I just exercised along with this video once. Then immediately I tried to draw a circle. Miraculously I was able draw the circle without wobbling ! Shaky hand writing is my big issue. I am glad to exercise with you doctor I am 25years old and my legs and hand vibrates when I was angry on someone. when i was in age of 7 i got attack in my brain called conversion this disease is not more but i think my nerves affected due to this. https://youtu.be/aLPZNmXSfLc राइटर्स क्रेम्प बीमारी में लिखने में हाथ में कम्पन,दर्द,अकड़न,हाथ जाम होना,पेन व पेन्सिल हाथ से छूटना,फिसलना,लिखावट खराब,लिखने में शब्दों का टेढ़ा- मेढ़ा,छोटी-बड़ी होना,लिखने में हाथ का इधर-उधर जाना व लिखने वाले हाथ का अंगूठा,अंगुलियाँ,कलाई सामान्य से अलग व्यवहार करना जैसे अँगूठा अंदर की ओर मुड़ना, किसी उंगली का ऊपर उठना या अंदर की ओर मुड़ना,कलाई का ऊपर उठना,अंदर या बाहर जाना,पेन या पेंसिल पकड़ने या लिखने पर हाथ में कम्पन आदि प्रमुख लक्षण हैं। इस बीमारी में लिखने की स्पीड बहुत कम हो जाती है। इस बीमारी में बैंक व परीक्षा में हस्ताक्षर करने में परेशानी,अजनबी के सामने,तनाव,घबराहट के समय लिखने का काम लगभग असम्भव हो जाता है।हाथ में कम्पन भी बढ़ जाता है।इसके अतिरिक्त बीमारी पुरानी होने पर धड़कन,सिरदर्द,चक्कर,स्नायु दुर्बलता,पूरे शरीर में कम्पन,हाथ से औजार,वस्तुओं का छूटना, गिरना आदि परेशानियां भी हो सकती हैं। राइटर्स क्रेम्प किसी भी उम्र में हो सकता है। इस प्रकार की परेशानी अथवा कम्पन चेहरे,आँखें,गर्दन,जीभ,आदि में भी हो सकता है।इसे चिकित्सीय भाषा में फोकल डिस्टोनिया या ऑक्यूपेशनल डिस्टोनिया कहते हैं। राइटर्स क्रेम्प का कारण मस्तिष्क में गहराई में स्थित उपांग बेसल गंगलिओं (basal ganglion) का ठीक से काम न करना है। राइटर्स क्रेम्प रोगी अगर लिखने के लिए अपने दूसरे हाथ अर्थात दाहिने हाथ से लिखने वाला रोगी यदि बाएं हाथ से लेखन कार्य प्रारम्भ कर देता है,तो भी कुछ माह बाद बाएं हाथ में भी राइटर्स क्रेम्प बीमारी हो जाती है। राइटर्स क्रेम्प रोग का सफल इलाज़ संजीवनी फाउंडेशन में होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सा द्वारा किया जाता है।अधिकतर मरीजों को 15 दिन के अंदर आराम मिलना शुरू हो जाना है। WRITER'S CRAMP AS THE NAME SUGGEST IS SOMETHING TO DO WITH WRITNG. Madi, I love your Hand Exercises. I have PD and my Handwriting is awful. These exercises you are doing remind me of some of the tests my neurologist gives me each time I meet with her. My questions is: do you have similar exercises for the Feet/Toes. I do Yoga and LOVE it. The feet are extremely important in Yoga. I recently purchased Correct Toes to help separate my toes. (They are all squished together from wearing cute, uncomfortable shoes for so long.) Do you have any similar exercises to help with the mobility/flexibility of the toes? If so, I would really appreciate getting a copy of them or a website address where they can be found. THANK YOU!!!

Madi, these exercises are a genuine blessing for me. The last exercise on the video was a "killer" for me. I'm careful when I do them not to be too tense. Also, from everything I know about exercises, isn't it essential to do them in the exact order in which you demonstrated them and not skip around? They are in that order for a therapeutic reason, and it makes a difference in their effectiveness. So, Thank You again so much.

Thank You so much. These are great exercises for the peripheral neuropathy in my hands. The pins and needles and numbness is painful. Resting and stopping until the pain subsides when I'm doing them before I continue with the exercises is essential. Exercise is the best medicine.

Do I have Parkinson’s? My hand would never shake until half way through the summer they would start to shake same with all my body parts like if I hold my hands still they shake. Someone please tell me what is wrong?

Hi Nency! Sometimes the pain from writer's dystonia can be relieved by improving flexibility and mobility in your hands and fingers, which these exercises are great at doing.
