It has other names such as ascorbic acid and has been called the most popular supplement in the world. It is essential because humans can not synthesize vitamin C and must obtain it from their diet. I'm just going to briefly summarize the things I think are worth knowing about vitamin C. Everything I'm going to say is evidence based with research to back it up. It is well known as a vitamin supplement taken to prevent the common cold. I looked up the data for this. A 2013 meta-analysis of 29 trials (n = 11,306) showed a small but significant 8 percent reduction in the duration of cold symptoms in adults regularly taking vitamin C supplements (at least 200 mg/day). In the general population it does not reduce the risk of developing a cold or getting sick. It does appear to have a protective effect in highly active individuals. In other words, the evidence is not strong that vitamin C is dramatically helpful in preventing or treating the common cold in most people. Vitamin C has not been shown to reduce the risk of developing cancer, cardiovascular disease or coronary heart disease, cataracts or macular degeneration SOURCES citric fruits, kiwi fruits, apples, vegetables, potatoes, leafy greens, and fortified cereals RECOMMENDED DAILY ALLOWANCE Males 90 mg/day Females 75 mg/day Should not exceed 2000 mg/day Vitamin C, also known as ascorbate, ascorbic acid, dehydroascorbic acid. It is a well known antioxidant. It has been associated with the common cold (acute coryza, adenovirus), head cold, nasopharyngitis, rhinopharyngitis, rhinovirus, scurvy, URI or upper respiratory infection. It is used by bodybuilders and weight lifters as a recovery supplement, it may help boost the immune system, helps with collagen synthesis, muscle building.

Ask any question directly from Anurag Sharma http://www.fjunction.com/ask Buy the T-Shirt Here http://www.fjunction.com/product-details/abs-under-construction-red-performance-tshirt Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/FitJunc/ Find us on Twitter https://twitter.com/fitjunc How to eat your fruits https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKZYbnoa0to ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vitamin C may be the most familiar of all of the nutrients. Although most adults would be hard pressed to name a good food source of biotin or riboflavin, most everyone can name citrus fruits as good sources of vitamin C. It is also a commonly used nutritional supplement. The first use of modern scientific methods to assess disease treatment was when the British navy used foods containing vitamin C (although the vitamin itself would remain undiscovered for nearly two centuries) to prevent scurvy among sailors. You could make a good case that this nutrition experiment is among the most important scientific findings in human history. Despite the familiarity of the U.S. public with vitamin C and the popularity of vitamin C supplements, food intake of vitamin C by the average U.S. adult is not much higher than the Dietary Reference Intake (DRI) level. For men in the U.S. twenty years and older, this average is 96 milligrams per day, and for women in the U.S. twenty years and older, it is 82 milligrams per day. (The DRIs for these two groups are 90 milligrams and 75 milligrams, respectively.) So even though U.S. adults are averaging adequate intake of vitamin C intake from their food, the amount is not as high as some people might expect given widespread familiarity and interest in vitamin C. Of the World's Healthiest Foods, a staggering 27 rate as excellent sources of vitamin C. Six of these contain a full day's requirement of vitamin C in a single serving. We also rate 14 very good and 14 good sources of the vitamin. This should give you plenty of variety with which to build a menu plan that easily exceeds your vitamin C goal. Role in Health Support Protection Against Excess Free Radicals Vitamin C is probably best known as an antioxidant. This is a word that we use frequently but don't always stop to think about in terms of its meaning. Antioxidants are forms of molecules that help keep chemical reactions in our body in check. In particular, antioxidants help prevent excessive activity on the part of free radical molecules. (Free radicals are forms of molecules that tend to be very reactive, and too many free radicals in the wrong place at the wrong time can do damage to our cells and tissue.) Vitamin C and other antioxidants help prevent that damage. Damage to the lens of the eye, damage to molecules circulating around in our bloodstream, and damage to genetic material (DNA) in our cells are all examples of damage that have been shown to be prevented under certain circumstances by vitamin C. One interesting application of vitamin C as an antioxidant is its ability to transform iron into a state that is better absorbed in the intestine. Including vitamin C-rich foods in recipes with your best iron sources can potentially be a way to enhance iron absorption. Collagen Vitamin C is required to produce collagen, a protein that plays a critical role in the structure of our bodies. Collagen is the framework for our skin and our bones, and without it, we would quite literally fall apart. This is exactly what we see with severe vitamin C deficiency, or scurvy. People who have this condition lose teeth, bleed easily, and lose the strength of their bones. Luckily, it doesn't take much vitamin C to prevent this problem. As we've known for more than two centuries, a single lime per day would usually be enough. (However, as described earlier, we have dozens and dozens of great food choices that will give us as much vitamin C as a single lime!) Brain Health Vitamin C is necessary to make certain neurotransmitters. These neurotransmitters are the signals that carry thoughts, feelings, and commands around our brains and throughout our nervous system. In particular, we need vitamin C to produce serotonin, a hormone that plays a critical role in wide variety of body systems, including the nervous system, endocrine system, immune system, and digestive system. Many of our moods, daily bodily rhythms (including sleep-wake cycles), and experiences of stress and pain have serotonin included as a factor in their occurrence. Some of the most commonly used prescription medications for depression (SSRIs, or Selective Serotonin Reupdate Inhibitors) also target this hormone. While we are not suggesting that dietary intake of vitamin C will automatically improve the quality of any experiences described above, we do recommend that you include vitamin C-rich foods on a daily basis as part of your overall well-being.

Reduce Stress and Burn Fat with Vitamin C- Thomas DeLauer Vitamin C is just one of the many BASIC vitamins that doesn't get enough attention, learn more at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com We're always told that you can take vitamin C when you're sick or when you got a cold or when you've got the flu and it's going to help you fight the illness and get over it quicker, but no one's ever really looking outside the box and looking at what other uses we can use vitamin C for, at least in the business world for those of us that are living a high-stress life and are trying to balance work, family, health, and all that. First, let's take a little look at what vitamin C does and exactly why it can be a benefit to you in this particular case. Before I dive into vitamin C, I have to talk a little bit about cortisol, which I talk about in a lot of my videos. I talk about how cortisol stimulates the release of adrenaline, epinephrine, norepinephrine, all those hormones and those basically neurotransmitters that are going to make you in that fight or flight response. They're going to make you have to fight for something or run away and basically not be able to focus on the work that really needs to be focused on. Well, what vitamin C does is it actually blunts the cortisol, or more so, it blunts the effect of cortisol on the body. Simply by taking some vitamin C in a mega dose, your body can fight the cortisol and b in a better position to make executive decisions and to make the right progress in the gym and at home and in the kitchen. When it comes down to psychology and how you feel and how your stress levels are and how you can focus, there's even been a study out of Germany that took 1,000 test subjects, 500 of them, they were given a placebo, and the other 500 we're given high doses of vitamin C. Well, all 1,000 of those participants or those subjects were going into a public speaking arrangement. They were going into a position where they were going to be speaking in front of a lot of people, something that was going to be unnerving and stressful. The test subjects that took the vitamin C had markedly lower serum cortisol levels than the others. Now the other interesting thing is those that took vitamin C also had about a 30% reduction in their heart rate. What this means is that vitamin C had a direct correlation with reducing cortisol and reducing stress. What does this mean to you and what can you do? Simply put, mega dose some vitamin C. Take 500 milligrams with every meal, and don't worry about overdosing on it because vitamin C is water-soluble and whatever your body doesn't use, your kidneys are just going to excrete out. If you can keep a constant flow of vitamin C through the body, you're going to constantly be reducing that carbon footprint that cortisol is leaving on your body, and let's face it, as someone that's working all the time, someone that's focusing on business, someone that's trying to juggle all aspects of life, you are constantly stressed, and if you can combat it with a little bit of vitamin C, you're going to be more focused in the office, able to focus on what needs to be focused on to get the job done and to get paid. You're going to have more energy, more energy in the gym, more energy to focus on what needs to be done in the gym. You're going to feel better and not stressed out so you're going to make better decisions at home in the kitchen. Most of all, you're going to have that sense of well-being that's going to skyrocket you into a new level of success where you feel confident, feel good about yourself, and never having to focus on that multitasking mode where you can't get the job done. Vitamin-C is probably one of the most talked about vitamins around, yet almost one third of Americans aren’t consuming enough! A potent antioxidant, Vitamin-C known to fight free radicals in the body and plays a vital role in overall health. Concerned you might be Vitamin-C deficient? Here are some signs you should be watching for: 1.Slow Wound Healing If you notice your cuts and scrapes are slow to heal, have a closer look at your diet. As Vitamin-C is essential to the formation of collagen in the skin – a new connective tissue that binds a healing wound, a lack will lead to slow healing. Along with playing a role in collagen formation in healing wounds, Vitamin-C acts as a powerful antioxidant and immune-system booster – both of which encourage faster healing. 2.Dry or Splitting Hair and Nails A shiny head of hair and strong nails can often be a good indicator of a balanced-diet. Likewise, a lackluster mane that is dry and splitting may highlight a problem. Because hair is a non-essential tissue, nutrients such as Vitamin-C are sent to more important organs and tissues first, before making their way to the hair. So if you have less than ideal levels of the vitamin, you may find your hair is suffering. Furthermore, Vitamin-C is vital for the absorption of iron – a deficiency of which can cause chronic hair loss and slow hair growth, along with brittle and concave nails. 3.Swollen and Painful Joints Pain and swelling of the joints caused by inflammatory arthritis may be another sign you need to overhaul your diet. A 2004 study, conducted in Great-Britain, found that people who had low levels of Vitamin-C were 3-times more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis than those whose diets included foods rich in the vitamin. 4.Swollen, Bleeding or Inflamed Gums Oral-health problems, like swollen or bleeding gums or recurrent mouth ulcers, are often linked to suboptimal levels of Vitamin-C. Again, collagen is important as it supports the gums. It’s estimated that gums turn over at least 20% of their collagen every day, meaning regular hits of Vitamin-C are vital for good teeth and gums. Low levels of the vitamin are linked with an increased risk of gum-disease which can range from simple gum inflammation to major soft tissue damage! 5.Poor Immune Function The immune-system, our body’s protection against infection and disease, is strongly influenced by the intake of nutrients, particularly Vitamin-C. Several cells in our immune-system need the vitamin to perform their tasks so naturally a deficiency leads to a reduced resistance against certain pathogens. Getting enough Vitamin-C means that our immune system will be in tip-top shape to reduce the risk, severity and duration of certain infectious diseases. The National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements recommends that men over the age of 18 get 90-mg of Vitamin-C a day from their diet, while women need 75-mg. Foods contain high levels of Vitamin-C are Sweet red pepper, Orange juice, Grapefruit juice, Kiwifruit, broccoli And strawberries. Even with the wide array of useful and effective ingredients in skin care out there, none can lay claim to being the most effective and most well-researched, except vitamin C. Vitamin C is considered by skin care experts around the world to be an anti-aging superstar. Including this powerhouse antioxidant ingredient in your skin care routine is beneficial no matter your skin type of anti-aging concern. MOST COMMON TYPE OF VITAMIN C The most common form of vitamin C is in fact ascorbic acid. This is also the most researched type of vitamin C and that is why it is commonly used in Paula's Choice skin care products. CONCENTRATION LEVELS Research has shown that concentrations of as low as 0.6% of vitamin C is sufficient to provide visible benefits to the skin. While the higher concentration of vitamin C provide targeted solutions to stubborn skin care problems, lower concentration also help to replenish the skin in certain ways. Humans, unlike most animals, are unable to synthesize vitamin C endogenously, so it is an essential dietary component Vitamin C is required for the biosynthesis of collagen, L-carnitine, and certain neurotransmitters; vitamin C is also involved in protein metabolism. Collagen is an essential component of connective tissue, which plays a vital role in wound healing. Vitamin C is also an important physiological antioxidant and has been shown to regenerate other antioxidants within the body, including alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) Ongoing research is examining whether vitamin C, by limiting the damaging effects of free radicals through its antioxidant activity, might help prevent or delay the development of certain cancers, cardiovascular disease, and other diseases in which oxidative stress plays a causal role. In addition to its biosynthetic and antioxidant functions, vitamin C plays an important role in immune function and improves the absorption of nonheme iron , the form of iron present in plant-based foods. Insufficient vitamin C intake causes scurvy, which is characterized by fatigue or lassitude, widespread connective tissue weakness, and capillary fragility Sources of Vitamin C Facebook : https://goo.gl/MVxQZW Twitter : https://goo.gl/gntYYK Instagram : https://goo.gl/EYGiHs Google+ : https://goo.gl/dgMisN Subscribe Youtube : https://goo.gl/WkUMHc Disclaimer: This video is only intended for an informational purpose.Any information associated with this video should not be considered as a substitute for prescription suggested by beauty, diet and health care professionals.Readers are subjected to use this information on their own risk. This channel doesn’t take any responsibility for any harm, side-effects, illness or any health or skin care problems caused due to the use of our content or anything related to this..

Now I'm not saying that you need to go out and take massive amounts of Vitamin C but what I do want to do is explain how Vitamin C is created in the body in most animals and how it's not created in humans, and if you understand this process and you understand the enzymatic process in which Vitamin C is created, it gives you a better understanding of how you may want to be potentially supplementing Vitamin C. If you haven't already, make sure you hit that subscribe button on my channel and also if you haven't already turn on notifications so you can make sure you know whenever I go live or whenever I post a new video. Let's get straight down to the facts on how the body works. Most people think of Vitamin C as this immune boosting vitamin or supplement that you take to help prevent you from getting sick, but the reality is, it's more than that. It's an electron donor, and what I mean by that is Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, has an extra electron. It has an ability to donate over to free radicals within the body to ultimately neutralize them. You see, free radicals are the oxidative stress that is running around through your body. When we have Vitamin C in the equation, we have this extra electron that can be donated over to a free radical to ultimately render it useless, meaning we can stop those free radicals right in their tracks. Here's the interesting thing. Animals have a natural ability to create Vitamin C. Humans do not. You see, animals create Vitamin C or ascorbic acid in their livers through the combination of four different enzymes. What happens is when they're under stress or when they're under any kind of interesting situation where they have to have a big surge of Vitamin C to combat free radicals, their body will create more. If an animal is under stress, its liver or kidneys creates more Vitamin C to ultimately combat it. So we have sort of this evolutionary proof that Vitamin C does have an effect on neutralizing bad things within the body. The problem is, humans lack the ability to create that Vitamin C. If you look back at the old times, we look back at the Mayflower and Christopher Columbus and all of that stuff, people contracted scurvy. Well, the way that they contracted it was because it was a deficiency in Vitamin C because they weren't able to get it from exogenous sources. They weren't able to eat fruits and veggies when they were on ships, so therefore, they became Vitamin C deficient because their bodies couldn't synthesize it and manufacture it on their own. Now we're running into a similar situation because a lot of our fruits and vegetables are void of the nutrients that we need to get adequate amounts of Vitamin C. So of course we take Vitamin C supplements, no big deal, right? Then that leads us into megadosing Vitamin C because a lot of people have been asking me, Vitamin C, can we take it in megadoses to ultimately combat cancer, to ultimately combat illness, and what is the effect of taking it in extreme doses? Well, we have to take a look again at how it works in the animal world. You see, in the animal world, their livers are gonna produce enough Vitamin C to combat a stressful situation that is ebbing and flowing throughout the course of the day, meaning they might have a baseline level of ascorbic acid that they're making, then they get stressed out so their body creates more. Humans, we have to rely on taking it exogenously, and it's all because we lack that enzyme known as gulonolactone oxidase. Without gulonolactone oxidase, we cannot create Vitamin C. So if we take massive amounts of Vitamin C at one point in time, we are basically simulating an animal only creating extra Vitamin C at one point in time, when in reality, we need to be able to have surges of Vitamin C throughout the course of the day. 1) Blanchard J , et al. When I reviewed The Ordinary I mentioned how much I love their vitamin C cream and how I use it - and it started a conversation on YouTube and so many questions came up about vitamin C in skin care and so I've been putting vitamin C skin care to the test. Here is the truth about using it, how to make the best of it, when to apply it and how it can benefit your skin - plus my current favourite formulations and how they work. For Vitamin C to really tackle sun damage and pigmentation you need it at a decent strength - which means more than 10%, and up to 20% and even 30%. It will tingle, it can cause sensitivity - so take is easy and don't put it close to your eyes. 15 Amazing Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) Benefits The health benefits of vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid include prevention and treatment of scurvy, common cold, lead toxicity, and cancer. It aids in boosting the immune system, lowering hypertension, curing cataracts, combating stroke, maintaining the elasticity of skin, healing wounds, and controlling the symptoms of asthma. Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is one of the most effective and safest nutrients. It is a water-soluble vitamin and a powerful antioxidant in the synthesis of collagen, which helps to make blood vessels and body muscles strong. The human body doesn’t have the capacity to generate vitamin C. Therefore, it needs to be received through food and other supplements. Important Sources of Vitamin C The important sources of vitamin C are citrus fruits such as oranges and grapes. Strawberries, raspberries, cabbages, cauliflowers, other leafy vegetables, red peppers, potatoes, broccoli, chilies, watercresses, parsley, brussels sprouts, cantaloupes, mange touts, and kiwi fruits are also rich sources of this vitamin. Cooking food at low temperatures and for a shorter period is important to keep the vitamin C preserved and beneficial. Health Benefits of Vitamin C The health benefits of this amazing antioxidant are explained in detail below: Prevents Scurvy Scurvy is caused by an insufficient intake of ascorbic acid. The symptoms of scurvy appear due to the weakening of connective tissues, bones, and blood vessels that include collagen. Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, is required for the production of collagen. Treats Common Cold Vitamin C enhances the immune system of our body, which protects us from cold and cough. It facilitates the absorption of iron and, therefore, strengthens the body’s resistance to infection. It also fights against viruses. Lowers Hypertension People with hypertension are at a high risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Vitamin C intake helps in lowering body’s blood pressure. Treats Vasodilation Treatment with vitamin C has effectively resulted in the proper dilation of blood vessels in the cases of atherosclerosis, congestive heart failure, high cholesterol, angina pectoris, and high blood pressure. Results have found that supplements of this vitamin improve blood vessel dilation and protect cardiovascular health. Cures Lead Toxicity Lead toxicity is a severe health problem found mostly in children, especially in urban areas. Abnormal development and growth have been found in some children who are exposed to lead. They develop behavioral problems, learning disabilities, and also tend to have a low IQ. It may damage the kidneys and increase blood pressure in adults. Vitamin C supplements can reduce the blood lead level. Cures Cataracts (Eye Disorder) Cataracts are the most common conditions of visual problems. A decrease in the level of vitamin C in the lens of the human eye has been found more common when cataracts are present. An excessive intake of ascorbic acid increases the blood supply to the ocular areas of the body. Treats Cancer Researchers have found that a high consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits have a link to a minimized risk for various types of cancer. Studies have also shown that increased consumption of vitamin C is connected with a decreased possibility of cancer of the lungs, mouth, vocal chords, throat, colon, rectum, stomach, and esophagus. Combats Stroke Vitamin C helps in reducing the risk of stroke, a type of cardiovascular disease. A diet full of vegetables and fruits supplies a good quantity of this vitamin, which maintains the appropriate blood pressure level. It also protects the body from free radicals which could be the reason for the stroke. Improves your Mood Vitamin C plays a key role in the production of neurotransmitters like norepinephrine. They affect the mood of a person and are critical to the proper functioning of the brain. Boosts Immunity Immunity is another important benefit of this vitamin. Vitamin C is widely known for its contribution to the immune system and its stimulation of white blood vessels in the body. Repairs Wounds Vitamin C helps to repair wounds. It facilitates the growth of the connective tissues, which speeds up the process of healing wounds. Controls Asthma Ascorbic acid helps to reduce the symptoms of asthma. It helps to protect against the harmful effects of pollution in the human body, which often results in asthma-like symptoms. Cures Diabetes One of the chief reasons for diabetes, as found by various studies, is low levels of ascorbic acid. Supplements of vitamin C are beneficial as a cure for diabetes, as they help in the processing of insulin and glucose. Prevents Heart Diseases An adequate amount of ascorbic acid is essential for the protection of blood vessels from the damage that free radicals can cause them. This could be a major cause of a heart disease called atherosclerosis.

27 AMAZING BENEFITS OF VITAMIN C FOR SKIN, HAIR, AND HEALTH - SUPERFOODS YOU NEED This vitamin is so abundantly available that it is rare to be deficient in it. And what is rarer is finding someone who knows all about this wonder vitamin – the benefits of vitamin C. And that’s true, isn’t it? Not all of us know what this vitamin has to offer us. Hence, this post. Keep reading. What Is Vitamin C And What Does It Do? Also known as L-ascorbic acid, vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in some foods and added to a few others. And unlike most animals, humans cannot synthesize this vitamin – which is why it is an indispensable dietary component. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps regenerate other antioxidants in the body. It improves the absorption of non-heme iron and plays a vital role in building connective tissue and wound healing. It also delays the damaging effects of free radicals on the skin and body. At a moderate intake of 30 to 180 mg a day, 70 to 90% of the vitamin is absorbed. When the intake goes beyond 1 g a day, the absorption falls below 50%. There are different forms of vitamin C – Sodium ascorbate – 1000 mg of this vitamin contains 111 mg of sodium. Calcium ascorbate – 1000 mg of this vitamin contains 90 to 110 mg of calcium. Magnesium ascorbate – Daily intake of magnesium must not exceed 350 mg. Potassium ascorbate – Daily intake of potassium must not exceed 11 grams. Manganese ascorbate – Daily intake of manganese must not exceed 11 mg. Zinc ascorbate – Daily intake of zinc must not exceed 40 mg. Molybdenum ascorbate – Daily intake of molybdenum must not exceed 2 grams. Chromium ascorbate – The maximum daily intake of chromium has not been established. But the RDA is between 50 and 200 mcg for adults and teenagers. Except for sodium ascorbate and calcium ascorbate, the other forms of vitamin C are more likely to be found in combination with other mineral ascorbates or other minerals. Talking about vitamin C deficiency – What Is Vitamin C Deficiency And What Are The Signs? Vitamin C deficiency occurs, as is obvious, when the intake of vitamin C is inadequate. The signs include – Swollen or bleeding gums Inflammation of the gums (also called gingivitis) Slow wound healing Dry and splitting hair Rough and dry skin Nosebleeds Weak immunity Swollen and painful joints Possible weight gain Taking adequate vitamin C not only prevents these signs, but offers numerous other benefits as well – which is what we will see now – the many functions of vitamin C. What Are The Health Benefits Of Vitamin C? 1. Improves Heart Health As per one American study, vitamin C might play a role in reducing heart disease risk. Multiple cohort studies have demonstrated that higher plasma levels of vitamin C could be linked to reduced heart disease risk. More studies state that vitamin C could be as good as exercise for your heart. A regular dose of vitamin C can hinder the activity of a protein named endothelin-1, which leads to the constriction of small blood vessels – and this eventually causes heart attack. The vitamin can also lower your blood pressure and keep your arteries flexible. Vitamin C was also found to help the arteries dilate under stress – this improves blood flow, and hence, its oxygen carrying ability as well. Another Indian study states that fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C can prevent heart disease. The study says that a vitamin C-rich vegetarian diet can reduce blood cholesterol by 1%, which reduces the risk of heart attack by 2%. Vitamin C supplementation was also found to lower serum cholesterol levels, and this could help avert coronary heart disease. 2. Regulates Blood Pressure Levels As per a report by Johns Hopkins Medicine, large doses of vitamin C can lower blood pressure. This function of vitamin C could be attributed to its physiological and biological effects. Vitamin C acts as a diuretic and causes the kidneys to remove more sodium and water from the body – this relieves the pressure on blood vessel walls. Vitamin C also protects your body’s supply of nitric oxide, a molecule known to relax the blood vessels. The blood pressure lowering effect can be attributed to supplements as well – consuming vitamin C supplements in a dose of 500 mg in a day could reduce systolic blood pressure by 4 points and diastolic blood pressure by 1.5 points – in a period of 2 months. Vitamin C, according to another Italian study, also enhances vasodilation (the dilation of blood vessels that decreases blood pressure). And it even prevents vasoconstriction.

Antioxidants are important in a skin care routine to protect the skin cells from damage and collagen loss. They can help to encourage new cell and tissue growth and help the skin to look younger! Here are two tips on how to get the most anti-aging benefits from topical antioxidants. Paula's Choice skincare research says that antioxidants work better when they are used together, so using multiple antioxidants on the skin is most beneficial. Dr. Neal Schultz (dermatologist) says antioxidants need to be applied at night to absorb the free radicals from skin cells. Before and After Photos using Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Serum Available through Amazon.com click here http://bit.ly/Vit-C-Serum See Time Lapse Photos from using Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Serum can do in just a few short weeks. Read the Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid User Reviews. Using Serum C 20 Plus, a High Potency Anti Aging Organic Skin Care formulation, made up of 20% Vitamin C with 11% Hyaluronic Acid and other Vitamins and Minerals. Made in USA with Certified Organic Ingredients in an FDA facility. Why Use 20% Vitamin C? Because 20% is potent enough to make a difference and for its Effectiveness ! Vitamin C when applied topically is up to 20% more effective for skin rejuvenation, compare to when consuming it. As stated by Dr Oz and Leading Plastic Surgeons Vitamin C is more effective when applied topically, “can drop a decade from you face” Why Use 11% Hyaluronic Acid? Again, an effective amount to give your skin Plumpness and Hydration without causing adverse reactions which is why it is used in a lot of anti-aging skin care products and it complements the Vitamin C. What is the difference between normal Hyaluronic Acid compared to Vegan/Botanical Hyaluronic Acid? Whilst it does have acid in the name and that does sound alarming, as you would expect when applying anything with a funny name ending with acid on your body, it will not act as you expect an acid would, rather it will boost skin elasticity and hydration, giving skin a plumper more radiant look and feel, which you will feel from when you first apply it. The Hyaluronic Acid in C20 Plus is Botanical formulation. Derived from the Cassia Anguѕtіfоlіа Sееd Pоlуѕассhаrіdе, this Vegan friendly hyaluronic acid works as well as, if not better than normal hyaluronic acid which is in a lot of beauty products, this is made from Rooster parts – yuck! Why Use Vitamin E, Ferulic Acid and other Vitamins and Minerals? Vitamin E optimizes the Vitamin C, and vice versa, when used together both provide anti-oxidant skin protection. The other ingredients Ferulic Acid, Aloe Vera, Jojoba further enhance skin repair, protection and overall improvement. How do I use Serum C Plus? Easy, use with your current skin care routine. Apply after washing your face, and if you use, after toner, let it dry, which will be quick and just prior to moisturizer. Unlike a lot of other serums, this one will not leave an oily residue and has a pleasant smell. Suitable for All Skin types and Ages By in confidence through amazon.com http://bit.ly/Vit-C-Serum For more information http://the-bestskincareproducts.com/
