Get your copy today: http://www.manifestationmachine.com/rabylon From Amazon.com: Life is hard in the poverty-stricken village of Rabylon, where rabbits work every day from sun up to sun down, earning just enough carrots to survive—except for Mayor Monty Cottonsworth III, who lives in the lap of luxury as his villagers starve. Twin bunnies Remy and Rhea, fed up with working so long and so hard with nothing to show for it, desperately desire a better life, but don’t know how to achieve it. Just when they are about to give up hope, they are inspired by the story of a mythical carrot paradise that may exist on the other side of a big, green hill outside of their village. Now they face the most difficult decision they’ve ever had to make: Do they “play it safe” by staying in Rabylon and settle for a life of lack, loss, and limitation? Or do they risk it all—up to and including their lives—on the chance that out there somewhere is a life worth dying for? Cory Groshek is an author/blogger, investor, musician/entertainer, consumer rights advocate, metaphysician, and founder/CEO of Manifestation Machine. He is also known in the music industry as Cory Crush and considered an expert on intermittent fasting in the YouTube fitness community as Low Carb Cory. How to Get the Most out of Vitamin Supplements- Thomas DeLauer

How to Get the Most out of Vitamin Supplements- Thomas DeLauer: When should you take your vitamins? To learn more about how I can help you, head to http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Many factors play a role on how available vitamins and supplements are when you take them. Fat-Soluble Vitamins: Vitamins A, D, E and K- These are stored in the liver and fat stores in your body, so you do not need to consume these every day. They are easy to get from food as they are not easily broken down by heat when cooking. These are the most important vitamins to eat with food, as the name implies, they are only absorbed and used by the body in the presence of fat. These vitamins dissolve in fat and are then delivered to the bloodstream for use in the body. Not much fat is needed, but if taking a supplement, or even eating fruits and veggies, but sure to have some fat added. If you make a healthy smoothie, add some almond butter or you favorite oil, such as macadamia nut oil. When eating salads, do not use fat-free salad dressings! Olive oil and lemon juice are great options. Be careful if you supplement these vitamins and be sure to check with your doctor if you feel you may need to do so. These vitamins are only needed in small quantities and can build up to a dangerous level if too many are taken. Vitamin D is the main fat-soluble vitamin in the US where deficiencies are common. This is due to inadequate exposure to sunlight. Fortified foods and supplements can help. Try to obtain 5-15 minutes of direct sunlight twice per week to avoid a deficiency, and if this is not possible then talk to your doctor about supplementation. Water-Soluble Vitamins: Vitamin C and B-complex vitamins are water soluble vitamins that you need to be sure to include in your diet daily. Unlike fat-soluble vitamins, these vitamins are not stored in your adipose tissue or liver and are in essence washed from your body daily. Food storage and preparation are important when making sure to get sufficient quantities of these vitamins. Deficiencies are uncommon, however vegans do not have a natural source of vitamin B12 and usually need to supplement. While deficiencies are not common, it is still important to consume daily for bodily functioning. As these vitamins dissolve in water, you do not need to take these with foods, although you can if you want to. Minerals: Calcium and Magnesium (2,4) - These are best taken with food and good to take at night. Calcium is linked to improved sleep due to its muscle relaxing abilities and magnesium has calming effects on the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Zinc (2,4) - Take with or after meals to avoid stomach upset. Do not take with dairy as calcium hampers absorption. Also avoid taking with iron as large quantities of iron can also hurt your body’s ability to absorb zinc. Avoid taking excess zinc, which can lead to anemia through suppression of copper absorption. Iron (4) - Best to take on an empty stomach. Avoid taking with zinc, calcium and vitamin E as these can decrease absorption. If you have a sensitive stomach you may not do well when taking iron on an empty stomach. If so, take with a light meal. Probiotics (4) - Best to take 30 minutes before a meal as this is when digestive enzymes, bile salts and stomach acid are at low levels. These levels peak after a meal, so this is the worst time to take a probiotic. Fiber (2) - Be sure to separate taking fiber from other nutritional supplements as fiber can hamper mineral absorption. Fish Oil (4) – Fish Oil is best to take with food and with your multivitamin, or other fat-soluble vitamins, if you take them. The fat in the food that you eat can help to aid in digestion and absorption. As fats take a long time for your body to digest, it is best not to take fish oil pills or eat a fatty meal pre-workout. This can cause digestive upset. Multivitamins: As these contain both water- and fat-soluble vitamins, take with plenty of water and some food with fat in it, but try not to take with dairy as this can reduce your absorption of zinc. Multivitamin Research: Should You Be Taking Them? - Thomas DeLauer

I'm talking about potentially ditching your multivitamins, if you're not someone that actually needs it. This video came to light simply because a lot of people that have talked to and a lot of people that I've worked with, have had a very, very hard time letting go of their multivitamins. They take these multivitamins and they see them as their crutch. They see them as the end all be all and their link to healthy eating or the void fill from the nutrients that they're missing from their food. But the reality is there's a lot more to just popping a multivitamin and getting your vitamins and minerals in. So first off what I want to look at is the fact that 50% of Americans take a multivitamin. That is a lot, a lot of people that are misled. A lot of people are leading themselves to believe that they're getting all their vitamins and minerals and getting what they need from a simple pill. Also in reality, we have to look at how much money is being spent. We're talking like $11 billion dollars that people are spending on multivitamins. That's a lot of money. Okay, so let's talk about what is happening with a multivitamin and why it may not be the best thing for you. I'm not discounting it. I'm not saying that everyone should avoid taking a multivitamin. There are some subcategories of people that might want to take them, but I want to talk about some reality when it comes down to just popping that pill. First thing I want to look at is too many nutrients, okay? The simple thing is we have to look at this. If our bodies have the ability to take in all these minerals and all of these vitamins at once, don't you think there would be a food out there that truly encompasses all of them? You see, normally we have to eat different subcategories of foods to ultimately make up our nutrients. Now, if it was so easy as just popping a pill, I think that a lot more people would be really, truly healthy and if it was really possible to absorb all those vitamins and minerals at once, I think we'd have some foods that contain all those vitamins and minerals. We have to remember that we require specific enzymatic functions to truly synthesize and utilize different vitamins, minerals, and metals within the body. Each vitamin that we take in each mineral that we take in has a different process to actually being utilized and if we take them all in at once, we're not really allowing the body to do that efficiently. You're much better off knowing what is going to work for you and isolating specific vitamins and specific minerals for your type, for your bio individuality. So the thing we have to look at with multivitamins and we have this constant competition going on. Okay? We have constant competition of different minerals that sometimes need to be elevated and sometimes need to be lower, but we also have way too much of specific minerals. References: 1) Inc., G. They Told You Chia Was Good, But They Didn’t Tell You This! - Chia Seeds Benefits

It's probably safe to assume that at least one of your friends is obsessed with chia seeds . With everyone talking about how amazing they can be for you, it's easy to get carried away and not realize the side effects that chia seeds can have. Chia seeds, a superfood that dates back to the times of the Aztecs, are now enjoying a renaissance of classes. They are included in all the nutritional lists as a source rich in fiber, omega-3 fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Of course, chia seeds are a great source of nutrition as part of a balanced diet and are also constantly marketed as an aid to losing weight and swallowed in large quantities by weight watchers, but may have too much good and this superfood It is not an exception. These are some of the side effects of chia seeds that you should keep in mind. Low blood pressure/bleeding Due to the large source of Omega-3 fatty acids in chia seeds, they can actually cause the blood to thin out. It could also cause your blood pressure to drop drastically if you are already facing that health problem. If you already have low blood pressure or if you are already taking prescription blood thinners, be sure to proceed with caution and ask your doctor if your intake of chia seeds is okay. Eating too many chia seeds can cause digestive problems Chia seeds are a good source of fiber, which provides 11 grams of fiber in each 1-ounce serving . Fiber is essential for your health, promoting regularity and supporting beneficial bacteria in your intestine, among other important roles. However, too much fiber can cause problems for some people. Excessive fiber intake can cause problems such as abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, bloating and gas. This can also occur when a high intake of fiber is combined with inadequate hydration since water is essential to help the fiber pass through the digestive system. In addition, people with inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, may need to control their fiber intake and limit chia seeds during outbreaks. These chronic diseases cause inflammation and narrowing of the gastrointestinal tract, which can cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, bleeding, diarrhea and weight loss. Allergy An allergic reaction to chia seeds is extremely rare, but it is possible. If you are predisposed to allergies, you should be very careful when trying this food. Keep in mind that there are some recorded cases in which these seeds cross-reacted with other foods. Oregano, sesame, mustard, and thyme, in particular, can trigger a reaction. Potential effects on pregnant women Although the way chia seeds affect pregnant women is not fully understood, " most health authorities recommend pregnant and lactating women stay safe and avoid the use of chia seeds. until more research has been done. " While it may be uncertain if chia seeds affect pregnant women, it is probably best to omit the seeds for nine months. Eating chia seeds can be a choking hazard Although they are safe for most people, chia seeds can increase the risk of suffocation. So be sure to consume them carefully, especially if you have trouble swallowing. This greater risk is due to the fact that dry chia seeds swell and absorb between 10 and 12 times their weight in the liquid when exposed to water. These gelling properties can be useful when it comes to cooking or baking, but they have the potential to be unsafe since chia seeds can easily swell and lodge in the throat. A case study analyzed a 39-year-old man who had a dangerous incident with chia seeds when he ate a spoonful of dried seeds and then drank a glass of water.

What Are Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms?

06:05
For more info: https://draxe.com/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Apr-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=vitaminddeficiency In this video I’m going to talk about the benefits of vitamin D as well as symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. For more on vitamin d deficiency, you can check out this article: http://draxe.com/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms/ *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Top 3 Foods to Help Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Stomach Issues

03:36
Click Here to Subscribe: http://Bit.ly/ThomasVid Website: http://ThomasDeLauer.com Top 3 Foods to Help Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Stomach Issues Top Three Foods for IBS What is IBS? IBS is a cluster of symptoms, including cramping, diarrhea, constipation, bloating and gas. The exact cause of IBS is not understood, leading to difficulties in treatment. ● It does appear that IBS is more common in more developed countries Likely factors that may lead to IBS include: ● Intestinal microbiota imbalance ● Inflammation ● Intestinal infections ● Serotonin imbalance One common recommendation is the low FODMAP diet, where one avoids foods that contain fermentable carbohydrates ● It is thought that these foods can lead to increased liquid in the intestine and then to diarrhea, as well as bloating and gas ● Restrictive diet where it is nearly impossible to get sufficient vitamins and minerals ● No conclusive research showing this to help Different foods may cause symptoms for different people ● Pay attention to personal triggers ● Keeping a food journal can help If there is no exact science as to what foods to avoid, is there any supporting foods to consume? Top 3 Foods for IBS 1. Turmeric Curcumin, the most active component of turmeric, displays the following health benefits: ● Anti-inflammatory properties ● Anti-bacterial properties ● Spasmolytic activities Case Study A 2004 study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that turmeric extract improved IBS symptoms; the study was not placebo controlled 207 volunteers with IBS were given either one or two tablets of turmeric extract daily for 8 weeks and then reported their symptoms. A significant reduction in reported pain and symptoms occurred, however there was no difference between the groups. Roughly ⅔ of participants reported a decrease in their symptoms following treatment. 2. Peppermint Oil Many studies exists showing the potential for improvement of IBS symptoms with peppermint oil Case Study A 2014 study published in the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology reviewed peer reviewed published studies on peppermint oil and IBS symptoms and found peppermint oil more effective than placebo for improvement of both abdominal pain and global IBS symptoms One possible problem with peppermint oil is an increase in heartburn symptoms, although this side effect occurred less frequently than did improvement of IBS symptoms, so still good for most of those who suffer with IBS. Probiotics It is well known that the population of gut bacteria can have an impact on our health People with IBS usually have gut flora that has changed, so foods that encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut is likely to help IBS symptoms Case Study A 2000 study published in The American Journal of Gastroenterology found an improvement in IBS symptoms Recruited 60 otherwise healthy patients with IBS and split them into a control group and a test group. The test group received Lactobacillus plantarum daily for 4 weeks. The test group experienced improved flatulence during the 4 weeks and better GI function when compared to the control group 12 months after the experiment. Lactobacillus plantarum is the most prevalent bacteria found in sauerkraut, a food made from fermented cabbage. Other probiotic foods include miso, kimchi, kombucha, yogurt, and coconut kefir References 1. 11 Popular Food Combinations That Damage Your Health

10:06
How to Eat Healthy. When we need to make dinner or grab a quick snack, we often combine food without thinking much about it. But some popular food combinations can seriously affect your body and even lead to health problems. Let’s see which food combos you must avoid and what to replace them with for the sake of your own health and the health of your loved ones. TIMESTAMPS Muffin and orange juice 0:40 Meat and cheese 1:29 Eggs and fish 2:23 Cellulose and spinach 3:26 Tea and yeast dough 4:15 Yogurt and kiwi 4:54 Melon and milk 5:35 Pizza and soda 6:16 Wine and cake 7:09 Fruit with vegetables 8:00 Burger and fries 8:45 Muffin and orange juice 0:40 Some breakfasts leave you with no energy instead of helping you to kickstart your day, and a muffin with orange juice is one of them. This combination contains no protein or cellulose — just a huge amount of carbohydrates. This makes your blood sugar level soar and then dramatically decrease. Moreover, your work efficiency and stamina will also decrease. So instead of putting these 2 together, try another breakfast combo: a wholegrain muffin and some natural yogurt. Meat and cheese 1:29 Cheese contains calcium, and meat contains iron and zinc. When combined, calcium slows down the absorption of both zinc and iron, so our digestive system can't get all the proper nutrients from these products. It's better to make sure that cheese and meat aren't on the list of ingredients for your meal. Instead, combine meat with Bulgarian pepper or cabbage as the vitamin C they contain aids iron absorption. Tea and yeast dough 4:15 Tasty croissants or buns with a cup of tea can easily result in an unpleasant feeling of heaviness in your stomach and even fermentation in your gut. This happens because tea contains tannins, which make it harder for certain elements and nutrients (including iron and vitamin B1) to be absorbed, and this can hurt your nervous system. The answer is to consume tannins and caffeine-rich beverages at least an hour after your meal. Pizza and soda 6:16 Most pizzas contain cheese, which, when accompanied with cold beverages, can cause indigestion. The carbs, starch, and protein in pizza don't aid digestion either. And pizza isn't the only guilty component in this combo! The sugar in soda also slows down your digestion. Consider all of these processes happening at the same time. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -Muffin and orange juice combination contains no protein or cellulose — just a huge amount of carbohydrates. This makes your blood sugar level soar and then dramatically decrease. -Cheese contains calcium, and meat contains iron and zinc. When combined, calcium slows down the absorption of both zinc and iron, so our digestive system can't get all the proper nutrients from these products. -If you put eggs together with fish, you can forget about any of their health benefits. -Whole grains contain cellulose, which, when put together with the oxalic acid in greens, blocks the absorption of calcium. -Tea contains tannins, which make it harder for certain elements and nutrients (including iron and vitamin B1) to be absorbed, and this can hurt your nervous system. -The enzymes in kiwis lead to the accelerated decomposition of milk proteins. That's why natural milk often tastes a little bitter with kiwi products. -In an acidic environment, milk tends to clot into a hard-to-digest mass. Worse still, a melon milkshake is one of the most effective ways to upset your stomach. -Most pizzas contain cheese, which, when accompanied with cold beverages, can cause indigestion. -Alcohol massively influences your blood sugar level and increases insulin production. That's why the sugar from your dessert quickly turns into fat on your belly and thighs. -Fruit and vegetables digest differently and thus shouldn’t be eaten together. -Burger and fries combo contains a huge amount of trans fat, which can lead to cholesterol problems and heart-related diseases. 5 Reasons to Take Supplements (AND WHEN YOU NEVER SHOULD!)

10:08
Highest quality supplements. Used by today’s top professional athletes. http://athleanx.com/x/tested-trusted-true-supplements One of the most common questions asked is whether someone needs to take supplements in order to build muscle and see results. It is a good question and one that has two completely different answers depending on the person asking it. In this video, I explain to you 5 reasons you need to take supplements and when you never should take them. If you can’t deal with brutal honesty however, I would advise you not to watch, as some feelings may be hurt. To determine whether or not you are a candidate for supplementation you have to start with your experience level and current condition. If you are just starting out and are relegated to lifting 5 pound dumbbells for most of your exercises, you are likely not ready for supplements. You can gain far more benefits focusing on building up your strength and foundation while learning proper form and the best way to train than with stuffing your face with supplements. The same can be said if you have allowed your diet and nutrition to put you grossly overweight. Supplements are not your savior. You first must figure out how to rededicate yourself to your nutrition so that you can lose enough weight to make supplements a viable part of the discussion once again to take you and your results to the next level. Next you have to ask yourself if you are motivated enough to take supplements. Some people view supplementation as a way to be lax with the rest of their fitness and nutrition plan. They figure that as long as they are taking the supplements that they don’t have to worry much about everything else. Couldn’t be further from the truth. On the other hand, sometimes the act of supplementing makes you much more accountable for the rest of your actions. In this case, it can be a great advantage to helping you stay on track. If stress is a big part of your life, be it from your work or family, supplements can become even more necessary to help keep you on track and combat that. We all know that proper nutrition and fueling can go a long way towards helping your body fight fatigue and breakdown. If stress is heavy in your life then you would particularly want to look into supplements to help keep you healthy and consistent with your nutrition in the face of schedule disruption. Finally, ask yourself if you think that you can get all the benefits of supplements from food alone. If you think so, I can tell you in most cases you are wrong. For instance, there is simply no practical way to get as much creatine as you would need to experience its benefits from food alone. I said practical. Sure, you may be able to do it in theory, but when you consider the roadblocks that I present to you in the video you quickly realize this won’t work. For a complete supplement and nutrition line that is tested and trusted by today’s top professional athletes, be sure to head to http://athleanx.com/athleanrx and get your Rx Supplement bundle. Feel what a difference supplementation can make and see first hand how it can take your results to the next level. 09:39
How to get a flat stomach? There is a massage technique that can flatten out a puffy stomach and smooth out pockets of fat around the mid-section. Not only that, it can help with constipation, menstrual cramps, and even boost your immune system. Massage itself brings freshly oxygenated blood to your muscles and internal organs, thus improving your circulation and the function of these organs. And you can totally do it yourself from the comfort of your own home! The movements are very simple and can be performed every day. You can do them lying down or standing up in front of a mirror. TIMESTAMPS: Some tips about massage in general 2:35 Set-up and expectations 3:28 Step 1 4:20 Step 2 4:42 Step 3 4:54 Step 4 5:15 Step 5 5:36 Step 6 6:01 Step 7 6:18 Step 8 6:49 Step 9 7:02 Essential oils benefits 7:37 #bellymassage #flatstomach #flatbelly Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - In a 2015 study conducted at Taiwan’s National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Science, researchers had participants suffering from bloating and excess fluid retention do a 15-minute stomach massage twice a day. After just 3 days, the participants reported decreased abdominal bloating. - When you're first starting to do the massage, experts recommend going slow and being gentle with your body. If you find that some areas of your abdomen are a bit tender, lighten your pressure. - Toxins in your body are released during massage. That’s why it’s highly recommended that you increase your intake of fluids, specifically water, during this time. This will help your body get rid of these released toxins more effectively and efficiently. - Become your body’s cheerleader and try to get in a couple of 20-minute massages every day. You can do it when you wake up in the morning and before you go to sleep at night. - In terms of oils, it’s better to use olive oil or coconut oil. When you pour the oil on your hands, always rub them together to warm them up. - Do not perform the massage right after eating or if you have a bad stomachache or the flu. If you perform the massages for menstrual cramp relief, keep in mind that they do increase blood flow. - It’s always a good idea to consult your doctor before trying any at-home remedies like massage. - Remember, these tummy massages aren’t just effective for flattening the belly. They can also help alleviate discomfort caused by problems like indigestion, constipation, gas, or PMS. 16 foods to eat and avoid when on an empty stomach

Please watch: "17 Foods That Will Clean Your Arteries Naturally And Protect You From Heart Attacks" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VU-R7Ifr8pI --~-- Stay connected: Subscribe: https://goo.gl/RUzMHY Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MyHomeRemediesnow/ 16 foods to eat and avoid when on an empty stomach. Whether you've had a long day at the office or you're just heading to the kitchen after a workout, choosing the right foods to fill your empty stomach can make a big difference in how your body reacts. Eating the wrong foods can leave you feeling crummy, while the right foods give you a boost of energy without the bloaty feeling. Check out this list of foods you should and shouldn't eat on an empty stomach, and make sure to sure these tips with your friends on Facebook. Foods to Eat: 1. Oatmeal: Not only is oatmeal an excellent source of fiber and vitamins, it can help prevent an upset stomach. The grain coats the lining of the stomach and protects it against the buildup of hydrochloric acid.  2. Watermelon: Watermelon contains a lot of water so it's gentle on the stomach. As an added bonus, watermelon contains high levels of lycopene which boosts heart and eye health. 3. Nuts: Nuts are a great option for a snack in a pinch. Nuts contain lots of healthy fats and they're easy on the tummy. 4. Eggs: It might surprise you that eggs are okay (even good) to eat on an empty stomach as most dairy products are a no-no. Eggs are a good source of energy-boosting nutrients which makes them a great go-to for a quick breakfast. Plus, eating eggs for breakfast can help you cut your daily calorie intake. 5. Honey: Add some honey to your oatmeal or toast for a sweet boost of energy. Honey can increase the levels of serotonin your body produces and gives your brain more staying power. 6. Cooked vegetables: Vegetables tend to be stomach friendly foods, especially if they are cooked and soft. Veggies like carrots and lettuce are great options on an empty stomach. 7. Blueberries: Feel free to add some blueberries to your oatmeal in the morning. This tummy-friendly fruit helps increase your metabolism and boosts brain power. 8. Wheat Germ: Add wheat germ to your smoothie, toast or oatmeal for a healthy serving of vitamin E and folic acid. Plus, the wheat germ helps get your digestive rearing to go for the day. Foods to Avoid: 9. Coffee/Tea: While this caffeine-riddled drink may be what gets you up and going in the morning, you might want to eat some toast first. Coffee and tea actually encourage the production of hydrochloric acid which can cause nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Tea reduces bile in your stomach and kills your appetite (great for the afternoon munchies, not so great for the most important meal of the day.) 10. Citrus Fruit: Skip the oranges, grapefruit, and lemon until you've eaten a little something else first. While these fruits are fantastic sources of Vitamin C, they can irritate your stomach and throat when you eat them on an empty stomach. Try blueberries, watermelon or apples instead. 11. Carbonation: If you're reaching for your favorite soda to fill up your tummy: stop. Not only are carbonated drinks unhealthy, drinking sugary drinks on an empty stomach increases the risk of a sugar crash once the sweetness leaves your bloodstream. The carbonation can also increase stomach aches. 12. Puff Pastry: Put that croissant down! The yeast in a traditional danish can irritate your stomach and increase gassiness when eaten on an empty tummy. This is definitely a breakfast treat you'll want to skip before heading into an important meeting. 13. Yogurt: This popular breakfast side can contain lots of protein and healthy levels of yeast. When eaten on an empty stomach, the acid in your belly kills any healthy benefits the yeast might offer turning your healthy breakfast choice into a container of fruit-flavored sugar. 14. Pear This may seem like an odd food to avoid on an empty stomach, but the fiber in a pear can cause major stomach aches, and damage the mucus membrane in your stomach. Pair it with oatmeal or another grain to protect your stomach. 15. Tomatoes: The acidic nature of this juicy favorite can seriously irritate the stomach. While they are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, mixing the tomato with stomach acid is a bad idea, especially if you already have a sensitive stomach. 16. Banana: While bananas are a healthy fruit, as they contain lots of magnesium, eating them on an empty stomach can turn that healthy magnesium into a weapon. If eaten on an empty stomach, the excess magnesium can get into your bloodstream potentially causing heart problems later on. Eat a banana after you've had something else to eat first.

Why does stomach hurt after drinking alcohol & its homeopathic management? - Dr. Surekha Tiwari

01:45
Alcohol by its nature is an acidic substance, it is ethyl alcohol which we all drink. This alcohol is supposed to create an acidic reaction in the stomach, there is a condition by the name called as Mallory B syndrome, which happens because of the overuse of alcohol. Hardly do you see stomach ache in somebody who has taken alcohol for the first or the second time or in small quantities. If you have taken alcohol in small quantities. if you have taken alcohol repeatedly and in smaller quantities, the stomach is not able to control the acidity and the inner lining of the stomach becomes swollen, which causes the stomach ache. In homeopathy there is a particular medicine by the name acetic acid, which is responsible for looking after this disorder. Obviously you must consult the doctor and the best thing to do with alcohol as everybody knows is having lemon after you have had alcohol. The ache will go down and also the symptoms will also become better. Also lemon has got Vitamin C which helps your liver to become better to support your alcohol enjoyment.
20 Foods to Eat And Avoid on an Empty Stomach

05:57
What to eat on an empty stomach? What should you avoid eating on an empty stomach? Only a few people are aware that some foods are not very good for us if eaten on an empty stomach. Yogurt, a cup of coffee, and fresh orange juice — this is what most people probably picture when they think of a perfect breakfast. However, we at Bright Side have created a simple infographic that will guide you through what we should eat and what we should avoid in the morning. TIMESTAMPS Shortcrust and puff pastries 0:33 Any sweets 0:58 Yogurt and other fermented milk products 1:29 Pears 1:56 Tomatoes 2:24 Cucumbers and other green vegetables 3:00 Bananas 3:34 Spicy foods 4:08 Cold carbonated drinks 4:43 Citrus fruits 5:11 SUMMARY - No more orange juice in the morning! Citrus fruits are rich in fruit acids. When eaten on an empty stomach, they can cause heartburn and increase the risks of gastritis and even gastric ulcers. - Also, shortcrust and puff pastries aren’t the best solution for your morning meal. This food contains yeast, so it irritates the lining of your stomach and may cause flatulence. - What else to avoid? It may sound strange to you, but eating yogurt and other fermented milk products for breakfast has little benefit for your body. If you eat them on an empty stomach, then hydrochloric acid, formed in the stomach, kills the lactic acid bacteria. - Finally, if you eat bananas when your stomach is empty, this will lead to a sharp increase in the amount of magnesium in the blood which may harm your heart. For example: -Mg calms cells, Ca excites them -Mg necessary to relax muscles, Ca (in concert with potassium) cause muscles to contract -Mg plays a role in keeping blood flowing; Ca is involved in blood clotting -Ca contributes to bone hardness: Mg found mostly in soft body structures -Ca is involved in the fight-or-flight response and in inflammation; Mg is involved in balancing this through calm and reducing inflammation It follows that if we are stressed, maybe caused by work, life, or even extreme exercise, we need plenty of magnesium to regain balance. Magnesium burn rate is the rate at which we burn magnesium. It appears that this rate increases as we age. The idea is to fix mitochondrial functioning through the balancing of magnesium, calcium, iron and copper. Why these four minerals? We have already discussed the importance of calcium and magnesium, so now we should understand iron and copper. Iron is the #1 most abundant mineral on earth. As we go through life, we accumulate iron. Mg and Fe fight over available oxygen. These two mineral events criss-cross at about 40 - when much of the illness, aches and pains kick in. This is largely due to excess iron and deficient magnesium. Iron oxide is involved in the aging processes inside of our mitochondria. It changes enzymatic pathways and can cause a lack of ATP, which our bodies need to function! ATP doesn’t work unless it is complexed with magnesium, which affects the functioning of 3700 proteins in the body. As we go through stress iron builds up in the liver, and as we age magnesium burn rate increases. This rate is also higher when we are under stress. Copper is another important mineral - you can’t make ATP unless you have bioavailable forms of copper. Copper is the mineral that makes sure that things are oxidized properly. Dr. Morley’s RCP: Concentrate on the stops and the starts to get this in balance. Stops: 1. Stop taking hormone/vitamin D a. V D stops the liver’s production of ceruloplasmin i. Low vitamin D due to low magnesium. Every facet of VD metabolism is magnesium dependent. Taking VD can make the situation worse 2. Stop taking calcium and iron supplements 3. Stop taking ascorbic acid 4. Stay clear of high fructose corn syrup and colors 5. Stop lowfat - have plenty of fat in the diet, it is important 6. Stop using industrialized oils based on omega-6 fats 7. Steer clear of fluoride - far reaching and profound effect 8. No multivitamins or prenatals 9. No citrate - disrupts liver’s ability to make ceruloplasmin 10. No colloidal silver - it impacts copper status (silver sits below copper on the periodic table) Starts: 1. Use cod liver oil 2. Start magnesium supplementation 3. Whole food vitamin c 4. Forms of B-vitamins from way of mother nature - bee pollen, rice bran, beef liver 5. Use silica - helps to pull aluminum out of the liver 6. Start ancestral diet 7. Take boron, taurine and iodine Learn to distinguish between functional and absolute iron deficiency - almost impossible to have a total shortage of iron, but you can have a shortage of functional iron. Happens when don’t have enough bioavailable copper. Anemia of chronic inflammation leads to low Mg, low ceruloplasmin, low serum iron, etc. Excess unbound iron will lead to a loss of magnesium due to pH of a cell to be too acidic which leads to magnesium loss which leads to inflammation. Inflammation is a clinical indication of deficient magnesium, which was originally determined in 1992 in a study on rats where magnesium deficient diets led to an increase in inflammatory markers. Inflammation is a gateway to many diseases. Additionally, pathogens feed on iron, so we do not want to have excess iron levels in our diet. References: 1. ✔ Home Remedies for Upset Stomach How to Cure an Upset Stomach

03:58
If you are gassy or constipated, nauseous or have indigestion, here are some home remedies to make an upset stomach feel much better the natural way. Carrot and Mint This mixture is very helpful if you are suffering from the flu. The carrot provides nourishment and the peppermint calms your upset stomach. Slice 4 carrots and mix 4 cups of water, and 1 teaspoon of dried peppermint or one peppermint teabag together. Then boil the mixture. Cook about 15 minutes until the carrots are soft. Remove the tea bag and then blend the mixture until smooth. You can also add a little ground ginger to soothe your stomach even more and a little lemon juice for flavor. Rice Tea To help an upset stomach or to stop diarrhea, make a rice tea. Boil 1/2 cup of rice in about six cups of water for 15 minutes. Take out the rice and add a dash of honey or sugar and drink it warm. Burnt Toast Toast is very good for an upset stomach. However, burnt toast is even better because the burnt parts absorb the toxins that are making you feel sick. You can add a little jelly to make it more tasty. Apple Cider Vinegar If it is easing the hiccups or helping a sore throat, apple cider vinegar can do it all. This common home remedy will also calm an upset stomach. Mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of warm water, and 1 tablespoon of honey. This will ease indigestion and will help cramping and excess gas in your upset stomach. It can also get rid of the discomfort caused by heartburn. CRAP Diet Is Good If you feel constipated, try the CRAP diet. CRAP stands for "cherries, raisins, apricots, and prunes." These fiber-friendly fruits will get your system moving again and ease your upset stomach. Yogurt The live bacteria qualities of yogurt make it a great cure for an upset stomach. It eases your digestive discomfort and strengthens your immune system. Choose a non-fat plain yogurt without added sugar or flavors if you have an upset stomach. Caraway Seeds Caraway seeds are filled with vitamins and minerals. This stops the growth of bad bacteria that causes indigestion, gas, or bloating. Eat a handful after eating your meal or when you feel gassy. Heat Put a hot water bottle or a heating pad directly on your upset stomach. The heat increases blood flow to the skin surface. It also transfers the thinking of pain from inside your stomach to the outside. Acupuncture and Acupressure Many doctors have been using pressure points throughout the body to address physical symptoms for thousands of years. Acupuncture needles stimulate certain nerves in the body. This then sends signals to the brain to release hormones that lower the feelings of pain and nausea. Acupressure is very similar. Instead of using needles, physical pressure is applied to certain points of the body. Both acupuncture and acupressure can help ease an upset stomach very well. Aromatherapy Controlling the smells in your environment is another way to ease an upset stomach. Aromatherapy involves taking away scents that may contribute to your nausea. Then adding smells that can give you relief, such as peppermint oil or lemon. Thank you for watching. Please give a thumbs up and Subscribe and dont forget to leave a comment. Creatine: How to Best Use It for Muscle Growth (Avoid Side Effects)!

07:22
Creatine is one of the few supplements out there that is actually well-backed by research in terms of its effectiveness. However, there’s a lot of confusion out there as to how to take creatine and how creatine works. In terms of “what does creatine do”, it simply allows a faster regeneration of ATP in our muscles. Since ATP is the main form of energy for our muscles, this enables us to perform an extra rep or two during our training. As for the best creatine to take and how to use creatine effectively, stick to creatine monohydrate and take your creatine with your post-workout meal. There seems to be a slight benefit to taking creatine post-workout, and it actually drastically improves its effectiveness by taking creatine with carbohydrates and protein. Now as for whether creatine causes hair loss or other side effects, research is inconclusive at the moment. Long-term creatine supplementation does not cause any adverse health effects but may increase DHT which is a hormone that accelerates male pattern baldness in those who are susceptible or have it in their family history. Thus, those who are susceptible may want to consider that. But more research is definitely needed – the findings aren’t as serious as many people make it out to be. Top Foods That Bloat You (Stomach and Face Bloating)

When this occurs, swelling, and possibly pain, will result In other words, dehydration causes a buildup of fluid in the tissues and causes blood vessels to enlarge, which gives the face a “puffy” look Dehydration - Sodium High sodium intake is the number one culprit for fluid retention - the typical american diet is plagued with excessive sodium levels The job of the kidneys is to filter the excess sodium into the urine so that the body can get rid of it - Sodium attracts water to it and is known as being osmotic. Water follows the sodium and is drawn into the bloodstream. Excessive salt keeps the circulatory volume higher than it should be, creating and increased pressure in the blood stream and pressing on the blood vessel walls (5) One way to flush sodium out of the body is by getting more potassium - We average 2,500 mg a day, about half of the 4,700 mg minimum recommended for adults Potassium blunts the effects of sodium by helping relax the walls of blood vessels - The more potassium we eat, the more sodium we pass out of the body through urine. Cream of Tartar: Cream of tartar, also called potassium hydrogen tartrate, provides a bioavailable form of potassium rather than taking a potassium supplement One teaspoon of cream of tartar = 495 mg of potassium Note: Most people don’t realize that fresh and frozen poultry is sometimes injected with a sodium solution - so check the label Stomach Bloating Stomach bloating is the result of gas or fluid accumulating in your GI tract, or when bacteria in your large intestine have a hard time breaking down certain foods The most common type of foods that cause stomach bloating are high FODMAP foods. FODMAP is an acronym that stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides And Polyols Since your body is unable to completely digest these sugar molecules, they travel through your GI tract and reach your colon undigested, where the bacteria that live in your colon begin to ferment them. The fermentation can produce gas and bloating Raw Cruciferous Vegetables (Kale, Broccoli, Cabbage) Cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, etc.) cause bloating and gas when eaten in their raw form - extremely high in insoluble fiber, which can be difficult for your body to break down. Cooking vegetables helps break down the fibers they contain, which makes them easier on the digestive system because they’re already partly broken down. Cruciferous veggies also contain raffinose, a sugar molecule - Raffinose cannot be broken down in the small intestine as humans lack the alpha-galactosidase enzyme required to break it down. It passes through your GI tract completely undigested. Once it reaches the large intestine though, the bacteria there thrive on it and ferment raffinose into large volumes of hydrogen, methane and other gases. Fermented Veggies: Sauerkraut, kim chi, sauerruben and curtido are excellent alternatives for people with gut issues. First, the fermentation process “pre-digests” the vegetables and makes them easier to absorb. Second, fermented veggies contain probiotic microorganisms that help heal the gut References 1) Bloating and functional gastro-intestinal disorders: where are we and where are we going? - PubMed - NCBI. I Ate One Meal a Day For a Month, See What Happened to Me

08:55
Can you eat just one meal a day? The human body can survive without a bite of food for up to 3 weeks. Of course, it’s a different story with water; you wouldn’t last more than 3 or 4 days without it! You and I both know that people are expected to eat 3 full meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Depending on how filling those meals are, you may squeeze in a few snacks here and there. It usually takes about 4 hours after each meal for your belly to start making those too-often-than-not embarrassingly monstrous growls, reminding you that it’s time for your next meal! But with different diets and fasting gaining popularity, I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to my body if I ate just one meal every day for 30 days. I did it, and here’s what I got out of it! TIMESTAMPS: What the one meal a day diet is 1:44 The pros of this diet 2:38 The cons of this diet 4:05 How I felt after the 30 days 5:30 What a number of studies have shown 6:17 #diet #onemealaday #weightloss Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - You eat just one meal a day. There aren’t too many strict guidelines to this diet. You can essentially eat any foods you want and as much as you want, as long as it’s during your one singular meal of the day. - Unlike a lot of other diets, there are no special ingredients involved and no annoying calorie counting. If you want French fries, have French fries! If you’re craving a big bowl of spaghetti, go for it! - If weight loss is a goal of yours, it’s important not to overeat during your one meal since it can disrupt the diet’s ability to help you maintain a steady drop in pounds. - After trying it for a couple of days, I found that my body quickly adjusted to this way of eating, and my appetite really wasn’t that raging. This must be because my stomach probably shrank after a few days, so I felt satisfied with just one meal a day. - For the first couple days, my stomach was definitely feeling hunger pangs. It started with stomach growls and ended with painful cramping. - For the first week, I just wanted to lie on the couch and Netflix and chill all day long. My energy was super low, and I felt so lethargic. - After the 30 days, I found that I’d actually dropped a few pounds! I felt pretty awesome not only because I’d gotten leaner and felt healthier, but I was also really proud of myself for sticking to a diet that I easily could’ve given up on. - One of the main concerns I found online was the fact that women and men respond differently to this type of intermittent fasting. Women have a stronger need for iron in their diet. - I also read up on different studies. One of them was conducted in 2017 by researchers at the University of Saskatchewan. They found that the one meal a day diet can be helpful for people suffering from type 2 diabetes since it helps with weight loss and reducing blood sugar levels. - Other studies have shown that it can really help increase the lifespan in people with obesity. - It just a super specific thing that each person should check with their doctor to see if they can do it safely. A lot of people swear by it, and I’m happy with the weight loss results I got. Eat 1 Spoon Of Raw Honey Every Morning, THIS Will Happen To Your Body!

04:06
Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com Honey offers a wide range of health benefits for those who consume it, especially in its raw form. Unfortunately, most honey eaten today is processed honey, which has been filtered and heated after being collected. Raw honey is different from this processed kind. It is a unfiltered, unpasteurized and pure, and in this form, it maintains its incredibly healthy nutritional profile. In addition to offering many healthy nutrients, it also promotes many health benefits while promoting our overall health. Lets discuss some of the incredible health benefits raw honey can offer when it is consumed consistently. 1. First, raw honey has amazing antioxidant properties and this has been backed up by studies. These wonderful antioxidants can help to boost your immune system and block free radicals in the body, which can help prevent a number of unwanted diseases. Raw honey contains powerful antioxidants known as polyphenols, which have been shown to reduce the chances of disease, such as heart disease. In addition to this, raw honey also contains antioxidant flavonoids. 2. Consistent consumption of raw honey may also help to reduce the risk of developing diabetes and is even used to treat diabetes. Raw honey and cinnamon is especially helpful for diabetes since it is beneficial for healthy blood sugar levels, as we have discussed in a previous video. Raw honey can also benefit insulin levels and decrease hyperglycaemia. As well, raw honey has been found to cause a lower elevation of plasma glucose levels in diabetics when it is compared to sucrose and dextrose, as studies have indicated. 3. It is also a great source of natural energy. This is because raw honey contains a majority of natural sugars, and many different vitamins and minerals. It is an easily absorbed energy supply in the form of liver glycogen, which is why many people consume it before their workouts and sport competitions, or in the mornings. 4. Raw honey has also been shown in studies to help with weight loss when consumed. When compared to sugar, raw honey may actually work to lower serum triglycerides in the body. Other studies have shown that consistent consumption of raw honey can help to suppress appetite and activate our hormones. Like with any healthy food, just make sure you are not overeating raw honey and managing your intake. 5. Raw honey can also help to promote sleep. More importantly, it can increase and promote restorative sleep, so we wake up feeling more rejuvenated and awake. If you consume raw honey before going to sleep, it can work to restock the liver’s glycogen supply. As well, consuming raw honey also works to release melatonin in the brain. It stimulates the release of tryptophan which converts into serotonin, leading to the release of melatonin. Melatonin is great for promoting restorative sleep since it boosts immunity and also helps to rebuild tissue while we rest. 6. It can also help with treating a cough and is often considered a natural cure for both cough and cold. Persistent cough may be able to be remedied by consuming just a couple of teaspoons of honey as some studies have indicated. This is said to be due to the thick consistency and sweetness of the honey, which work to coat the throat and stimulate nerve endings which protect the throat from persistent cough. 7. Lastly, raw honey can help to improve the quality of your skin and provide a clearer complexion. This can occur when raw honey is consumed, but is even more beneficial when it is applied topically. When applying it to your skin, make sure you are using, pure, organic raw honey for best results. It can also help to relieve acne and other skin problems. As well, when applying it to your face, dilute it with water before applying. Thank you for watching the video! Please like, comment and share. 7 Remedies How to get rid of Bloating Overnight naturally - Bloating stomach Home Made Remedies

7 Remedies How to get rid of Bloating Overnight naturally - Bloating stomach Home Made Remedies Abdominal swelling is a condition in which the stomach feels full and tight due to the buildup of gas in the small intestine. This can make the stomach area visibly swollen. Often, the swelling is accompanied by other symptoms such as cramps, belching, pain, diarrhea, shortness of breath and low back pain. A number of factors can cause swelling. The main reason is the accumulation of intestinal gas. Other causes include constipation, peptic ulcers, anorexia, anxiety, smoking, water retention, trapped air, overeating, indigestion, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menopause and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). A good way to relieve bloating is to encourage the passage of gas and a bowel movement. But if you are not able to get rid of the swelling, then try some simple home remedies. Stomach Issues with Protein Powders

01:11
If you consistently have stomach issues when taking a protein supplement, it's likely due to whey protein concentrate. https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/jym/pro-jym.html Whey protein comes from cow's milk. There are two major kinds of protein in milk, whether it be human, cow, goat, etc: Those two proteins are whey and casein. In cows milk, casein makes up the majority of the protein – about 80%. Whey makes up the remaining 20%. Whey protein is the soluble portion of milk protein. To visualize this, think of the liquid that sits on top of yogurt when you open a container of yogurt... that's whey protein! Whey protein concentrate goes through the least amount of processing of the whey proteins. The filtration processes involved to create whey protein concentrate are usually gentle forms of filtration, known as microfiltration and ultrafiltration. This leaves a protein powder that is around 70-80% protein, with the rest being carbs and fat. Whey protein isolate is a purer form of whey protein than whey protein concentrate due to additional processing that involves either longer filtration times or additional steps in the manufacturing process, such as cross-flow microfiltration or ion-exchange chromatography. The further processing can create a whey protein powder with a protein concentration higher than 95%. Due to the lower carb and fat content, it's a great whey protein to use when dieting and is also great around workouts because it is digested and absorbed quickly to help build muscle. Is Coffee Bad for You?

05:11
For more info: https://draxe.com/coffee-nutrition-facts/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Jan-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=coffee One of the most common questions I’ve been getting recently is, “Is coffee bad for you?” The answer is, yes … and no. Coffee is beneficial because it contains massive amounts of antioxidants, which help slow the aging process and protect you from free radical damage. Coffee also helps stimulate the liver and increases circulation, helping blood flow to the brain. Coffee can be harmful in some ways because of the amount of caffeine it contains. The caffeine in coffee can overstimulate the body, burn out your adrenal glands, and overtax your body. About 80% of people in the world will struggle with thyroid problems or fatigue issues. For this group, I wouldn’t recommend coffee because it will burn out your adrenal glands. However, if you’re generally healthy, then drinking coffee in moderate amounts can be fine, and even good for your health. I wouldn’t recommend drinking coffee past lunch time because it can affect your sleep cycle that night. Depending on the condition of your body, if you’re suffering from an autoimmune disease, coffee can make your disease worse. If you’re pretty healthy, looking for a pick-me-up, or looking for more antioxidants, then coffee can provide you these benefits. When picking out your coffee beans, I would recommend choosing all natural, organic coffee because it’s one of the most highly sprayed plants in the world. Lastly, if you’re looking for a great substitute for coffee, I would suggest drinking matcha green tea because it has great benefits and one-third the amount of caffeine. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Can You Drink Water When You Eat?

10:20
When it comes to health, prevention is better than cure, so it’s important to know and avoid some harmful everyday habits. Can drinking water when you eat actually do you any harm, or is it just a health myth? Some experts say that eating and drinking at the same time prevents you from losing weight, while others say water dilutes our stomach acid. Let’s find out what drinking simple water as you eat can actually do to you. Some people think that drinking water while eating decreases the acidity in the stomach. So if gastric acid gets diluted, it won't be able to digest your food thoroughly enough. The digestive process starts before you even put the fork in your mouth. When we’re just thinking about our future meal, saliva starts getting secreted in the mouth. In fact, water doesn’t just enter the stomach from a glass, it’s also in the food you eat. For example, oranges, along with raspberries and pineapples, are 87% water. Research showed that some foods can, in fact, decrease acidity levels in the stomach, but they go back to normal really quickly. There are lots of advantages to drinking while eating. It helps soften and break down solid food so that your body can absorb the nutrients better. Water also prevents constipation since it softens the stool. It’s been proven that drinking just 2 cups of water raises both male and female metabolic rates by 30%. And when your metabolism is increased, this gives you a much-needed boost in energy. Water helps with the absorption of nutrients. It dissolves minerals and vitamins, along with other nutrients you get from your food. Water is vital for flushing toxins out of your body through your urine and stool. Music: Knuckle - Text Me Records/Social Work https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS Why are some people against drinking water while eating? 0:45 What happens to food and water in the stomach? 1:21 Liquids don't decrease stomach acidity. 2:38 Liquids don't influence the speed of digestion. 4:07 So can we drink while eating or not? 4:34 Reasons why your body absolutely needs water. 6:44 SUMMARY -Some people think that water pushes food that’s still in undigested into the intestines. -Water, unlike food, doesn't stick around in the stomach for 4 hours. It goes through the chewed food very quickly, moisturizes it, and leaves the stomach way before the food does. -If the stomach “feels” that it can't digest something, it pumps out more enzymes to increase the acidity of the liquid inside. Even if you drink half a gallon of water, it won't change the acidity. -Liquid leaves the body faster than solid food, but it doesn't influence the speed of digestion. -Having something to drink with your meals is harmless and can even do you some good. -Water helps regulate your body temperature, lubricates your spinal cord, tissues, and joints. Water boosts your physical performance. HOW To Low High BLOOD Pressure, Cholesterol? https://youtu.be/zMMeMjUkWi0 For a long and healthy life, it is vital to focus on your digestion. If you have these symptoms regularly, it is important to get your gut health tested. Let’s have a look at the ways as to how to prevent digestive problems: Eat frequent meals Most of us are aware about eating frequent meals. It helps in weight loss, as it boosts the metabolism rate and keeps a person away from overeating. The other fact is, it also keeps the digestive system healthy. How it works: Having a heavy meal overloads the digestive system. This can lead to heartburn from acids going back from the stomach into the oesophagus. Such stomach overload may even induce gas, nausea, or vomiting. Advise: Consuming five to six well balanced mini-meals including a mix of carbs, protein, and heart-healthy fat a day, can help promote overall digestive health. Drink plenty of water As we all know, water is an essential not just for existence and energy, but it also has numerous health benefits and aiding our digestion system is one of them. How it works: Water supports the digestive health by helping in cleansing the entire system. It is very helpful in preventing constipation as water acts as a stool softener. Moreover, water helps the digestive system absorb nutrients more effectively by assisting the body to break down food. Advise: One should aim to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day, and skip or cut down the sugary drinks. Increase fibre intake Fibre intake is important for weight loss, heart health and for a healthy digestive system. For digestion, it is the key component. How it works: Fibre is the bulk in plant foods that can’t be digested. Soluble fibre creates a gel in the digestive tract to keep a person full, while insoluble fibre adds bulk to the stools. Getting enough fibre helps to prevent digestive problems by regulating the system. Advise: A daily fibre intake of 38 grams for men under 50, and 25 grams for women in the same age group is recommended. Adults over 50 need slightly less fibre, with 30 grams a day for men and 21 grams for women. Avoid processed food It is important to reduce or eliminate the amount of processed food like pre-made frozen meals or foods high in refined sugar. How it works: These foods are harder for the body to digest. They can upset the natural mineral balance in the system, and end up staying in the digestive tract longer. Advise: It is important to go for freshly cooked food. Chew your food well We all have heard our elders telling us to chew a food properly (and not to swallow it). This is very important as our mouth is not only a passage for the food to pass through, but the tongue, teeth and saliva have a major role to play in digestion. How it works: A lot of work happens in the mouth. It moistens the food and breaks it to kick-start digestion. Advise: By properly chewing our food, we avoid gulping air, which can cause indigestion, bloating, constipation, and a good way to get rid of gas in the stomach. Healthy Hygiene It is very important to cook and eat food in a hygienic environment. How it works: Eating food with dirty hands or food prepared in unhygienic conditions can transmit potentially dangerous bacteria to the food and then into the body. Advise: One should always wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after using the bathroom and before eating or preparing food. Special attention should be given to the cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils and ingredients used for cooking. 😍😍😍😍😍 Like, Share and Subscribe Our Channel if you think these video is informative and helpful. Discover What Dr. Kotb, The Health Expert, Recommends here : http://bit.ly/DR_BERG_Fast_Weight_Loss OR Here: ============= http://amzn.to/2st2jTQ NOT just a powder like most wheatgrass powders. It is a JUICE powder, which makes it highly concentrated. Join Dr. Kotb fan page to be the first to know the best health, fitness, and beauty offers in the world AT: https://www.facebook.com/Neverseenbefore.co.uk Questions answered by dr berg himself on Amazon : Question: How long can I store the wheatgrass powder before it is expired? Answer: There's an expiration date on the container. Other than that I've had mine open for two months so far. It's a bit hard in the container but I still use it every other day. Question: Does it have foul smelling? Answer: I don't eat it by itself. I mix it into a protein shake or green smoothie and it takes on the taste and aroma of the other ingredients. So it becomes a small part of a healthy drink. Question: What is the chlorophyll content in mg? this is very important for wheatgrass I bought a new brand made by whole foods market it has 168mg chlorophyll. Answer: The difference between our wheat grass and others is the concentration of chlorophyll due to ours being a juice powder, not just a powder. So we extract the juice from the grass, which gives 6-8x more chlorophyll compared to wheatgrass powder. So 1 tsp of our wheat grass powder contains 900-1200 mg of chlorophyll per … see more Question: Does it lose its efficacy if you reconstitute it and keep it refrigerated? Answer: It's best if you leave at room temp. If you refrigerate powder tends to clump together. A story of a Verified Purchase : Drink your powdered veggies By Amanda Spencer "mandella19" on March 30, 2016 I did a lot of research before purchasing this wheatgrass juice powder. I chose this one because of the detailed description and the good reviews. I liked the idea of getting all the benefits of wheatgrass juice in the form of a convenient powder. It tastes good and the nutritional benefits are amazing. As someone who only recently started eating her vegetables, healthy shortcuts like wheatgrass juice are a huge help It is super concentrated because it is actually a powder made from wheatgrass juice, not just from the wheatgrass itself, so a little bit goes a long way. I would highly recommend. One tsp. contains amazing vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. One ounce of wheatgrass juice powder represents as much nutritional value as several shots of wheatgrass juice. Wheatgrass juice powder is high in chlorophyll. It is very high in vitamins A, B-Complex, C, E and K. It contains beta-carotene, which is found in red, green and yellow pigmented fruits and vegetables. Beta-carotene acts as a scavenger against harmful molecules flowing naturally through the body or through toxins inhaled from cigarette smoke, air pollution, and other damaging sources. Wheatgrass cleanses and feeds the body by supporting the white blood cells, which boost the body's immune system. Wheatgrass juice is also beneficial for people who need to lose weight or cleanse their bodies. Feeding your body right is essential to good health. Incorporating nutrient-dense foods into your diet is a simple lifestyle change that can set you on the right track and give even the healthiest among us a great boost. Wheatgrass and wheatgrass juice get a lot of attention for their nutritional value, and with good reason. What is the nutritional value of wheatgrass? Wheatgrass juice, or the sap of the wheatgrass separated from the fiber and cellulose of the plant, is a quick-absorbing blast of nutrition. It contains a high concentration of most of the fat-soluble vitamins that our bodies need, minerals and trace minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients, and chlorophyll. The magnesium and chlorophyll in wheatgrass is a great blood-builder, while phytonutrients are associated with disease prevention and better overall bodily function. Chlorophyll also is associated with dozens of health benefits ranging from appetite control to help your body heal faster. Trace minerals, too, support the health of the hair, skin, and nails. I recommend wheatgrass in the management of many chronic conditions. Ensuring that the body has all the vitamins and minerals it needs, and more, gives you extra energy and makes up for any deficiencies you may have despite a well-balanced diet. Think of a simple wheatgrass juice shot as nutritional insurance.
