Where is the Command&Conquer saga,? As good as Civ 5 is... still StarCraft2 should be ranked no. 1, its the game which is played by most ppl thru all years, from 1998 to 2010 it was StarCraft1, from 2010 on its StarCraft2.
bullsh1t everywhere, nobody even bothers to make a good bait for good games jesus? 5 of those games were good and rest crap, where's red alert and command and conquer edition along with many orther great games?
That's a nice list but a bit too broad imo. Yes they're all "strategy" games, but among the list there's RTS, tower defense, RPG, turn-based, stealth, puzzle, moba, rogue-like and action games, which are quite different from each other. I think a list where Transistor, SC2, Mini Metro and Dota 2 are considered the same kind of games doesn't make much sense. Just my 2 cents.
Yes exactly, PC has plenty of RTS to dedicate a list to the genre alone. If any game where you need to think is considered a strategy game, then there should be plenty of others genres included; card games, sim-like games, simulation games, 4X, even survival games.
How can FTL (a roguelike), Orcs must die (a tower defense) and warcraft 3 (an RTS) end up on the same list? Wouldn't Valkyria chronicles make more sense in a top 25 RPG list? Did you guys even play half of these games or did you just filter "strategy" on metacritic and picked the first 25 entries you found? And where the hell is Age of Empires?
