disorder. I had HORRIBLE side effects from Seroquel. I gained over 10 pounds in a week, felt like I had the flu constantly, had horrible headaches, felt like my blood sugar was out of whack, super sleepy but couldn't sleep still, joint pain and swelling, and numbness with tingling in my feet. Then, I woke up to find my face swollen along with 3+ pitting edema in both legs. The Doctor had me stop the Seroquel instantly without weaning down and didn't have me on anything for 3.5 weeks. I felt crazier than I have ever felt in my entire life. I keep on fighting and I know that any of you going through any sort of mental illness can do so too!
