First, slice up the 6 lemons in half and include them to the 20 oz. of water in a pot. then Boil the water for 3 minutes. Leave the pot to cool down for10 to 15 minutes.Then remove the lemons and the pulp from the water. Drink the hot lemon water in a tea cup. Include the remainder of the warm lemon water in a glass bottle for later use. NOTE, For an enhanced taste, include honey into the tea cup!

Such a stupid video! Boiling lemon can destroy the vitamin C as well as leaving a bitter juice! Always squeeze lemon and use the juice.
A better alternative can be, boiling ginger in water and then having the warm ginger water with lemon juice and honey. This is an effective drink for losing weight as well as reducing inflammation along with any body pain.
FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVES THIS WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE "HEAT KILLS VITAMINS/ ETC."
Vitamin C doesn't decompose until around 370°F/190°C so boiling water alone won't destroy it. It does, however, react with oxygen in the air. The oxygen in the water combined with the high temperature will probably lead to some of the ascorbic acid being oxidized but unless you're leaving it out boiling for a very long time I think it's safe to say any loss of vitamin C would be rather minuscule. One thing worth noting is that because vitamin C is soluble in water, after boiling most of the vitamin C will stay in the water instead of in the lemon. If you're drinking the tea this ends up being a benefit, but if you were cooking vegetables and throwing out the water afterward you would be losing it with the water.
Left to me, I'll 1st tear off the rinds or sqeeze out the lemon juice of perfect looking lemons b4 boiling. AAnd I will not boil for long as long as I get a good infusion of the lemon into the boiling water. I'll then let it cool b4 I pour in the lemon juice to save my vitamin C. I learned that it is more medicinal to drink it warm. I will also prefer to add a little honey for taste and to boost the immune system.

Judi Christopher Boiled water is not dead water, distilled water is. Boiling up water is used for purification when its contaminated. By boiling the lemons do destroy the Vitamine C, that part is true though.

Chelsea Welch lmao wtf are you serious?? Lemons have a strong citrus acid unlike oranges. I wouldnt doubt that. Doesnt mean you avoid or shun lemons just dont eat so many at once. Three lemons and twenty oz.of water can be just as good instead of six

No you do not have to squeeze the lemons.
Cut the lemons in half and put them in the bowl of water and let it boil. The juice will be automatically extracted because of boiling. hope that answers your question. :)
