when you ask a pregnant woman why their babies do that, they will answer that the baby is just trying to hug them from the inside. every small movement they make will make you ask yourself what are they trying to do?

Within the womb, your baby tries to stretch out the limbs to relax or move, and that is why you feel the kicks. These movements or kicks are a part of your baby's normal development. The baby reacts instantly to changes in the environment, especially when it hears some noises outside.
When you lie on the left side, the babies activity increases, because of the increase in blood supply and nutrients to the fetus.
That is why pregnant women should sleep on their left side. Mothers can also expect a higher number of kicks after a meal.
The baby starts to kick when nine weeks are completed. First time mothers-to-be usually recognise their baby’s movements as late as the 24th week of pregnancy. Your baby has been moving long before that, but the sensation is unfamiliar, and you might not recognise it for what it is. A low number of kicks can show the poor health of your baby and the insufficient amount of oxygen.
The average number of kicks falls between 15 to 20 per day.
please contact your doctor if you are
Experiencing less than 10 movements in a two hour period.
Reduced or no movement in response to external stimuli like loud noise, patting or prodding your belly, or the sound of you or your partner’s voice. A gradual decrease in your baby’s movements for more than two consecutive days.
Your baby should always be moving throughout the day. After 36 weeks of pregnancy, babies have much less room for big movements like kicks and rolls.
Movement is one of the first communications your baby has with you. Any reduction in any movement should be noted and checked out by your care provider as soon as possible to help you have a worry and stress free pregnancy.

A lot of women have pelvic pain when pregnant. Especially when they are carrying low and/or the baby has dropped. I didn't get it with my first child, but have with this one. For me the pain is on my pubic bone (the one in front) and in my thigh/groin area (where my legs connect to my hips on the inside). Some women have it all over their thighs, hips etc. If the pain is right above your pubic bone and underneath your uterus, it is most likely round ligament pain. It feels like pulled, stretching muscles. If you get shooting pains in your vagina, it could be the baby hitting your cervix. For me, this was pretty easy to recognize. None of these things mean that you will go into labor anytime soon. Drink plenty of water and try to reduce your movements. And sleep on your left side.
I am at my 27 weeks now with my first, and my baby seems to be rolling and kicking allmost nonstop. Can even see the movement outside my stomach. Doctor said that its good, and he seems to be really energetic boy. Since i started to worry that he has something wrong in there, with so huge movements. And he is also in horizontal position, hopefully he turns into good position when its time to get out :D

Nadia N ....hi honey how are you, and how are you feeling ? I hope you’re coming along well. Remember your baby won’t have any expectations of what you should do. So you both will learn together.❤️❤️. You will be a great mom !
Congratulations ladies.... I'm also pregnant but with my third and lol I'm nervous too though I just did this two years ago and another two years before that. It's normal to be nervous. But yes, it will be ok. Just make sure you ask as many questions as you have. Get a great support system and know that your body will do it's job when it comes time.

Everyone is different but the movements of the baby are first thought to be felt in the middle of the fifth month. Some women feel it in the middle of the sixth month, However, i would suggest going to the doctor to get it checked out.
I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I don’t really feel it.. like one week or two weeks ago I was feeling like a heartbeat inside my belly but now nothing.. I have appointment in two days.. I hope that everything will be ok
Yamashenge Th you won't feel much for now just be patient and hopefully at 15 - 16 weeks you will feel more active movements. I am much earlier than you because I'm only almost 12 weeks so I don't feel any movements...
During your 12 and 13 weeks did you get like an uncomfortable feeling in your lower part of your stomach?? I feel that like mild cramps especially at night
Amber Coleman right lol. And yeah thanks. I just found out my placenta is anterior so thats maybe way its taking a little longer cause the baby has a cusion to kick and bounce around on making it harder to fill until they grow much bigger :)
JazzStackss you'll be feeling that little munchkin jumping around soon enough....I didn't feel much until right at 6 months, almost 7. Sometimes....they literally don't do much yet will have a stable heart beat, good development and everything. They do what they wanna do lol
Thats not right to say. Your mom wants you to be happy and healthy. Your happiness is her happiness and goodness. If she regretted having you, you wouldn't be here to say that. Make yourself and her proud by living this life bravely. Don't be disheartened.
I didn't know what was my baby until I went for my 20weeks ultrasound. I saw her kick and I felt it as well. Now I'm 28 weeks and she moves like crazy. Hooks her foot under my hip while I'm trying to sleep, had my first jab to the ribs, and sometimes just goes breakdances in there.
Thank u for this informative video, I want to ask a question from u here, plz, this is my first pregnancy, and thankfully, I am experiencing a lot of movement inside me. But, I don't know what to call baby kicks. Is it something like a sudden beat inside my belly? Cuz I do feel that, but never experienced any pain as other expecting women say they experience pain due to kicks.
Can u please guide me?
Dear it is different for everybody as different babies have different personalities, some babies kick a lot, some just stretch and turn. It doesn't have to hurt. It is normal. However, if you are still worried, please get an ultrasound to ensure everything is alright :)
Im almost due sad to experience that my partner doesn't care about me and the baby. We didn't experience to be loved throughout my pregnancy. BUT I LOVE MY BABY SO MUCH IS MY OWN BLOOD AND FLESH. PLEASE PRAY FOR US.😔😔😔🙇🙇🙇
I have an 8m old now.. his dad wanted me to abort.. I flat out refused and told him to never EVER bring that up or suggest that to me again.. and now he doesn’t help financially or any other way but he pops in from time to time and I do let him see his son. I’m being the bigger person and I’m reminded everyday by my gorgeous son what’s really important.. don’t be scared I promise no matter what you’ll be ok. It gets scary sometimes and you’ll feel lonely..but when you’re holding your baby at night and watching them grow and learn you’ll know it was all because of you. your hard work and your love is what’s making a difference and an impact in your child’s life. At the end of the day THEYRE the ones missing out THEYRE the ones who get left out the ones that are truly alone it’s their mistake they get to live with. Not ours. We are the strong ones never forget that. You’re taking on a challenge he was to much of a wimp to even try to step up and you’re going to kick ass mama. Keep your head up don’t let anyone bring you down. You’ve got this! ❤️
So heart touching ...i wonder how some men can be so cruel... I can relate to you too..my unborn child father told me to do an abortion I said no...we have spoken since the Feb 28 2018...now and 7 months pregnant...sometimes I wonder how I do this on my own but it's just the mercy of the Lord that keeps me strong
hi dear, Pelvic pain or discomfort is common during pregnancy. After all, ligaments are stretching, hormone levels are changing, and organs are shifting around to make room for your growing uterus. But sometimes pain is a red flag that something more serious is wrong. If you feel that it is not normal and too much for you then please have a doctor check it up :) Good luck stay safe.
S G I was thinking the same ! My daughter is 6 years old and she never kicked ten times a day and would go all day sometimes without kicking and start kicking a few times at night .
This pregnancy is similar with movement as well ...
Counting your baby’s kicks is a good tool for any mom to be to try to gauge how much (or little) your babies are moving. The way it’s done is the same for twins or singletons:Twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening, note the time and start counting any movement you feel (kicks, flutters, swishes, rolls).Stop when you reach 10, and note the time again:If it took more than an hour to feel 10 movements, have a snack or go for a walk, then lie down and relax and count again. If two hours go by without 10 movements, call your practitioner. That said, with twins — especially since their movement gets more restricted more quickly than with single babies — what’s just as important as kick-counting is generally paying attention to your babies’ patterns. Are they usually active right after you eat, or when you’re putting your feet up to rest? If they deviate from that pattern, alert your healthcare provider.
I have 7th month of pregnency..i feel the movment.but some day i feel too much movment. I mean more then routien days.what reason of this ..in that days i also feel back pain ..i am worried about this case ..why i feel the too much movement..is it bad or danjrous???? Plz help me
Mahnoor Chaudri too much movement is always a good sign too me meaning the baby is alive and well when my daughter didn't move for a whole day I freaked out and went to the hospital and she started moving as soon as I was getting checked
For those of you feeling a lot of movement, it's normal and fine. In fact, it's a good sign. If the baby stopped moving all of a sudden, that would be worrisome. My first child was always moving the entire pregnancy, and she was the same way after she was born. As an infant, she would kick her legs all the time. I've had friends who rarely felt their baby, and once it was born, it was a very calm, sleepy baby. I think how active they are in the womb is just indicative of their personality. You can try to cut back on things that would make the baby hyper - caffeine, sugar, fruits, etc. Noises around you can also be heard by the baby, so you might figure out what's going on when the baby is most active and see if that might have something to do with it. Also, you should walk around. When you're active, the movement lulls them to sleep, just like with a newborn; when you're still, they tend to be awake.
