7 Foods to Avoid if You Have Spring Allergies

02:16
7 Foods to Avoid if You Have Spring Allergies 1. Tomatoes Sadly, these delicious salad staples may be causing you to have allergy reactions (to grass pollens) including a tingly throat, mouth dryness and scratchiness, and itchy or watery eyes, according to the Mother Nature Network. This is because tomatoes, among other fruits and vegetables, may trigger reactions in grass pollen-sensitive individuals. The network explains that in spring (and fall) in particular, your body’s immune system “recognizes and essentially mistakes a plant protein in the food for pollen.” .2. Bananas What has often been referred to as earth’s “perfect food” may not be so perfect if you have weed allergies. The Mother Nature Network also notes that some fruits can adversely affect weed pollen-sensitive people, especially those who suffer from ragweed allergies. Bananas are on the source’s list of fruits and veggies that can trigger an Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). It shouldn’t take long to determine if you have an allergy to a particular fruit. Symptoms should become apparent within a half-hour, noted the site. 3. Yogurt Livestrong.com points out that excess mucus is often a problem that comes with seasonal allergies, and that dairy foods like yogurt can make the problem even worse. The health site notes that yogurt can cause the mucus in your system to thicken, impeding its journey from your body. When mucus, which is meant to clear your body of foreign substances, is slowed, it doesn’t remove allergens from your system as quickly or effectively as it should, adds Livestrong. 4. Mushrooms You night be reading the word “antihistamine” on every box of allergy medication, and are wondering what the heck it actually means. Histamines are produced by your body and are also present in foods, and they can trigger certain allergic responses, especially if you have mold sensitivity. Livestrong.com also points out how mushrooms (themselves a fungus) can promote histamine growth, leading to sneezing fits and general misery. Maybe skip ordering mushrooms on your next pizza, as our suggestion. 5. Beer or Wine Wine and beer have not been spared from the allergy culprit list, either. If you’re already a seasonal allergy sufferer, the New York Times has concluded that alcohol consumption can make your symptoms worse. It notes that beer and wine contain histamines, which are present due to the fermentation process involved with making alcoholic beverages. Wine and beer in particular also contain sulfites, which have also been traced to allergic reactions and asthma, according to the article. 6. Spicy Foods EverydayHealth.com suggests staying away from spicy-hot foods when pollen season is in full swing. The spicy foods encourage an “outpouring of histamine” that combine with histamine from your seasonal allergies for the perfect storm of symptoms. This is not to say that all allergy sufferers must avoid spicy foods, notes the website. You may be able to get away with that extra spicy burrito, for example. However, if you already notice a bit of a sniffle, it’s probably best to ask for the mild versions of your favorite foods for a while. 7. Raw Foods If you were thinking of starting a raw “Paleo” food diet this spring, you may want to reconsider if you’re an allergy sufferer. Several online sources point to uncooked foods as having worse allergy triggers than cooked foods, due to pesticides and other food impurities. This goes for snacks as well. You may not want to just grab an apple and go, unless you thoroughly wash it or make it into something else like applesauce or apple pie that requires heat. The suffering may outweigh any benefits you get from the diet. Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about post-nasal drip. There are 2 different situations (1) post nasal drip which occurs all year around and (2) seasonal post nasal drip. POST-NASAL DRIP - ALL YEAR AROUND *Take oregano oil -you need to add this in a netti pot In this video I did before - I use garlic - now I am recommending adding oregano oil to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNM_N... POST-NASAL DRIP - SEASONAL *Take a version of vitamin C (calcium ascorbate with bioflavinoids) to break down histamines to help clear out mucus. It's possible it could be related to acid reflux or GERD, however, it is another symptom of low stomach acid. When the body loses acid, the pH shift to alkalosis, a condition that supports allergies and sinus problems. Apple cider vinegar is another remedy for this. 6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer

07:27
6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer: 1. Sore throat A sore throat is rarely worth worrying about — after all, it can be caused by a range of fairly harmless afflictions, from over-exerting the voice muscles to seasonal allergies to the common cold. Generally speaking, a sore throat is either very temporary or just the first sign that a head cold is setting in. However, a sore throat could indicate that an individual is developing throat cancer. While it can be difficult to distinguish between a common cold and throat cancer, in the latter case the pain will not go away after a few days or even weeks. In essence, if you develop a painful sore throat without any of the other symptoms of a head cold, and the sore throat doesn’t go away after a week or so, then it may be time to speak to a doctor about a thorough examination. 2. Mouth pain Like many of the other symptoms on this list, mouth pain doesn’t necessarily mean there’s anything to worry about. After all, it can be caused by many things, from burning your tongue on hot food to using a new toothbrush. Of course, mouth pain can also be the result of poor oral hygiene, such as failing to brush, floss or rinse on a regular basis. But this pain should subside in time, particularly if the afflicted individual is taking care with their oral hygiene. And there are other indicators that something more serious is up, including red and white patches on the gums, tongue, or mouth lining. Bleeding gums and pain in the jaw could also be indicators that the mouth pain one is feeling is more serious and could be linked to head and neck cancer. If you experience a few of these symptoms, or your mouth pain doesn’t subside after a few days, it would be wise to speak with your doctor and/or dentist about the issue. 3. Difficulty talking Anyone with a serious throat infection or bad head cold will tell you that these relatively harmless afflictions can make it rather difficult to speak. Colds and infections of the throat can make it difficult. In most cases this pain will subside after a few days or a week or two. If the pain lasts, however, it could be a sign that there is a more serious problem affecting the throat, including the pharynx. Persistent pain in the throat making it difficult to speak should be considered serious and should be followed by a thorough examination by a physician to rule out throat cancer. 4. Trouble swallowing There are a few health conditions that can make it difficult to swallow, including moderately serious issues like strep throat. But even the common cold can present an individual with a sore throat that makes it difficult to swallow. However, if this pain persists — and there are none of the other symptoms that accompany the typical head cold, such as a cough and stuffy nose — then it’s a good idea to visit a doctor to determine the cause of the issue. It could simply be irritated as a result of an infection or seasonal allergies, but it may also be linked to throat cancer. If it’s the latter, it’s better to catch the problem early, thereby giving medical specialists more time to fight the disease. 5. Sinus pain Sinus pain is most often associated with seasonal allergies or the common cold. However, it can also be the result of structural issues affecting the nose and sinuses; in other words, if there are blockages in the nose, it could lead to plugged sinuses that don’t clear and lead to significant sinus pain and headaches. Additionally, dryness can cause the nose to feel stuffy and may even result in nose bleeds. The onset of sinus pain should be met with a visit to a physician who can help you determine if the problem is related to allergies, blockages, general dryness, or something more serious, such as nose cancer. If the problem does not respond to medications, such as antibiotics, then there’s an increased chance that it is a more serious issue. 6. Pain or numbness caused by inflammation The emergence of cancer in the head and neck area can lead to significant inflammation. If there’s a serious problem developing, an individual may notice swelling in their jaw or in the area just below their chin. The feeling of swelling — which is often accompanied by pain — in this part of the head could be the result of cancer emerging in the salivary glands. Inflammation resulting from the development of head and neck cancer can also lead to feelings of numbness or paralysis in the face muscles; this can also be accompanied by pain. If this pain lasts for more than a few days, it’s crucial the individual contact their physician right away to carry out an examination of the head and neck area.

Oral Allergy Syndrome - Allergy FAQs

Has your mouth ever felt itchy when eating fresh fruits, vegetables, or nuts? It could be oral allergy syndrome. It's not a food allergy, but a cross-reaction to tree, grass, or weed allergies you already have. Dr. Hamsa Subramanian of Signature Allergy and Immunology explains oral allergy syndrome and how allergists test for it. https://www.signaturemedicalgroup.com/practice/signature-allergy-immunology/
Allergy Relief - Natural Anti-Histamine, Reduce Hypersensitivity, Prevention, Balance Immunity

21:01
Allergy symptoms occur when your immune system overreacts to something that is harmless to most people but triggers a reaction in anyone sensitive to it. This substance is known as an allergen. Allergies can be seasonal (worsening during certain times of the year, such as pollen allergies in the spring) or perennial (occurring year-round). Common allergens include weed or grass pollen, dust mites, animal dander, mold, insect stings and a variety of food types, such as eggs, shellfish, nuts and grains. If you come in contact with something to which you are allergic, your immune system considers it dangerous and releases a chemical called histamine to counteract it. The release of histamine can cause a variety of symptoms, including a skin rash, headache, sneezing, runny nose, swelling, nausea and diarrhea. The most severe reaction, known as anaphylaxis, can be life-threatening. If the allergen is something you breathe in, your reaction will most likely affect your eyes, nose and lungs. If the allergen is something you consume, you’re more likely to have symptoms in your mouth, stomach and intestines. *In the process of updating descriptions, please be patient* Website: https://www.anthonysommer.com FAQ: https://www.anthonysommer.com/faq Blog: https://www.anthonysommer.com/blog Support: https://www.anthonysommer.com/support New channel: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_HXbh3A1FlBDMCBsfQTM8Q?sub_confirmation=1 Links: (http://acaai.org/allergies)

Sinus Infections: Symptoms may be more than just allergies

02:20
CINCINNATI (Liz Bonis) -- It's hard not to find someone coughing and sneezing during this time of year and if people have had allergies it might just be an extension of the symptoms but then again, it might not. Ear, nose and throat specialists at UC Health said some of the symptoms of allergies are turning into a bad respiratory infection and people need to get the right treatment to feel better. With certain seasonal plants still in bloom if people have sinus congestion or coughing it could be allergies. However, it could be that those allergy symptoms have sort of set in or migrated to become something else this time of year. Dr. Allen Seiden of UC Health said, Even if it began as an allergic problem, allergies can cause congestion, block the sinuses which can lead to a bacterial infection. So often times it needs to be treated before it will resolve. Those symptoms can vary but they tend to start in the nose and sort of move into the chest area. But Dr. Seiden said the most important thing people may want to pay attention to right now is how long they last. Typically a cold should last for at the most 10 days. So at five days, you should turn a corner at five days and by 10 days it should be gone. If you are symptomatic 10 days then that's a good indication it's gone into something more severe, said Dr. Seiden. Severe infections tend to be bacterial which may need antibiotics for treatment. According to Dr. Seiden and his team of ear, nose and throat specialists, You also need various decongestants treatments to try and get the respiratory tract open. So the sinuses can drain and the infection can resolve. If people have been hacking and coughing up crud longer than 10 days don't just say, I am getting over a cold. The big danger is that people are also heading into flu season so they don't want to be sick and rundown from another infection. Flu hits suddenly, this is more like a lingering infection so people have likely been feeling lousy for a while. Follow Liz Bonis on Twitter @lbonis1, and LIKE her on Facebook. Causes of Recurring Dry Cough - Dr. Sreenivasa Murthy T M

03:16
Dry cough is more frequent in adults rather than in children. Dry cough which keeps recurring needs to be investigated on few fronts. The common causes of dry cough which keeps recurring are subclinical Sinusitis that is Sinusitis which is not very evident in the form of nose block, running nose, headache, but the present purely with dry cough mainly due to what is called as a post nasal drip, that is the secretions vichar from the sinuses day trip along the floor of the Sinus into the throat and irritate the throat ans hence cause dry cough. And this gets accentuated or worsen when the patient lies down because in that position the Trickle becomes a little bit more than when they are in there are in up right positions. The Other causes of dry cough which can recover very early forms of bronchial asthma for a week or somebody who has an allergy can have a broncos pason every now and then and they can have dry cough. This typically present early in the morning for a late in the evening and is quite common in a city like Bangalore where allergies are quite common and is very prevalent. the other causes of dry cough can be what is called as the tropical eosinophilia now if somebody presence was with more than 15 days or 3 weeks of cough we do recommend that you get a blood test done mainly to rule out this particular entity, which is a very common in a country like India which is secondary to certain worm infestations. Now the most common cause of dry cough that encounter in my practice in the age group of a between 25 and 40 years of age is because of a condition called as Acid Reflux, today's world most people they work in very stressed out environments, they get up very early in the morning go to sleep very late in the night and have a very hectic life schedule. So they don't send to eat food which is from home but tend to eat outside food like junk food, tend to eat whatever food is available to them at that point of time. Now this along with a hectic life schedule as well as stress can precipitate what is called gastroesophageal Reflux disease in people and when this happened as it turns to come up to the throat irritate the junction of the food Pipe and the windpipe and then result in dry cough.
Cure Allergic Rhinitis, Hay Fever, Nasal Congestion For Good😊With These Simple Home Remedies

07:00
Allergic rhinitis is a common condition, affecting an estimated 10 to 20% of the US population. It is a type of allergic reaction that happens when your immune system overreacts to inhaled substances and the body releases chemicals that cause allergy symptoms. Common allergens that can cause allergic rhinitis are tree and grass pollen. Other allergens include dust mites present in bedding, mold spores in the air and pet dander. There are two types of allergic rhinitis –seasonal (known as hay fever) and perennial that occurs year-round. Symptoms include repeated sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, nasal congestion and watery or swollen eyes. It can also give rise to symptoms like sore throat, dry cough, headaches, fatigue, weakness and dark circles under the eyes. Allergic rhinitis symptoms can affect the quality of life of the sufferers. To reduce symptoms, you can use some natural home remedies that are inexpensive and effective. Here are some home remedies for allergic rhinitis. 1. Saline Water One of the first steps to treat allergic rhinitis is to remove mucus from the nose with the help of a saline nasal wash. 1. Mix 1 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of baking soda in 2 cups of warm distilled water. 2. Using a nasal bulb, snort a small amount of this solution into one nostril. 3. Allow the solution to drain back out through the other nostril or through the mouth. 4. Gently blow your nose to remove excess mucus and solution. 5. Follow this same process with the other nostril. 6. Repeat this remedy a couple of times daily until your condition improves. 2. Steam Inhaling steam on a regular basis will help clear the nasal passages of excess mucus and any irritants. This in turn will help get rid of allergic rhinitis symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose and sore throat. 1. Pour boiling water in a big bowl. 2. Add 3 or 4 drops of any essential oil of your choice like eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary or tea tree oil. 3. Cover your head with a towel and lean carefully over the bowl. 4. Deeply inhale the steam for 5 to 10 minutes, then blow your nose thoroughly. 5. Repeat several times a day until you recover completely. 3. Ginger Ginger is another useful home remedy for allergic rhinitis. It works as a natural antihistamine and has antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties that help relieve rhinitis symptoms like nasal congestion, runny nose, cough and even headache. • Add 1 tablespoon of grated ginger, a few cloves and a small piece of cinnamon to 1 cup of water. Boil for 5 minutes, strain and add a little honey and lemon juice. Drink this herbal tea up to 3 times daily during the allergy season. • Also, chew small pieces of fresh ginger several times a day as well as include ginger in your cooking. 4. Turmeric To reduce the risk of any kind of allergy, turmeric is a good consideration. It is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent with immune-boosting properties. It can help reduce symptoms of allergic rhinitis like congestion, cough, dry mouth and sneezing. • Prepare a mixture with 6 tablespoons each of turmeric powder and raw honey. Mix well and store it in an air-tight container. Have 1 teaspoon of this mixture 2 times daily during the allergy season. • Alternatively, drink 1 glass of warm turmeric milk daily to keep your immune system strong. • You can also use turmeric in your cooking or take turmeric supplements after consulting a doctor. 5. Garlic Garlic contains quercetin, a natural antihistamine that can be very effective in treating allergic rhinitis. Plus, garlic has antibiotic, antibacterial, antiviral and immune-boosting properties that promote quick recovery. • Chew 2 to 3 raw garlic cloves daily to combat the various symptoms of allergic rhinitis. • Also include garlic powder or raw garlic in your day-to-day cooking • People with a history of allergies can benefit from taking a garlic supplement daily during the allergy season. How to manage sneezing, sore throat, breathlessness & eye itching? - Dr. Satish Babu K

07:58
This is called as the allergic triad where the person is allergic to dust or any chmeiocal.in the nose, producing allergic rhinitis, In the skin or the eyes producing allergic dermatitis, in the wind pipe or the bronchus or trachea producing allergic bronchitis which mimicking asthma. This allergic triad is common nowadays giving to the increased pollution levels. Lot of us are succumbing to this problem. a lot of us end you with sneezing, running, nose blocked nose, sometimes leading to headaches, eye itching, redness in the eyes, constant watering from the eyes, and breathlessness if it spreads to the windpipe, tightness in the chest, dry cough. The treatment lifestyle changes and medical treatment. Lifestyle changes is by preventing the dust from contacting your tissues. So how to minimize dust or pollution? Maximum dust exposure is there when you travel in an open vehicle. So if you have to travel for long distances and day to day, it is preferable that you wear a mask, a dust filtering mask or tie a scarf around your nose and mouth, o that the air you inhale is filtered. keeping your environment clean also helps, also changing you bed spreads and pillow covers on a regular basis and vacuuming your room or house regularly as sweeping will throw the dust in the air and increase the symptoms. prevent moisture if there is good cross ventilation, there is less chances of moisture and fungus and dust mites and those kind of infections happening ad that will help in reducing the symptoms. if some people are allergic to animal products lie hair or dander or droppings , if you are aware of it, then you can avoid it. Having a lot of liquids daily and exercises will help in improving the infection score. coming to the medical treatment, there are anti-allergic type of medicines like cetirizine, but the effect is only for a short period, depending on the duration ,that is 24 hours or 36 hours, that you will be symptom free. So these medicines are required on a regular basis during some seasons, allergic seasons. Other commonly used medicines in allergy are some form of steroids. These medicines when used in a small quantity are useful in alleviating the symptoms in the long run. There are some other forms of treatment called immunotherapy where we do allergic testing by skin prick test and blood tests the over a period of one and a half to 2 years then the same allergens are injected or introduced into the body as a slow process. Initially starting with minute quantities and slowly increasing it .So that you are desensitizing the body the those chemical s that you reacting earlier. This log and a painful process. So of you are allergic to 4 or 5 allergens, then you can get a specific long term relief. Surgery cam help in those cases where the medicines are not effective and giving you a better quality of life. Go exercises and a lot of liquid intake, and breathing exercises like nowadays people practice pranayama, sooryanamaskaram etc are practiced to reduce the severity of the allergic reaction. There is also one thing which is found to be useful is saline washing of the nasal cavity. What I practiced earlier is yoga called as jalneethi, where they take little salt water and sniff it into the nostril and blow your nose or use some saline sprays and cleans your nose day to day , then you are removing the deposited dust and hence the severity of infection is much lesser . So besides medicines you have to follow lifestyle changes for you to have a long standing relief and reduces the medicines and quality of life becomes better because symptoms are lesser.
6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer

Like, Comment, Subscribe and invite all your friends to see our videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUOF1_1_fY50PVN0TtItbDQ?sub_confirmation=1 6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer: 1. 6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer By styh

6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer

05:41
6 Symptoms of Head and Neck Cancer 1. See Our Another Vedeos: 1.
