7 Best supplements that will clean your arteries naturally at home

04:06
7 Best supplements that will clean your arteries naturally at home : Heart attacks are caused by the blood supply to the heart being suddenly interrupted. Without this supply, heart muscles may be damaged and begin to die. fatty deposits called plaque buildup in your arteries, they can narrow the vessels and raise your risk of atherosclerosis and heart disease. Several supplements are available that, over time, might help dissolve plaque and improve the function of your arteries, lowering your risk of chronic circulatory problems. Here are 7supplements that can help you unclog your arteries 1. Take fish oil supplements. If you don’t like fish or don’t have access to fish, you can simply take fish oil supplements to help get omega-3 fats. Look for fish oils that contain EPA and DHA oils. Although you might expect consuming fat to increase arterial plaque, omega-3 fatty acids may help slow plaque deposition and, over time, reduce its amount, according to experts at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Consuming supplements containing these unsaturated, healthy fatty acids can lower levels of blood triglycerides while raising levels of HDL, helping to keep your blood cholesterol in a healthy range. They may also help prevent inflammation of the arterial lining and reduce the risk of blood clots, both of which promote plaque deposits. 2. Take psyllium supplements. If you have difficulty getting enough fiber from foods, you can take psyllium supplements. Psyllium is a water-soluble fiber available in pill and powder forms. 3. Increase soy protein through supplements. Soy proteins are commonly available as powders that you can mix into a variety of foods and beverages (juices, smoothies, etc.). Several studies have shown that soy protein supplementation can have a beneficial effect on your cholesterol levels. 4. Take niacin supplements. You can also take niacin (vitamin B3) to help lower cholesterol levels. However, talk to your physician and monitor niacin supplementation closely. Common side effects at high doses include: • Flushing of the skin • Stomach upset • Headaches • Dizziness • Blurred vision • Increased risk of liver damage 5. Garlic Supplement. Garlic isn't just a culinary herb but is also a useful supplement if you're concerned about arterial plaque and atherosclerosis, according to evidence summarized at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Garlic contains a compound that's converted into allicin when cloves are crushed. Allicin could help lower blood levels of cholesterol by suppressing a liver enzyme that makes cholesterol. This eventually reduces plaque so You can simply add more fresh garlic to your food or take garlic supplements if you don’t enjoy garlic in foods. 6. Take plant sterol supplements. Beta-sitosterol and sitostanol are two additional supplements that may have a positive impact on cholesterol. You can find these options in supplement form at most vitamin shops or health food stores. 7. Take coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ-10) supplements. CoQ-10 is an essential nutrient used to treat a variety of heart and blood vessel conditions. It can also counteract muscle pain resulting from other cholesterol-lowering medications called “statins.” Consider taking CoQ-10 if your doctor has prescribed one of these medications. check out my other similar videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFE8MFBZURI 😍 15 Foods That Unclog Arteries Naturally And Protect Against Heart Attack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-yVQyl2k4s 😍 7 Lifestyle Changes That Will Clean Your Arteries Naturally And Protect You From Heart Attack NOTE: The materials and the information contained onNatural ways channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. » Best Supplements For Removing Calcium Deposits On Arteries

04:10
How I quickly improved my dad’s blood flow and circulation in only 30 days - NO drugs or diets! ►► http://drsam.co/yt/CleanYourArteriesNaturally =============================================== Best Herbs, Vitamins and Supplements For Removing Calcium Deposits & Plaque Buildup From Your Arteries =============================================== When attempting to remove calcium deposits from the arteries, most people mistakenly stop taking calcium supplements. This is wrong and counterproductive because calcium has many benefits and it’s a very important mineral, especially in your BONES… But NOT in your arteries and heart. In fact, calcium deposits and plaque buildup is a sign of early aging. So you really need to be proactive and reverse and remove calcium and plaque buildup For anti-aging purposes For improved blood flow and circulation To help reduce your risk of a heart attack or stroke. And the good news is that no matter how old you are or how “bad” things may seem in your arteries, you can DEFINITELY help reverse and remove calcium and plaque buildup… quickly and easily. And the best part is you can do it naturally – no need to ever take medication. I’ve done it over and over again with hundreds and thousands of my clients, including my father! Best Herbs, Vitamins & Minerals Regular, daily exercise and a healthy diet of natural foods is very important for overall health. Unfortunately, there’s no way you can get all of your vitamins and minerals from food, unless you ate thousands of calories daily. And when it comes to plaque and calcium removal, there are some very specific, potent and effective supplements that will give you dramatic results in just a few short weeks. -Vitamin C, D3, E and especially K2-7 (MK7) and Magnesium are very important at removing calcium OUT of your arteries and putting it in your bones where it belongs -Nattokinase reduces Fibrin buildup, which is an insoluble protein that impedes blood flow and thickens your blood. -White Willow Extract and Ginger Extract are anti-inflammatory and also reduces thick, sticky blood and improves circulation. They work great together. -NAC reduces heavy metals, toxins and pesticides from your body and also strengthens your liver… all of which is very important for healthy and clean circulation of your blood. There are a few other good ingredients specific for our goal -- such as green tea extract and a blend of L-Carnitine (Acetyl + Glycine Propionyl) Of course, I’m not expecting or advising you to go out and buy all of these ingredients individually and take them daily because it’s just way too expensive and inconvenient. I know from personal experience because I tried it myself and my parents. It’s not a long-term solution and if you don’t stick to something long-term, you won’t get lasting results. The good news is that under this video you can get access to a simple, proven and effective solution, which eliminates the need to take all of these ingredients by themselves. So it’s easy and it’s what I do myself. Heart disease has many causes, but the most common cause is eating too many carbohydrates per day for years. The chemistry that ensues is known and how to reverse it is also known but is not practiced in conventional medicine and rarely in alternative medicine. That's why heart disease is never cured but merely managed. Eating animal fats, saturated fats and cholesterol have never been the problem. See this video to find four heart tests your cardiologist won't run but should. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C76Rr... Please like, share and subscribe to my YouTube page to get notifications whenever I post a new video! -Dr. Schmidt You have already taken the first step to better your health by watching my video! Next, I recommend that you join our Long Distance Patient Program so that you can get diet modification and supplement recommendations designed specifically for you by me or one of my fellow practitioners in our Ann Arbor, Michigan office. You have to be a patient of our office in order to receive supplements, per our distribution agreement with the producer of the Standard Process brand supplements. After the phone call, you are able to order supplements for a year, as needed, directly from our website and our app. We will then promptly ship the supplements out to you. Follow up phone calls with your practitioner are $125 for a 20 minute phone/SKYPE appointment. Not only are your health issues of concern thoroughly evaluated, but you receive a comprehensive full body evaluation, two different computerized cardiac health tests, a great deal of teaching and health education, and leave with a program of diet modification and supplement support that the practitioner is confident will improve your health and quality of life. This program can initiate your relationship with our clinic, and be followed up with telephone/online consultations, or it can be incorporated into your already existing program with our clinic to further enhance the program you already have in place. The cost for the Long Distance Travel Package is $560 and includes everything mentioned above. If You Take These Supplements, Stop Immediately! They Are Slowly Ruining Your Health

06:17
If You Take These Supplements, Stop Immediately! They Are Slowly Ruining Your Health Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11 Unfortunately, you might still not be aware of the fact more than 97% of vitamins we are regularly using contain some dangerous ingredient. They are produced by big pharmaceutical companies, for instance, Centrum is a product of the Pharma giant Wyeth, while Bayer HealthCare of aspirin fame makes the One A Day line. Numerous supplements are also sold by Unilever, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline and other big pharmaceutical firms, and a great part of them are high in artificial additives, synthetic flow agents, chemical colorings, and even imitation vitamin compounds, which cannot be completely processed by the body as it does not recognize them. These are some facts about supplements you need to know: Supplements and pills derived from whole foods treat many, but not all synthetic vitamins deficiencies. Numerous supplements, especially multivitamins, are not derived from edible foods but are a product of synthetically manufactured substances. Synthetic substances are often not absorbed well, and if in high amounts, they have disastrous effects. Long-term epidemiological evidence shows that typical multi-nutritional vitamins do not provide many health benefits. Dangerous Ingredients in Supplements: Yet, one of the most shocking facts about supplements is the one that they include GMOs, and what’s more, in excessive amounts! They are high in genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), toxic additives, aspartame, aluminum, and petroleum-derived artificial colors. All of these destroy the gut bacteria. The following list includes GMO Fillers(unless listed) which must be avoided in the supplements: GMO fed pork/beef gelatin. Soy lecithin. Modified food starch (corn). Corn starch. Whey/egg white protein from GMO-fed cattle/chickens. Hydrogenated soybean oil. Maltodextrin. Citric acid. Lactic acid. Ascorbyl palmitate. Xanthan gum. Natural flavoring. You should also stay away from the following toxins as well: Stearic Acid and Magnesium Stearate. Magnesium stearate is added to at least 90 percent of all vitamin supplements, and it is made by adding a magnesium ion to stearic acid. It has lubricating abilities, which is often the reason why it is added to supplements, and it prevents the sticking of capsules and pills to each other. Immunology published a study which showed that stearic acid could suppress the activity of our natural killer cells, T cells, and thus cause “ a loss of membrane potential and ultimately cell function and viability.” It is in fact sourced from hydrogenated oils like cottonseed oil, and it is often rich in pesticide residue, as it is genetically engineered. Titanium dioxide. This is a common pigment in vitamins and supplements, and the exposure to it can weaken the immune system. “Titanium dioxide has recently been classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as an IARC Group 2B carcinogen ‘possibly carcinogen[ic] to humans,’” explains the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health & Safety on its website. “This evidence showed that high concentrations of pigment-grade (powdered) and ultrafine titanium dioxide dust caused respiratory tract cancer in rats exposed by inhalation and intratracheal instillation.” Carrageenan. A warning issued by the Cornucopia Institute, a highly-effective food activism group, warns that it causes “gastrointestinal inflammation, including higher rates of colon cancer, in laboratory animals.” It also leads to gastrointestinal symptoms (spastic colon, irritable bowel syndrome/IBS, chronic diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease, etc.), so you must avoid it in order to stay safe. Silicon dioxide. It is in fact just common sand, but it is used as an expensive filler, with the aim to make the bottle weigh more, and thus give the impression that it is of higher quality. Artificial colors. Artificial colors are related to various issues, from cancer to hyperactivity in children. Numerous extremely popular supplements like Centrum, are high in toxic coloring agents such as FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake and FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake, which are potential neurotoxins. =========================================== supplement ,vitamin d supplement ,vitamin c supplement ,weight gain supplements ,bodybuilding supplements ,popeyes supplements ,supplement superstore ,joint supplements ,protein supplements ,vitamin supplements ,omega 3 supplements ,zinc supplement ,potassium supplement ,simply supplements ,supplements canada ,energy supplements ,supplements for anxiety ,hgh supplement ,weight loss supplements ,define supplement ,nutritional supplements ,supplement meaning ,bulk supplements ,supplement warehouse ,supplements to lower cholesterol ,muscle supplements https://youtu.be/YhQiKCLTrdc Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11

Boost memory and heart health with lecithin*

02:45
Two studies show lecithin's power. Lecithin is a special type of fat called a phospholipid. About 13% by weight of the lecithin molecule is choline. Most choline in the diet is derived from lecithin. Some foods contain it in the free form or as a component of other phospholipids. One tablespoon of lecithin granules provides about 1,725 mg of phosphatidylcholine and 250 mg choline, a little less than the content in an egg. In many of the studies that convinced nutritionists that choline is an important nutrient, lecithin appears to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease several ways: by contributing cholesterol-lowering polyunsaturated fats, inhibiting intestinal absorption of cholesterol, increasing the excretion of cholesterol and bile acids, and favorably affecting lipoprotein profiles. In one study, people with high blood lipids were given 10. 5 grams of lecithin for 30 days. Their average total cholesterol and triglycerides decreased by an impressive one-third, the bad LDLs decreased by 38% and the good HDLs increased by 46%. The researchers concluded that "lecithin. should be administered for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. ".Human studies suggest lecithin and choline may also benefit memory. In one study, investigators gave healthy adults either 2 tablespoons of lecithin or a placebo for five weeks. By the end of the study, memory test scores of the lecithin group improved significantly, exceeding those of the placebo group. A lifestyle of a person plays an important role in the liver functioning and failure. There are several stages of liver damage that occur - inflammation, fat deposits, scar tissue. The liver is the only organs in the body that can regenerate itself but it generally takes a long time. Foods that harm the liver include alcohol. Foods that can heal the liver are bitter vegetables. The liver has 500 functions and if dysfunction can become inflamed, develop scar tissue and eventually cirrhosis. HDL & Reverse Cholesterol Transport [HD]

03:24
Updated Comments: August 2017 publication in EHJ shows very high HDL predicts an increased mortality risk (see more details below...) As shown in older studies (AIM-HIGH & HPS2-THRIVE), HDL-C increase alone cannot be associated to cardiovascular benefits, especially when LDL-C is very low. HDL-C remains a marker to assess cardiovascular risk but not a Risk Factor: meaning that raising HDL-C is not proven to provide benefit. A recent data analysis published on August 2017 in the European Heart Journal by Madsen et al. (Eur Heart J 2017;38:2478–2486) referring to the Copenhagen City Heart Study and the Copenhagen General Population Study has shown that the presence of an extremely high concentration of HDL cholesterol is predictive of an increase in all-cause mortality in both men and women. This analysis included 52.268 men and 64.240 women and shows a U-shaped relationship between HDL cholesterol concentration and mortality, with an increased risk observed at both low levels and very high levels of HDL cholesterol. The lowest mortality was observed with HDL cholesterol levels of 73.5mg/dL (1.9 mmol/L) in men and 92.8mg/dL (2.4 mmol/L) in women. Complexity of HDL-C functions does not allow simplifications such as to determine CV Benefit just from HDL-C concentration (eg: mg/dL) modifications. Number and size of HDL-C particles, concentration of Apo-A1, and the actual Reverse Cholesterol Efflux need to be considered. More trials are underway to finally conclude on this matter. LDL-C remains the primary treatment target (recent guidelines also mention non-HDL and Apo-B as secondary targets). Dr. Gundry: Lectins are the Root Cause of Inflammation and Disease

01:11:16
Get the Lectin Avoidance Diet cookbook: http://bit.ly/lectincookbook. Dr. Gundry exposes the dangerous truth behind lectins and how they relate to autoimmune disease. Most importantly, he shares his vast experience and research on why lectins are so harmful to the body, and how to reverse the damages they cause. Anyone who reads SelfHacked knows I am very ‘anti-lectin’ for people with autoimmune/inflammatory issues. Dr. Gundry, originally a very famous heart surgeon, discovered how dangerous lectins are and altered his career to help people reverse autoimmune disease through his matrix diet. He has completed the only human study related to lectins and is now the most knowledgeable on the subject. His second book "the Plant Paradox" is coming out on April 25th.

What is Soy Lecithin – Benefits and Risks!

04:59
http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to dietary supplements and alternative medicine! In this video I'm going to answer the question what is soy lecithin and I'm going to share how it is used. Have you ever seen this substance in a mayonnaise, salad dressings or chocolate? One of the ways soy licithin is used is to enable water and oil to mix better. With chocolate is used to create a better texture, so its appearance is more pleasing to the eye. The second use of this substance is to extend shelf life, so a product can last longer without spoiling. Also it's used to reduce sticking. In fact if you look at the ingredients of a cooking spray there is a good chance soy licethin will be one of the ingredients. Its also used in bread dough to help make it easier to work with, and cake mixes. Now you know why companies put this ingredient in various food products let's talk about what it does to the human body. According to the NYU Langone Medical Center it is likely safe to consume and the biggest risk is taking too much of it. If someone takes several grams of it they could experience an upset stomach ache, nausea and diarrhea. One of the problems with soy lecithin is that it's a soy product. Over 90% of soy products in the United States are genetically modified. There is some debate on whether genetically modified organisms or GMO for short is unhealthy. One solid piece of evidence that it is unhealthy is the fact many countries have banned the substance. Right now there are over 26 countries that have banned GMO's including Germany, Australia and Russia. The second piece of evidence that it's unhealthy is that there are some studies that show it to harm health. In one study published in the Journal Organic Systems scientists took a group of pigs and gave them either a diet of GM food or food that with no GMO's in it for 23 weeks. The result was that the pigs that ate a diet of GMO's experienced more severe stomach inflammation and a 25% heavier uterus. There is some good news to soy lecithin and that is that it can provide some benefits. It has an ingredient known as choline. This is one reason why some dietary supplements contain it. It isn't proven, but there is a link with a choline deficiency and memory loss. This does make sense because it has a role in the creation of cell membranes and being used in nerve signals. There is also a link that if someone doesn't have enough choline in their body they have an increased risk of liver damage. To sum everything up soy lecithin is used to make water and oil mix better. It can extend the shelf life of certain products and to reduce sticking. The big danger with it is there could be some negative effects if someone takes too much. Also if it's made with GMO's there could be negative health consequences. A few of the benefits of this substance is that it can reduce the chance of memory problems and liver damage. Supplements and alternative medicine can be confusing and even harmful. Make things really simple and give your body a HUGE edge by viewing a free video guide I created at http://utahtexans.com/.

It must be obtained through the diet or by supplementation. L-Methionine supports the production of the cellular antioxidant, glutathione, thereby assists in natural detoxification processes. In the body, L-Methionine can also be converted into SAMe (S-Adenosyl Methionine), a compound that supports healthy joints.* NOW® L-Methionine is the natural L-form of this amino acid. A sulphur-containing amino acid, methionine improves the tone and pliability of skin, hair, and strengthens nails. It influences hair follicles and promotes hair growth. Involved in many detoxifying processes, sulphur provided by methionine protects cells from pollutants, slows cell aging, and is essential for absorption and bio-availability of selenium and zinc. Methionine chelates heavy metals, such as lead and mercury, aiding their excretion. Methionine is necessary for the production of creatine, choline, and free radical scavengers. It also acts as a lipotropic agent and prevents excess fat buildup in the liver. Methionine may protect against the toxic effects of hepatotoxins, such as acetaminophen; and it also protects the kidneys; L-Methionine is a principle supplier of sulfur which prevents disorders of the hair, skin and nails; it helps lower cholesterol levels by increasing the liver's production of lecithin; regulates the formation of ammonia and creates ammonia-free urine which reduces bladder irritation; Methionine may also have antioxidant activity. Methionine is required for synthesis of cysteine It’s also a precursor of homocysteine and SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine). The role of methionine as a precursor of homocysteine is the most notable cause for concern. A "loading dose" of methionine (0. 1 g/kg) has been given, and this resulted in increased plasma homocysteine which is a biomarker of cardiovascular disease. Although this procedure results in vascular dysfunction, this is acute and unlikely to result in permanent damage.

Increase risk of getting cancer 2. Anemia 3. Increase risk of a stroke 4. Adrenal failure 5. Increase risk of infection 6. Increase risk of viruses 7. Increased risk of dying from all causes 8. Chronic inflammatory condition 9. Chronic liver disease 10. Depression 11. Increases the risk of respiratory diseases 12. Aortic dissection 13. Predisposes the critically ill to sepsis (blood poisoning) and adrenal failure. What is considered low cholesterol? Less than 160! The truth is that high cholesterol is not nearly as dangerous compared to low cholesterol. Your body makes cholesterol (3000 mg a day) and when you consume less, your body makes more, and when you consume more, your body makes less. Cholesterol is made to build hormones, build cellular membranes, builds brain and nerves, the immune system and even to make bile. 10 Health Benefits of Lecithin

03:28
10 Health Benefits of Lecithin Lecithin is a generic term to designate any group of yellow-brownish fatty substances occurring in animal and plant tissues, which are amphiphilic - they attract both water (and so are hydrophilic) and fatty substances (lipophilic), and are used for smoothing food textures, dissolving powders (emulsifiers), homogenizing liquid mixtures, and repelling sticking materials. Lecithins are usually phospholipids, composed of phosphoric acid with choline, glycerol or other fatty acids usually glycolipids or triglyceride. Glycerophospholipids in lecithin include phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylserine, and phosphatidic acid. Lecithin was first isolated in 1846 by the French chemist and pharmacist Theodore Gobley. In 1850, he named the phosphatidylcholine lécithine. Gobley originally isolated lecithin from egg yolk—λέκιθος lekithos is "egg yolk" in Ancient Greek—and established the complete chemical formula of phosphatidylcholine in 1874; in between, he had demonstrated the presence of lecithin in a variety of biological matters, including venous blood, bile, human brain tissue, fish eggs, fish roe, and chicken and sheep brain. Lecithin can easily be extracted chemically using any non-polar solvent such as hexane, ethanol, acetone, petroleum ether, benzene, etc., or extraction can be done mechanically. It is usually available from sources such as soybeans, eggs, milk, marine sources, rapeseed, cottonseed, and sunflower. It has low solubility in water, but is an excellent emulsifier. In aqueous solution, its phospholipids can form either liposomes, bilayer sheets, micelles, or lamellar structures, depending on hydration and temperature. This results in a type of surfactant that usually is classified as amphipathic. Lecithin is sold as a food supplement and for medical uses. In cooking, it is sometimes used as an emulsifier and to prevent sticking, for example in nonstick cooking spray.

7 Foods You Should Include in Your Diet to Control Your Cholesterol

04:06
7 Foods You Should Include in Your Diet to Control Your Cholesterol 1. Oats Oats are not only one of the most complete cereals from a nutritional point of view, but they’re also the healthiest. Moreover, they contain small amounts of linoleic-type fatty acids. Together with their fiber and lecithin content, these contribute to lower blood cholesterol levels. In addition, oats contain a high amount of avenasterol, a type of phytosterol. This reduces the absorption of lipids in the intestine and stops them from accumulating on the arterial walls. 2. Barley Barley contains a type of soluble fiber known as beta-glucan. After being absorbed into the body, it decreases bad cholesterol (LDL levels). Its nutritional composition, similar to that of oats, makes it an excellent food option for patients with high cholesterol. Furthermore, it contains an antioxidant known as tocotrienol located in the husks of its grains. This helps protect your arteries against oxidative damage. 3. Avocados Known for its many applications in gastronomy, avocado is a delicious food that benefits the health of those with bad cholesterol (LDL). It contains polyunsaturated fatty acids. These promote the elimination of lipids already present in the blood instead of allowing lipids to build up. Moreover, its fiber and essential amino acids help to metabolize fats more easily and prevent them from being absorbed in the intestine. Plus, avocados contain some plant substances known as stanols and sterols. These slow down the accumulation of lipids in the body. 4. Oily fish Oily fish is a great ally for patients with high cholesterol and triglycerides. In addition, its high concentration of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants improve the elasticity of the arteries while stopping the formation of plaque on their walls. Overall, these healthy fats act as cleansing agents in the blood as they remove unneeded lipids and increase arterial vasodilation. Some of the best varieties are: Sardines Tuna Salmon Anchovies Mackerel Horse-mackerel Herring 5. Green leafy vegetables Green leafy vegetables are famous all over the world for being excellent weight loss allies. Their low caloric content and high contribution of essential nutrients help to improve metabolic activity. This allows your body to optimally use calories. In addition, they contain fiber and antioxidant substances that promote the reduction of bad cholesterol (LDL). Finally, their small supply of stanols and sterols slows down the intestinal absorption of LDL and helps maintain healthy arteries. 6. Legumes Regularly consuming pulses can prevent and control levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) thanks to their high dietary fiber content. This essential nutrient, supported by its antioxidant compounds, slows the absorption of LDL in the intestines. Then, it maintains only the amount necessary for the body. Legumes are also excellent for dealing with the excess weight, a condition that also influences LDL. The recommended ones are: Beans Lentils Green peas Chickpeas Soy 7. Blueberries Finally, blueberries are rich in antioxidants and dietary fiber. When your body absorbs them, they help curb excess cholesterol. Furthermore, consuming them in their fruit or juice form cleans the arterial walls and removes the plaque that increases the risk of obstruction. This reduces the risk of cardiovascular and circulatory system disorders. Thus, it promotes the well-being of the body. Finally, it’s important to add that although all these foods reduce cholesterol, they must be supported by a healthy eating plan. They’re ineffective if you also consume foods rich in bad cholesterol.

Soy Lecithin Why It Is Bad For You

01:38
Soy Lecithin is a highly processed product that is created by taking soy beans, using hexane to separate the oil from the lecithin then bleaching it with hydrogen peroxide. Soy lecithin is lacking antioxidants which protects it from free radical oxidation. Peroxidized fats are mutagnic (damage DNA), carcinogenic (cause cancer), thrombogenic (cause abnormal blood clots), atherogenic (cause atherosclerosis), and suppress the immune system. Soy lecithin is primarily derived form GMO soy crops in the United States which have a whole list of health problems of their own. I highly recommend you read the labels of the food you buy and don't buy anything with soy lecithin in it! Check me out on social media! Lowering Cholesterol Naturally with Shaklee Cholesterol Reduction Complex

http://Cholesterol.GetLivingHealthy.com WHAT IS CHOLESTEROL? Cholesterol is a fat-like, waxy compound found in the blood and body tissue. The body normally produces enough for its needs. When there is too much cholesterol in the blood, it can build up in the walls of the arteries and eventually cause the arteries to harden. If the circulation of blood through the coronary artery becomes completely blocked, a heart attack will be the result. There's good cholesterol and bad -- but do you know the difference? Here are some helpful hints and facts to help you distinguish the two. Dr. Oz's Cholesterol Facts: -- Ideally, your low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels should be under 100 mg/DL. -- The liver produces cholesterol, therefore you want to eat foods that keep it healthy and avoid foods like white bread that contain bleached flour. -- Foods that help cholesterol: monosaturated fats & soluble fiber. -- Foods that hurt cholesterol: Whole milk, peanut butter, liver, dark chicken meat. WHY IS CHOLESTEROL IMPORTANT? Your blood cholesterol level has a lot to do with your chances of getting heart disease. High blood cholesterol is one of the major risk factors for heart disease. A risk factor is a condition that increases your chance of getting a disease. In fact, the higher your blood cholesterol level, the greater your risk for developing heart disease or having a heart attack. HOW CAN I LOWER CHOLESTEROL? Here are few tips for lowering cholesterol: -- Eat fewer fats and fried foods. Choose non-fat and low-fat versions of foods, if available. -- When eating fats, select unsaturated fats. (Unsaturated fats are liquid at room temperature -- vegetable oils, for example. Avoid tropical oils, such as palm and coconut oil.) -- Choose fish and poultry more often than red meat. -- Limit total amount of meat, fish, poultry, and low-fat cheeses to 7 ounces or less each day. -- Exercise -- If you smoke, quit. -- Lose extra weight. -- Eat more soluble fiber. Good sources are fruits, beans, peas, and oats. -- Limit egg yolks to no more than three per week. (Egg whites are fat-free.) ARE THERE GOOD AND BAD CHOLESTEROL TYPES? We've realized in the past several years that the overall cholesterol number isn't nearly as important as breaking it down into LDL and HDL because the two have such different actions. We remember it by first initials-L for lousy, H for healthy. LDL cholesterol is short for low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Exercising, losing even 10 pounds of weight, avoiding simple carbohydrates (avoid all white foods), and restricting saturated and trans fats to less than 20 grams a day will lower your LDL. You can lower the level of LDL cholesterol in several other ways, as well. As you might guess, HDL cholesterol is short for high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. You want as high an HDL level possible-at least greater than 40. You can increase your HDL by consuming healthy fats-found in olive oil, fish, and walnuts-walking (or any physical activity) for 30 minutes a day, taking a newer natural products like Cholesterol Reduction Conplex from Shaklee, and having a drink of Red Wine on occasion. You can boost your level of HDL cholesterol in other ways, as well. Learn more about our NEW! Cholesterol Reduction Complex from Shaklee Lowers Cholesterol Naturally... Cholesterol Reduction Complex is a proprietary formula with clinically proven ingredients that help prevent absorption of cholesterol and lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol. What is Soy Lecithin?

03:29
In this video, I discuss Soy Lecithin, which is an ingredient found in a wide variety of foods. Transcript (partial) What is soy lecithin? Actually the first question is what is lecithin? It is a mixture of phospholipids in oil. Great, what is a phospholipid? Essentially a phospholipid is a fat molecule that is able to dissolve into mixtures that contain both oil and water. So, we are going to look at how a phospholipid is able to bind water and oil together. We are going to go thru this in a very general sense. First lets look a little deeper into a fat molecule. We start with a glycerol group, which acts like the backbone of the molecule. Attached to it, is a phosphate group. And in lecithin, there is a choline group attached to the phosphate group. Lastly, we have 2 fatty acid chains that are attached to the glycerol group. Now lets take a water drop, and an oil drop. Normally, they wont bind. However, When we throw our phos in, the phosphate group binds to the water drop, and the fatty acids bind to the oil drop. The basic molecular structure of a phospholipid consists of tails made of 2 fatty acid chains, and a head that contains a glycerol, phosphate, and choline group which is water soluble. In a mixture that contains both oil and water, the phosphate group will attach to the water, and the tails to the oil. This is what allows oil droplets to stay in water for a long time. This process is known as emulsification, and lecithin is known as a great emulsifier in many processed foods. You will see it regularly in chocolate bars. So, now that we know what lecithin is, we can tackle the soy part. I have a separate video posted where I discuss soy in depth. I will put a link to that video on the screen, and in the description box below. Basically, Soybeans are processed to separate oil and protein contained in them. Once that is completed, lecithin is then removed from the oil. Soy lecithin has some health benefits. It is high in choline, which is essential to cells, with out it, cell membranes would harden. Choline is also vital for healthy liver function, and its now being sold as a dietary supplement. But, its main benefit is to the food industry. As I said earlier, it emulsifies and stabilizes food, which gives it……longer shelf life. It is also found in cooking sprays, as it reduces stickiness. Now, for the bad…90% of soy in America is gmo, and it goes through processing that exposes it to chemicals. Bottom line…Soy lecithin has some health benefits, but, if possible, you want to stay away from the gmo, and any that has been exposed to chemicals. Carnitine, Choline, Cancer and Cholesterol: The TMAO Connection

Subscribe to Dr. Greger’s free nutrition newsletter at https://www.nutritionfacts.org/subscribe and get a free recipe from his new HOW NOT TO DIE COOKBOOK. (All proceeds Dr. Greger receives from the sales of his books, DVDs, and speaking engagements go to support the 501c3 nonprofit that runs NutritionFacts.org.) DESCRIPTION: Expanding on the subject of my upcoming appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, a landmark new article in the New England Journal of Medicine shows that choline in eggs, poultry, dairy and fish produces the same toxic TMAO as carnitine in red meat, which may help explain plant-based protection from heart disease and prostate cancer. It was such an honor to be on The Dr. Oz Show last week. It's expected to air during sweeps week next month. I'll announce the date on the NutritionFacts.org Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/NutritionFacts.org). The TMAO story is such a fascinating twist. It helps explain, for example, Harvard's Meat and Mortality Studies (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/harvards-meat-and-mortality-studies/). The role of the inflammatory "foam" cells (so-called because they're so packed with cholesterol they look foamy under a microscope) affected by TMAO is explained in my video series that starts with Arterial Acne (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/arterial-acne/) and Blocking the First Step of Heart Disease (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/blocking-the-first-step-of-heart-disease/). When I say we normally make all the carnitine we need, there's a rare genetic inborn error of metabolism that affects as many as 1 in 40,000 births, which can result in a need for dietary carnitine. Learn more in my video When Meat Can Be a Lifesaver (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/when-meat-can-be-a-lifesaver/). What does carnitine do? It's involved in energy production in the mitochondria ("power plants") in our cells. The enzyme that uses carnitine to help us burn fat, carnitine palmitoyl transferase, is actually upregulated by about 60% in those eating meat-free diets, which may help explain why those eating plant-based diets tend to be slimmer. More details in my video How to Upregulate Metabolism (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/how-to-upregulate-metabolism/). The prebiotic videos I feature are Fawning Over Flora (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/fawning-over-flora/) and Boosting Good Bacteria in the Colon Without Probiotics (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/boosting-good-bacteria-in-the-colon-without-probiotics/), though other videos describing the beneficial products our friendly flora make from the plants we eat include: · Flaxseeds & Breast Cancer Prevention (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/flaxseeds-breast-cancer-prevention/) · Flax and Fecal Flora (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/flax-and-fecal-flora/) · Sometimes the Enzyme Myth Is True (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/sometimes-the-enzyme-myth-is-true/) And for another behind-the-curtain peek at the egg industry, see Eggs vs. Cigarettes in Atherosclerosis (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/eggs-vs-cigarettes-in-atherosclerosis/) and Egg Industry Blind Spot (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/egg-industry-blind-spot/). Why It's OK to Love Butter Again

04:53
Why It's OK to Love Butter Again. Throughout the years, spread has gotten an incredible awful rep, however it's a great opportunity to turn around that reasoning. The famous cooking expansion is in reality brimming with cell reinforcements and vitamin A, helps control cholesterol digestion (because of the lecithin), and has been appeared to contain malignancy battling properties. At long last, it's an ideal opportunity to give it some affection. Margarine—in its most customary frame—is basically drain fat with littler measures of protein. Be that as it may, picking the correct sort of spread is what's generally critical. Consider these realities whenever you're debating your spread decision at your market's dairy segment: 1. Think about sensitivities. Margarine does in any case contain hypersensitivity causing proteins, so in the event that you have a drain hypersensitivity or affectability, you might need to stay away. In such cases, pick sound coconut oil or even cleared up margarine. 2. Go for ghee. Elucidated spread (otherwise called ghee), most regularly utilized as a part of Indian cooking, is delivered by liquefying margarine and enabling the segments to isolated. The water vanishes, a few solids buoy to the surface and are skimmed off, and the rest of the drain solids sink to the base and are abandoned when the margarine fat (at that point to finish everything) is poured off. Along these lines, ghee has irrelevant measures of lactose and casein, improving it a margarine alternative for a great many people. 3. Try not to give the fat check a chance to unnerve you. In the first place, you shouldn't eat pails of the stuff on a week after week premise yet rather utilizing it (alternatively) in a few formulas, as Bulletproof espresso. You can likewise utilize it for general cooking purposes since it's extremely steady under warmth. 4. Read the correct science. An examination performed over 50 years prior by American researcher Ancel Keys set off the low-fat rage and gave margarine and fats a terrible rep. The "Seven Countries Study" demonstrated that the hazard and rates of heart assault and stroke were specifically and autonomously identified with the level of aggregate serum cholesterol, which was, as per Keys, to a great extent caused by immersed fat and cholesterol from the eating routine. The examination was popular to the point that his discoveries and proposals were received by the American Heart Association and even the American government. Notwithstanding, Keys neglected to incorporate other essential cardiovascular adversaries, similar to sugar, and just included information from six out of the accessible 21 nations of the investigation. At that point, in a 2014 audit of his examinations, researchers found that "momentum confirm does not plainly bolster cardiovascular rules that support high utilization of polyunsaturated unsaturated fats and low utilization of aggregate soaked fats." The new science demonstrated that fat isn't the issue. The wrong sort of fat is. Spread isn't the terrible person with regards to coronary illness. Trans fats and rotten vegetable oils (canola, corn, soybean, and so on.) are the genuine offenders as a result of the aggravation they make inside the body, which prompts lifted levels of risky LDL ("awful") cholesterol. Truth be told, margarine is in reality bravo. s of your gut. The way to your best spread decisions, at that point, lies in the nature of the generation. So whenever you're considering nixing margarine from your eating routine through and through, recollect that it could really do ponders for your wellbeing.
