Would you like to know how to use coconut oil for weight loss? Coconut Oil is a medium chain fatty acid. It is comprised mostly of saturated fats. Most people go running for the hills when they hear saturated fats. This is mostly due to the lipid hypothesis, which is out of date and has been disputed again and again. Coconut oil is not dangerous for your health especially for your heart health. There are different types of cholesterol out there that effect the health of your heart. Everyday they learn more and more and bounce back and forth between demonizing carbs to demonizing fats. All that we need to know is that coconut oil helps increase your HDL or high density lipoprotein production. HDL is the good cholesterol responsible for escorting LDL (the bad cholesterol that can clog arteries) out of your body. With so many people avoiding fat I have to make it clear that fat does not make you fat. In fact carbs are a lot more likely to make you fat than any other macronutrient. Not that I am saying carbs are bad because they are not. Fat and coconut oil is necessary for normal brain function, your joints, and producing hormones. If your hormones get out of wack because you're not eating enough fat you will definitely not be losing any weight. Coconut oil and weight loss is a much better option than no fat and no weight loss. The list of benefits from coconut oil go on and on. Some of my favorite are increase energy, faster recovery time, increased sex drive, and better regulated metabolism. Digestive health is critical for weight loss, and coconut oil helps with digestive disorders as well. This will directly impact your metabolism. If you have seen my other videos you know how much I preach about the importance of having a good metabolism when it comes to weight loss. The most popular form of weight loss oil on the market today seems to be olive oil followed by peanut oils and butters. The problem with this is that they are comprised of monounsaturated fats, which isn't necessarily the best option for avoiding weight gain. Our bodies fat stores are mostly monounsaturated fat, which makes it a little counter productive to be trying to lose weight by eating the form of fat that our bodies like to store the most. Have 1-2 Tablespoons of coconut oil for weight loss. Have 1-2 Tbs daily. Although almost anytime is a good time for coconut oil, breakfast and before bed are the best times of the day to have coconut oil. One of the most common assumptions about the vegan lifestyle is that a strict plant-based diet will lead to easy weight loss. Lots of people become vegan for this reason alone. I get it. When I first became interested in eating "healthy" it was because I was dealing with body image issues, and wanted to 1) lose weight, and 2) not feel guilty after I ate. But this video is about more than what you should eat to lose weight––though I'll talk about that. It's about the fact that veganism isn't a diet or an quick fix, but an incredibly rewarding lifestyle. Eating a whole food vegan diet will help you achieve your optimal weight, but it will also help you be your healthiest, most vibrant self. By eating a whole food vegan diet (for me that includes 80% unprocessed wholesome foods, and 20% refined vegan items), I have been able to achieve and effortlessly maintain my natural weight/size while keeping up a very moderate exercise routine, and just staying active by walking, commuting on my bike, and practicing yoga (rarely vigorous) each day. Whatever your journey to an optimal weight, energy, and vibrancy, I believe that you can find it by adopting a vegan lifestyle. Remember, being thin doesn't mean you're healthy or happy; and being overweight does not mean you're unhealthy or unhappy. Health, happiness, and satisfaction come from your life choices, not from your plate, the scale, or the size on your clothing. Going vegan is so much more than a diet. So today I want to go over the 10 most effective exercises for weight loss that you could do right in your own living room. The exercises that i go over today require no equipment and the reason why theyre more effective than others is because they're going to work mulriple joints and muscle groups at the same time and theyre gonna get your heart rate and your breathing rate up way up. You can combine all of these exercises into one workout simply by using on and off intervals. The training style that I recommend for this type of workout is short intervals. 20 seconds on and then ten seconds off then repeat each exercise for 8 rounds before taking a minute break and moving on to the next. Training in a high intensity way like this will allow you to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. Before I jump into the first one I do have to State the obvious and that's the fact that if you want to lose weight or burn fat you do have to make sure that you're keeping it clean in the kitchen as well. These arent magical exercises that was somehow counterbalance eating junk everyday. But by doing this work out a couple times a week and watching what you eat I'm sure that anyone can lose weight and body fat with these exercises. Let's start with number 1. its a combination of jumping jacks and burpees. Burpees are by far one of the most effective exercises to get your heart rate up while also working your upper and your lower body. Most people know how to do a jumping jack start standing straight up then jump your feet out and raise your arms over your head and you're going to do that 5 times. Then you would perform the burpee by bending your back and lowering yourself down to the ground. As you place your hands on the floor. Next you're going to jump your feet out and get into a push-up position lower yourself down for the push-up then hop your feet back in and jump up. If this is too advanced for you you can walk your feet out one foot at a time instead of hoping. Regardless of whether you're a beginner or advanced the sequence is five jumping jacks one Burpee 5 jumping jacks one Burpee back and forth. Next we have the mountain climber sit through drill. For this one you're going to perform 4 mountain climbers for every two sit throughs. Most people know how to do mountain climbers. These are the same mountain climbers that you've probably done in gym class. Every time that you hop one of your knees up to your chest it counts as one. So you shuffle your feet 4 times and then you do 2 sit throughs. The sit through is done by starting in a pushup postion then lifting one hand off the ground and your opposite leg off the ground. Bring your hand up to your head and kick your opposite leg through as you turn your hips and your body enough for your butt to barely tap the ground. Then return back to the pushup position and repeat for the other side. Once you're done with those 2 sit throughs go right back to mountain climbers. Next is the plyo step up. This one is not only great for your footwork, balance, and coordination, but it's also a great exercise to burn a bunch of calories. All you need is a step below knee level. You can use a low chair or even the bottom stair ledge in your house. Start with one foot on the platform, put your weight on that foot & jump up as you switch your feet. Do this back & forth repeating for the full time. I know it doesn't look like much, but like I said you will be breathing heavy after doing this one for 20 seconds straight & especially after eight rounds. If you have knee problems & can't jump up & down you can just alternate stepping up side to side. Moving on to exercise number four the spider man pushup. This one does require a lot of upper body strength so if you're a beginner just stick to regular pushups or you can also do pushups on your knees if regular pushups are too hard. The key with all of these exercises is to perform the exercise in the most intense way that you can & then regress as it gets harder. So you can start by doing a couple reps of the spiderman pushups & then when it gets too hard do regular pushups & finally when you start to fail & give out with those you can drop to your knees for a few more forced reps. But the spider man pushup is done by simply starting in a pushup position & then as you come down for a pushup bring one knee up to your elbow.

It is Very healthy & Tasty Recipe for Ven Pongal: Ingredients: 1 cup Rice 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal (Split) Salt, to taste Tempering: 2 tablespoons Ghee 1 teaspoon Cumin (Jeera) seeds 1 inch Ginger, grated 1 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns, coarsely pounded 1 sprig Curry leaves To begin making the Ven Pongal Recipe; we will first cook the rice and lentils in the pressure cooker. Heat the cooker on medium heat, add a tablespoon of ghee. Add the washed moong dal and roast the dal in the ghee for about a minute. Once the dal is roasted, add the rice, salt and 5 cups of water. Cover the pressure cooker, place the weight on and cook until you hear a whistle. After the first whistle, turn the heat to low and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. After 3 to 4 minutes, turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally. While the pressure is releasing, heat a tablespoon of ghee in a small pan, add in the cashew nuts and roast on low heat until lightly browned. Next add in a teaspoon of cumin seeds, 2 teaspoons of pounded black pepper, a tablespoon of grated ginger, the roughly torn curry leaves. Turn off the heat and stir all the ingredients in the remaining heat. Once the pressure has released from the cooker, we will add the prepared seasoning into the rice. Stir the seasoning into the rice until well Stir the prepared seasoning and an additional 2 to 3 tablespoons of ghee into the rice. Stir until all the ingredients and the ghee are well combined into the Ven Pongal. Spoon the Ven Pongal onto a rounded cup and press the rice in. Invert the cup onto a plate you voila you get a cup of Ven Pongal on your platter. Pick a cashew piece from the Pongal and place on the top to decorate.
