I'm new to pill cutters and I wanted to cut one in quarters! I could do this better and faster if I wasn't being videoed! It would not be difficult to line up two 1/2 pills and cut them. Probably easier to do with the tip of a knife instead of an index finger! Anyway, I'm pleased with the CVS pill cutter and the deal they gave me. 20% off with a coupon! $6.08 total.

A look at a Pill Cutter. I got one the other day and used it to cut one type of pill (Carvedilol). The pill cutters I saw cost less than $10 and the one I got seemed to work OK. Talk to your doctor before you decide to change your medication. Also, it appears you should not cut an enteric-coated tablet. Amazon Pill Cutter: http://amzn.to/1LNl3yA Update: Pinned by Jim Howard "Chris Comley Enteric coatings stop the pill being dissolved in the stomach, so it survives to dissolve later in the gut. If you damage the coating, it'll dissolve in the stomach, which, for these pills, either stops them working, or can be dangerous."
