How to Raise Low Blood Pressure Quickly A ) Changing Your Diet 1 Drink plenty of water. Low blood pressure can accompany dehydration, so you may be able to raise your blood pressure by increasing your water intake. Aim to drink at least eight to ten 8 oz cups of water per day. You should drink more water if this doesn’t help your symptoms or if you spend time outdoors or exercising. Health drinks with electrolytes can also help raise blood pressure, but you should avoid drinks with high sugar content. 2 Eat smaller meals more frequently. Eating several small meals, rather than one or two large meals, can help regulate your blood sugar and blood pressure. Aim to make these meals healthy and low in carbohydrates. When you do eat carbohydrates, avoid processed carbs such as pasta and white bread. Go for complex carbs instead, such as oatmeal, whole grain pasta, whole grain bread, and barley. 3 Balance your diet. An important way to regulate your blood pressure and improve your overall health is to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet. A balanced diet includes lean meats and fish, whole grains, and a lot of fruits and vegetables. Avoid heavily processed foods that are high in sugar and fat. While these do often contain higher levels of sodium, they are not a healthy source of other nutrients. 4 Increase your Vitamin B12 and folate consumption. These vitamins contribute to a healthy blood pressure function and circulation. Fortified cereal contains both minerals. Some other sources of B12 include fish and dairy products such a cheese, milk, and yogurt. Folate can be found in dark green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach 5 Reduce alcohol consumption. Alcohol contributes to dehydration, even if consumed in moderation. If you have problems with low blood pressure, you should avoid drinking alcohol in any amount 6 Drink caffeine. Caffeine constricts blood vessels, which can increase blood pressure. Increasing your caffeine intake by a moderate amount can help raise your blood pressure 7 Try taking herbal remedies. Herbal remedies are not proven to help blood pressure, but there is anecdotal evidence that some herbs may lessen the effects of low blood pressure. Some of these include aniseed and rosemary. Adding these to your diet may offer some benefits, but you should ask your doctor before taking any herbal supplements. Cooking with these herbs is unlikely to have measurable effects, however. Ginger may actually lower blood pressure, so do not use ginger supplements if you already have low blood pressure. Cinnamon may also lower your blood pressure. Do not use cinnamon supplements if you have low blood pressure. Pepper may also lower blood pressure. B ) Making Lifestyle Changes 1 Change body positions slowly. To reduce the effects of blood-pressure-related dizziness, be slow and deliberate with your motions. Use particular care when moving from lying down to sitting or from sitting to standing. 2 Avoid crossing your legs while sitting. Crossing your legs can restrict your circulation. In order to maintain healthy circulation to your body, try to sit with your legs comfortably resting with your knees about hip-width apart.

How I lowered my dad's blood pressure, without drugs or diets ►►http://drsam.co/yt/SeeItYourself ======================================= Top 10 Causes Of High Blood Pressure ======================================= 1. AGE Most people don’t realize that AGE is one of the BIGGEST factors for high blood pressure. I discuss this in my very important article, but what’s important to note is that after the age of 40, 33% of the population has high blood pressure and after the age of 60, over 71% of the population has hypertension! So, if you’re over the age of 40 and have high blood pressure, it may not be your fault. But it IS your responsibility to fix it right away and here is how I lowered my dad’s blood pressure naturally, in just 30 days. 2. GENETICS & FAMILY HISTORY Well, not much can be done here. This is in fact my own problem because I have a family history (on my dad’s side) of hypertension, heart attacks and especially strokes. You can read more about it, include my personal favorite solution that my dad, my family and I use to promote healthy blood pressure levels, naturally! 3. SMOKING Come on people, smoking has NO health benefits. STOP smoking! 4. ALCOHOL A little bit of alcohol is okay, especially if it’s organic red wine. But drinking every night will cause damage to your heart, arteries and liver. Alcohol is a toxic and it’s acidic, both being bad for your body. 5. BEING OVERWEIGHT Similar to smoking, being overweight has no health benefits. And the older you get, the harder it is to lose that unwanted fat. 6. SODIUM Salt has its benefits actually. Regular table salt or salt found in processed foods and packages is BAD for you. However, “natural” salts such as Himalayan rock or Celtic sea salt is GOOD for you and can actually help LOWER blood pressure. I’ll discuss this in a future article. 7. STRESS Well know stress is bad. However, you can’t get rid of it. What’s important is the MEANING you give to stressful situations. If you freak out, get negative and focus on the problem the entire time … you put your body under extra stress. The secret is to focus on the SOLUTION and to know that “this too shall pass” and worrying about the problem isn’t going to help anything… Especially our blood pressure or heart. 8. LACK OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY We sit too much these days. Just get outside and walk daily, even if it’s just for 15-20 minutes. It’ll do wonders for your physical AND mental health! 9. MEDICAL CONDITIONS This goes back to “genetics”. And if you know you have a genetic “problem”, which is making things worse, then you MUST make changes to your life-style because your body is more sensitive than the average person. This is a similar problem with my dad and why he had a stroke. 10. MEDICATION Ironically, many “heart” medications actually cause more heart PROBLEMS in the long run. They can increase your cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure levels. They can decrease blood flow and circulation. And they all cause extra stress on your liver and kidneys, which then cause more problems for your heart. How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerBPNow 5 Best Foods For Lowering Your Blood Pressure, Naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/FoodsLoweringBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/SurprisingHBPFacts And the clinical studies can be seen here: 1. http://www.cdc.gov/bloodpressure/facts.htm 2. http://openheart.bmj.com/content/1/1/e000167 3. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/06/14/calories-america.aspx ======================================= 🌽 #1 Food That Causes High Blood Pressure ======================================= If you didn’t already know, at least ⅓ of US adults have high blood pressure. And having hypertension is one of the leading causes of a heart attack or stroke.(1) Now, there are lots of ways to naturally lower your blood pressure and under this video, in the description area, I’ve listed some of my favorites. However, don’t go there yet because most people, including doctors, mistakenly consume less salt to lower blood pressure. However, low-salt diets typically don’t make much of a difference. What does make a big difference is lowering sugar in your diet and more specifically, “high fructose corn syrup” In a recent study in the journal Open Heart (2), the authors write: “Evidence from epidemiological studies and experimental trials in animals and humans suggests that added sugars, particularly fructose, may increase blood pressure and blood pressure variability, increase heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand, and contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance and broader metabolic dysfunction. Thus, while there is no argument that recommendations to reduce consumption of processed foods are highly appropriate and advisable, the arguments in this review are that the benefits of such recommendations have less to do with sodium—minimally related to blood pressure and perhaps even inversely related to cardiovascular risk—and more to do with highly-refined carbohydrates and sugars." The Problem Started In The 1970s Food and beverage manufacturers began switching their sweeteners from sucrose (table sugar) to corn syrup in the 1970s when they discovered that High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) was far cheaper to use in their products. In fact, HFCS is the #1 source of calories in America!!!( 3) It’s found in almost everything you can think of. More specifically, in sodas and fruit juices. But also in many pre-packaged foods. This also includes “healthy sugars” sweetened with agave. My Proven “Prescription” and Recommendation For You You must do your best to limit and eliminate all HFCS and to do this, make sure you read labels. Again, the LESS pre-packaged the food, the better. Limit your TOTAL fructose to 25 grams or less, that’s about 100 calories daily. This includes the natural fructose found in fruits. If you are already suffering from high blood pressure or signs of insulin resistance like diabetes, overweight and high cholesterol, you should be particularly careful to limit your fructose, including that from whole fruits, to 15 grams per day or less. That’s about 60 calories daily. So there you have it. Focus more on limiting your sugars, this includes fruit sugar, fructose … and especially “high fructose corn syrup” which is found in most pre-packaged foods, especially sodas and fruit juices. Now, I wanted to keep this video short and simple so you have something to implement today and start get results right away. If you want more details on how to lower your blood pressure naturally, under this video I’ve got simple and proven solutions that you can utilize and you do NOT even have to change your diet or exercise. SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/DrJohnKiel FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/medicinelifestyle TWITTER: https://twitter.com/LifestyleMedYou I wanted to take a moment to talk about salt and it's effects on your body. Specifically, I wanted to talk about how it can raise your blood pressure. By better understanding the effects of salt on your blood pressure, you may be better able to manage that aspect of your health moving forward. Before I get started, I want to mention that salt has many roles in the human body and I'm going to specifically focus on blood pressure in this lecture. In a nutshell, sodium (or Na+), which I'll just refer to as salt ( NaCl) for now, helps your kidneys retain water. This serves a very essential function to our overall health and well being. The salt circulating in our bloodstream, and in the rest of our body, helps keep our circulatory system filled and allows the heart to do its job of delivering oxygen around the body. It is the job of your kidneys to regulate the amount of salt in your circulatory system. If total salt goes up, your kidneys will filter more out. If total salt goes down, those filters will close and your body will try to retain salt. This affects your blood pressure directly because the water "follows" the salt if you will. It does this through a physical process called osmosis. According to the American Heart Association, we require about 1500 mgs of salt per day. As Americans, we consume about 3,400 mg/day, more than twice what we need. Furthermore, 75% of the salt we consume comes from processed food and restaurant, and less than 25% from what we add ourselves. It's also worth noting that some people are more sensitive to salt intake than others. So if you have no heart or kidney problems, you're most likely able to filter out the excess salt. However, if you have heart or kidney issues, or you are particularly sensitive, then the excess salt can start causing problems and potentially damage some of your organ systems. Salt has several names including sodium, Na, Na+, NaCl, KCl and low sodium. Unsalted, no salt added, sodium free are terms you should look for on a nutrition facts label. Elevated sodium levels are associated with heart disease, heart attack, myocardial infarction, CAD or coronary artery disease, embolisms and blood clots, brain disease, stroke, dementia, vascular disease, atherosclerosis, arteriosclerosis, arteriostenosis, kidney disease, kidney failure, osteoporosis, stomach cancer, kidney stones and headaches. Symptoms of too much salt include dehydration, bloating, puffiness, weight gain, increased thirst, and excessive thirst. There are many ways to lower, decrease salt intake. One example is DASH diet or dietary approaches to stop hypertension (high blood pressure).

Give Dr. Berg a Review: http://bit.ly/DrBergReviewGoogle VIDEOS ON INSULIN RESISTANCE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxl8h... Dr. Berg talks about the link between high blood pressure and insulin resistance. Insulin resistances, which is high insulin stiffens your arteries, disrupts the endothelial layer of your arteries, which start the hardening of the arteries as well as the cascade effect of cholesterol and calcium to accumulate in the arteries. High insulin (insulin resistance) creates inflammation in the arteries. This condition also causes sodium retention and a loss of potassium because insulin is necessary to allow this mineral in the cell. Diuretics also have a side-effect of causing insulin resistance. The treatment of hypertension is mainly medications because we are told that there is no cure, only treatment. The pathophysiology is in reality a disruption of the artery wall creating vasoconstriction, stiffness and less elasticity. The additional symptom of hypertension is headaches and a risk for stroke and heart attack. The home remedies involve actions to lower insulin - cutting out sugar, adding vegetables to get your potassium and even apple cider vinegar can help. Something important that I want to bring to your attention about today’s topic is that these solutions are for instant results, NOT long-term solutions … which I’ll get to at the end of today’s video. So if you’re feeling stressed or your blood pressure is rising, you can almost instantly and quickly use today’s 3 pressure points to lower your blood pressure and help avoid anything bad from happening. If nothing else, you’ll get instant relief and relaxation. Acupressure Point LI4 LI 4, which stands for “Large Intestine 4”, is an extremely useful acupressure point that is extensively used to treat chronic pain, acute stress and various types of diseases along with treatment for high blood pressure. This point is situated in the webbing between the forefinger and the thumb… right in the middle as you see here. It calms and balances blood flow throughout the body and clears stagnation. As an added benefit, it also boosts your immunity. The most effective way to apply pressure to LI 4 is to slide your thumb along the webbing until you reach the junction of the thumb and index finger bones. How to apply acupressure? Begin by moving your thumb in a small circular rubbing motion over LI 4 for a few seconds. Then you can apply gentle to moderate thumb pressure depending on how sensitive the area feels. If there is any pain, it should be a “good hurt,” not severe or uncomfortable. You can hold the point as long as you are comfortable, up to several minutes. I typically suggest about 20-30 seconds, then take a few second break and then repeat as often as you’d like. PC 6 PC 6 or Pericardium 6 is yet another important acupressure point for treating high blood pressure. It soothes and helps the heart and circulatory system in their proper functioning. This point is also known as the Inner Gate, and it is located on the inner forearm, approximately three finger-widths away from the wrist crease as you see here. This point can be stimulated by applying firm pressure to the point using your index finger or thumb. Again, apply pressure for about 20-30 seconds, then take a break and repeat as needed. G20 The G20 is below the base of your skull, in the hollows on both sides of the neck, between the two vertical neck muscles. Putting pressure here lowers your blood pressure, reduces headaches and stress by relaxing your nervous system. Use your thumbs, fingers, or knuckles to gradually apply pressure into the hollows of your skull. Close your eyes as you tilt your head back slowly. Take long, slow deep breaths as you hold for two to three minutes. Direct the pressure slowly and firmly into the center of your head. Other Acupressure Points Now, there are lots of other acupressure points -- on your feet, arms, legs, and so forth. I picked these 3 areas for lowering your blood pressure because you can do them any where, any place -- they’re easy to access. It’s just your hand, forearm/wrist and the back of your head. Easy access, you can do it yourself and you’ll get fast relief. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Lower-Your-BP Or watch How To Lower Your Blood Pressure, Naturally: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25zDNw3ZQU8 #hypertension #highbloodpressure Refferences: https://accscientificsession.acc.org/ ==================================== 🌡WARNING: Two Blood Pressure Drugs Increase Your Risk Of Death! 👈 ==================================== High blood pressure (hypertension) is a major risk factor for heart disease, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. In fact, hypertension is called the “silent killer” because it doesn’t have any real symptoms. Additionally, most adults over the age of 35 have prehypertension and don’t even know it. Especially with today’s extra stressful life-styles. And a major cause of it is actually aging and the negative changes in your hormones as you age. But, I’ll get to that in a minute. Today’s topic is about two very popular blood pressure drugs, that actually increase your risk of death and thus, should be avoided! In a recent 2018 study1, scientist found that people using alpha blockers and/or alpha-2 agonists to control their blood pressure, show increased variability in blood pressure measurements between doctor visits, which is associated with an increased risk of death. And this study was based on more than 10,500 patients between, 2007-2012, during a 5 year timespan. Basically this means that these drugs are not consistent in keep your blood pressure stable. Due to the increase in variability and thus, fluctuations throughout the day, dramatically increases your risk of a heart attack or stroke and ultimately, death. These drugs aren’t doing what they are designed to do. The fluctuations throughout the day, actually put more stress on your body, which causes other negative hormonal changes. The researchers stated that other hypertension class of drugs such as Ace Inhibitors, Calcium Channel Blockers and Thiazide diuretics are safer. However, these drugs have numerous side-effects as well, including Mental and physical fatigue Muscle weakness Erectile Problems Weight gain Anxiety, nervousness and depression What’s interesting to note is that there are half a dozen different TYPES of hypertension drugs, with almost 70 drugs in total, all designed to lower blood pressure. And an overwhelming 88% of the time - dosages need to be increased and/or multiple hypertension drugs are used in combination to help lower blood pressure. This is all just horrible news, especially considering the fact that blood pressure rises steadily with age due to a variety of factors, one of the primary ones being the negative changes in your hormones due to aging. I mention all of this because I have high blood pressure on both sides of the family, especially my dad’s. So for sure, I got him off the medications years ago because we only saw the negative side-effects and knew that it was only going to get worse as he got older. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Low blood pressure — often defined as lower than 90 mm Hg systolic or 60 mm Hg diastolic — is a common medical condition with a variety of causes, including pregnancy, heart problems, some severe infections or allergies, blood loss, and even dehydration. If you have long-time, symptom-free low blood pressure, you have little to worry about. However, if you are experiencing a sudden drop in blood pressure, then you should seek medical attention. Day in and day out I hear from people that are struggling with high blood pressure and their doctors are telling them that if they don't change their diet, if they don't change their exercise routine or if they don't change their lifestyle, they're going to end up dying because of their high blood pressure. Now, I'm not saying that those doctors are wrong, but what I am saying is we need to look at the bigger picture. We need to look at some other things outside of just the good old fashioned changing your diet and adding more exercise. All right, so what I want to talk about in this video is how magnesium actually affects blood pressure. You see, as we're progressing through various forms of research, we're starting to find that there's a lot more to blood pressure that what we thought. We used to just think it was kind of a sodium thing, how our bodies were sensitive to sodium and how that would ultimately affect the overall water retention, how it would overall effect just how our constricting blood vessels, et cetera, et cetera. But as we go forward we're learning that minerals really do play a bigger role outside of just sodium. So when it comes down to magnesium, it's pretty powerful and I want to reference this entire video surrounding one particular meta-analysis study. Now, for those of you that have watched my videos before, you know that a meta-analysis is a study that takes a look at a bunch of different studies aggregated together. So in this particular one, we took a look at a study that was published in the American Journal of Hypertension, this is a journal that specializes in blood pressure. So blood pressure research looking at all kinds of different studies and this one particular meta-analysis took a look at 34 different studies that had a total of 2,000 patients. So this is a very big study. These are the kind of studies you want to look at to give you a very solid, definitive answer. So, the studies that they looked at were what are called randomized placebo studies, which means the subjects did not know whether they were receiving a placebo or if they were receiving magnesium. Now, since we looked at a lot of different studies, it ranged anywhere from 248 milligrams of magnesium that were given to the subjects all the way up to 960 milligrams of magnesium that were given to the subjects. What they did is they looked at all these studies, and some of these ranged from three weeks all the way up to eight months. They took a look at where the average balance would change in terms of someone's blood pressure or where the average change would just generally occur and what they found is after about three months on average, if you consumed approximately 368 milligrams of magnesium, you were expected to see approximately a two millimeter of mercury decrease in your systolic and a 1.8 millimeter mercury decrease in your diastolic blood pressure. And then researchers later on, after digging into the research even more found that, really, only after a month, you would see a big difference. That's pretty darn powerful and it may not sound like a whole lot when you're looking at the big picture, but when it's just one simple factor that you're changing, that is very powerful. This is not changing the diet and not changing exercise. References 1) Zhang X , et al. (n.d.). http://www.stopdrinkingexpert.com Does alcohol cause high blood pressure? Many drinkers have high blood pressure and often wonder if alcohol is the root cause. The answer I am afraid is; most likely yes. It is so common that the medical industry has a term for it. Alcohol induced hyper tension. You may expect the problem to be the result of alcohol affecting blood vessels but it is a little more complex and dangerous than that. Your body is an amazing machine, breathtaking in it’s power and complexity. Even while you are sleeping there is a part of your being that constantly keeps watch on all your vital functions. Your heart beats without any conscious desire or input. Your breathing is always at the correct rate. Your body temperature is kept to an optimum level. The central nervous system is responsible for doing all this and much more. does alcohol cause high blood pressureAlcohol badly interferes with the way your central nervous system operates. It becomes over energetic and starts to make mistakes. I am sure you can see how bad a mistake it is to allow this part of your body to make mistakes. Essentially your central nervous system is drunk. You probably wouldn’t want a drunk surgeon to operate on you and it is just as crazy to allow a drunk to control your heart and respiratory system. Back when I was a drinker I always had borderline hypertension. I was shocked when I stopped drinking alcohol because within one month. My blood pressure had not only improved but returned to a perfectly normal level. I was so surprised I asked the doctor to take my blood pressure three times. Alcohol induced hypertension causes strokes, heart attacks and a whole heap of health problems you don’t want!

I’ve listened to my doctor, I’ve changed my diet and I’ve removed all the salt and still, there’s barely any improvement! ” However, in regards to salt and hypertension, that’s a myth! So here’s the reality check based on facts and clinical studies - not what so-called “expert” or “website” said. High quality salt is essential for life. So logically it makes sense that salt is important and needed. As far as clinical evidence, in one study of over 6250 people, cutting salt intake did NOT reduce the risk for heart attacks, strokes or death.1 In another study in 2013, it showed that lower salt consumption actually INCREASED your risk of death from heart disease.2 A review of the available research reveals that much of the science behind the supposed link between “salt and high blood pressure” is dubious and doubtful at best. According to Scientific American:3 "Intersalt, a large study published in 19884, compared sodium intake with blood pressure in subjects from 52 international research centers and found NO relationship between sodium intake and the prevalence of hypertension. In fact, the population that ate the most salt, about 14 grams a day, had a lower median blood pressure than the population that ate the least, about 7.2 grams a day... For every study that suggests that salt is unhealthy, multiple ones reveal that it does not." So what about the studies that show lowering salt is good for blood pressure? A 2004 analysis of 11 salt-reduction trials found that over the long-term, low-salt diets decreased systolic blood pressure by 1.1 millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and diastolic blood pressure by 0.6 mmHg. That equates to reducing your blood pressure from 120/80 to 119/79.6 A 2006 study in the American Journal of Medicine study compared the reported daily sodium intakes of 78 million Americans to their risk of dying from heart disease over the course of 14 years. The study concluded that lower sodium diets led to HIGHER death rates among those with cardiovascular disease!7 I can go on and on, but I hope you see where this is leading. Salt is good for you. Not only is salt relatively benign, it's actually a nutritional goldmine,... Regular table salt will damage your health, while natural salts are profoundly healing. Here's a quick break-down of their basic ingredients: Natural salt: 84 percent sodium chloride, 16 percent naturally-occurring trace minerals, including silicon, phosphorous, vanadium, magnesium, potassium, etc. Processed (table) salt: 97.5 percent sodium chloride, 2.5 percent man-made chemicals, such as moisture absorbents and flow agents. These are dangerous chemicals. Processing table salt also radically alters and damages the structure of the salt. While natural salts, containing the minerals and electrolytes, are vital for water balance, enzyme production, stress reduction, immune system, adrenal and thyroid function. What’s The Best Salt? You want to use unrefined natural salts, such as Himalayan Salt or Celtic Sea Salt. Celtic salt is slightly better because it has a little less sodium and more magnesium. Alcohol and High Blood Pressure - Effects, Treatment, Management What is High Blood Pressure? http://alcoholmastery.com/alcohol-and-high-blood-pressure-effects-treatment-management/ High blood pressure has many causes, this post is primarily concerned with the relationship between alcohol and high blood pressure. Blood Pressure is the measurement of the pressure of the blood against the walls of your blood vessels. A BP monitor calculates the force of the blood from both the beating heart and the resting heart. Alcohol can cause high blood pressure (HBP) while you’re drinking, and long term heavy drinking can cause chronic high blood pressure. HBP can lead to a heart attack or heart failure, stroke, and kidney failure. Dr Brian Silver of Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, says "Somehow the binge drinking compounds [HPB] -- and more than just a little bit." Men with really HBP are at even greater risk. 6 or more drinks consumed in one sitting can quadruple the risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Dr Silver, who is also a spokesman for the American Heart Association, says “There have been studies that alcohol [consumption] can increase blood pressure 15 to 20 points. And if you start off hypertensive, raising your blood pressure 15 or 20 points probably does as much as double your risk of stroke, so this certainly fits with things we already know." What are the Symptoms of High Blood Pressure? There are really no symptoms of high blood pressure, other than it registering on a blood pressure monitor. So it is vitally important that you know this reading. High blood pressure can cause aneurysms, narrowing of the blood vessels and arteries, kidney failure, stroke, heart attack, blindness, and amputations. Treatment for High Blood Pressure The best way of controlling your blood pressure is to live a healthy life. Here’s 7 ways that you can lower your blood pressure and keep it down. Reduce alcohol intake Lose weight Exercise regularly Eat a healthy diet Reduce salt intake Reduce caffeine Stop smoking The more of these you choose to implement in your life, the better your blood pressure will be, and you’ll get the other benefits that come with a healthy lifestyle. There are also medications that can be prescribed in emergencies. Outlook The outlook for this condition depends on how much personal responsibility you take. If you go all out to change what you’re putting into your body, eliminate all the drinking and smoking, all the crappy foods and food additives, the outlook for a long and healthy life is very positive. You need to have a regular check up or get yourself a Bp Monitor to give yourself a ballpark figure. If you drink, or smoke, or eat shit foods, you can be sure it's not doing your blood pressure any good. Alcohol and high blood pressure is just another risk you're taking with heavy drinking. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is unfortunately a common problem throughout the U.S. It is a very serious condition that, if untreated, can lead to heart attacks, kidney failure and strokes. A blood pressure reading is considered high if it goes over 140/90. There are many factors that can contribute to high blood pressure, including: obesity, excessive drinking, stress, birth control pills, kidney disease, adrenal disease and genetic factors. While there are many prescription drugs that help to lower blood pressure, it can also be treated with all-natural remedies. Today’s video will discuss ten home remedies to lower blood pressure. 1. Watermelon Seeds Watermelon seeds contain cucurbocitrin, which is a compound that helps to widen blood capillaries and improve kidney function. In 2010, Florida State conducted a study that showed watermelon can help to lower blood pressure readings. 2. Lemons Lemons remove the rigid nature of the blood vessels and leave them soft and flexible. This, in turn, lowers the blood pressure level. Consuming lemon juice regularly also lowers the change of heart failure because of the high levels of Vitamin C. 3. Bananas Bananas can help to control blood pressure, when consumed on a regular basis. This is because of the high levels of potassium in the bananas that help to lessen the effects of sodium on the body. 4. Garlic Raw and cooked garlic can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the body’s production of nitric oxide and hydrogen sulphide. Consume one or two crushed garlic cloves per day. 5. Coconut Water To those with high blood pressure, it is especially important to keep hydrated. It is recommended that they consume eight to ten glasses each day. Coconut water is helpful in lowering blood pressure. 6. Celery Celery contains chemicals that help to control blood pressure. They relax the muscles in and around the heart and can allow the blood to flow more efficiently. Celery also helps to reduce stress hormones, which lowers blood pressure. Consume one stalk of celery with one glass of water each day. 7. Onion Juice Onions contain antioxidants that lower blood pressure. Simply consume one medium-sized raw onion per day. Alternatively, you can mix ½ teaspoon of onion juice with ½ teaspoon of honey and consume twice per day for one to two weeks. 8. Cayenne Pepper Cayenne pepper prevents platelets from sticking together and therefore, allows blood to flow more efficiently. Simply add cayenne pepper to fruit or vegetable salads, as well as in the dishes that you cook. A little cayenne pepper goes a long way, so just a pinch will do. 9. Fenugreek Seeds Fenugreek seeds contain potassium and fiber that helps to control blood pressure. To use, boil one or two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds in water for about two minutes and then strain. Place the seeds into a blender and mix into a paste. Consume the paste twice a day, once in the morning on an empty stomach and once in the evening. Use this remedy for two to three months for best results. 10. Honey Honey calms the blood vessels in the body and lowers blood pressure. Simply consume two teaspoons of honey on an empty stomach each morning. Also, you can mix one teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of ginger juice and two teaspoons of cumin seed powder. Consume this twice each day for best results. Most importantly, if you suffer from high blood pressure, it is highly recommended that you consult with your doctor and follow their directives. High blood pressure should be taken seriously, as if left on treated, it can have dire consequences. Do you or someone you know have high blood pressure? This problem is often dismissed by people considering it as an off case of feeling dizzy. It could be a sign of a serious issue with the heart, endocrine or even signal neurological disorders. Common symptoms of low blood pressure are dizziness, fainting, fatigue, nausea, difficult breathing, blurred vision, and cold. Here in the video find five home remedies that could help in curing low blood pressure.

It’s checked at every doctor’s visit but if your blood pressure is high doctors say it could be linked to what you drink. “A lot of people drink, and a lot of people have high blood pressure. It’s been shown that alcohol actually increases your blood pressure,” explained Dr. Simon Grinshteyn, a hospitalist with Lee Health. A healthy blood pressure is considered 120/80, a number that can fluctuate depending on your lifestyle. “Blood pressure is not static, so if we were to put a catheter inside to watch the blood pressure it would go up and down depending on the stress level, depending on your situation, and it does fluctuate, but the body is really good at regulating the norms,” said Dr. Grinshteyn. Too much alcohol can keep your body dehydrated and keep your blood pressure high. “What it does tend to do is prevent the blood vessels from opening and closing the way that they should,” he said. If your blood pressure is consistently high, doctors may recommend making some lifestyle changes. “When we talk about lifestyle modifications-- diet, increase in exercise, increase in activity and watching the salt and alcohol intake would make a huge difference,” said Dr. Grinshteyn. If you drink: doctors recommend doing so in moderation. That means no more than two drinks for men per day and no more than one drink for women per day. Cutting back on alcohol can actually lower your blood pressure by about five points. “Read your labels it’s important to do that. Aerobic activity, a 30-minute walk to get that heart rate up on a daily basis, five times a week, you will see great improvements in your blood pressure,” he said. Patients living with high blood pressure will have no symptoms and are at risk for heart disease, even strokes. Making it important to know your numbers and limit your alcohol. CORRECTION: At the end, it should be "INCREASE" potassium DATA: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3362178/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16467502 https://journals.lww.com/acsm-healthfitness/fulltext/2012/05000/SODIUM,_POTASSIUM,_AND_HIGH_BLOOD_PRESSURE.6.aspx https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28396533 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4566462/ https://vitamindwiki.com/Vitamin+K2+decreases+arterial+stiffness+%28cleans+arteries%29+%E2%80%93+RCT+Feb+2015 Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis In this video, Dr. Berg discussed about Keto (Ketogenic Diet) and blood pressures. Sodium and the opposing mineral potassium works together and our body needs 4x as much potassium that we do with sodium. To lower sodium, increase the potassium that will automatically give the ratios the body needs. Potassium helps lowering or normalize blood pressure, we need to take at least 7 to 10 cups of leafy greens per day. A calcified artery usually comes after a chain reaction from damage of high sugar and high levels of insulin because the calcium and the cholesterol is triggered by the damage on the artery wall. Cause of High Blood Pressure: • High sodium higher fluid volume – Potassium helps lowering or normalize blood pressure. Increasing potassium will also help lower insulin and improve insulin resistance. • Artery Calcified – hardening of the arteries and plaquing. Coronary Artery Calcification scan is a great test to detect any calcification in the artery. Vitamin K2 with D3 – helps decalcify and helps remove excess calcium from either the joints or arteries and puts it on the bone where it should belong. It comes from fatty foods, grass-fed meats or dairy. The actual vitamins in fatty foods has the ability to calcify or protect the arteries from accumulating too much calcium. • High Insulin – The arteries become stiff and the blood pressure will go up. It is associated with insulin resistance. • Statins – A medication to lower cholesterol but several of the risk factor is diabetes, insulin resistance and insulin spike. Hey guys today we are gonna talk about keto (ketogenic diet) and blood pressure, probably should add in there IF or intermittent fasting as well. But people can then be put in a diuretic, pull their fluid out and then lower their blood pressure. So one point I wanna bring out is the relationship between sodium and the opposing mineral potassium, they both work together. And we need 4x more potassium as we do with sodium. So what does that mean? It means that if you want to lower sodium, you wanna increase your potassium. Because that is automatically will give you the ratios that you need rather than try to lower your sodium, yes you can do see salt which I recommend but you would be much better off increasing your potassium and one of the reason is because potassium automatically will help you lower your blood pressure or normalize blood pressure and most people do not consume enough potassium-rich foods and I am not talking about bananas, I am talking about leafy greens. The average person consumes 1.6 cups of vegetable per day, we need at least 7 cups to hopefully even 10 if you can actually do that. And that would actually give you a lot closer amounts for your potassium. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 52 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Certain foods raise your blood pressure - we all know that. But when you ask someone exactly which foods lower blood pressure and which ones increase it, many will just say "it goes up when you eat meat, and down when you eat fruits and vegetables." In a general sense, that right. But many people don't realize that it's not that simple. Food that comes from animals is usually more likely to cause hypertension - high blood pressure - than fruits and vegetables. But even some foods that don't come from animals may contain a lot of certain elements - especially sodium or salt - that affect blood pressure in a negative way. Think potato chips, frozen foods that come in a box (like frozen lasagna), and canned soups, just to name a few. And then there are those fast food french fries we all love. This video offers the basics of a high blood pressure diet plan, spelling out foods to avoid and foods to eat to keep your blood pressure in a normal range. This video is intended for the general public - not for medical professionals. It's meant to provide basic and introductory information about hypertension. If you think your blood pressure is too high, you should see your doctor, and rely solely on his or her diagnosis and advice.

How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure by 23% In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerMyBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodForBP Refferences: 1. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15158307 2. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10799367 3. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=pomegranate ======================================= 💖 One Of The Most Powerful Fruits For Lowering Blood Pressure Pomegranate ======================================= One of my favorite heart-health fruits is Pomegranate. It’s not very popular in America, but it’s widely used in the Middle East, Asia and the Mediterranean. Which incidentally, all 3 regions are known for having lower heart disease and blood pressure. This amazing fruit not only tastes good, but has a multitude of health benefits that can help you lower your blood pressure and ensure the health of your heart and arteries. (2) Helps regulate blood pressure. Powerful Antioxidant effect. Helps clear artery blockages. Lowers "bad" LDL cholesterol. Can help with various healthy conditions (erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, kidney disease and more). How It Works A compound found only in pomegranates is called punicalagin (pu-nee-kal-ah-gin). It has been shown to offer benefits for the heart and blood vessels. Punicalagin is responsible for pomegranate's antioxidant and health benefits. (3) It not only lowers blood pressure and increases the speed at which heart blockages caused by atherosclerosis are removed, it also lowers bad cholesterol. Studies have been done on patients with severe carotid (ker-ah-tid) artery blockages. They were given an ounce of pomegranate juice each day for a year. Amazingly, the patient's blood pressure lowered by 12%, and there was a 30% reduction in atherosclerotic plaque, meaning the arteries were cleared (1). More studies have shown that potent antioxidant compounds found in pomegranates reduce platelet aggregation and naturally lower blood pressure, factors that prevent both heart attacks and strokes (2). Side-Effects & Warnings As far as negative side-effects, there aren’t any. However, drinking fruit juice - whether it’s from an orange or pomegranate - isn’t a good idea because of a few factors. Sugar increases blood pressure and fruit sugar, fructose is the worst. Fruit juice, including pomegranate, has a high glycemic index and thus, it spikes up your blood sugar and insulin levels. This in turn can increase stomach fat, diabetes and yes, blood pressure levels. Eating the actual fruit is best, including the seeds. It has additional fiber, healthy fats and many other benefits. However, this is a messy fruit and 95% of people will not eat it and pick apart all the little pomegranate seeds. Ideally, you would take Pomegranate Fruit Extract, at a 5:1 ratio at 200 mgs daily. That’s the clinically proven extract and dosage for improving your blood pressure levels.3 How To Get Much Better & Safer Results One thing to remember is you never want to use only ONE ingredient to achieve a health goal. This is because your body will quickly adapt and the ingredient will stop working. This means you’ll need to use a higher and higher dosage -- which will eventually lead to negative side-effects. Of course, this makes sense because you don’t only eat ONE type of vegetable (broccoli) all the time for total health, right?... Additionally, whatever is causing the health problem - in this case, “high blood pressure”, is NEVER from only ONE cause -- it’s usually multiple reasons. And that's why you want to “attack” the problem using multiple mechanisms. Research has shown that Pomegranate extract works much better, when utilized with other complementary ingredients, for dramatically improved blood pressure and total heart-health. Clinically proven ingredients to use with Pomegranate extract is: Magnesium “blend” (glycinate, malate, citrate, etc.) English Hawthorn Berry Extracts (standardized to 3.2% vitexin-2-rhamnosides and 2% flavonoids) Grape Seed Extract (MegaNatural®-BP 85% Total Phenolics) Celery Seed Extract (85% 3nB; 42.5% phthalides) Lycopene Extract (5%) L-Arginine (L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate) The special synergy between these correct “stack of ingredients”, creates a much safer and more effective solution. ======================================== Thank you for watching.
