How Much Vitamin C Should I Take ? |Dr.Michael Greger

03:01
How Much Vitamin C Should I Take ? Dr.Michael Greger For many years, the RDA (the recommended daily allowance) for vitamins was just based on preventing deficiency with a margin of safety. But, the minuscule amount of vitamin C, for example, needed to avoid scurvy is not necessarily the ideal intake for optimal health. So, what might be the optimal intake of vitamin C? Let’s ask the body. How might we do that? By seeing how much the body absorbs and excretes. Experiments showing how much vitamin C our body absorbs and excretes can give us a sense of how many vitamin C rich fruits and vegetables we should be take each day. How Much Omega 3 Do We Really Need Per Day? (The Real Dose)

05:33
In this video you'll find out how much omega 3 you need to take per day for best results. ►If you found this video helpful hit Subscribe to support the channel and share the video with your friends to spread the word◄ Disclaimer: Before taking any supplements please consult with your physician, this video just includes general recommendations. Key points: The nutrition label on your omega 3 fish oil supplement can be misleading if you're not sure what you're looking for. The two main compounds we're looking for are EPA and DHA. They stand for for eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. And the standard capsule of an Omega 3 supplement has only about 300 mg of these 2 combined. The effective dose for total EPA/DHA intake is 1.8-3.0 grams per day. That's between 6 to 10 of standard capsules, and the nutrition label will often say that you only need 1 or 2 per day. Higher concentration supplements are also available, and they usually come at a higher price point. The dosage would be split at least morning and evening (taken with meals). Why take omega 3? "If there is a single nutrient that is almost impossible to achieve adequate amounts of with the modern diet (outside of the handful of people who eat a lot of fatty fish), it’s the w-3 fish oils. In a very real sense, fish oils ‘do everything’ and impact on not only overall health but help to control inflammation, promote fat oxidation, inhibit fat storage and a host of others. It’s a list of benefits that seems almost too good to be true but the research is there. Due to their general unavailability in the food supply, supplementation is almost necessary and both pills (containing varying amounts of the active EPA/DHA) and liquids are available. Both are acceptable and some people simply prefer the liquids (which can be used on salads or in blender drinks) to pills (which often cause burps)." Full text at - http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/muscle-gain/supplements-part-1.html Omega 3 as a fat burning supplement: "Of all the types of dietary fat, it is the omega-3 class that has the greatest effect on enhancing lipolysis. The primary way in which omega-3s exert these effects is by acting as metabolic fuel partitioners, upregulating lipid oxidation. and downregulating lipid sythesis (5). This is accomplished on several different fronts: First, omega-3s increase the fluidity of cell membranes (1). Cell membranes serve a critical function by regulating the passage of nutrients, hormones, and chemical signals into and out of cells. When cell membranes are fluid, they b allow substancesto readily penetrate into the cytoplasm. This has wide-ranging effects, from increasing muscle protein synthesis to enhancing glycogen storage to improving insulin sensitivity to boosting leptin production, factors that can have a tangible effect on lipolysis." How Much Vitamin C is Too Much? | How Much Vitamin C Can I Take | Best Form of Vitamin C

06:31
How much vitamin C is too much? One thing to remember is that if you have been taking the right forms of vitamin C, there has been no one who has come down with vitamin C toxicity, no adverse health claim has been accepted by all natural and allopathic health professionals, no child has been hospitalized because of vitamin C overdose, like other forms of synthetic drugs. ==================================== Support Us On Patreon: http://bit.ly/2wFag54 ==================================== The fact is we have to look at what time of vitamin C we are talking about. We can’t just generalize all vitamin C in one group and say well taking too much vitamin C is not good for you. Are we talking about synthetic forms of vitamin c, are we talking about fruit based vitamin C, like acerola, kiwi and oranges, are we talking about vitamin c supplementations that come with other additives and preservatives? In today’s over-toxify world, with its pesticides, aluminum , GMOs, plastics and the rest of it taking high doses of a powerful anti-oxidant like vitamin C on a daily bases not only is NOT harmful but is absolutely essential. We can group vitamin c into 3 different categories. I will go over them and leave the links in the description for you guys to check out. ==== 1. Oral Vitamin C in Pure Powder ===== Sodium Ascorbate: http://amzn.to/1U5wTsJ Ascorbic Acid: http://amzn.to/1pA5d2E Almost all of vitamin C supplements will have about 20% absorption at best. There are two forms of vitamin C that have been extensively researched and have enough clinical evidence to prove that they absolutely safe with no harmful side effects when taken in oral forms. And these are Asocrbic acid and Sodium ascorbate, which I recommend.... and you will have no health problems with them. You see, vitamin c in general is a water soluble supplement that means your guts can only retain a certain amount at a given time. If you take too much of it at one time it will just pass through your guts as loose stool which is medically called “vitamin C flush”. Everyone has a different vitamin C flush. Someone may hit flush at 5 Hitting vitamin C flush is not a bad thing, actually Dr. Thomas Levy (one of the world’s leading Vitamin C researcher) says that is not necessary a bad thing, it’s actually a good thing. He recommends people hit vitamin C flush a couple of times a week to clean out their guts. Basically you want to take either Ascorbic Acid or Sodium Ascorbate in pure powder form with no additives, colors or sweeteners. Just look at the back of the product and make sure that it’s just  that. The products I use are usually from Now foods, which I found to be relatively of quality. I personally recommend Sodium asocrobate over Ascorbic Asci, simply because it an alkaline form of vitamin C, and it lasts in the blood stream about 3 times longer. Start with a couple of grams in water or a juice and build up after a few hours or day by day until you hid vitamin C flush. Don’t worry nothing will happen, you will just a get a semi-loose to loose stool or bowel movement. After you find out what flush amount simply cut back a gram or 2 and keep having your mega doses of vitamin c everyday and your body will thank you for it and you will be happier and healthier. ==== IV vitamin C ==== This is great form of vitamin C for anyone who is suffering from a chronic condition including cancer patients, heart patients, people with diabetes etc. For this form of vitamin C, the recommendation is to go see a naturopath or a medical personal who is certified to administer IV. ==== Liposomal Vitamin C === http://amzn.to/1Uj4GgS By far the best form of vitamin C is Liposomal encapsulated Vitamin C. This is a 21st century technology of turning water soluble vitamin C in to fat soluble, which has gained a lot of attention. Basically, by encapsulating water soluble vitamin C molecules in lipid (or fat) molecules, it has given us the ability to take vitamin C orally and have an amazing absorption of nearly 99%. ==== Vitamin C Safety ==== http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/vitamins/vitamin-C ==== SUBSCRIBE HERE ==== https://goo.gl/RzVkxo ========================= Other inquires: different types of vitamin C, different vitamin c, different vitamin c supplements, different kinds of vitamin c, Best Type of Vitamin C, What is the Best Vitamin C, Best Form of Vitamin C, How Much Vitamin C is Too Much, Most Bioavailable Form of Vitamin C, Signs of Too Much Vitamin C, Can Too Much Vitamin C Be Harmful, How Much Vitamin C is Needed Daily, How Much Vitamin C Can I Take, Adult How Much Vitamin C A Day, Vitamin C Overdose Side Effects How much vitamin C Dr. Levy recommends

How Many Eggs Can I Eat Per Day?

Keto Health Summit: https://ketohealthsummit.com Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 In this video, Dr. Berg talks about how many eggs can be consumed per day. Eggs have a lot of nutrition, tons of fat soluble vitamins (vitamin A, k2, E), Omega 3 Fatty Acids, high quality proteins, B vitamin, lutein and zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin are very powerful phytonutrients or antioxidants to repair any potential damage that occurs in the artery walls or the eyes. He also talks about cholesterol on eggs and how our bodies makes a lot of cholesterol. Different Egg Labels: • Cage Free • Free Range • Natural • Veg. Feed – Fed using Soy beans and Corn (GMO) • Pasture-Raised and Organic Eggs – The eggs that we have to consume. It has a definition of “Out in the pasture in the grass”. Someone in my podcast ask the question, how many eggs can I eat per day. The first thing I am gonna talk about is when you actually buy eggs, you'll see them in many different labels packages, cage free eggs, free range, natural, or eggs fed vegetarian feed, this really means nothing. Because cage free means they are outside the cage but they are still in the barn, free range again the definition is very limited who knows what that means, natural there is no real legal definition of what natural means I mean what would be, there is an artificial eggs? then we have vegetarian feed which only tells you that you can only feed with soybeans, corn which are both GMO we don't want that. We want the pasture-raised eggs. Pasture-raised has the definition of "Out of the Pasture, in the grass." That's where we want them living and eating grass and bugs and things like that. And we definitely want organic on top of that. Organic and Pasture-raised, not Pasturized. Now the cool thing about eggs is they have a lot of nutrition, tons of fat soluble vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin k2, vitamin E, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, high quality proteins, it is like a complete perfect food, it has B vitamin, the only vitamin it doesn't have is vitamin C. And that is why we need to eat other things too like salad and things like that. It even has lutein and zeaxanthin which are very powerful phytonutrients or antioxidants specifically to repair any potential damage that occurs in the artery walls or the eyes. And so if we have a repair action right here, the cholesterol in the eggs are not gonna accumulate. So even though eggs have cholesterol, your body makes cholesterol a lot like 3,000mg. so when you eat more, your body makes less. And you are gonna actually have higher amounts of good cholesterol as well. Having more cholesterol is not gonna be damaging especially if you have the antioxidant to protect the wall of the artery because the problem is never been the cholesterol in the first place. The problem is the oxidative damage on the artery wall which then the cholesterol comes as the band aid to heal it. Cholesterol is never been the villain, cholesterol is needed to support brain and nerve function and all the cell walls. Cholesterol is needed to make bile and vitamin D, it is needed to make hormones. There are more problems with low cholesterol than there is in high cholesterol. What Is The Right Amount Of Vitamin B12 To Take Daily

07:09
What Is The Right Amount Of Vitamin B12 To Take Daily https://www.anoasisofhealing.com/how-much-vitamin-b12-do-i-need/ A question I’m asked a lot is what is the right amount of vitamin b12 to take daily? How many micrograms of b12 should we consume when being on a whole foods plant based diet? The recommendations based on certain studies that you read recommend 2 to 7 micrograms of b12 a day. However, we actually need to take more than that because of the different abilities to absorb. You can take 50, 100 and as much as 1,000 micrograms a day of vitamin b12 depending on your ability to absorb. You can follow your b12 levels to find out what’s really being absorbed and how much you really need. The body only needs 2 to 7 micrograms of b12 absorbed per day for optimal functioning. What does b12 actually do in the body? It’s involved in the central nervous system and in the peripheral nervous system in its growth and development. It is also part of what is necessary to make blood and red blood cells. It’s involved in dna synthesis and has many other functions and activities it’s involved with in the body. It is very important and every cells uses it. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgEvpazxx5NNyyGd_19VJRmmhR-Mzacvy https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR0Y7icMoXgQZaepRkJlHzg/videos

How Much Vitamin D Should I Take

04:45
http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free report and video guide to shopping for dietary supplements! Today I'm going to be answering the question how much vitamin D should I take, as well why you really should care. Some health professionals believe that as much as 50-75% of the U.S. population is deficient in vitamin D or what some people call the sunshine vitamin. Worldwide perhaps a billion people. So who cares right? Well a deficiency has been linked to all kinds of health problems. This includes heart problems, weak bones, cancer as well as making it easier for a virus to make a home in your body. Traditionally many people got this vitamin through the sun, but do you see a problem with this? Yea, thanks to living in a modern society more people work indoors, drive cars and watch TV. To make matters even worse it's not easy to get through food. This is why a supplement can really be a great choice. Overdosing on vitamin D can occur, but it's really rare. Someone would have to take several thousand international units or IU for several months in a row to overdose. This is much higher than any supplement would recommend. The symptoms of an overdose could include nausea, headaches, frequent urination and the most serious condition would be kidney problems. When it comes to the ideal dose of vitamin D not everyone agrees, and the debate is still going on. The National Institutes of Health feel that adults should receive 200 IU daily. If someone is between 50 to 70 years of age then the dosage should be increased to 400 IU daily. Lastly if a person makes it to 70 years of age then they should get 600 IU every day. Some people feel this dosage should be increased like the famous American TV Dr. called Dr. OZ. He feels that adults should take 1,000 IU every day. Another very influential doctor called Dr. Weil recommends 2,000 IU every single day. Also the vitamin D Council recommends that healthy adults take 2,000 IU of vitamin D daily as well as Boston University Medical Center. Considering you need at least 5,000 IU of vitamin D to somewhat have a chance of an overdose taking 1,000 or 2,000 IU shouldn't pose a problem for many people. Next comes finding a good supplement to get this vitamin D. Contrary to what you may believe not all vitamins and supplements are the same. More bad news is that it's easy for companies to make crappy products that can actually harm people. To make shopping for dietary supplements simpler and easier I have created a video guide on the topic. This guide goes over 10 warning signs of a risky product, what to take for certain medical problems, herbal remedies and even some crazy alternative health ideas that actually work. Oh, and before I forget this guide is completely free so you don't have any good reason not to at least learn more about it. How Much Vitamin C Do You Need?

07:23
The RDA for vitamin C is enough to prevent scurvy, but not enough to prevent heart attacks, strokes, cancer and many infectious diseases. According to the Linus Pauling Institute, we should raise the RDA from 70 mg in women and 90 mg in men to 200 mg per day. While we could get 200 mg per day in our diets, few of us consume 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. In addition we live in a sea of toxins that lead to considerable free radical stress, and we don't have the antioxidant reserves we need to neutralize them. The actual amount of vitamin C we need depends on our situation, which can include infections, cancer, toxic exposures, stress, insufficient sleep, diet, smoking and many other lifestyle factors. The amount we need varies from a low of 200 mg per day to more than 100,000 mg per day (100 grams). The concept of bowel tolerance is discussed as is the use of intravenous vitamin C. (Benefits & Proper Dosage) http://www.SeanNal.com/articles/supplementation/vitamin-d-bodybuilding.php The number of supplements out there that I would place on my "highly recommended" list are extremely few and far between, but for the majority of individuals, vitamin d is definitely one of them. Vitamin D benefits are quite lengthy, ranging from optimizing testosterone production to balancing mood to improving bone health to enhancing cognitive function. Unfortunately, most people in today's modern society do have a small (or large) vitamin D deficiency and aren't receiving enough each day for optimal health. Unless you spend many hours a day outside in the sun or live in a very warm climate, it's almost certain that you should be including a vitamin D3 supplement in your bodybuilding and fat loss plan. Although it won't have any serious direct effects on muscle growth or fat loss, its many positive health benefits will definitely carry over and help you out in the big picture. How much vitamin D is necessary? It will vary from person to person and you'd ultimately need to get blood work done to know for sure, but a vitamin d dosage of around 2000-5000IU per day is a good guideline. (The risk of toxicity is very low) Do vitamin supplements work? Yes, the research has clearly shown that supplementing with vitamin D3 will raise and sustain levels in the blood. It's also relatively inexpensive which is an added bonus. Again, vitamin D is not going to have any magical muscle growth effects, but it's still definitely a worthwhile supplement to consume. For example, its effects on mood and well being may improve your overall drive and motivation in and out of the gym... its effects on immune system function can help to fight off sickness... and its effects on optimizing testosterone could help out if your levels are particularly low. So, to correct your vitamin d deficiency and get all of the vitamin d benefits outlined in this video, I would highly recommend consuming a vitamin d3 supplement each day. For the best effects, take it with a meal (ideally one that contains some fat) in the morning or afternoon.

Two Per Day Multivitamin | Life Extension

Are you taking a low dose multivitamin to stave off vitamin deficiencies? What if you could do so much more with a higher quality, higher dosed multivitamin...would you make the switch? A generic multivitamin like Centrum® follows the recommended daily intake or RDI. This level of dosing does one thing and one thing only ...prevents deficiencies. Let me give you an example. Centrum® provides just 60 mg of vitamin C, which is a little less than the RDI. At that daily dose you'll probably avoid developing vitamin C deficiency. But what about the many health benefits attributed to vitamin C - health benefits like a stronger immune system, a healthy heart and cardiovascular system and even youthful looking skin? Will 100 mg a day provide you benefits like these? The answer is simple: No. To reap the full benefits of this essential vitamin you'll need a product that provides optimal daily doses, what we call the ODI. Based on scientific evidence, the ODI of vitamin C is 2000 mg a day ...not 100. And this dramatic difference between the RDI and ODI is seen in many other vitamins like the B vitamins and vitamin D. Life Extension's Two per Day multivitamin uses the ODI to dose its vitamins and minerals not the RDI that many popular generic multivitamins use. So ...now that you know Life Extension's Two per Day multivitamin exceeds dosing expectations, will you make the switch? For more information, please visit http://www.lef.org today!

Vitamin C | Benefits, Dosage, Supplements and Foods | Hindi

Although most adults would be hard pressed to name a good food source of biotin or riboflavin, most everyone can name citrus fruits as good sources of vitamin C. It is also a commonly used nutritional supplement. The first use of modern scientific methods to assess disease treatment was when the British navy used foods containing vitamin C (although the vitamin itself would remain undiscovered for nearly two centuries) to prevent scurvy among sailors. You could make a good case that this nutrition experiment is among the most important scientific findings in human history. Despite the familiarity of the U.S. public with vitamin C and the popularity of vitamin C supplements, food intake of vitamin C by the average U.S. adult is not much higher than the Dietary Reference Intake (DRI) level. For men in the U.S. twenty years and older, this average is 96 milligrams per day, and for women in the U.S. twenty years and older, it is 82 milligrams per day. (The DRIs for these two groups are 90 milligrams and 75 milligrams, respectively.) So even though U.S. adults are averaging adequate intake of vitamin C intake from their food, the amount is not as high as some people might expect given widespread familiarity and interest in vitamin C. Of the World's Healthiest Foods, a staggering 27 rate as excellent sources of vitamin C. Six of these contain a full day's requirement of vitamin C in a single serving. We also rate 14 very good and 14 good sources of the vitamin. This should give you plenty of variety with which to build a menu plan that easily exceeds your vitamin C goal. Role in Health Support Protection Against Excess Free Radicals Vitamin C is probably best known as an antioxidant. This is a word that we use frequently but don't always stop to think about in terms of its meaning. Antioxidants are forms of molecules that help keep chemical reactions in our body in check. In particular, antioxidants help prevent excessive activity on the part of free radical molecules. (Free radicals are forms of molecules that tend to be very reactive, and too many free radicals in the wrong place at the wrong time can do damage to our cells and tissue.) Vitamin C and other antioxidants help prevent that damage. Damage to the lens of the eye, damage to molecules circulating around in our bloodstream, and damage to genetic material (DNA) in our cells are all examples of damage that have been shown to be prevented under certain circumstances by vitamin C. One interesting application of vitamin C as an antioxidant is its ability to transform iron into a state that is better absorbed in the intestine. Including vitamin C-rich foods in recipes with your best iron sources can potentially be a way to enhance iron absorption. Collagen Vitamin C is required to produce collagen, a protein that plays a critical role in the structure of our bodies. Collagen is the framework for our skin and our bones, and without it, we would quite literally fall apart. This is exactly what we see with severe vitamin C deficiency, or scurvy. People who have this condition lose teeth, bleed easily, and lose the strength of their bones. Luckily, it doesn't take much vitamin C to prevent this problem. As we've known for more than two centuries, a single lime per day would usually be enough. (However, as described earlier, we have dozens and dozens of great food choices that will give us as much vitamin C as a single lime!) Brain Health Vitamin C is necessary to make certain neurotransmitters. These neurotransmitters are the signals that carry thoughts, feelings, and commands around our brains and throughout our nervous system. In particular, we need vitamin C to produce serotonin, a hormone that plays a critical role in wide variety of body systems, including the nervous system, endocrine system, immune system, and digestive system. Many of our moods, daily bodily rhythms (including sleep-wake cycles), and experiences of stress and pain have serotonin included as a factor in their occurrence. Some of the most commonly used prescription medications for depression (SSRIs, or Selective Serotonin Reupdate Inhibitors) also target this hormone. While we are not suggesting that dietary intake of vitamin C will automatically improve the quality of any experiences described above, we do recommend that you include vitamin C-rich foods on a daily basis as part of your overall well-being.

How to Blast Belly Fat with Vitamin D- Thomas DeLauer

06:32
How Vitamins D & K Blast Belly Fat is an in-depth explanation of the many benefits of vitamins D and K and how they work together to battle belly fat. Find out what the best food sources for these and how they actually help to clot the blood and assist the body in absorbing calcium. Learn all about the supplements that are most important with my coaching Blogs and Videos at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com How Vitamin D3 Works 1. Vitamin D was discovered in 1920 where its importance in our bodies was realized in discovering a way to cure rickets, a painful bone disease in children (2) 2. Vitamin D fortified foods began within a decade, making rickets rare in the US (2) 3. Vitamins are defined as an essential nutrient that your body cannot produce on its own and must acquire from the diet - Vitamin D is not actually a vitamin, but a hormone, which is a chemical that regulates body physiology. (1) a. Your skin makes vitamin D when exposed to sunlights, so it does not need to acquire it from food if adequate sunlight is available (2) i. The only natural foods that contain vitamin D are fish and egg yolks (2) What Does Vitamin D Do? 1. We are discovering more and more ways that the body utilized vitamin D as time goes on a. Vitamin D receptors, proteins that bind to vitamin D, exists in many of the body’s tissues, including the heart, muscles, endocrine glands, prostate and many others. (2) 2. Bone health - vitamin D is essential for our bodies to be able to absorb calcium. Without enough vitamin D, the body absorbs only 10-15% of dietary calcium, versus 30-40% when our vitamin D levels are normal. How to Get Enough Vitamin D Now that we understand how important vitamin D is in our bodies, and how likely it is that we do not have enough, how do we get more? 1. Sunlight - It can be a good idea to first spend a bit of time in the sun before applying sunscreen a. spend 10-15 minutes three times per week without sunscreen on. This may be enough to prevent deficiencies (5) 2. Fatty fish, such as salmon, tuna and mackerel, and egg yolks (5) 3. Fortified foods: Many foods have been fortified with vitamin D, so look for this at your grocery store. Such foods include some milks, yogurts, orange juices and cereals (2) 4. Mushroom trick: mushrooms are a great source of natural vitamin D a. Exposing mushrooms to sunlight prior to eating them will ramp up their vitamin D levels! So sit them on your window sill or backyard prior to adding them to your food (6) 5. UV Lamps a. They are similar to tanning beds, but not identical. They carry the same skin-cancer risk as the sun or tanning beds, so be careful not to overdo it. These are a great option for those who live where there is little access to direct sunlight (8) 6. Supplementation: Last is supplementation. It is best to obtain some sunlight and concentrate on adding additional vitamin D in your diet. That being said, if you believe you are lacking vitamin D you can always buy supplements. Total recommended intake can vary from about 200 IU to 400 IU per day, including what you get from diet and sunlight. (5) 1. If You Eat 2 Eggs at Breakfast For a Month, This is What Happens to Your Body

03:16
Please Subscribe! ▶ https://goo.gl/ksfh7M Eggs, whether boiled, poached, or scrambled, they are a great way to start your day. These little orbs are a great source of protein and amino-acids. Proteins are the building blocks of life. Every cell in the human-body contains protein. The basic structure of protein is a chain of amino-acids. You need protein in your diet to help your body repair cells and make new ones. Eggs are one of the few foods with complete proteins, that is, they contain proper proportions of all nine essential amino acids required by the body. They are also packed with numerous vitamins and minerals including Vitamin-A, vitamin-B12, Vitamin-D, Vitamin-E, folate, selenium, choline, and others. Eggs are one of the highest protein breakfast options One of the key steps you can take to help manage their appetite throughout the morning is to ensure that their breakfast choice has enough protein. 2-eggs served with 2 slices of wholegrain toast contain at least 20g of protein, much of which is of ‘high biological value’ protein, which means it is easily used in the body. This means that choosing eggs for breakfast will give you at least 25% more protein than other popular breakfast choices. Here are few of the many Amazing Health Benefits your body receives If You Eat 2 Eggs at Breakfast For a Month 1.Eggs Raises the Good Cholesterol Eating eggs leads to elevated levels of HDL (High-density lipoprotein), which is also known as the “good” cholesterol. People who have higher HDL levels have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke and other health issues. According to one study, eating two eggs a day for six weeks increased the good-cholesterol level by 10-percent. 2.Can Help You lose That Extra weight Forget counting calories and cutting out carbs. The key to losing weight could be as simple as having 2-eggs for breakfast. Scientists have shown that those who start their day with poached, boiled or scrambled eggs can lose up to two-thirds more weight than others. The secret of the egg's success lies in its ability to make us feel full for longer than many other foods there-by consuming less calories. 3.Eggs help with brain development and memory. Choline, an essential nutrient found in eggs, stimulates brain development and function. It has also been linked with increasing memory-power and alertness 4.2 Eggs at breakfast can protect your eyesight. Two antioxidants, leutin and zeaxanthin, are present in eggs and have been linked to protecting eyes from damage related to Ultra-Violet exposure. They have also been associated with reducing the likelihood of developing cataracts in your old age 5.Strong Bones Hard-boiled eggs provide Vitamin-D to keep your bones and teeth strong. Vitamin-D promotes the absorption of calcium and regulates calcium levels in your blood. This process ensures that your skeleton gets the calcium it needs for strength and structure. You need 600 international units of Vitamin-D each day, reports the Office of Dietary Supplements. You get about 45 international units of Vitamin-D from one large hard-boiled egg. The fat in avocados can increase your absorption of carotinoids (pre-vitamin A) as well as the conversion of carotinoids to retinol (the active form of vitamin A). Avocados also contain vitamin B5 and omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. They are excellent for a ketogenic diet since they are high in fat and low in carbs. Glutamine dosage; How Much Should You Take?

03:58
Supplementing with glutamine - a conditionally essential amino acid - offers many benefits. But what's the right dose? How much glutamine should you take? Watch to find out! Subscribe: Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/user/ultimatefatburner/?sub_confirmation=1 Visit web site: http://www.ultimatefatburner.com Other glutamine videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk2mWkuRCTaWbIyeY3UV5vUkMfLK-OqRI Hey, Paul here from Ultimate Fat Burner.com and I'm going to talk about glutamine dosage - how much glutamine should you take. I'll be right back with answer in just a couple of seconds, stick around, I'll be right back. Alright, welcome back. Thanks for hanging in there. OK, so what's the ideal glutamine dosage? Well, this is kind of a trick question, because glutamine been studied for its therapeutic uses in all sorts of things - for example, to help people recover after major surgery, to increase nutrient absorption in wasting diseases like HIV/Aids, and even for preventing drops in lympocyte counts in people with esophageal cancer. Dosage has ranged from 8-40 grams per day. Some studies used child cancer patients used a dosage based on bodyweight - from .35 to .65 grams per kilogram of bodyweight per day. So for those who aren't used to the metric system, take your body weight, divide that by 2.2, and multiply that by either .35 or .65 to give your total for the day. For example, if you weigh 200 lbs, 200 divided by 2.2 = 90.9 That's your weight in KG. 90.9 X .35 = 31 90.9 X .65 = 59 Now these are all fairly high doses, and in my opinion unless you are taking it for some of the reasons I mentioned, you won't need such a high dose to reap the benefits. If you're using glutamine as a recovery supplement, to crush sugar cravings or for some its bodybuilding benefits not related to increases in strength performance - because it doesn't work for that - I'd recommend a minimum 10 grams per day to start in two divided doses, and you can always bump that up to 20 or 30 grams per day if you're not seeing the results you were hoping for. What I don't recommend is experimenting with anything less than 5 grams per day - glutamine is used extensively by the gut and unless you a take a pretty hefty dose, very little of it will actually get into your system and do anything. It's a supplement that needs to be taken in multi-gram doses to be effective which is why I recommend you buy it in powder form and in bulk. It's simply not cost effective to buy the tablets. Glutamine is tastless, and it's easy to just to stir into a glass of water and swallow it back. This is also a good reminder that if you see a product that contains a few hundred milligrams of glutamine in the formula, it's pretty much there to make the label look more impressive, since it won't actually accomplish anything at this low dose. One last thing... Glutamine in a very safe supplement - but because its metabolised into glutamate and ammonia it may cause problems for people with some psychiatric diseases. It may also interfere with some medications for epilepsy, so if you suffer from either condition make sure you see a medicalprofessional before experimenting. If you're a cancer patient, this is even more important - make sure your oncologist is on board before using glutamine. Alright guys, that's wrap thanks for watching. If you liked this video, I'd love it if you gave it a thumbs up, and if you think your friends would like it too, a share would be awesome as well. If have any questions or comments, or have used glutamine yourself and want to share the experience please leave a comment below. And of course, if you haven't subscribed to this channel I have to ask What are you waiting for? Be nice to have you aboard. Youtube will send you a quick note whenever new videos so you'll never miss anything. Thanks again for watching, and I'll see you really soon. Video URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlH5cvfoUas
